Abstract

The effectiveness of a business is significantly impacted by the productivity of its employees, and all businesses constantly work towards enhancing productivity in order to reach their objectives. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the work environment and leadership approach are affecting the performance of employees at PT Univenus. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach method. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews. The study involved analyzing data from interviews using qualitative methods. The findings indicate that both workplace environment and leadership approach play crucial roles in determining employee performance and productivity. A welcoming and encouraging work atmosphere, along with strong leadership, has the ability to inspire workers to increase their efforts, enhance their performance, and reach the goals of the organization.

Abstract

This article aims to conduct a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis in order to formulate a sales improvement strategy at Surya Inti Putra Dealer in Sidoarjo. Through SWOT analysis, we identified various internal and external factors that affect the performance of the dealership. The strengths of the dealership include good reputation, strategic location, complete product availability, adequate after-sales service, and competent human resources. Weaknesses identified include less effective marketing, less competitive pricing, limited information systems, and lack of digital services. Opportunities that can be capitalized on are the growth of the automotive market, development of digital technology, strategic partnerships, and product diversification. Threats include intense competition, regulatory changes, economic crisis, and changing consumer preferences. Based on this analysis, recommended strategies include optimizing digital marketing, promotion and discount programs, improving customer service, developing human resources, strategic partnerships, and product diversification. The implementation of these strategies is expected to increase sales and strengthen Surya Inti Putra Dealer's position in the Sidoarjo automotive market.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of maslahah in the loan or revolving fund financing program managed by the Cooperative, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Revolving Fund Management Institution (LPDB-KUMKM).The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Secondary data was obtained from a variety of sources, including journals, related research, and books relevant to the context of the discussion.The results of the study show that LPDB-KUMKM as a whole has applied the concept of maslahah in its program. This finding is reflected in several aspects. First, LPDB-KUMKM has succeeded in creating economic independence for cooperatives and partner MSMEs through the provision of funds, training, and mentoring. Second, this institution ensures that all programs implemented meet the characteristics of sharia compliance by avoiding elements of riba, gharar, and maisir. Third, this institution also conducts a comprehensive risk evaluation including credit risk, operational risk, and compliance risk. Fourth, LPDB-KUMKM actively empowers the community through training programs, mentoring, and providing access to other resources. Fifth, LPDB-KUMKM applies the principles of accountability and transparency in every stage of its management. Sixth, this institution is actively involved in the process of continuous evaluation and improvement to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all programs implemented. The results of this research can be implemented into the economic life of the community by utilizing Maslahah in loan program activities and revolving funds.

Abstract

Research on the analysis of Article 21 Income Tax (PPh 21) on employee salaries aims to understand the & application of PPh 21 on employee income. This involves calculating gross salaries, deducting job-related expenses and pension contributions, as well as calculating PPh 21 taxes. Errors in tax calculations can occur due to non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This research is conducted using a descriptive analytical approach with both primary and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that there are many errors in the updating of employee statuses according to current conditions. Consequently, errors occur in calculations, reported amounts, and overpayments of Article 21 Income Tax. The reporting of PPh 21 by PT. INDO BISMAR does not comply with applicable regulations. This occurs because the reported employee statuses are incorrect and affect tax calculations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how human resource management in East Java Province's Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises affects workers' professional advancement. Qualitative methods including documentation, interviews, and observations were used in the research. This research presents a significant challenge due to its qualitative nature and phenomenological approach. Human resource management's impact on workers' professional development in East Java Province's Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises is the subject of this phenomenological investigation. Indicators include scholarship information, fair career behaviour, and attention from direct superiors. A person's capacity to obtain a job or position that satisfies their life demands can be enhanced through career development. When people in a group or social setting act in a certain way, it can have a major effect on the outcome of the situation. This is called a role. Employees of the East Java Province Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises benefit from HR management in terms of career development, according to research. Each line and department is responsible for certain tasks in keeping with the existing organisational structure of the corporation. Consequently, employees are well-managed because they are given the resources they need to succeed in their future jobs and contribute to the company's success.

Abstract

Research in this internship program was carried out to find out the company's work activities resulting in a fairly large turnover and the process of recording financial reports in companies engaged in advertising and stamp making services in Surabaya. The performance of the sales and marketing team as well as the management team has an important role in the process of recording financial reports and the expected stability of turnover. Recording financial reports must involve all necessary activities and aims to serve as an information medium for management to plan and control and report on the company's conditions and operations. Companies need financial reports to evaluate financial performance for stakeholders who need this information. The more balanced the relationship between individual and group performance, the better the value of the company's performance. This business process which operates in the field of advertising and stamp making services in the current era is very popular and is needed by corporate agencies and individuals to introduce their business to the public. Forms in this advertising creation service can include neon boxes, embossed letters, banners and stamps. The management system plays a very important role in this advertising business.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the extent to which leadership style, motivation, and salary influence employee performance at the dr.X primary clinic. The research method is a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample taken was 18 respondents. In data collection using online questionnaires and direct observation. Data analysis techniques using SPSS. The findings of the study indicate that employee performance increased significantly due to the positive impact of leadership style, motivation, and salary.

Abstract

A mechanism is needed to control the problem of bad claims that often occurs in financial institutions. This study aims to measure the extent to which internal credit controls contribute to the reduction of bad claims. A descriptive qualitative research approach was used. Although there are still some limitations, this study shows that the implementation of internal controls in the credit system can help improve credit quality and reduce the percentage of bad claims.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between pilgrimage tourism to Wali tombs and halal tourism, focusing on the integration of Sharia values in the management of religious destinations. In the context of East Java, this research examines the application of Sharia principles by site managers to maintain the sanctity and integrity of the sites, as well as its impact on the experience of Muslim tourists. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with site managers, tourists, and local communities, along with direct field observations. The findings show that the application of Sharia management in site operations not only enhances tourist satisfaction but also strengthens the local economy and cultural preservation. However, the study also found a lack of understanding of Sharia values among some site managers. This research provides recommendations for site managers to create tourist destinations aligned with Sharia principles, supporting the growth of halal tourism in Indonesia. It is hoped that the results of this study can serve as a reference for developing policies on sustainable and responsible religious tourism.This study has several limitations, including the geographical scope limited to East Java and restricted access to all pilgrimage site managers. Therefore, the findings cannot be generalized to all religious tourism destinations in Indonesia. Further research covering a broader area is recommended to enrich the findings.

Abstract

This research examines the digital literacy of the elderly in Indonesia, focusing on their ability to engage with information technology, particularly in the context of communication and information security. With the rapid development of digital technologies, the elderly face challenges in adopting and utilizing these tools, often due to generational differences, health issues, and a lack of digital education. However, recent studies show an increase in the elderly’s participation in digital platforms, such as WhatsApp, for communication and information access. Despite this, many seniors still struggle with issues like data security, online fraud, and the spread of misinformation. This research emphasizes the importance of improving digital literacy among the elderly to enhance their independence and safety in the digital era. A holistic approach is recommended, including targeted training, community support, and the development of age-friendly digital infrastructure. By increasing awareness and providing adequate resources, the elderly can overcome technological barriers, stay connected, and navigate the digital world more effectively.
