Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran daring dengan mengguanakan aplikasi Google classroom dan Google Meet terhadap minat dan hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kuantitafif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest yang menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan angket minat belajar. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Matematika semester II Universitas Munhammadiyah Sorong berjumlah 17 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dan Google Meet dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa hal ini dapat dilihat dari perolehan nilai rata-rata sebesar 71.35 sedangkan sebelum menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dan Google Meet nilai rata-rata mahasiswa sebesar 31. 24. Hal ini sejalan dengan respons yang diberikan mahasiswa mengenai minat belajar yang dimiliki. sebesar 43% merespons sangat setuju merasa senang terhadap pembelajaran yang berlangsung menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dan Google Meet. 39% merespons sangat setuju memperhatikan pembelajaran selama menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dan Google Meet. 50% merespons sangat setuju berpatisipasi dalam pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dan Google Meet. Dengan demkian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dan Google Meet berpengaruh terhadap minat dan hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa semester II Prodi Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong. Selain itu selama pembelajaran yang menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dan Google Meet juga mengalami beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan kuota internet dan ketidakstabilan jaringan internet mengakibtkan beberapa mahasiswa tidak dapat mengikuti pembelajaran secara keseluruhan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk penelitian berupa kartu Make a Match berbasis karakter anti korupsi yang Valid, Praktis, dan Efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan R&D (research & development) dengan menggunakan model Thiagarajan yang dikenal dengan 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate), yang kemudian diadaptasi menjadi 3 prosedur pengembangan (define, design, and develop ). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan kartu make a match yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai karakter anti korupsi, sehingga penanaman karakter anti korupsi diintegrasikan melalui sikap dengan penerapan langkah-langkah pembelajaran make a match, dan melalui pengetahuan dengan nilai-nilai karakter anti korupsi yang diintegrasikan pada kartu make a match yang diuji cobakan pada 28 mahasiswa yang mengontrak mata kuliah analisis kompleks. Rancangan uji coba perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan one group pre test-post test. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu 1) Kartu make a match berbasis karakter anti korupsi dinyatakan valid berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh 3 orang ahli; 2) penggunaan Kartu make a match berbasis karakter anti korupsi dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan hasil analisis angket respon dari dosen yang telah menerapkan; dan 3) kartu make a match berbasis karakter anti korupsi efektif digunakan dalam mengintegrasikan karakter anti korupsi yang dilihat dari hasil analisis observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan N-Gain angket karakter anti korupsi. Kata kunci: Karakter anti korupsi  kartu; make a match; media pembelajaran; pengembangan. Abstract This study aims to produce a research product in the form of a Make a Match card based on anti-corruption characters that is valid, practical, and effective. This research is a research and development research using the Thiagarajan model known as 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate), which is then adapted into 3 development procedures (define, design, and develop). In this study a make a match card is developed which is integrated with the values of anti-corruption characters, so that the inculcation of anti-corruption characters is integrated through attitude with the application of make a match learning steps, and through knowledge with the values of anti-corruption characters integrated into the make a match card which was tested on 28 students who contracted complex analysis courses. The trial design of the learning device used one group pre-test-post test. The results of this study were 1) the make a match card based on the anti-corruption character was declared valid based on the results of validation by 3 experts; 2) the use of the make a match card based on the anti-corruption character is stated to be practical based on the results of the response questionnaire analysis from the lecturers who have implemented it; and 3) the anti-corruption character-based make a match card is effectively used in integrating the anti-corruption character as seen from the results of the observation analysis of the implementation of learning and the N-Gain anti-corruption character questionnaire.Keywords: Card Anti-Corruption Character; Make a Match; Learning Media; Development

Abstract

This research aims to compare the effectiveness of online and offline learning in the Educational Statistics course for Islamic Education (PAI) students in the fourth semester of IAIN Sorong, West Papua. The research method employed is a quasi-experimental design with a pre-experimental type - the one-shot case study design, which compares two classes with two different treatments. The subjects in this research were all students of Islamic Education in the fourth semester of the 2020/2021 academic year at IAIN Sorong, namely two classes and a total of 39 students. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique, namely one class was to implement online teaching and learning activities and the other class was to implement offline learning. Data collection techniques used implementation observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and learning results test sheets. Data analysis techniques used descriptive and inferential methods. The results of the research show that: (1) the learning outcomes of students taught using online learning achieved 84.24% learning completeness with a minimum score of 70/B and an average score of 75.21; (2) student activity reached 3.12 categorized as “Good”. (3) student responses to the online learning model were positive; 4) students taught using offline learning achieved 100% learning completeness with a minimum score of 70/B and an average score of 80.79; (5) student activity reached 2.74 in the “Good” category; and (6) student responses to the offline learning model were also positive. Thus, it can be concluded that the offline learning model is more effectively applied to students in the fourth semester of PAI-B IAIN Sorong in the educational statistics course.

Abstract

Community service aims to increase understanding of the concept of integer arithmetic operations, considering the importance of understanding and mastery of this material because it is the basic material for the next material. The research method of community service is learning using concrete examples such as positive (+) and negative (-) cards and borrowing. This community service activity took place over three meetings, starting on May 21, 25, and 27, 2024 with a total of 26 class V participants. Based on the results of observations during the activity, several positive things were obtained, namely: 1). The enthusiasm for learning that is very visible from students because of the fun learning process, 2). Courage that will foster students' self-confidence when coming forward to answer a question, and 3). Changes in the mindset of students who still think that mathematics is a difficult, stressful, and boring subject. This community service activity also has a very significant impact on changes in the increase in the value obtained by students in solving a problem.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menekankan penguasaan serta pengembangan keterampilan mahasiswa. Namun, kurangnya keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran telah menghambat keterampilan berpikir kreatif mereka. Tujuan penelitian menguji pengaruh dari model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis entrepreneurship terhadap keterampilan berfikir kreatifmahasiswa pada materi Geometri Ruang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental yang melibatkan pretest dan posttest pada 12 mahasiswa semester 2 di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan perubahan tingkat keterampilan berfikir kreatifmahasiswa setelah melakukan pembelajartan model PjBL berbasis entrepreneurship, dengan rerata hasil posttest sebesar 89,5. Hasil analisis gain menunjukkan rerata 0,85, yang berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Selain itu, respon mahasiswa terhadap model pembelajaran ini juga positif, dengan rerata respon sebesar 78%. Dalam kesimpulan, model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis entrepreneurship memberikan pengaruh yang positif pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Geometri Ruang. Oleh sebab itu, diharapkan agar pendekatan ini dapat diterapkan lebih luas dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa di berbagai mata pelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in learning by using a problem-based learning model and assisted by the GeoGebra application. This type of research is pre-experimental. The research sample was taken from class VIII students of junior high school. Based on the research results, it was found that 72.2% of students were in the upper middle category and the average student response to the use of the Geogebra-assisted PBL learning model reached an average of 3.46 and the average result of learning implementation was 3.71 with a positive category. The results of the N-gain analysis show that the statistical value is respectively 0.865 with a ''P Value (sig)'' of 0.278 because the ''P Value (sig)'' is more than 0.05 indicating that the N-gain value comes from the normal population and the results of hypothesis testing where the t-value is 8,517 with a P-value <0.30 (sig.2-tailed)) 0.00 so that it can be stated that the P-value is smaller than the significance level, which is 0.30 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus experiments using the problem-based learning model with the help of Geogebra are effectively applied

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat di Kelurahan Giwu Kompleks Bambu Kuning bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi dan numerasi anak-anak di daerah tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi, ditemukan bahwa banyak anak kesulitan dalam membaca dan memahami konsep dasar matematika. Program ini mengadopsi metode service learning dengan tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan meliputi pembuatan mading edukatif, latihan soal, dan pembelajaran aktif yang melibatkan kolaborasi peserta didik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan literasi dan numerasi, dengan skor pre-test meningkat dari 20% menjadi 90%. Masyarakat memberikan respons positif terhadap kegiatan ini, yang juga meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua akan pentingnya dukungan mereka terhadap pendidikan anak. Meskipun beberapa aspek perlu perbaikan, program ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif dan dapat dijadikan model untuk daerah lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is toincreasing interest in reading, enthusiasm for learning, understanding in recognizing letters and improving the reading and counting skills of the Yeflio village children. This activity was carried out in Yeflio village, Mayamuk District, Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua Province. Participants who took part in this community service activity were children of pre-school age, elementary school age, and junior high school. Participants in this community service activity totaled 50 children, with 33 girls and 27 boys. The implementation of this activity was carried out using several reading guidebooks and arithmetic books as well as reading, writing and arithmetic learning media that were made. The activities were carried out for 16 meetings from 23 August to 15 September 2022 every Monday to Thursday at 15.00. 00 to 17.00 WIT. The learning process is carried out both classically and in groups according to the abilities of the participants. Data collection was carried out by means of observation and tests, data on the results of activities were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the community service activities concluded that there was an increase in literacy skills in reading, writing, arithmetic (SICALISTUNG) in activity participants with details of an increase in the number of participants who already knew letters by 4 out of 8 participants or 8%, and fluent reading by 16 people or 32%. In writing literacy, the increase occurred in participants who wrote fluently by 4 people (16.7%) and participants who could not write decreased to only 1 person out of 6 people or 8.3%. In the numeracy literacy program there was also an increase in the average score from 14 to 42 in the addition and subtraction program.

Abstract

Students have difficulty solving math story problems because they do not understand the context and do not know how to start, due to conventional learning and lack of connection with real experiences. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the RME approach on students' problem-solving abilities in solving story problems. The study was conducted in grade IV of SD Negeri 36 Sorong City using a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used included test questions (pretest and posttest), learning implementation observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, RME syntax implementation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study were normality tests, paired sample t-tests and -gain tests, then learning outcome completeness tests. The results showed an increase in problem-solving abilities after the implementation of the RME approach. The average posttest score was higher than the pretest, and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test results showed a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which means there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The N-Gain value of 0.5750 is included in the moderate category. The classical learning completion rate reached 84% and was in the very good category. The implementation of learning and RME syntax each achieved an average of above 85%, which is included in the very good category. Student activity also showed high results, with the majority of students in the active and very active categories. The results of the student response questionnaire showed that all students gave a positive response to the learning. Based on these results, the RME approach has proven effective in improving students' problem-solving abilities in solving mathematical story problems on the topic of measuring units of length.
