Abstract

Abstrak Pelatihan pembuatan akuaponik ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam budidaya akuaponik sebagai implementasi ekonomi hijau (SDG’s 8) di Kelurahan Pucangsewu, Kecamatan Gubeng, Surabaya, dengan melibatkan peserta dari karang taruna dan ibu-ibu PKK sejumlah 35 orang. Metode pelatihan meliputi pemaparan teori mengenai konsep akuaponik, demonstrasi pembuatan sistem akuaponik, serta praktek langsung oleh peserta. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta memperoleh pemahaman yang baik tentang prinsip dasar akuaponik dan mampu membuat sistem akuaponik sederhana secara mandiri dari ember. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pemanfaatan lahan sempit untuk pertanian perkotaan yang ramah lingkungan (urban farming). Kata kunci: akuaponik; ekonomi hijau; pelatihan; urban farming. Abstract This aquaponics training was carried out with the aim of improving community skills in aquaponics cultivation as an implementation of the green economy (SDG's 8) in Pucangsewu Village, Gubeng District, Surabaya, by involving participants from Karang Taruna and PKK mothers (35 peoples). The training method includes theoretical explanations regarding the concept of aquaponics, demonstrations of making aquaponics systems, and direct practice by participants. The results of this training showed that participants gained a good understanding of the basic principles of aquaponics and were able to make a simple aquaponics system independently from a bucket. In addition, this activity also increased public awareness of the importance of utilizing narrow land for environmentally friendly urban farming. Keywords: aquaponics; green economy; training; urban farming.

Abstract

AbstrakDesa Kedamean merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Kedamean, Kabupaten Gresik bagian selatan. Mayoritas penduduk Desa Kedamean bermata pencaharian sebagai petani dan buruh pabrik. Berdasarkan data Kementrian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan tahun 2020, di Kabupaten Gresik Provinsi Jawa Timur terdapat sekitar 41% sampah organik dari total sampah keseluruhan yang didominasi oleh sampah sisa makanan. Namun, menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 2018 hanya 1,2% saja masyarakat yang mendaur ulang sampahnya. Rumah tangga menjadi salah satu penyumbang sampah terbesar di Indonesia. Jumlah rumah tangga di Desa Kedamean terhitung sebanyak 1940 yang berarti 32% dari total keseluruhan penduduk. Salah satu pemanfaataan sisa sampah organik adalah sebagai Pupuk Organik Cair (POC). Melalui alat Komposter, sampah organik rumah tangga dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) melalui proses pengomposan dengan memanfaatkan tong bekas. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan untuk memberikan edukasi serta penyuluhan kepada masyarakat Desa Kedamean tentang pengolahan sampah rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan respon positif dan antusias yang tinggi dari masyarakat Desa Kedamean. Melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat Desa Kedamean memperoleh ilmu dan keterampilan baru untuk meningkatkan produktifitas. Kata kunci: Desa Kedamean; gresik; pengolahan sampah organik; komposter; pupuk organik cair. AbstractKedamean Village is one of the villages in the Kedamean District, the southern part of Gresik Regency. The majority of the residents of Kedamean Village have a livelihood as farmers and factory workers. Based on data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry 2020, in Gresik Regency, East Java Province, there are around 41% organic waste of the total waste, which is dominated by food waste. However, according to data from the Central Statistics Agency released in 2018, only 1.2% of people recycle their waste. Households are one of the biggest waste contributors in Indonesia. The number of households in Kedamean Village is 1940, which means 32% of the total population. One of the utilizations of the remaining organic waste is as Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF). Through the Composter tool, household organic waste can be used as Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) fertilizer through the composting process using used barrels. Therefore, community service activities are carried out to provide education and counseling to the people of Kedamean Village regarding household waste management. This activity received a positive and enthusiastic response from the people of Kedamean Village. Through this activity, the people of Kedamean Village gain new knowledge and skills to increase productivity. Keywords: Kedamean Village; gresik; organic waste processing; composter; liquid organic fertilizer.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between electron beam energy and electric charge, as well as the relationship between deviation and energy, to evaluate the output stability of the LINAC machine. Measurements were conducted at BPAFK Surabaya using a Varian TrueBeam LINAC at Hospital X, East Java. The study employed electron energies of 6 MeV, 9 MeV, 12 MeV, 16 MeV, and 18 MeV. The procedure included filling the water phantom with distilled water, setting the source-to-surface distance (SSD) to 100 cm with a radiation field size of 10 cm × 10 cm, and connecting the detector to the electrometer outside the LINAC room. Calibration was performed at the reference depth (Zref) based on the R₅₀ value from the Percentage Depth Dose (PDD) table according to the IAEA TRS-398 standard. Measurements were repeated five times with voltage variations of +300 V, −300 V, and +75 V. The results showed that the maximum electric charge occurred at 12 MeV at a depth of 2.96 cm, while the highest deviation, −0.15%, was observed at 16 MeV—still within the ±2% tolerance limit. Therefore, the LINAC machine is considered stable and suitable for use in radiotherapy.
