Abstract

Digital technology development drives the increasing use of e-wallets in society. Generation Z, known for its adaptability to technology, shows lower OVO application usage in Surabaya City than in other major cities. This phenomenon requires a deep understanding of factors influencing usage decisions. This study analyzes the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust on OVO application usage decisions among Generation Z in Surabaya City. The study employs a quantitative approach, with 100 respondents aged 15-24 years selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using structured questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust significantly influence OVO application usage decisions both partially and simultaneously. Perceived usefulness becomes the most dominant variable in influencing usage decisions, with the largest contribution. The study concludes that increasing OVO usage among Generation Z requires strategies that emphasize ease of use, optimize perceived user benefits, and enhance trust in the security of the application service.

Abstract

Peningkatan partisipasi ekonomi perempuan merupakan prioritas dalam Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Panjang Nasional (RPJPN) 2025–2045. Salah satu pendekatan strategisnya adalah pemberdayaan melalui kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal. Program “Kreatif & Mandiri: Meningkatkan Penghasilan Perempuan Berdaya Lewat Usaha Crispy Banana Katz” dirancang sebagai bentuk sinergi antara akademisi STIE Mahardhika Surabaya dan Dinas Perpustakaan Kota Mojokerto dalam mendukung Transformasi Perpustakaan Berbasis Inklusi Sosial (TPBIS). Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah Partisipatory Action Research (PAR), yang meliputi langkah-langkah identifikasi masalah, analisis mendalam, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui ceramah, diskusi, simulasi, dan praktik langsung, yang diikuti oleh 35 peserta perempuan dari berbagai latar belakang, mulai ibu rumah tangga, pustakawan, hingga mahasiswi. Tujuan pelatihan untuk mengembangkan usaha berbasis bahan lokal, pisang, menjadi produk kekinian yang bernilai jual tinggi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi wirausaha bagi peserta sehingga membentuk komunitas wirausaha perempuan yang saling mendukung dan mendorong kemandirian ekonomi di tingkat rumah tangga. Rekomendasi tindak lanjut meliputi pendampingan berkelanjutan, akses pasar, jejaring wirausaha, replikasi program, serta pemantauan rutin untuk pengembangan usaha dan pemberdayaan perempuan.

Abstract

The batik creative industry is important and vital to Indonesia's cultural economy, but it faces challenges from digital competition and changing consumer behavior. This study examines how product design, service quality, and price affect customer satisfaction when purchasing bold batik online. It builds on earlier research that studied these factors one at a time. The study used a quantitative approach to collect data from 300 people who purchased batik through digital platforms, and employed the SEM-PLS method for analysis. The results show that all three factors—product design, service quality, and price—positively and significantly influence customer satisfaction. Among them, product design has the biggest and most significant impact, showing how important design innovation is for the most significant impact, underscoring the importance of design innovation in keeping the batik industry connected to cultural identity. Digital service quality and fair pricing also help shape the customer experience and satisfaction. The study suggests that small and medium businesses should focus on improving design through technology, boosting digital service quality, and adopting pricing strategies that add value. From a policy standpoint, there is a need for digital training, authentic product certification, and financial support to help these businesses remain competitive and sustainable in the long run.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan kerja, pengembangan karir dan komunikasi internal terhadap kinerja karyawan di UD. Sun Flower. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan pada UD. Sun Flower. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 responden. Teknik pengumpulan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara non probability sampling dengan jenis sampling total. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada seluruh karyawan UD. Sun Flower. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS (Statistic Product and Services Solution) versi 29.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pelatihan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai t-hitung = 7.227 > t- tabel 2.012, variabel pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai t hitung = 5.823 > t-tabel 2.012, dan variabel komunikasi internal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai t hitung 6.928 > t-tabel 2.012. Dari ketiga hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan kerja, pengembangan karir dan komunikasi internal terhadap kinerja karyawan berpengaruh secara parsial. Untuk pengujian secara simultan, diperoleh hasil bahwa semua variabel secara bersama sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Jenggelek Fish Crackers is a typical cracker produced in East Java Province, one of its locations in the coastal village of Besuki – Situbondo with a blend of savory and crunchy flavors. We deliberately pack the jenggelek fish crackers in raw form with various sizes, so that later it will last longer and be easier to ship. The purpose of this Student Creativity Program (PKM) is to increase knowledge and skills as well as the productivity of processed fishery products. The output target in this activity is marketing innovation in the form of producing Jenggelek Fish crackers with various flavors, making attractive Jenggelek Fish product packaging, creating a digital-based marketing strategy to expand market share. The results of the activities that have been implemented include product innovation in the form of flavor variants namely Seblak, sambal matah, seaweed, Blackpaper, spicy and super spicy, packaging with a more modern design with the label “Mileneal Fish Crackers”, as well as a digital marketing strategy through social media. Media such as Whatsapp and Instagram groups. From PKM activities during these 3 months, business actors were able to reap a net profit of 65.07%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the communication style of Generation Z Civil Servants (ASN) within the Department of Labor and Transmigration in East Java Province, focusing on aspects of workplace culture such as decision-making approaches, communication styles, and character traits. This qualitative study adopts a post-positivist paradigm. The findings reveal that the communication style of Generation Z ASN members in the Department of Labor and Transmigration in East Java Province tends to prioritize collaborative decision-making and teamwork over individual work. They prefer to engage in discussions and exchange ideas within their teams, often referred to as "The Relinquishing." These findings reflect the changing dynamics of communication among Generation Z, who place a strong emphasis on open dialogue and mutual support in achieving collective goals. This research provides valuable insights for the management of the Department of Labor and Transmigration in East Java Province to better understand the communication preferences of Generation Z, enabling them to create a more inclusive and effective work environment for these ASN members. Additionally, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the evolving work culture in the digital age and among younger generations.

Abstract

Nowadays, social media is rampant among teenagers, and it has both positive and negative impacts. For example, one positive impact of social media for teenagers is the ability to access information quickly, which broadens their understanding of social issues and increases their awareness of global affairs. However, there are also negative impacts associated with social media use among teenagers. One such negative impact is the dependency on social media, which leads to excessive time spent on these platforms and neglect of more important tasks. Furthermore, social media can adversely affect the mental health of teenagers, as it provides a platform for cyberbullying. This puts teenagers at risk of developing depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders. Therefore, the role of parents is crucial in monitoring their children's social media usage to mitigate the negative impacts. By doing so, they can help teenagers avoid the adverse effects of social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and develop marketing strategies that suit the needs of MSMES AL-BAROKAH IBU ROSSI. The research methods applied are case studies and surveys through interviews with the owner of MSME AL-BAROKAH, Mrs. Rossi, as well as secondary data analysis related to the industry and the latest market trends. The results showed that MSME AL-BAROKAH IBU ROSSI needs to adopt a marketing approach that focuses on target market and product differentiation. Recommended marketing strategies include clear target market identification, strong brand development, use of social media and digital marketing, and providing added value through superior customer service. In addition, collaboration with other parties, such as financial institutions, business partners, or local communities, can also increase MSME market visibility and access

Abstract

This research project is designed to assess the level of involvement of village heads in participatory decision-making processes within Lerpak Village. The findings obtained from this study reveal that the participation of village heads remains rather limited, leaving a substantial portion of the village population feeling excluded from decisions that directly impact their lives. Village heads tend to make decisions unilaterally, often neglecting meaningful dialogue or adequate consultation with the villagers. Several factors contribute to this limited engagement of village heads, including the need for improved communication skills, a lack of understanding regarding the significance of community involvement, limited institutional support, and a desire to maintain a firm grip on power. This article delves into the broader implications of these research findings, particularly concerning the enhancement of community participation in decision-making processes not only in Lerpak Village but also in similar rural communities. The recommendations put forth in response to these findings include the provision of communication skills training for village heads, with the hope that this will stimulate positive transformations in the practice of participatory decision-making, ultimately promoting inclusivity and effective governance in such communities.

Abstract

PT Matahari Department Store Tbk is a retail company that started its business in 1958, by the end of 2022 the company owned and operated 148 outlets. PT Matahari Department Store Tbk sells a wide range of products such as children's clothing, youth clothing, adult clothing, shoes, bags, accessories and make up. The purpose of this research is to measure the financial performance of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk for three years from 2020 to 2022. The quantitative descriptive approach method is the research method used in this research. Liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, and profitability ratios are ratios used as data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the calculation of the ratio that has been done, it shows that PT Matahari Department Store Tbk has poor financial performance. These findings highlight the need for the company to address these issues and implement strategies to improve its financial performance in the future.
