Abstract

Era digitalisasi membuat pemanfaatan aplikasi keuangan meningkat karna dapat berkontribusi bagi pengembangan bisnis UMKM terutama dari aspek keuangan. Para pegiat UMKM sejatinya bisa mempergunakan kemajuan teknologi keuangan untuk pembiayaan dan penguatan modal bisnis. Akan tetapi minimnya literasi keuangan membuat para pegiat UMKM terutama berbasis digital tidak bisa mempergunakan layanan keuangan digital dengan baik. Rendahnya literasi keuangan dapat berdampak negatif bagi UMKM. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat di Kecamatan Manggala Kota Makassar, Tim pengabdian telah memberikan pendampingan tentang Penguatan literasi keuangan bagi pegiat UMKM dan masyarakat di Kecamatan Manggala. Dari hasil kegiatan ini diketahui bahwa program ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep dan prinsip keuangan, kemampuan mengelola keuangan usaha dengan baik, akses terhadap produk dan layanan keuangan, serta profitabilitas dan daya saing usaha. Bagi masyarakat Kecamatan Manggala dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan, memperkuat ekonomi lokal, dan meningkatkan inklusi keuangan. Sementara itu, bagi perekonomian, program ini juga dapat menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan baru, dan meningkatkan stabilitas sistem keuangan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of profitability on firm value in the mining sector and to evaluate whether CSR disclosure moderates this relationship. This research uses a quantitative method with a causal approach, Secondary data used in this study were obtained from financial reports of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2023. The study population consists of 28 companies in the Metal and Components sub-sector listed on the IDX. From this population, 18 companies were selected as samples, with data taken from the period 2016 to 2022. Data analysis shows that ROA has a significant positive impact on firm value, with a coefficient of 4.502 and a significance value of 0.003, confirming that profitability is an important factor in increasing firm value. However, CSR produced results contrary to the initial hypothesis. This indicates that CSR does not strengthen the positive effect of ROA on firm value but rather reduces it. The findings of this study provide new insights into the complexity of the relationship between profitability and firm value in the context of CSR and challenge the common understanding that CSR always enhances the positive impact of profitability on firm value.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Financial Literacy and Financial Self Efficacy on Online Shopping Behavior in Makassar City (Case Study: Cash On Delivery among Shopee e-commerce users). This research is research that uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were Shopee users who used COD payments more than once. The sample in this study consisted of 100 respondents using the formula Hair et al. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used in this research are validity and reliability tests, as well as normality tests, multicollinearity tests and heteroscedasticity tests as prerequisites for classical assumption tests. And the data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis with the R2 test, t test, and F test. It is then processed using computer equipment via the IBM SPSS version 23.0 program. The results of this research show that financial literacy has an influence on online shopping behavior. Financial self-efficacy has no influence on online shopping behavior. And financial literacy and financial self-efficacy simultaneously or together have a significant effect on online shopping behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of reward and punishment on employee performance at CV. Premium Indonesian Snacks. The informants in this research were all CV employees. Premium Nusantara snacks with a sample of 49 people. In determining the sample the author uses a saturated sample, that is, if all members are included as a sample. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, questionnaires and interviews. The analytical assistance method used is simple linear regression with SPSS 20. The results of this research show that Reward and Punishment together or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at CV. Premium Indonesian Snacks.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of cash management and inventory management on the financial performance of Ling Food Stores in Makassar City during the 2020-2022 period. The main focus of this research is to evaluate how cash and inventory management contributes to a company's liquidity, profitability and operational efficiency, which are measured through various financial ratios such as Current Ratio, Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Investment (ROI), and Return on Equity (ROE). The research results show that the Current Ratio in 2020 cannot be calculated due to the absence of short-term liabilities, while in 2021 and 2022 each was recorded at 0.095% and 0.216%, reflecting low liquidity. On the other hand, the decrease in Average Inventory from IDR 754,200 in 2021 to IDR 715,000 in 2022, followed by a significant increase in net profit, shows efficiency in inventory management. The increase in GPM, OPM, NPM, ROI, and ROE ratios from 2020 to 2022 reflects significant improvements in financial performance, indicating that more effective cash and inventory management can improve a company's financial health.

Abstract

This study discusses the cultural and religious marketing of Maudu Lompoa in Cikoang, Takalar Regency. This study aims to identify and analyze the relationship between the Maudu Lompoa celebration and social engagement and marketing concepts used in preserving cultural and religious tourism based on local wisdom in Takalar Regency. In addition, this research is also to find out the promotional designs offered to preserve cultural and religious tourism based on local wisdom inTakalar Regency. This research gives the result that Maudu Lompoa's marketing design emphasizes promotion through social engagement as the main target in the promotion. Where there are local wisdom values that are so strong. One of the efforts to optimize the potential for cultural and religious tourism is by implementing a promotional strategy. Promotion is a one-way flow of information or persuasion made to direct a person or the general public to an action that creates an exchange in marketing. Promotion has an important role in tourism development, because promotion is an attempt to communicate tourism potential to the target market.

Abstract

This study explores the role of digital leadership in improving the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through literature review, in-depth interviews with MSME leaders and field observations. The results showed that MSME leaders utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to improve efficiency and competitiveness, despite challenges such as limited resources and resistance to change. Successful strategies include gradual technology adoption, employee training, and external collaboration. In addition, participatory and transformational leadership have proven effective in creating a culture of innovation that supports the digitalization process. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions by highlighting the importance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which is a strategic resource in accelerating the digital transformation of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and economic inequality, exploring policy solutions to mitigate AI's negative impact on inequality. A literature review approach was used, examining relevant studies, reports, and articles on AI’s effects on economic inequality. The findings indicate that AI can exacerbate global economic inequality through two primary mechanisms. First, AI-driven automation replaces low-skilled jobs, leading to higher unemployment among low-skilled workers. Second, reliance on advanced technology is concentrated in countries or groups with sufficient resources, leaving others behind. However, AI also presents opportunities to reduce inequality, especially if applied to sectors like agriculture and education in developing countries, which can foster economic growth. With appropriate policies, AI could drive economic progress while addressing socio-economic inequality. These policies would ensure that AI's benefits are widely accessible, promoting inclusive development rather than deepening disparities. Ultimately, AI has the potential to either widen or narrow economic gaps, depending on how it is integrated into society, underscoring the need for targeted strategies to harness its positive impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi melalui komitmen organisasi pada PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, angket, dan wawancara, serta sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dari 35 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi wirausaha pelaku Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di Kelurahan Manggala, Kota Makassar, khususnya dalam penerapan strategi manajemen sumber daya untuk mendukung kelangsungan dan pengembangan bisnis. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan berbasis edukasi masyarakat, yang meliputi ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang manajemen SDM, dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 35% pada pre-test menjadi 65% pada post-test. Selain itu, peserta memberikan respons positif terhadap materi yang disampaikan, dengan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi dan harapan agar kegiatan serupa dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan PKM berhasil mencapai tujuannya dan memberikan dampak signifikan dalam mendukung pengelolaan bisnis UKM secara lebih efektif.
