Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari temuan penelitian pendahuluan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa masih kurang (terutama pada kelas IIIB yang rata-rata persentase kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa sebesar 49% dan rerata persentase minat belajar siswa sebesar 65,3%). Tujuan penelitian agar diketahuinya pengaruh pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan komik terhadap kemampuan pemahaman bacaan maupun minat belajar siswa SD. Desain penelitian ialah Quasi Experimental berbasis eksperimen kuantitatif. Salah satu temuan penelitian adalah kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa berbeda ketika menggunakan pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan komik. Temuan lainnya adalah kemampuan minat belajar siswa berbeda ketika menggunakan model pembelajaran di atas berbantuan komik. (3) Keterampilan pemahaman bacaan siswa dipengaruhi pembelajaran CIRC yang menggunakan komik sebagai alat bantu, dan (4) minat belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh model yang sama. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman bacaan dan minat belajar siswa sekolah dasar dipengaruhi oleh penggabungan komik ke dalam paradigma pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC).

Abstract

The purpose of Community Service activities is to find the values ​​needed by teachers for the formation of the character of students in elementary schools for children with special needs (inclusion), as well as to socialize the use of modules for learning models and character education. The method of activity is by means of lectures and dialogues about the socialized model; workshops from teachers to discuss cases that emerged in schools and models designed to design modules; Next, participants compose a module and present it to be selected the best. The result of implementing Community Service activities is that teachers are able to identify the values ​​needed to be applied in schools for children with special needs and design models that will be implemented through the preparation of models in modules. The resulting module there are 28 types of models. Furthermore, from 28 selected 3 models that are considered the most innovative, creative, and inspiring. The school used for this socialization is SD N Jubelan 01 with 15 participants. AbstrakTujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat adalah menemukan nilai yang dibutuhkan oleh guru untuk pembentukan karakter peserta didik di sekolah dasar pada anak berkebutuhan kusus (inklusi), serta mensosialisasikan penggunaan modul untuk model pembelajaran serta Pendidikan kararter. Metode kegiatan dengan cara ceramah dan dialog tentang model yang disosialisasikan; workshop dari guru untuk mendiskusikan kasus-kasus yang muncul di sekolah dan model yang dirancang untuk merancang modul; selanjutnya, peserta menyusun modul dan dipresentasikan untuk dipilih yang terbaik. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat adalah guru-guru mampu mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai yang dibutuhkan untuk diterapkan di sekolah pada anak berkebutuhan kusus dan merancang model yang akan diimplementasikan melalui penyusunan model di modul. Modul yang dihasilkan ada 28 jenis model. Selanjutnya, dari 28 dipilih 3 model yang dipandang terinovatif, terkreatif, dan terinspiratif. Sekolah yang di guanakan untuk sosialisasi ini adalah SD N Jubelan 01 dengan jumlah peserta yang mengikuti ada 15.

Abstract

Berhitung merupakan salah satu keterampilan dasar dalam mata pelajaran matematika yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap orang. Oleh karena itu, siswa SD harus memiliki kemampuan berhitung yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media dart aksara dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan metode posttest-only control design. Populasi dari peneitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 SD di kecamatan Bergas dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas 1 SDN Wujil 01 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas 1 SDN Wujil 02 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan random sampling. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikasi < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) maka terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berhitung menggunakan media dart aksara dan media powerpoint. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen adalah 82.56 sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol adalah 74. Dengan demikian, penggunaan dart aksara lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa SD dibandingkan menggunakan media powerpoint.

Abstract

Kegiatan Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan berangkat dari kenyataan bahwa mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Ngudi Waluyo pada semester akhir masih kesulitan dalam menulis artikel ilmiah, sedangkan penulisan artikel ilmiah wajib dilaksanakan sebagai salah satu syarat tugas akhir mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Ngudi Waluyo dalam bentuk pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah. Metode penelitian deskriptif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumen dan dengan perhitungan penilaian secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan tahapan yakni 1) sosialisasi, 2) pendampingan, 3) monitoring dan evaluasi. Peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan ini berjumlah 45 mahasiswa semester 7 PGSD Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pelatihan ini yakni menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Ngudi Waluyo mengenai penulisan artikel ilmiah yang dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian indikator dalam penulisan artikel yaitu 1) Keefektifan judul artikel mencapai 100%, 2) Pencantuman nama penulis dan lembaga penulis mencapai 100%, 3) Abstrak sebesar 95.5%, 4) Kata kunci mencapai 100%, 5) Sistematika penulisan artikel mencapai 100%, 6) Pemanfaatan instrumen pendukung sebesar 88.8%, 7) Sistem pengacuan pustaka dan pengutipan sebesar 95.5%, 8) Penyusunan daftar pustaka sebesar 91.1%, 9) Penggunaan istilah dan kebahasaan sebesar 84.4%. Namun pelatihan perlu diikuti dengan kegiatan pelatihan yang berkesinambungan untuk mendapatkan hasil penulisan artikel yang lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SMA/SMK/MA ditujukan untuk mensosialisasikan pemanfaatan e-book kepada siswa kelas XII. E-book sebagai sumber belajar mandiri sehingga siswa mampu memperdalam materi secara mandiri apabila terjadi kekurangan jumlah tatap muka yang dilakukan guru dan siswa tidak memiliki buku cetak mata pelajaran yang lengkap.Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah presentasi, brainstorming, dan sharing tentang e-book kepada siswa kelas XII pada jenjang pendidikan sekolah menengah atas. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan monitoring dan evaluasi.Pelaksanaan PkM pemanfaatan e-book kepada siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Pabelan dan SMK Kanaan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap e-book yang ditandai dengan persentase indikator ketercapaian memahami e-book (93%), mengunduh e-book (51%), dan menggunakan e-book (80%). Tanggapan positif dari siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Pabelan dan SMK Kanaan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini tergolong sangat baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari indikator kehadiran peserta PkM mencapai 98% dari target dan selama kegiatan berlangsung peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir kegiatan.

Abstract

This community service aims to make students able to do health literacy using media likes. The results of this training are that media likes can increase students 'understanding of health literacy by an average of 92.17%, namely students' understanding of health literacy increased by 35.87% (originally 64.13% to 100%), student empowerment in sorting information health increased by 36.74% (originally 46.75% to 83.49%), students' understanding of media likes increased by 56.24% (from 37.52 to 93.76%) and the use of media likes increased by 55.53% (from 35.91 to 91.44%). Media likes contain tips and tricks for doing health literacy, so they can sort out the right information. The results of the health literacy training activities can be said to be successful in the excellent category. Increased knowledge for training participants about health awareness, as well as sorting out health information circulating in the community.

Abstract

The SETS vision dakon game is a form of traditional game combined with a learning process by linking science, environment, technology, and society. With the SETS vision dakon game, it is hoped that teachers will be able to instill character values ​​during distance learning because this game can be done at home. The method used is community development through the following stages: 1) preparation; 2) introduction; 3) implementation; 4) monitoring; and 5) evaluation. The results of this PkM show that the character values ​​that have been embedded in the sixth grade students of SDN Susukan are 1) honest as much as 90.9% in the very good category, 2) intelligent as much as 63.6% in the good category, 3) fair as much as 77, 2% in good category, 4) cooperation as much as 86.3% in very good category, 5) firm as much as 68.1% in good category, 6) imagination as much as 59% with good enough category, 7) ambitious as much as 100% with very good category, 8) brave as much as 81.8% with very good category, and 9) attention as much as 86.3% with very good category.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Buzz Group discussion method on improving the collaboration ability of elementary school students. The research design was a quasi experiment, non equivalent control group design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling and obtained class V SD Negeri Muncar 01 as the experimental class and SD Negeri Muncar 02 as the control class. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample T-test, simple linear regression test, and paired sample T-test. The results showed: 1) There were differences in the use of the large group method and the buzz group discussion, this was evidenced by the independent sample T-test with a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.00 <0.05, 2) There was an influence on the use of the buzz discussion method. groups towards increasing the ability of student cooperation, this is evidenced by a simple linear regression test with a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.44 <0.05, and 3) There is an increase in students' cooperation abilities, this is evidenced by the paired sample T-test. Test with a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.00 <0.05 after using the buzz group discussion method. Keywords: Buzz group discussion, cooperation skills

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mind mapping-assisted problem solving learning model on the understanding of energy concepts in fourth grade students of SDN 02 Sukorejo. This study uses a quantitative approach, experimental method with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The results showed that there was an average difference in students' conceptual understanding ability between the control class and the experimental class, which was seen from the t count > t table = 2,440 > 2,009 with a sig. (2-tailed) is 0.018 where this value is <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. There is an effect of mind mapping-assisted problem solving learning model on students' conceptual understanding, seen from F count = 6.099 with a significance level of 0.021 < 0.05, the results of the regression test value R2 = 0.212 = 21.2%, then this regression model can affect the participation variable. So it can be concluded that there is an influence between the problem solving learning model assisted mind mapping on the understanding concepts class IV.

Abstract

Community service activities performed in PKK Payungan Village, Kaliwungu District Semarang Regency help to parents understand educational games android decent child consumed. Educational games to support cognitive development of children so that parents must understand the various types of educational game applications, how to choose the right educational game, and how to install on the phone The implementation method used was presentation, demonstration, practice, brainstorming, and sharing about educational game to PKK Payungan Village. This activity is done through three stages: 1) socialization, 2) mentoring, 3) monitoring and evaluation.The results of the implementation of this activity was : 1) understanding educational games android as supporting the cognitive development of children in very good category. This is indicated by the percentage of achievement indicators of educational games (96%), choosing educational games (89%), installing educational games (93%), and implementing educational games (86%); 2) get positive response seen from indicator attendance reaches 93% of target and enthusiastic participant during activity from beginning to end of activity. The final goal of the introduction of educational games was IT literacy parent so as to be able to monitor their children in using mobile phones especially when playing games. Â
