Abstract

Changes in the pattern of public information consumption in the digital era have brought about major transformations in the field of journalism. With easier access to information through various digital platforms and social media, people increasingly rely on mobile devices to get news quickly and instantly. This requires traditional media to adapt to new business models that are more oriented to audience needs and utilize the potential of data analysis to optimize content distribution. Digital journalism has emerged in response to these changes, offering a more interactive and engaging way of presenting news through the use of multimedia. However, there is a major challenge in maintaining the integrity and credibility of the news amid the rapid flow of information that is sometimes unverified. In facing this challenge, it remains important for journalists and media institutions to uphold the principles of ethics and professionalism in news reporting. Thus, the digital era provides opportunities as well as challenges for the world of journalism, requiring various parties to continue to innovate and prioritize the quality and accuracy of information presented to the public. Digital literacy and continuous training are crucial so that journalists and the public can adapt to the changes that occur, and still have access to credible and trustworthy information.

Abstract

Post-conflict community development demands communication strategies capable of bridging social divisions, restoring trust, and strengthening social cohesion in vulnerable environments. This study aims to analyze the role of development communication in facilitating inclusive dialogue, disseminating accurate information, and fostering community participation in the reconciliation process. Using a qualitative approach through document analysis, in-depth interviews, and case studies in several post-conflict areas, this study identifies the most effective communication mechanisms for rebuilding damaged social relations. The results indicate that development communication serves as a crucial medium for building a shared narrative, reducing intergroup tensions, and fostering mutual trust through transparency and public participation. Strategies that integrate local media, facilitate intergroup dialogue, and strengthen the capacity of community actors have been shown to increase community involvement in the recovery process. Furthermore, the use of modern communication technology accelerates information distribution and expands safe spaces for interaction for previously marginalized groups.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of social media on consumer purchase decisions, focusing on how platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter shape consumer behaviour and perceptions. Social media provides quick and broad access to product reviews, recommendations and direct interaction with brands, which further influences purchase decisions. The role of influencers and paid content on social media is also an important factor in shaping consumer preferences and loyalty. However, challenges arise in the form of subjective and sometimes misleading information, which can cloud the decision-making process. Therefore, an effective marketing strategy on social media should emphasise openness and honesty, while consumers should be more critical in filtering information.

Abstract

Border regions are currently entering a new paradigm of regional development. As a region that emerged as a result of globalization and policy decentralization, there has been a shift in the security paradigm towards prosperity. Characteristics that are different from other regions (immobility of production factors, transaction costs and delays, different economic systems, institutional issues, zoning and the role of the informal sector) encourage the economic function of the region on the internal and external side. The economic perspective in border areas tends to improve along with this paradigm change. Facing the challenges of economic development involves identifying the main problems that affect economic growth and progress, as well as formulating appropriate strategies and policies to overcome these problems. This involves cooperation between government, the private sector, civil society, and international institutions to achieve sustainable economic development. The economic development strategy for border areas is related to efforts to stimulate economic growth. This strategy supports existing policies and includes planning strategies in the medium and long term. These strategies include: encouraging conducive and operational regulations in the field of economic development in border areas, compiling a road map for effective and operational spatial planning, improvising infrastructure development that is responsive to needs (hard & soft infrastructure), increasing the role of leading sectors and encouraging sectors others in growth, increasing attention to the sustainability of development and development of Human Resources, facilitating internal and external trade.
