Abstract

Problem solving is one of the abilities that must be mastered by elementary school students, especially regarding learning to count. So the authors apply the problem solving learning model using adventure board media to determine the influence in dealing with this problem solving ability. This research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is an experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of VA and VB grades at SDN Ungaran 01. Data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t test. The results showed that there were differences in the application of problem solving learning models to problem solving abilities using adventure board media in mathematics learning for fifth grade students. This was proven by the significance level which showed a sig count value of 0.002 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the problem solving learning model using adventure board media can provide changes in improving students' problem solving abilities.Pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya mengenai pembelajaran berhitung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh dalam menangani kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk ¬nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA dan VB SDN Ungaran 01. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan dalam penerapan model pembelajaran problem solving terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah menggunakan media papan petualangan pada pembelajaran matematis siswa kelas V. Hal ini terbukti dengan taraf signifikasi yang menunjukkan nilai sig hitung 0,002 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem solving menggunakan media papan petualangan dapat memberikan perubahan peningkatan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ditujukan kepada kalangan guru dan mahasiswa di Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Masalah yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan ini adalah guru dan mahasiswa yang belum memiliki pengetahuan mengenai substansi artikel ilmiah, belum mengetahui etika dan tata bahasa penulisan artikel ilmiah, dan publikasi artikel ilmiah ke dalam jurnal terindeks Sinta. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah menulis artikel ilmiah sampai tahap publikasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan menyusun artikel ilmiah, serta evaluasi. Hasil dari pelatihan ini peserta telah mengalami penigkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman dengan rata-rata 91%, yang meliputi pengetahuan mengenai substansi artikel ilmiah 95%, mengetahui etika dan tata bahasa penulisan artikel ilmiah 90%, dan publikasi artikel ilmiah ke dalam jurnal terindeks Sinta 88%. Dengan demikian, hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan penyusunan artikel ilmiah sampai tahap publikasi ke dalam jurnal terindeks Sinta dikatakan berhasil dengan kategori sangat baik. Adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberi pengetahuan baru dan membangkitkan semangat bagi guru dan mahasiswa untuk lebih kreatif dalam menulis artikel ilmiah.

Abstract

The SETS vision dakon game is a form of traditional game combined with a learning process by linking science, environment, technology, and society. With the SETS vision dakon game, it is hoped that teachers will be able to instill character values ​​during distance learning because this game can be done at home. The method used is community development through the following stages: 1) preparation; 2) introduction; 3) implementation; 4) monitoring; and 5) evaluation. The results of this PkM show that the character values ​​that have been embedded in the sixth grade students of SDN Susukan are 1) honest as much as 90.9% in the very good category, 2) intelligent as much as 63.6% in the good category, 3) fair as much as 77, 2% in good category, 4) cooperation as much as 86.3% in very good category, 5) firm as much as 68.1% in good category, 6) imagination as much as 59% with good enough category, 7) ambitious as much as 100% with very good category, 8) brave as much as 81.8% with very good category, and 9) attention as much as 86.3% with very good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the flip chart-assisted TAI type learning model on social care attitudes and responsibilities of third grade elementary school students at SDN Harjosari 01 Bawen. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental method, namely Quasi Experimental Design with the form of a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all third grade students at SDN Harjosari 01 Bawen. As for the sample in this study were students in class III A and students in class III B SDN Harjosari 01 Bawen. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, unstructured interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Independent Sample T-Test and Simple Linear Regression Test. The results of this study indicate that: 1) There are differences in the use of flip chart-assisted TAI-type learning models for students' social care attitudes, which can be seen from the results of the Independent Sample T-Test and the obtained t count > t table (3.353 > 2.016) with the sig-(2-tailed) value is 0.002 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) There is a difference in the use of the flip chart-assisted TAI type learning model for the attitude of student responsibility, which can be seen from the results of the Independent Sample T-Test and the obtained t count > t table (2.427 > 2.016) with a sig-(2- tailed) ie 0.019 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 3) There is an effect of using the flip chart-assisted TAI type learning model on students' social care attitudes, which can be seen from the results of the Simple Linear Regression Test and a significance level of 0.002 <0.05 is obtained with a percentage R Square value of 0.207 = 20.7% , then this regression model can affect the participation variable. 4) There is an effect of using the TAI type learning model assisted by flip charts on the attitude of student responsibility, which can be seen from the results of the Simple Linear Regression Test and a significance level of 0.002 <0.05 is obtained with a percentage R Square value of 0.120 = 12%, then This regression model can affect the participation variable. So it can be concluded that the flip chart-assisted TAI type learning model has an effect on social care attitudes and responsibilities of Class III Elementary School students at SDN Harjosari 01 Bawen.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan Media Video interaktif memberikan suatu permasalahan dengan banyak penyelesaian .Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media Video Interaktif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas II SD IT Cahaya Ummat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasy eksperiment dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian disusun berupa tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui Independent Sample t-Test dan regresi linier sederhana berbantuan program SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep antara kelas yang diterapkan dan yang  tidak diterapkan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media Video Interaktif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas II SD IT Cahaya Ummat. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui hasil pengujian independen sample t-test dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,003 < 0,05; (2) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media Video Interaktif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas II SD IT Cahaya Ummat. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui hasil pengujian regresi linier sederhana dengan nilai thitung sebesar 3,334 dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,003 (Sig. < 0,05). Hasil penelitian ini memberikan dasar untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam konteks pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan inovatif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar  siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to prove the effectiveness of the use of Tapertis Media towards the 4 graders of Elementary Schools’ multiplication concept understanding. The type of this research is experimental research. Using the intact-group comparison type of pre-experimental design. With 9 students as the sample of this research. Using purposive sampling technique. The methods used were the multiplication concept understanding test, observation, and documentation. Using validity of media expert, validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, paired sample T-Test, and regression test for the data analysis. The result showed that Jarimatika with Tapertis media has effectiveness in improving the 4 graders elementary schools’ multiplication concept understanding. The result of paired T-Test showed the significance level of < 0.05 is 0.00 < 0.05, then 𝐻𝑎 is accepted. The result of T-test showed that the average of learning achievement of the experimental class was higher than the average of the learning achievement of the control class, and the significance level was < 0.05, then 𝐻𝑎 is accepted. The result of regression test showed that significance value of pre-reading skills is 0.038 where the value is less than 0.05, therefore, the hypothesis is accepted. The data of the multiplication concept understanding value also showed that the learning average of the experimental class was greater than the control class. The data analysis result showed that Jarimatika with Tapertis media has effectiveness in improving the students’ multiplication concept understanding.

Abstract

Lack of students' skills in writing and speaking when learning Indonesian. The reciprocal teaching model is an alternative to increase students' effectiveness in writing and speaking in more optimal Indonesian language learning. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in the effectiveness of Indonesian language learning by implementing the reciprocal teaching model. The research was carried out using a quasi-experimental design with descriptive analysis techniques, normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The research location was carried out at SD Hj. Isriati Moenadi Ungaran, Semarang with the research sample involving 36 students of class V Imam Bonjol as the experimental class and 36 students of V Kartini as the control class. The average score for speaking skills in Indonesian language learning for experimental class students, which was initially 53.58 after treatment using the reciprocal teaching model, increased to 85.69. The results of the paired sample t test also showed a significance value (Sig.) of 0.001 < 0.05. Based on the results of this research, it proves that there has been an increase in speaking skills in Indonesian language learning, and it can be said that the reciprocal teaching model is effective in improving speaking skills in Indonesian language learning for fifth grade students at Hj Elementary School. Abstract

This research aims to find out how science learning is implemented by applying the Problem-Solving Model assisted by Crossword Puzzle media in improving the quality of student learning at SDN Bandungan 01. The methodology used is quantitative and in the form of an experiment, namely quasi-experimental with the type of field study. Data collection techniques use population and sample techniques. And the data analysis technique used in this research is a data collection technique that uses a test technique of score results from the pretest and posttest. With concrete or real media, it is easy for students to find solutions to the problems given. The effort used to improve students' concept understanding is to apply a problem-solving learning model with the help of Crossword Puzzle media which will be collaborated with science and science learning materials. The conclusion of this research is that it can be concluded that the use of the problem solving model assisted by crossword puzzle media makes a significant contribution in increasing the conceptual understanding of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Bandungan 01.

Abstract

The importance of mathematics in everyday life is the reason students are expected to understand and be able to apply the mathematics learning they have received at school. One of the abilities in mathematics is problem-solving ability. Abstract mathematics requires concrete learning media so that it is more acceptable to students in elementary schools during learning. The media that is currently frequently used is IT-based learning media. One is augmented reality, which integrates two-dimensional media into three dimensions. This research tests whether increased reality-based learning media can improve problem-solving abilities. The data analysis used is the normality test, paired sample t-test, and normalized gain test. The research results show that augmented reality-based learning media can improve students' problem-solving abilities

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) To determine the difference in students' beginning reading skills through the Problem-based learning model with the Whole word method approach of grade I elementary school students. (2) To determine the effect of the Problem-based learning model with the Whole word method approach on the beginning reading skills of grade I elementary school students. The population was all first grade students of SD Kristen Bandarjo and SD Wujud Kasih Ungaran. Sampling in research using Non Probability Sampling technique. The results of the research 1) There is a difference in students' beginning reading skills through the problem-based learning model with the whole word method approach to grade I elementary school students. evidenced in the form of the results of the Independent Sample T-Test Test with the level of value obtained significance less than 0.05, namely 0.035 <0.05. So that there is a significant difference between the learning groups. So that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control class study groups, where the average value for the experimental class is 91.15 greater than the control class average of 85.55. 2) There is an effect of using problem-based learning with the whole word method approach as evidenced by the results of the simple Linear Regression Test with a significance value of less than 0.05, namely 0.035 <0.05. So that on the variable of beginning reading skills it is concluded that there is an effect of problem-based learning with the whole word method approach because the mean of the intervention variable is higher by 14.08.
