Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pendayagunaan koleksi perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SDN Pasirangin Kabupaten Sukabumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data tentang: 1) Cara pendayagunaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran; 2) Manfaat pendayagunaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran; 3) Upaya yang dilakukan pustakawan, guru, dan kepala sekolah dalam memotivasi pendayagunaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran; 4) Hambatan pendayagunaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pustakawan, guru dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada dasarnya sumber informasi telah tersedia di perpustakaan tinggal didayagunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan, bahwa pendayagunaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah sangatlah penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, meningkatkan pemberdayaan sumber belajar, meningkatkan proses layanan pembelajaran di dalam dan di luar kelas.   ABSTRACT  The problem in this research is the untilization of the school library collections in improving the quality of learning in SDN Pasirangin. The aim of this study was to obtain data on: 1) How to the untilization of the school library collections in improving the quality of learning; 2) The benefits of the utilization of the school library collections in improving the quality of learning; 3) The efforts of librarians, teachers, and principals to motivate utilization of school library collections in improving the quality of learning; 4) Barriers utilization of the school library collections in improving the quality of learning. The method used in this study is a case study research method with a qualitative approach. Data Sources This study is librarians, teachers and principals. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that basically the resources already available in the library stayed utilized to improve the quality of learning. Overall it can be concluded that the utilization of the school library collections is crucial in improving the quality of learning, enhancing the empowerment of learning resources, improve the process of service-learning in the classroom and outside the classroom.

Abstract

This study is to determine the implementation of preservation activities in the Ajip Rosidi Library in terms of how to save the value of information, how to save the physical form of Sundanese literature collections that are owned, and the obstacles faced in implementing the preservation of Sundanese literature collections. The method used in this research is descriptive research method. with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation study. There are two informants in this study. The results show that in order to save the value of the collection information, the library has converted the 200-year-old Sundanese Literature collection into microfilm or microfish which later, due to technological developments, was converted into CDs and hard drives. In saving the physical form of the collection, librarians carry out activities of mending, binding, giving silica gell, cleaning manually, and making policies in the form of library regulations. As for the obstacles experienced during the implementation of preservation of Sundanese Literature collection, namely related to human resource factors, funding factors, and environmental factors.Keywords: preservation; sundanese literature collection; ajip rosidi libraryABSTRAKPenelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan pelestarian di Perpustakaan Ajip Rosidi dilihat dari cara menyelamatkan nilai informasi, cara menyelamatkan bentuk fisik koleksi sastra sunda yang dimiliki, dan hambatan yang dihadapi dalam melaksanakan pelestarian koleksi sastra sunda.. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara serta studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menyelamatkan nilai informasi koleksi, maka perpustakaan mengalih bentukkan koleksi Sastra Sunda yang memiliki umur 200 tahun kedalam bentuk microfilm atau microfish yang kemudian karena perkembangan teknologi diubah dalam bentuk CD dan hardisk. Dalam menyelamatkan bentu fisik koleksi, maka pustakawan melakukan kegiatan mending, penjilidan, pemberian silica gell, membersihkan secara manual, dan membuat kebijakkan berupa peraturan perpustakaan. Adapun hambatan yang dialami pada saat pelaksanaan pelestarian koleksi Sastra Sunda, yaitu berkaitan dengan faktor sumber daya manusia, faktor pendanaan, dan faktor lingkungan.

Abstract

This study discusses the Information Seeking Behavior of Goldenness in DKI Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the information behavior of DKI Jakarta's Goldenness information as well as obstacles in finding information about the Golden Child. The theory of search behavior used is Wilson's theory, according to Wilson, information-seeking behavior is influenced by five factors, namely, psychological conditions, demographics, a person's role in society, the environment, and the characteristics of information sources. Using qualitative research methods, this type of research is a case study of five informants with different backgrounds and ages. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and document review. Data analysis techniques using Milez and Huberman, and test the validity of the data through triangulation. The results showed that (1) Psychological condition factors were able to influence the feeling of Goldenness to be Happy when searching for information. Information that also affects their emotions so that they can feel sad and happy. (2) Demographic factors indicate if there are differences in work background that affect the intensity and time of Golden in seeking information; (3) The role of a person in the community also influences the information-seeking behavior of Goldenness. Goldenness who is an admin will often look for information about Golden Child so that it is always updated so that it can redistribute the information obtained to other Goldennesses; (4) The environmental factors surrounding the Gold determine the sources and types of information used in seeking the information they want; (5) The characteristic factor of information sources also influences the form and type of information media used in Goldenness' information-seeking behavior. Goldenness prefers to use digital information sources such as Twitter. The individual barriers that Goldenness experience is their mastery of the Korean language and their skills in keywords to acquire the ones that suit their needs. Barriers to environmental factors are due to the activities they have to do and the lack of available information sources that provide information on Golden Child.Keywords: information-seeking behavior, K-Popers community, Wilson theory, Goldenness ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas mengenai Perilaku Pencarian Informasi Goldenness yang berada di DKI Jakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku pencarian informasi Goldenness DKI Jakarta serta hambatan dalam pencarian informasi mengenai Golden Child. Teori perilaku pencarian informasi yang digunakan adalah teori Wilson, menurut Wilson perilaku pencarian informasi di pengaruhi oleh lima faktor yaitu, kondisi psikologi, demografi, peran seseorang di masyarakat, lingkungan, serta karakteristik sumber informasi. Menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif, jenis penelitian studi kasus terhadap lima informan dengan latar belakang dan usia yang berbeda. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan kajian dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Milez dan Huberman, dan uji keabsahan data melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Faktor kondisi psikologi ternyata dapat mempengaruhi perasaan Goldenness menjadi Bahagia ketika melakukan pencarian informasi. Informasi yang ditemukan juga mampu mempengaruhi emosional mereka sehingga mereka bisa merasa sedih dan bahagia.  (2) Faktor demografis menunjukkan jika adanya perbedaan latar belakang pekerjaan mempengaruhi intensitas dan lamanya waktu Goldenness dalam mencari informasi; (3) Faktor peran seseorang dimasyarakat juga memepengaruhi perilaku pencarian informasi Goldenness. Goldenness yang menjadi seorang admin akan lebih sering mencari informasi mengenai Golden Childagar selalu update, sehingga bisa menyebarkan kembali informasi yang di dapat ke Goldenness lainnya; (4) Faktor lingkungan di sekitar Goldenness menentukan sumber dan jenis informasi yang digunakan dalam mencari informasi yang mereka butuhkan; (5) Faktor karakteristik sumber informasi juga memepengaruhi bentuk dan jenis media informasi yang digunakan dalam perilaku pencarian informasi Goldenness. Goldenness lebih suka menggunakan sumber informasi digital berupa twitter. Hambatan individu yang dialami Goldenness adalah kurangnya penguasaan Bahasa Korea dan keterampilan mereka dalam menggunakan kata kunci untuk memperoleh informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Hambatan pada faktor lingkungan dikarenakan adanya kegiatan yang harus mereka lakukan dan masih sedikitnya ketersediaan sumber informasi yang menyediakan informasi Golden Child.

Abstract

Library automation is one solution that can be used by libraries during the development of today's technology. There are many library automation software that can be used to support all library activities and library staff in carrying out their work effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the competence of library staff in the processing of library materials in cataloging by utilizing the INLIS Lite application in terms of knowledge, skills, behavior / work attitudes and obstacles in the Bandung Regency Archives and Library Service. This study uses social cognitive theory which is related to social learning theory. In this study using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques in this study were through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results obtained in this study indicate that the competence of the library staff in the processing of library materials in cataloging by utilizing the INLIS Lite application from the aspect of knowledge, skills and behavior/work attitude can be said to be good.Keywords: social cognitive theory, competence, librarians, INLIS Lite applicationAutomasi perpustakaan merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan oleh perpustakaan dimasa perkembangan teknologi teknologi masa kini. Banyaknya software automasi perpustakaan yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjang segala kegiatan perpustakaan dan tenaga perpustakaan dalam melakukan pekerjaannya secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi tenaga perpustakaan bagian pengolahan bahan pustaka dalam pengkatalogan dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi INLISLite yang ditinjau dari aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, perilaku/ sikap kerja dan hambatan yang ada di Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori social cognitive theory yang berkaitan dengan teori belajar sosial. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini ialah melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi tenaga perpustakaan bagian pengolahan bahan pustaka dalam pengkatalogan dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi INLIS Lite dari aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan perilaku/ sikap kerja dapat dikatakan baik.

Abstract

In 2018 General election, generation Z called as first-time voter who will use their right to vote. Statistic data of the 2018’s General Election Commission indicates that first-time voter in West Java Province reaching 30% of the total voters. This research described information seeking behavior among generation Z on West Java Governor Election. The purposed of this research are to identify characteristic of information needs among Z generation, identify information source used and information awareness among Z generation. This research uses qualitative approach and case study method. There are five high school students become informants in this research and uses purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study are characteristic of information needs Z generation on aspects of the context including election procedure, profile of governor candidates, campaign activities, programs offered. The frequency of information needs tends to be low and unpredictable. Information sources tend to use online sources through social media and online mass media but they also get other information from television, newspaper, sharing with friends, parents and family; In the aspect of awareness or understanding of information resources, familiarity and prior success, information packaging, cost and accessibility affects information seeking behavior of Z generation but they have obstacle to assess the quality of information. This makes Z generation easily accept hoax information or provoked on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter.

Abstract

The phenomenon of low scientific literacy among early childhood learners, particularly in inclusive educational institutions, indicates a gap between policy and classroom practice. Children with special needs often experience limited access to adaptive science learning, even though scientific literacy skills are essential for developing reasoning and problem-solving abilities in daily life. This study aims to analyze teachers’ strategies for developing scientific literacy among children with special needs in inclusive early childhood education and to identify the challenges and solutions implemented by teachers at Ibnu Sina Islamic Kindergarten in Bandung Regency. The study employed a qualitative case study design, using in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of learning documents. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, with validity ensured through triangulation and member checking. The findings reveal that teachers applied differentiated instruction, interpersonal communication, and the use of visual media, simple technology, and the surrounding environment as a natural laboratory. Collaboration among classroom teachers, special education teachers, parents, and the principal emerged as a key factor for success. The main challenges included limited resources, pedagogical competence, and the lack of specialized training in scientific literacy for children with special needs. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of enhancing teacher training, strengthening systemic support, and fostering school–family partnerships to achieve sustainable, inclusive science education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Preservasi Bahan Koleksi Textbook untuk Kenyamanan Pemustaka di Perpustakaan Sekolah.” Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan hambatan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan preservasi yang dilakukan oleh SMK Negeri 13 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, telaah dokumen, dan pengamatan langsung terhadap koleksi buku teks di SMK Negeri 13 Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua informan yang merupakan pejabat struktural sekaligus penanggung jawab perpustakaan. Berdasarkan temuan, kegiatan preservasi di perpustakaan SMK Negeri 13 Bandung belum pernah dilaksanakan secara khusus. Upaya yang dilakukan hanya mencakup pemberian sampul plastik pada sebagian buku paket (bukan buku teks), pengaturan lokasi penyimpanan koleksi, pengendalian suhu ruangan, serta penyesuaian pencahayaan. Adapun hambatan yang menyebabkan kegiatan preservasi belum dapat dilakukan secara optimal meliputi kurangnya pustakawan profesional, keterbatasan alat preservasi, minimnya anggaran, serta tidak tersedianya ruang khusus untuk kegiatan preservasi.
