Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of cash management and inventory management on the financial performance of Ling Food Stores in Makassar City during the 2020-2022 period. The main focus of this research is to evaluate how cash and inventory management contributes to a company's liquidity, profitability and operational efficiency, which are measured through various financial ratios such as Current Ratio, Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Investment (ROI), and Return on Equity (ROE). The research results show that the Current Ratio in 2020 cannot be calculated due to the absence of short-term liabilities, while in 2021 and 2022 each was recorded at 0.095% and 0.216%, reflecting low liquidity. On the other hand, the decrease in Average Inventory from IDR 754,200 in 2021 to IDR 715,000 in 2022, followed by a significant increase in net profit, shows efficiency in inventory management. The increase in GPM, OPM, NPM, ROI, and ROE ratios from 2020 to 2022 reflects significant improvements in financial performance, indicating that more effective cash and inventory management can improve a company's financial health.

Abstract

This study discusses the cultural and religious marketing of Maudu Lompoa in Cikoang, Takalar Regency. This study aims to identify and analyze the relationship between the Maudu Lompoa celebration and social engagement and marketing concepts used in preserving cultural and religious tourism based on local wisdom in Takalar Regency. In addition, this research is also to find out the promotional designs offered to preserve cultural and religious tourism based on local wisdom inTakalar Regency. This research gives the result that Maudu Lompoa's marketing design emphasizes promotion through social engagement as the main target in the promotion. Where there are local wisdom values that are so strong. One of the efforts to optimize the potential for cultural and religious tourism is by implementing a promotional strategy. Promotion is a one-way flow of information or persuasion made to direct a person or the general public to an action that creates an exchange in marketing. Promotion has an important role in tourism development, because promotion is an attempt to communicate tourism potential to the target market.

Abstract

This study explores the role of digital leadership in improving the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through literature review, in-depth interviews with MSME leaders and field observations. The results showed that MSME leaders utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to improve efficiency and competitiveness, despite challenges such as limited resources and resistance to change. Successful strategies include gradual technology adoption, employee training, and external collaboration. In addition, participatory and transformational leadership have proven effective in creating a culture of innovation that supports the digitalization process. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions by highlighting the importance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which is a strategic resource in accelerating the digital transformation of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and economic inequality, exploring policy solutions to mitigate AI's negative impact on inequality. A literature review approach was used, examining relevant studies, reports, and articles on AI’s effects on economic inequality. The findings indicate that AI can exacerbate global economic inequality through two primary mechanisms. First, AI-driven automation replaces low-skilled jobs, leading to higher unemployment among low-skilled workers. Second, reliance on advanced technology is concentrated in countries or groups with sufficient resources, leaving others behind. However, AI also presents opportunities to reduce inequality, especially if applied to sectors like agriculture and education in developing countries, which can foster economic growth. With appropriate policies, AI could drive economic progress while addressing socio-economic inequality. These policies would ensure that AI's benefits are widely accessible, promoting inclusive development rather than deepening disparities. Ultimately, AI has the potential to either widen or narrow economic gaps, depending on how it is integrated into society, underscoring the need for targeted strategies to harness its positive impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi melalui komitmen organisasi pada PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, angket, dan wawancara, serta sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dari 35 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi wirausaha pelaku Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di Kelurahan Manggala, Kota Makassar, khususnya dalam penerapan strategi manajemen sumber daya untuk mendukung kelangsungan dan pengembangan bisnis. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan berbasis edukasi masyarakat, yang meliputi ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang manajemen SDM, dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 35% pada pre-test menjadi 65% pada post-test. Selain itu, peserta memberikan respons positif terhadap materi yang disampaikan, dengan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi dan harapan agar kegiatan serupa dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan PKM berhasil mencapai tujuannya dan memberikan dampak signifikan dalam mendukung pengelolaan bisnis UKM secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada Masyarakat di desa Bontolojong terkait cara pengolahan kulit buah apel menjadi teh herbal yang memiliki khasiat yang sangat baik bagi Kesehatan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendampingan terhadap Masyarakat dengan cara pendemonstrasian tekhnik kulit apel. Adapun capaian luaran dari dari pengabdian ini ada dua yaitu (1) produk minuman teh herbal yang memiliki banyak khasiat (2) keterampilan mengelola kulit herbal menjadi teh herbal. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, Masyarakat desa Bontolojong sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan tersebut.

Abstract

Pelatihan dan pendampingan literasi Bahasa Inggris ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemahiran berbahasa Inggris masyarakat Kecamatan Manggala melalui pendekatan multimodal yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi Bahasa Inggris peserta, baik secara lisan maupun tulisan, serta melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis yang mendukung peningkatan keterampilan higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). Metode yang digunakan melibatkan strategi pembelajaran berbasis kasus, diskusi interaktif, dan penggunaan media visual seperti modul pembelajaran, kartu bergambar, serta teknologi digital. Pendekatan ini dirancang untuk mengakomodasi gaya belajar individu maupun kelompok, mendorong keterlibatan aktif, dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang positif. Peserta juga dilatih untuk mengintegrasikan elemen verbal dan visual guna memperkuat pemahaman terhadap materi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi Bahasa Inggris peserta, baik dalam pemahaman teks, komunikasi verbal, maupun aplikasi materi dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam mengekspresikan ide-ide mereka secara kreatif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the employee recruitment process and its implications for human resource management (HR). This study uses a qualitative approach based on literature analysis to explore the potential of AI in improving recruitment efficiency and accuracy, while identifying challenges such as algorithmic bias, lack of transparency, and threats to candidate data privacy. The results show that AI can automate various recruitment processes, including candidate screening and evaluation, which significantly saves time and costs. However, the potential for algorithmic bias caused by non-inclusive training data is one of the main obstacles to the fair and ethical implementation of AI. In addition, supportive regulations and policies, such as the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) in Indonesia, play an important role in ensuring the responsible use of AI. These regulations must include personal data protection, transparency, and bias mitigation in AI-based decision making. This study concludes that while AI has great potential to revolutionize recruitment, its implementation requires a careful and strategic approach. Further research is recommended to focus on empirical studies in various organizational contexts, the development of inclusive algorithms, and their impact on candidate experience, in order to create a more holistic and sustainable recruitment system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to have an in-depth analysis of the relationship between Talent Management and Organizational Performance. As well as knowing in detail the role of political skills in the organization. A quantitative approach was used in this study. The data for this study were collected from PT Bank Sulselbar through a survey method via a questionnaire, sampling using porpusive sampling with a total sample of 80 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study uses Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), with tools (SPSS) which will provide clear results using validity and reliability testing, data normality test and classical assumption test. The results are in the positive direction and meet the research objectives, which reveal that there is a positive relationship between talent management and subsequent organizational performance, Political skills moderate the relationship between talent management and organizational performance.
