Abstract

This study aims to determine the efectivity of Bintaro Fruit (Cerbera odollam gaerthn) Ethanol Extract Against Blood Glucose Decrease in White Rats (Rattus Norvegicus. The research design used was an experimental laboratory carried out in the pharmacology laboratory of the Department of Pharmacy, Pancasakti University. This study used 15 rats. male white rats were divided into 5 groups consisting of group I as a negative control by giving 1% w/v Na.CMC suspension, groups II, III, IV as a treatment group given Bintaro Fruit extract 1% w/v, 3% w/v, 5% w/v And group V was given Glibenclamide suspension as a positive control.The results showed that the percentage reduction in blood glucose for negative control, treatment and positive groups was 11.37%, 32.03%, 65, respectively. 46%, 86.15%, 95.5% The most effective concentration was 5% w/v concentration with an average value of 86.15% reduction, but it has not been able to match the effectiveness of Glibenclamide. in statistical testing using the Graphad Prims program for an alpha rate of 0.05, P value of 0.0001 is significant, the F value is 608.3.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills through an inquiry learning model with problem based learning. This research is classroom action research. The subjects of the study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Rumbia, totaling 2 groups with 15 students in one group in accordance with the limited face-to-face learning rules in the era of the covid 19 pandemic. The test instrument used was in the form of open questions (essay form) according to the grid. test. Critical thinking skills that are measured are identifying and formulating problems, giving arguments, making deductions, conducting inductions, evaluating, and deciding and carrying out actions. The results showed that the Problem Based Learning learning model with Inquiry was effectively used to improve students' critical thinking skills. Students' critical thinking skills have increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 with an average pretest score of 50.25, while the posttest average score is 87.48. There was a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills in cycle 2 who were taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model with Inquiry, namely 37, 23

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model project-based learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Gowa pada materi sistem pernapasan. Populasi pada penelitian ini seluruh kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Gowa dengan sampel sebanyak 72 siswa. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik tes dan non tes. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model project-based learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa, hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil uji hipotesis yang menunjukkan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya model project-based learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Gowa pada materi sistem pernapasan. Abstract

Higher education is one of the important stages in preparing students to enter the world of work. In addition to demanding high academic abilities, the world of work also expects graduates to have qualified soft skills. The purpose of this study is to analyse philosophy education as a means of developing students' soft skills. This research is qualitative in nature. Data collection techniques include listening and recording important information to conduct data analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that innovative and creative philosophy teaching can motivate students, while students' needs and interests need to be considered in teaching. Lecturers have an important role in guiding and facilitating discussions and debates in class, so that students can develop critical thinking skills, good argumentation, public speaking, empathy, and cooperation.
