Abstract

Abstract ABSTRAKThis study aims to determine the effect of the flash card assisted picture and1 picture learning model on the understanding of the concept of the student food chain. The design of this study isquasiexperimental, non-equivalent control group design. Samples were taken by purposive sampling and obtained class 5A as an experimental class and class 5B as a control class at SDN 2 Sukorejo. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are normality test, homogeneity test. Independent sampet-test and simple linear regeression test. The results showed : 1) there are differences in the learning model of picture and picture assisted flash card to the understanding of the concept of the food chain of students with a significant value of 0.016<0.05 and 0.015<0.05; 2) there is an effect of using the learning model of picture and picture assisted flash card to the understanding of the concept of the food chain of students with a significance level of 0.006 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the learning model of picture and picture assisted flash card affects the understanding of the concept of the food chain.Keywords : flash card, concept understanding, picture and picture.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan flash card terhadap pemahaman konsep rantai makanan siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi exsperimen, non-equivalent control group design. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dan didapatkan kelas 5A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas 5B sebagai kelas kontrol di SDN 2 Sukorejo. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas. Uji independent sampet-tes dan uji regeresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) terdapat perbedaan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan flash card terhadap pemahaman konsep rantai makanan siswa dengan nilai signifikan 0.016<0,05 dan 0,015<0,05; 2) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan flash card terhadap pemahaman konsep rantai makanan siswa dengan taraf signifikansi 0,006 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan flash card berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep rantai makanan.Kata kunci : flash card, pemahaman konsep, picture and picture

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop the electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD), based on the Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS), in improving the learning activities of elementary school students. In this Research and Development (R&D) designed research, the data collection techniques used were the questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The data was analyzed with SETS elements, the e-worksheet validity test was measured by the experts validation, the learning practices were measured using the student and teacher observations lists, the effectiveness of the e-worksheet was tested using the independent sample t-test and the students' cognitive mastery test scores. The results showed that the SETS -based e-worksheet was valid, practical, and effective in increasing students’ learning activities. It can be concluded that: 1) the e-worksheet is valid as the average score from the expert validation resulted 93.5% in a ‘very good’ category and can be used without revision; 2) the e-worksheet is practical, proved by the observation result in the experimental class students that reached  88%, compared to the control class with 72 % score. The results of the students’ responses scored 81% in ‘good’ category and 93% in the experimental class in a ‘very good’ category; 3) the e-worksheet proved to be effective shown by the t-count which was higher than the t-table (2.619 > 1.995), that made the H0 was rejected, that suggested there was a difference in the result of cognitive learning in the experimental (91.4% ) and control class (80%).

Abstract

STEM is an approach that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in learning. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the STEM approach is implemented in science learning and to analyze the effective learning process while implementing the STEM approach. The research method used is literature review through Scopus and Google Schoolar in 2017-2022. The results of a study of 15 articles that match the topic show: 1) the STEM approach is suitable to be implemented in science learning in elementary schools, 2) the learning process with the STEM approach can run effectively if the topic of the issues raised focuses on real problems in students' daily lives, the teacher understands the learning model used in integrating with STEM, enabling student-centered learning by conducting investigations to solve problems. Elementary teachers still need training and guidance in applying the STEM approach during the learning process. Abstract

The SETS vision dakon game is a form of traditional game combined with a learning process by linking science, environment, technology, and society. With the SETS vision dakon game, it is hoped that teachers will be able to instill character values ​​during distance learning because this game can be done at home. The method used is community development through the following stages: 1) preparation; 2) introduction; 3) implementation; 4) monitoring; and 5) evaluation. The results of this PkM show that the character values ​​that have been embedded in the sixth grade students of SDN Susukan are 1) honest as much as 90.9% in the very good category, 2) intelligent as much as 63.6% in the good category, 3) fair as much as 77, 2% in good category, 4) cooperation as much as 86.3% in very good category, 5) firm as much as 68.1% in good category, 6) imagination as much as 59% with good enough category, 7) ambitious as much as 100% with very good category, 8) brave as much as 81.8% with very good category, and 9) attention as much as 86.3% with very good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari temuan penelitian pendahuluan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa masih kurang (terutama pada kelas IIIB yang rata-rata persentase kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa sebesar 49% dan rerata persentase minat belajar siswa sebesar 65,3%). Tujuan penelitian agar diketahuinya pengaruh pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan komik terhadap kemampuan pemahaman bacaan maupun minat belajar siswa SD. Desain penelitian ialah Quasi Experimental berbasis eksperimen kuantitatif. Salah satu temuan penelitian adalah kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa berbeda ketika menggunakan pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan komik. Temuan lainnya adalah kemampuan minat belajar siswa berbeda ketika menggunakan model pembelajaran di atas berbantuan komik. (3) Keterampilan pemahaman bacaan siswa dipengaruhi pembelajaran CIRC yang menggunakan komik sebagai alat bantu, dan (4) minat belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh model yang sama. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman bacaan dan minat belajar siswa sekolah dasar dipengaruhi oleh penggabungan komik ke dalam paradigma pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC).

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the planting of environmental care through hydroponic programs. This type of research is qualitative research with purposive sampling technique. The research subjects were students in grade V SDN Susukan 04 East Ungaran Semarang Regency. Data collection techniques through FGD, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument used was a draft FGD, questionnaire sheets, interview guides, and documentation archives. Technique validity of data through source triangulation and technique triangulation. Students carry out the hydroponic program with a floating raft system through the axis technique. The planting of an environmental care attitude is carried out through several stages of the hydroponic program, namely the stages of sowing, seedling, growth/enlarging and harvesting. The results showed that the most dominant environmental care attitude of students was nurturing plants, while the weakest environmental care attitude of students was developing a comfortable environment. The environmental care attitude that has been embedded in elementary school students is the interest in planting and caring for plants, conserving energy by using water as needed, throwing trash into the trash, and recycling used goods.

Abstract

Lack of students' skills in writing and speaking when learning Indonesian. The reciprocal teaching model is an alternative to increase students' effectiveness in writing and speaking in more optimal Indonesian language learning. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in the effectiveness of Indonesian language learning by implementing the reciprocal teaching model. The research was carried out using a quasi-experimental design with descriptive analysis techniques, normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The research location was carried out at SD Hj. Isriati Moenadi Ungaran, Semarang with the research sample involving 36 students of class V Imam Bonjol as the experimental class and 36 students of V Kartini as the control class. The average score for speaking skills in Indonesian language learning for experimental class students, which was initially 53.58 after treatment using the reciprocal teaching model, increased to 85.69. The results of the paired sample t test also showed a significance value (Sig.) of 0.001 < 0.05. Based on the results of this research, it proves that there has been an increase in speaking skills in Indonesian language learning, and it can be said that the reciprocal teaching model is effective in improving speaking skills in Indonesian language learning for fifth grade students at Hj Elementary School. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the ability of students of SD Negeri 1 Pug uh in understanding the concept of class IV. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental research methods. The research subjects consisted of 48 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Pug u h. data collection techniques through tests, observations and interviews. The results show that we will use the small group discussion method based on internships:1. The value of tcount ttable is 3.898 2009 and Sig. There is a difference in the average ability of students to understand concepts, it can be seen from the case where the score (both) is 0.001. If 0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2. The small group discussion model can improve students' understanding of concepts represented by Fcount5040 with a significance of 0.035 Value for 0.05 and R2 = 0.182 = 18.2%. The conclusion of this study is a small group discussion model based on internships. There are differences between the use of the lab model and other models, which may affect your understanding of the concept of the nature of light.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the Student Teams Ahievement Division (STAD) learning model assisted by Puzzle media on understanding the concept of science in class IV students at SDN I Prigi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a research design that is a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. SDN 1 Prigi as the experimental class and class IV SDN 3 Prigi as the control class. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Independent Sample T-Test, Simple Linear Regression Test, Paired Sample T-Test. The results of this study indicate: (1) There are differences in the student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model assisted by media puzzles in terms of understanding science concepts in experimental class students and the student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model without puzzle media, this is evidenced by a significant level 0.000 which is 0.05 using an independent sample t-test. (2) There is an influence of the student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model assisted by media puzzles on increasing students' understanding of science concepts, this is evidenced by a significant level of 0.002, which is 0.05 using a simple linear regression test. (3) The student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model assisted by puzzle media can improve students' understanding of science concepts, this is evidenced by a significant level of 0.000, which is 0.05 using a paired sample t-test. Based on this study it can be concluded that there are differences, influences, and increased understanding of the concept of science in the use of the student teams achievement division (STAD) model assisted by media puzzles for students at SDN 1 Prigi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by crank games to improve understanding of science concepts and interest in learning elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach, experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. Samples were taken by random or random techniques. This research used questionnaire/questionnaire data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, t-test, Simple Linear Regression Test and N-Gain Test. The results of this study show: 1) There is a difference in the average understanding of elementary school students' concepts using the problem-based learning model assisted by crank games. This is evidenced by the sig count value of 0.001 ˂ 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the quality of learning in the experimental class and the control class. The mean for the experimental class was 90.75, far greater than the average for the control class, 79.50. 2) There is a difference in the average learning interest of elementary school students using the problem-based learning model assisted by crank games. This is evidenced by Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.001 ie 0.001 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the use of the problem based learning model with the help of the crank on the interest in learning science for SDIT Insan Kamil students by 78.89%. 3) There is an influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by crank games on the understanding of elementary school students' concepts. This is evidenced by t count = 6.638 ˃ t table = 0.468 and a significance value of 0.001 ˂ 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by crank games on increasing the ability to understand elementary school students' concepts. 4) There is an influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by crank games on the learning interest of elementary school students. This is evidenced by the sig value of 0.001 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence from the crank-assisted problem-based learning model on interest in learning science in elementary schools. 5) problem-based learning with the help of cranks can improve elementary school students' understanding of concepts. It is proven that the average score of the experimental class is quite effective, namely 56.6%, while the average score of the control class is less effective, namely 26%. So it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model with the help of cranks in science learning can improve elementary school students' conceptual understanding. 6) The crank-assisted problem-based learning model can increase elementary school students' learning interest. It is proved that the average score of the experimental class is quite effective, namely 58%, while the average score of the control class is less effective, namely 29.6%. So it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model with the help of cranks in science learning can increase elementary school students' learning interest.
