Abstract

Abstract

This research investigates the Financial and Asset Management Agency of Lubuklinggau City to elucidate the independent variable's influence on the dependent variable while simultaneously assessing the moderating variable's role. The study surveyed a purposive sample of 57 agency employees. Data were scrutinized via Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The principal findings are as follows: 1) Employee performance registers a statistically significant partial correlation with employee competence. The correlation manifests through a t statistic of 4.926, which exceeds the critical t value of 2.002, a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), and a standardized coefficient of 0.516. Competence emerges as the preeminent explanatory variable. 2) Employee performance likewise correlates positively with employee motivation, the latter being observable through collegial interactions and the conferment of recognition. 3) Work discipline functions as a moderating variable that intensifies the relationship between competence and employee performance, evident in a t statistic of 2.399 (t critical = 2.002), a significance of 0.003 (p < 0.05), and a coefficient of 0.285. The interplay of heightened competence and clearly delineated performance objectives cultivates self-regulated discipline among the workforce. 4). The root-norm of work discipline significantly magnifies the effect of the task-allocation parameter on the output of personnel, as the statistically determined t value of 2.382 exceeds the tabulated t criterion of 2.002, with a significance level of .007, thus remaining below the .05 threshold, and yielding a regression coefficient of .273. Sustained evaluative supervision thereby emerges as the foundational support for the efficacy of the process intended to institutionalize the observance of discipline.

Abstract

This research examines the variables affecting students' intentions to utilize QRIS e-payment, with a focus on students enrolled in Bina Insan University of management program, despite earlier studies on QRIS adoption has made extensive use of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), mixed results point to the need for more investigation. Using the Slovin with a margin of error (0.05), a sample of 270 respondents was chosen from the population of 825 students in this research. To make sure the sample was representative, stratified proportional sampling was used. Using structural equation modeling, hypotheses were evaluated. The results of the study show that students' interest in utilizing QRIS is highly influenced by perceived ease of use and perceived risk. However, student enthusiasm in utilizing QRIS was not significantly impacted by perceived usefulness. This result raises the possibility that adoption may not be fueled only by the useful advantages of QRIS. Rather, it emphasizes how important it is for service providers to concentrate on enhancing transaction security and fostering user confidence. Promoting QRIS adoption among students may be more successful if its security features are improved and users worries regarding data security and financial stability are addressed. Future studies should examine how additional elements, such perceived social influence and institutional trust, affect student intentions to utilize QRIS.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of hard skills, soft skills, and digitalization on employee job readiness and the mediating role of job stress at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Lubuklinggau Branch. The method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The results showed that hard skills, soft skills, and digitalization partially affected work readiness. Simultaneously, the three variables also have a considerable impact, indicating that work readiness is influenced by various skills that support each other. In addition, job stress is proven to act as an intervening variable in the relationship between hard and soft skills and job readiness. Thus, developing technical, interpersonal, and digital skills needs to be accompanied by effective stress management to improve work readiness optimally. These findings provide important implications for human resource management in the banking sector, particularly in enhancing employee competencies and work readiness in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy on students’ saving behavior and to examine the role of lifestyle as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, targeting university students in Lubuklinggau City. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, resulting in 100 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on students’ saving behavior. This finding suggests that improved understanding and capability in managing personal finances encourage students to adopt better saving habits. In contrast, the mediation analysis reveals that lifestyle does not significantly mediate the relationship between financial literacy and saving behavior, indicating that the effect of financial literacy occurs directly. Financial literacy emerges as a key determinant in shaping sound financial behavior, particularly in saving practices. Although lifestyle is often associated with consumptive behavior, in this study it does not play a significant mediating role. This implies that students tend to manage their finances rationally without being dominantly influenced by their lifestyle. The findings imply that enhancing financial literacy should be a primary focus in promoting students’ saving behavior. Financial education, personal financial management training, and early saving habits can serve as effective strategies to improve the financial well-being of younger generations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure and dividend policy on firm value, as well as to examine the role of profitability as a moderating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data in the form of corporate financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used is panel data regression, with model selection conducted through the Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange Multiplier (LM) test, resulting in the Random Effect Model (REM) as the most appropriate model. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-test, F-test, coefficient of determination (R²), and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that partially, capital structure does not have a significant effect on firm value, while dividend policy has a significant effect on firm value. Simultaneously, capital structure and dividend policy do not have a significant effect on firm value. The low coefficient of determination suggests that other factors outside the model influence firm value. Furthermore, the moderation test results show that profitability is not able to moderate the effect of capital structure and dividend policy on firm value. These findings support the Pecking Order Theory, which states that firms tend to rely more on internal financing sources, as well as the Signalling Theory, which explains that dividend policy can serve as a positive signal to investors. However, the effectiveness of financial policies in increasing firm value largely depends on contextual factors and firm characteristics. Therefore, future research is recommended to include additional variables and apply more comprehensive methodological approaches.
