Abstract

Enhancing firm value is a primary objective for every business entity as it reflects sound financial performance and attracts investor interest. However, understanding the internal financial factors that consistently influence firm value, particularly in the telecommunications sector, remains limited. This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of profitability, leverage, and liquidity on firm value in the telecommunications sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. A quantitative method was employed with descriptive and associative approaches, using secondary data from annual financial reports obtained from the official IDX website. The research sample was selected through purposive sampling, involving 20 companies over four years, resulting in 80 observation units. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS version 25 software. The results show that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value, leverage has a significant negative effect, while liquidity does not have a significant effect. These findings suggest that in the telecommunications sector, profitability and capital structure play a more crucial role in enhancing firm value compared to liquidity. The implications point to the need for management to focus more on strategies to increase profitability and manage capital structure to maximize firm value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh struktur modal (DER) dan total asset turnover pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2017-2023. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia akhir Tahun 2023. Dari populasi sebanyak 218 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia diperoleh 36 perusahaan sebagai sampel dengan periode pengamatan selama tujuh tahun (2017-2023). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi data panel dengan bantuan program Eviews12. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa struktur modal (DER) tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan dan Total asset turnover berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan.

Abstract

Organizational commitment is crucial to enhancing the performance of employees and the efficiency of the institutions of the public sector. Nevertheless, the issues of low engagement, lack of participation, and motivation remain problematic to many government organizations. These concerns underscore the need to explore psychological and structural aspects that determine the development of attachment by employees towards their place of work. This paper explores how employee empowerment, self  efficacy and perceived organizational support affect organizational commitment in a local government organization. The quantitative method was employed to collect data on 78 employees via a structured questionnaire and to analyze it with the help of the multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that organizational commitment is significantly enhanced with the empowerment of employees and self  efficacy, whereas organizational support positively though not very strong. The three variables combined can account 66.7% of organizational commitment variance. The results highlight the necessity to tighten the participatory working conditions, build trust in the employees to use their skills, and develop better support systems within organizations. Such implication give recommendations to leaders in the public sector who want to ensure that they have a more committed, motivated, and resilient workforce

Abstract

This study looks at how colleague support affects Organisational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) among nurses at RSUD Embung Fatimah, Batam, with an emphasis on the mediating functions of work motivation and job satisfaction.  With job satisfaction and motivation at work acting as mediators, the goal is to investigate the relationship between colleague support and OCB.  The study employed a quantitative methodology and an explanatory research design, with 146 nurses chosen by stratified random sampling.  SEM-PLS, or structural equation modeling-partial least squares, was used to analyse the data after it was gathered through the use of standardised questionnaires.  Job satisfaction strongly mediates the association between coworker support and OCB, according to the results, which also suggest that coworker support has a favourable impact on work motivation and job satisfaction.  However, OCB is neither directly impacted by nor mediates the relationship with job motivation.  In order to promote behaviours that increase organisational success, these findings highlight the need of establishing a supportive work environment.  To improve nurse service quality, hospital administration should concentrate on creating a collaborative culture

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, motivation, and leadership style on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires to 50 respondents. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the help of statistical tests. The results of the study indicate that partially competence has a significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value of 2.87> t table 2.01 and a significance value of 0.006 <0.05. Motivation also has a significant effect with a calculated t value of 3.12> 2.01 and a significance of 0.003 <0.05. Leadership style has a significant effect with a calculated t value of 2.65> 2.01 and a significance of 0.011 <0.05. Simultaneously, competence, motivation, and leadership style have a significant effect on employee performance with a calculated F value of 18.45> F table 2.80 and a significance of 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.68 indicates that 68% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 32% is influenced by factors outside the study. The conclusion of this study indicates that competence, motivation, and leadership style have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, thus requiring primary attention in efforts to improve organizational performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional, Kepercayaan Organisasi, dan Fleksibilitas Kerja terhadap Inovasi pada pegawai Bank Indonesia Sumatera Barat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei terhadap 58 pegawai dan analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan SPSS 26.0, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap inovasi. Kecerdasan Emosional memberikan pengaruh terbesar dengan koefisien regresi 0,581, diikuti oleh Kepercayaan Organisasi sebesar 0,452 dan Fleksibilitas Kerja sebesar 0,197. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut mampu menjelaskan 59,2% variasi inovasi pegawai, sementara sisanya 40,8% dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan aspek emosional, peningkatan rasa percaya terhadap organisasi, serta penerapan sistem kerja yang lebih fleksibel dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif bagi munculnya ide-ide baru. Oleh karena itu, manajemen Bank Indonesia Sumatera Barat disarankan untuk terus memperkuat ketiga aspek tersebut guna meningkatkan kreativitas dan daya saing organisasi secara berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Kepercayaan Organisasi, Fleksibilitas Kerja, Inovasi

Abstract

The success or failure of the world of education in achieving educational goals depends on the quality of teacher performance. Suboptimal teacher performance is influenced by professional ability, adequate compensation support, and high work motivation. This study aims to identify the direct and indirect effects of competence and compensation on teacher performance through work motivation as an intermediary variable. The research method used was quantitative with a population of 55 people, while the sampling technique applied was total sampling. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature reviews. Data were analyzed with SEM-PLS using the SmartPLS 4 application. The results of the study showed that competence had a positive effect but was not able to directly improve teacher performance. However, competence was proven to be able to significantly increase teacher work motivation. In addition, compensation had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance and work motivation. Work motivation was also shown to have a positive and significant effect on improving teacher performance. The results of the study further showed that work motivation was able to mediate the influence of competence and compensation on teacher performance, making motivation an important factor in optimally improving the quality of teacher performance.
