Abstract

Abstrak. Fenomena erosi yang disebabkan oleh kandungan pasir menyebabkan kerusakan pada komponen-komponen perpipaan Drain line gas production separator pada Blinded tee 3”×2” dan Reducer 3”×2”. Pada penelitian kali ini, dari data yang dianalisa dengan menggunakan interpolasi Lagrange, perubahan laju erosi yang disebabkan oleh laju aliran massa pasir pada Reducer 3”×2” lebih stabil dan lebih linear dengan tingkat kelinearitasan sebesar 100% daripada Blinded Tee 3”×2” yang memiliki tingkat kelinearitasan sebesar 97,99%. Untuk memprediksi nilai laju erosi dari laju aliran massa pasir yang belum diketahui dengan menggunakan interpolasi lagrange memiliki nilai keakurasian yang sangat tinggi karena memiliki nilai eror yang sangat kecil sebesar 0,37% pada Blinded Tee 3”×2” dan 0% pada Reducer 3”×2”.Kata Kunci : Blinded tee 3”×2”, Reducer 3”×2”, Laju Erosi, Interpolasi Lagrange, dan Laju Aliran Massa Pasir.  DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/scan.v14i3.1683

Abstract

To know the prediction of disease outbreak, proper predictive modeling is required to represent the dataset. This study presents the comparative predictive modeling for predicting disease outbreak using two models i.e., optimizable support vector machine (SVM) and optimizable gaussian process regression (GPR). The dataset used in this study contains three cases i.e., positive cases, recovered cases, and death cases. The dataset at each case is divided into training dataset for the training process and external validation dataset for the validation process. Based on the training process and validation process, the root mean square error (RMSE) at positive cases, recovered cases, and death cases using optimizable GPR is substantially more effective for prediction than the optimizable SVM. According to the result performance, by applying optimizable GPR, the training process has the average RMSE of 19.54 and the validation process has the average RMSE of 15.85.

Abstract

The COVID-19 epidemic has spread massively to almost all countries including Indonesia, in just a few months. An important step to overcoming the spread of the COVID-19 is understanding its epidemiology through mathematical modeling intervention. Knowledge of epidemic dynamics patterns is an important part of making timely decisions and preparing hospitals for the outbreak peak. In this study, we developed the susceptible-infected-recovered-dead (SIRD) model, which incorporates the key epidemiological parameters to model and estimate the long-term spread of the COVID-19. The proposed model formulation is data-based analysis using public COVID-19 data from March 2, 2020 to May 15, 2021. Based on numerical analysis, the spread of the pandemic will begin to fade out after November 5, 2021. As a consequence of this virus attack, the cumulative number of infected, recovered, and dead people were estimated at ≈ 3,200,000, ≈ 3,437,000 and ≈ 63,000 people, respectively. Besides, the key epidemiological parameter indicates that the average reproduction number value of COVID-19 in Indonesia is 7.32. The long-term prediction of COVID-19 in Indonesia and its epidemiology can be well described using the SIRD model. The model can be applied in specific regions or cities in understanding the epidemic pattern of COVID-19.

Abstract

Peringatan maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW menjadi salah satu faktor yang sangat penting dalam membangkitkan semangat keislaman dan memperkuat keimanan kepada Allah SWT. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan tiga metode utama agar dapat membangkitkan semangat keislaman dan memperkuat keimanan masyarakat di Desa Kramat Jegu Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Tiga metode ini terbukti dapat dapat meningkatkan antusiasme masyarakat untuk mendatangi acara peringatan maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW di Masjid Baitut Taqwa di desa tersebut.

Abstract

Banyaknya masalah kecelakaan yang terjadi akibat adanya kerusakan jalan raya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu metode untuk mendeteksi keretakan jalan raya lebih dini, agar dapat menguragi resiko kecelakaan akibat kerusakan jalan raya. Telah dilakukan sebuah penelitian dengan menggunakan serat optik silica berstruktur SMS (Singlemode-Multimode-Singlemode) sebagai sensor tekanan untuk mendeteksi keretakan struktur jalan raya. Dalam penelitian itu, dilakukan dua metode yaitu metode eksperimen dan metode simulasi. Pada metode eksperimen menggunkan OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) dan metode simulasi menggunakan interpolasi lagrange. Sedangkan serat optik silica berstruktur SMS yang digunakan terdapat dua macam yaitu dengan panjang multimode 6,5 cm dan 7 cm. Bedasarkan hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa pada serat optik silica berstruktur SMS dengan panjang multimode 7 cm memiliki tingkat linearitas yang lebih baik daripada panjang multimode 6,5 cm yaitu sebesar 94,71 %. Sedangkan untuk error dari nilai rugi daya yang terjadi bedasarkan hasil eksperimen terhadap hasil simulasi untuk panjang multimode 7 cm pada sensor serat optik silica berstruktur SMS memiliki error yang lebih kecil daripada panjang multimode 6,5 cm yaitu sebesar 0,072 %. Oleh karena itu, pada serat optik silica berstruktur SMS dengan panjang multimode 7 cm lebih layak untuk digunakan sebagai sensor tekanan.

Abstract

The coast is an area that has potential for tourist attractions, including for turtle conservation which is relied on as a support for the economy. Turtles are one of the protected animals, not just protected by law because they are feared they will become extinct. The Turtle Conservation "Pearl of the Masaran Sea" which is located on Sumbreng Beach, East Java, is one of the turtle conservation areas developed by the Trenggalek Lentera Society. Activities carried out at the turtle conservation site "Pearl of the Masaran Sea" include relocating turtle eggs, caring for turtle eggs, combing eggs, and also releasing hatchlings. There are 5 types of turtles that are protected on Sumbreng beach, some of which are green turtles and hawksbill turtles which are included in the Appendix I category, which means they are prohibited from being traded internationally. Apart from visiting tourists being able to see the turtle breeding process, this conservation also provides economic tourism such as small Jeep facilities that are used to get around the beach and releasing hatchlings in certain months. However, due to lack of exposure to this conservation area. This resulted in a small number of tourists coming, and also some tourists coming in the wrong month and not being able to see the hatchlings being released onto the beach. Therefore, this service presents an innovation in the form of a website facility that is useful for updating all activities taking place at the "Pearl of the Masaran Sea" Turtle Conservation. So it can attract more tourists to visit this tourist attraction and tourists can also find out which months are effective for visiting this tourist attraction. It is hoped that the "Pearl of the Masaran Sea" turtle conservation will have the potential for educational tourism which can be developed further, so that it can support the economy of the surrounding community and can also be used as a source of income for managing the turtle conservation itself.

Abstract

Banyaknya pengaruh asing yang berpotensi dapat merusak keutuhan Bangsa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya peringatan hari kemerdekaan 17 Agustus dapat menjadi momen yang sangat tepat bagi warga negara Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kembali semangat kebangsaan. Bekerjasama dengan LBB Delta Fermion Sidoarjo, maka dibuatkan suatu kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan semangat kebangsaan bagi warga sekitar di Dusun Klutuk Desa Kramat Jegu Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Beberapa acara yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan tersebut antara lain, yaitu: Pertama, pemberian pendidikan motivasi dengan cara mengenang jasa para pahlawan agar dapat meneruskan cita-cita mereka dalam menjaga keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI). Kedua, pelatihan pendidikan kesehatan jasmani seperti pada senam pagi dan jalan sehat agar dapat menjaga keseimbangan fisik masyarakat sebagai penerus generasi bangsa yang kuat. Ketiga, pemberian hadiah kepada masyarakat sekitar agar dapat meningkatkan kepedulian kepada sesama masyarakat Indonesia. Dengan adanya acara tersebut, diharapkan semangat kebangsaan dan kepedulian kepada sesama dapat meningkat sehingga tercipta masyarakat Indonesia yang rukun, aman, dan damai.

Abstract

Megengan is a means of preparing to face the month of Ramadan both physically and mentally. In this community service, three main methods are carried out to improve the preparation of the community in Kramat Jegu Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency for the month of Ramadhan, both physically and mentally. With this megengan event, there are 2 pieces of advice about the importance of the month of Ramadan and 6 moral values ​​in honoring the month of Ramadhan that people in the area get, so that they can make themselves more connected with the Creator, namely Allah SWT.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini telah dilaksanakan di LBB Delta Fermion Desa Kramat Jegu Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hal ini dikarenakan agar siswa-siswi setingkat SMA dapat memiliki persiapan yang lebih baik dalam menghadapi SBMPTN 2023. Selain itu, dengan adanya pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dapat menambah dan membantu siswa-siswi setingkat SMA dalam meningkatkan keilmuannya melalui para dosen dengan pakarnya masing-masing. Banyaknya dosen yang mempunyai keahlian dibidang sains dan teknologi diharapkan mampu menularkan ilmunya ke siswa-siswi setingkat SMA untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mereka dibidang sains dan teknologi terutama bidang elektronika dan teknologi informasi. Dengan pelatihan ini diharapkan siswa-siswi setingkat SMA dapat menambah wawasan dalam pengembangan sains dan teknologi di Indonesia, meningkatkan kemampuan siswa-siswi setingkat SMA, dapat membantu Sekolah dalam persaingan ilmu pengetahuan di kancah nasional ataupun internasional, serta dapat menyiapkan keahlian peserta untuk dapat membuka lapangan kerja baru di Indonesia.

Abstract

A study has been carried out using SMS structured glass optical fiber (Singlemode-Multimode-Singlemode) as a pressure and temperature sensor to detect cracks in the highway structure. In that research, the methods used are experimental and simulation methods. The experimental method uses OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), but the simulation method uses Lagrange interpolation. Next, two kinds of SMS structured glass optical fiber are used the multimode length of 6.5 cm and 7 cm at temperatures 470C dan 570C. Based on the experimental results, the SMS structured glass optical fiber with a multimode length of 7 cm has a better level of linearity than a multimode length of 6.5 cm, equal to 94.83% for 470C and 86,45% for 570C. As for the error of the power loss value that occurs, based on the experimental results on the simulation results for a multimode length of 7 cm on a glass fiber optic sensor with an SMS structure, it has an error smaller than a multimode length of 6.5 cm, which is 1.301% when it is measured on 570C. Therefore, the SMS structured glass optical fiber with a multimode length of 7 cm is more suitable for use as a pressure sensor.
