Abstract

This article was written based on a community service program implemented in an effort to improve the quality of educational facilities at the Hidayatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Mosque. This Islamic boarding school stands on an area of ??1,342 m2 with a built-up area of ??541 m2. The facilities available for learning are still very minimal and the condition of the mosque building is also old with the condition of the building worrying about its safety. As the number of students continues to increase, foundation management really needs to improve adequate educational infrastructure. However, foundation managers have limited expertise in drawing and designing mosque building renovation designs to improve the quality of educational facilities. This community service aims to provide working drawing documents and budget plans for renovation and construction costs as a basis for implementing the construction of educational facilities. The method used is the science and technology diffusion method. The results of the program implementation produced a product document planning the renovation of the mosque at the Hidayatul Qur'an Blitar Islamic Boarding School. This document in the form of an image design complies with applicable standards and is useful in implementing the construction of educational facilities at the Hidayatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School mosque. ABSTRAKNaskah ini ditulis berdasarkan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas sarana pendidikan di Masjid Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Qur’an. Ponpes ini berdiri pada lahan seluas 1.342 m2 dengan luas terbangun seluas 541 m2. Sarana yang tersedia untuk pembelajaran masih sangat minim dan kondisi bangunan masjid juga sudah tua dengan kondisi bangunan yang mengkhawatirkan keamanannya. Seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah santri yang terus meningkat, pengelola yayasan sangat memerlukan perbaikan sarana prasarana pendidikan yang memadai. Namun demikian pengelola yayasan memiliki keterbatasan keahlian dalam menggambar dan merancang desain renovasi bangunan masjid untuk meningkatkan kualitas fasilitas pendidikan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan dokumen gambar kerja dan rencana anggaran biaya renovasi serta pembangunan sebagai dasar untuk pelaksanaan pembangunan fasilitas pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode difusi iptek. Hasil pelaksanaan program menghasilkan sebuah produk dokumen perencanaan renovasi masjid di Ponpes Hidayatul Qur’an Blitar. Dokumen berupa desain gambar ini sesuai standar yang berlaku dan bernanfaat dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan fasilitas pendidikan di masjid Ponpes Hidayatul Qur’an.

Abstract

The cultivation of oyster mushrooms is an activity that can be introduced to early childhood as an effective learning medium. This activity not only familiarizes children with the growth process of oyster mushrooms but also increases their awareness of the importance of the environment and sustainability. At the Experimental Garden Installation of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Palangka Raya, this program is designed to provide a fun and educational learning experience for the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Tiara Az Zahra. Through the introduction of oyster mushroom cultivation, it is expected that children can develop observation skills, knowledge about the life cycle of mushrooms, and awareness of the importance of mushrooms as a nutritious vegetable source in everyday life. Additionally, this activity also aims to bring children closer to the world of science from an early age, as well as teach values of cooperation and responsibility through practical and interactive activities.

Abstract

This service aims to provide solutions in the form of applying aquaponic technology to handle fish pond water waste. Aquaponic technology has the advantage of filtering wastewater to be channeled into vegetable growing media. The implementation method applied is training and assistance in aquaponic installation in the fish ponds of members of Paguyuban Budiarta 7. Aquaponic installation is in the form of installing pipes and water pumps from the fish pond to the vegetable growing media through filter and nutrient reservoirs. The results achieved are the installation of aquaponic systems in fish ponds can reduce the inundation of fish pond water waste, because the pond water is not directly discharged in the fish farming area, but channeled to the vegetable planting media, after being filtered in a water tank filled with charcoal. The results of observations of partner members show that around 90% of association members stated that this community service program provides benefits to increase knowledge and skills in diversifying fish and vegetable products through the aquaponics system. The sustainability of the program is highly expected to train members' expertise in producing energy sources through the use of solar cells, so that the use of electricity to support aquaponic installations can be more efficient and economical.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTanah berkapur memiliki kadar unsur hara yang rendah, sehingga diperlukan amandemen tanah untuk produksi tanaman sayuran. Percobaan ini bertujuan-mendapatkan kombinasi bahan organik dan dosis pupuk NPK optimal untuk produksi kailan di tanah berkapur. Percobaan dilaksanakan dengan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial. Faktor 1 adalah macam bahan organik yaitu: tanah berkapur saja (B0); arang sekam (B1); pupuk kandang sapi (B2); kompos (B3); cocopeat (B4); dan serbuk gergaji (B5). Faktor 2 adalah persentase pupuk NPK dari dosis anjuran yaitu NPK 25% (N1); NPK 50% (N2); NPK 75% (N3); NPK 100% (N4). Data pengamatan dianalisa ragam dan dilakukan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT) taraf 5% jika terdapat pengaruh nyata perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kailan yang ditanam pada media tanah berkapur yang dicampur bahan pupuk kandang sapi dan kompos yang dikombinasikan dengan pupuk NPK dosis 50%, 75% atau 100% serta perlakuan tanpa bahan organik tetapi diberi pupuk NPK 75% atau 100% menghasilkan bobot segar tanaman kailan yang sama beratnya. ABSTRACTCalcareous soil has low nutrient levels, so soil amendments are needed for vegetable crop production. This experiment aims to obtain the optimal combination of organic materials and NPK fertilizer percentage for kailan production in calcareous soil. The experiment was carried out with a factorial randomized block design. Factor 1 is the type of organic material, namely: calcareous soil only (B0); husk charcoal (B1); cow manure (B2); compost (B3); cocopeat (B4); and sawdust (B5). Factor 2 is the percentage of NPK fertilizer from the recommended dose, namely NPK 25% (N1); NPK 50% (N2); NPK 75% (N3); NPK 100% (N4). The observation data was analyzed for variance and a least significant difference test (BNT) at the 5% level was carried out if there was a real effect of treatment. The results of the research showed that Kailan planted in calcareous soil mixed with cow manure and compost combined with NPK fertilizer at a dose of 50%, 75% or 100% and treated without organic material but given 75% or 100% NPK fertilizer produced fresh weight. kailan plants of the same weight.

Abstract

Okra is a healthy vegetable and medication. Growing okra on an organic medium and adding charcoal may boost output. Okra plant growth metrics and yields will be examined about the organic growing medium and biochar dose. The study was place in March 2021 at Sekarpuro Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency. This study employed a factorial Randomised Block Design (RAK) with two factors: Organic Planting Media and Biochar dose. Plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of crop fruits (fruit), fruit weight per plant (grammes), fruit diameter, length, and bar weight are observation metrics—analysis of variance using ANOVA and BNT 5% difference test. The study found that 7.5 tons/ha of manure and 10 tons/ha of coconut fibre biochar naturally increased okra plant growth and output. Fruit and stem weights also varied with planting medium and charcoal. The finding is that organic growing medium treatment and biochar dose affect okra plant development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh pemberian kompos limbah panen bawang Dayak dan Fungi mikoriza arbuskular (FMA) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pakcoy di tanah gambut pedalaman. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 4x4, 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama= kompos limbah panen bawang Dayak (0, 10, 20, 30 ton ha-1). Faktor kedua=dosis FMA (0, 2, 4, 6 ton ha-1). Hasil menunjukkan interaksi kompos limbah panen bawang Dayak dosis 20 ton ha-1 dan FMA dosis 6 ton ha-1 meningkatkan pertumbuhan jumlah helai daun pada umur 21 HST. Kompos limbah panen bawang Dayak dosis 30 ton ha-1 dan FMA dosis 4 ton ha-1 berpengaruh sangat nyata pada bobot kering tanaman. Pemberian kompos limbah panen bawang Dayak dosis 30 ton ha-1 menghasilkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah helai daun, luas daun, bobot segar tanaman lebih tinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Pada dosis 20 ton ha-1 berpengaruh sangat nyata pada panjang akar. Pemberian FMA dosis 6 ton ha-1 berpengaruh sangat nyata pada panjang akar. Fungi mikoriza arbuskular tidak berbeda nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun 14, 21 dan 28 HST, luas daun, bobot segar tanaman dan bobot kering tanaman. Secara umum pemberian kompos limbah bawang Dayak hingga 30 ton ha-1 dan FMA hingga 4 ton ha-1 efektif meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy melalui peningkatan biomassa tanaman. Abstract

The processing of organic waste in Jambangan village was burned and transported to another location. Relocation of waste to other sites required high costs, and burning waste gave a risk on respiratory problems and fires in the environment.  The Partner Village Development Program aims to provide training in processing organic waste into organic fertilizer for the Barokah I Farmers Group. The method used was training in composting technology for organic waste to produce organic fertilizer. The result showed that organic waste processing in Jambangan village can be carried out by supporting of the farmer groups, village officials and extension workers from the Malang Regency Ministry of Religion Office. Organic waste was obtained from sorting households waste before being used as organic fertilizer. Organic waste of plant stover needs to be chopped into smaller sizes to facilitate the fermentation process. Aerobic composting technology based on chopped plant stover is applied using the stack method and requires a fermentation time of 4 weeks. The fermented compost needs to be sifted to obtain a fine size before being used or packaged.  The next program requires assistance in compost production as a fertilizer for agricultural soil in Jambangan village.

Abstract

Serangan ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura F.) mampu menurunkan produktivitas tanaman kailan (Brassica oleracea var. alboglabra) yang mengakibatkan kerugian besar bagi petani. Upaya penanggulangan serangan hama yang ramah lingkungan sangat penting untuk meminimalisir residu pestisida pada tanaman sayur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas konsentrasi B. bassiana dan metode aplikasi yang berbeda dalam mengendalikan S. litura pada tanaman kailan. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu konsentrasi cendawan B. bassiana 0 g/L (kontrol), 1 g/L, 1,5 g/L, 2 g/L, 2,5 g/L dan metode aplikasi yakni metode pakan dan kontak. Sehingga diperoleh 10 kombinasi perlakuan dan tiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Masing-masing satuan percobaan menggunakan 10 larva ulat grayak instar III. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi dan metode aplikasi B. bassiana berpengaruh pada penurunan aktifitas makan dan intensitas serangan S. litura. Konsentrasi B. bassiana 2.5 g/l dengan aplikasi secara kontak menurunkan aktivitas makan S. litura F. sebesar 28.93% dan menurunkan intensitas serangan sebesar 31.9%. Angka kematian S. litura meningkat seiring dengan tingginya konsentrasi B. bassiana hingga mencapai 93,3% dari jumlah larva yang diujikan. Metode pengaplikasian B. bassiana secara kontak 4,6% lebih efektif meningkatkan kematian larva Spodoptera litura F. dibandingkan metode pakan. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi B. bassiana yang diberikan hingga 2.5 g/l akan meningkatkan kecepatan kematian larva S. litura dibandingkan dengan tanpa aplikasi B. bassiana

Abstract

Optimizing the growth of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) under controlled lighting conditions is essential for improving indoor farming systems. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of the intensity of 3030 LED (light emitting diode) type 7520 red-blue Grow Light on the growth of 3 Lettuce varieties, which were cultivated using NFT hydroponics. The study procedures were carried out using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors. These factors included 1) intensity of the red-blue SMD 3030 LED Grow Light type 7520 with levels of 0%, 30%, 70%, and 100%, and 2) lettuce varieties, namely Batavia Caipira, Red Rapid, and New Grand Rapid. Data obtained were analyzed for variance at the 5% level and the Honest Significant Difference Test at the 5% level. The results showed that giving a red-blue SMD 3030 type 7520 LED Grow Light with an intensity of 100% to Batavia Caupa lettuce variety produced the highest number of leaves at 35, 42, and 45 days after sowing (DAS). Moreover, an intensity of 70% led to greater plant height, which was observed to be better at 45 days after sowing. LED lights with 100% intensity promoted superior growth in leaf area, fresh stover weight, and fresh root weight compared to other intensities. New Grand Rapid variety exhibited a plant height of 47 cm, a leaf area of 109.1 cm², a fresh stem weight of 144.2 g, and a dry root weight of 1.8 g, outperforming the other varieties. Meanwhile, Batavia Caipira variety produced a greater number of leaves (29.3 leaves) compared to others.
