Abstract

This article aims to describe the involvement of junior high school students in project-based learning within the Merdeka Curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum is an educational approach designed to provide autonomy to students and encourage their engagement in the learning process, thereby allowing them to fully develop their potential. This article uses a qualitative approach with literature study as the main approach in collecting data. Researchers also analyzed various literature sources, articles and scientific works related to junior high school students' participation in project-based learning in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. Common challenges faced by junior high school students include a lack of understanding by educators, limited school support, and resource constraints. Therefore, this study aims to provide in-depth insights into project-based learning and how student involvement in learning within the Merdeka Curriculum can be enhanced.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the teacher-centered nature of current education. In recent years, the rapid advancement of information technology has significantly transformed how society seeks and acquires information. This technological progress has also influenced educational media, traditionally dominated by print-based learning materials used by teachers. The aim of this study is to enhance student learning outcomes through the use of GeoGebra-based media, which is effective in mathematics education. This research can be categorized as quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method. The study was conducted on fifth-grade students at SD N 14 Ranah Pesisir. The research instrument was developed to assess the effectiveness of using GeoGebra-based media in teaching planar geometry. The results of this study, analyzed using statistical methods including the Paired Sample Test, indicated a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than the alpha value of 0.05. This means that the significance value (0.000) is smaller than the alpha value (0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Hi). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in students' mathematics learning outcomes before and after using GeoGebra in planar geometry instruction.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the article writing skills of students at the Language and Literature Education Study Program at Ekasakti University in Padang before and after the implementation of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model assisted by audio visual media and to analyze the effect of implementing the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model assisted by audio visual media on article writing skills Students of the Language and Literature Education Study Program, Ekasakti University, Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The results of this research are that students' article writing skills before applying the PjBL model assisted by audio-visual media obtained an average of 65.00, students' article writing skills after applying the PjBL model assisted by audio-visual media, the highest score obtained was an average of 78.58, applying the PjBL model with the help of audio visual media, after carrying out the t-test, it was obtained that tcount > ttable or 3.27 > 1.70. So H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the application of the PjBL model assisted by audio-visual media is feasible to apply to the article writing skills of students at the Language and Literature Education Study Program, Ekasakti University, Padang.

Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying leaves quite a lasting psychological impact and seems to be a nightmare for a person's life, especially for victims, especially those who do not have good social adjustments and are rather slow in adapting to their environment. The negative impact experienced by someone who has been a victim of bullying is the main locus and becomes an accentuation and will be elaborated more deeply by researchers. This type of research is qualitative research carried out by observing phenomena that often occur in the campus environment. At least policy holders are able to provide strategic steps as a form of adult responsibility for the psychological and academic development of the nation's future generation. This type of research is qualitative research carried out by observing phenomena that often occur in the campus environment, linked to existing theories as a result of previous research and will be explained in descriptive form. The results of this research are an applicable form of preventing bullying in the campus environment, considering that the campus is one of the laboratories producing Indonesia's next generation.

Abstract

The criminal provisions in each law regarding General Elections (Elections) always increase, this is because there are still acts which in previous elections were not regulated as election crimes. The 2004 and 2009 Election Laws regulate procedural law and time limits for enforcing election criminal law. The Chairman of the Indonesian Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu), the Chief of the Indonesian Police and the Attorney General have made a Memorandum of Agreement to form an Integrated Law Enforcement Center (Sentra Gakkumdu) which contains elements from the Police, Prosecutor's Office and Election Supervisory Committee (Panwaslu) and is formed at the center, province and districts/cities which aims to effectively handle election crimes in accordance with the principles of justice, namely fast, simple and low cost as well as free, honest and impartial. The enforcement of election criminal law in the 2009 elections should have been more effective, but it turns out that based on Bawaslu's report the enforcement of election criminal law was very ineffective. This can be seen from the 2629 cases of election criminal violations, only 215 of which were decided in court. Referring to this problem, using a sociological juridical (empirical) legal research method, namely research carried out by analyzing data sources and then conducting interviews to reveal what problems occurred, what the coordination pattern actually was carried out by the Panwaslu with the Gakkumdu Center, how the Panwaslu and The Gakkumdu Center follows up on reports/findings of violations of election crimes, to determine whether many cases forwarded by the Panwaslu to the Gakkumdu Center are declared not to be election crimes, or there is not enough evidence, or the time for resolving election crimes will exceed the time limit, as well as looking for any factors which is an obstacle for both Panwaslu and the Gakkumdu Center in enforcing the law for election crime violations. From the research results, it turns out that coordination between the Panwaslu and the Gakkumdu Center went well, but enforcement of the criminal law for the election of members of the DPR, DPD and DPRD in 2009 failed, this was because reports submitted to the Panwaslu were reviewed and then submitted to the Gakkumdu Center to be reviewed again before being forwarded. to investigators. In the end, the Gakkumdu Center is no longer a forum for speeding up the resolution of handling election crimes, instead it acts as a filter for cases that will be passed on to the trial stage. Apart from that, there is a problem of differences in perception between who has the authority to declare suspected criminal acts, whether the Panwaslu or the Police, and then there is a shifting of duties between each other. for collecting evidence between Investigators and Panwaslu, and it cannot be denied that the quality of Panwaslu's human resources is very limited, most recently due to time restrictions for enforcing election criminal law as regulated in the law on elections. Therefore, it would be better if the law on elections strengthens the position of the Gakkumdu Center as the central institution for reporting and enforcing election criminal law, no longer the Panwaslu.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and explain the relationship between family support and student self-esteem and describe the level of differences in self-esteem of male and female students at MA Hamzanwadi NWDI Pancor. This research uses a quantitative approach using correlational and comparative methods. The measuring instrument in this research uses two scales, namely the self-esteem scale and the family support scale. The total research sample was 92 students, 46 male students and 46 female students. The research was conducted at MA Hamzanwadi NWDI Pancor, East Lombok. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The results of the research show that the significance value of the self-esteem variable and the family support variable is p = 0.00 < 0.05, so the variables are said to be correlated. The level of correlation between variables is 0.644 or around 64.4% of students' self-esteem is influenced by family support. Meanwhile, the description of the level of self-esteem of male and female students obtained a sig value. 0.865 > 0.05, so the average self-esteem score for male and female students is the same.

Abstract

This study focuses on speech act on facebook chat. The purposes of this study are to identify the types of speech act and describe the functions of each type of the speech act on facebook chat. This study employed descriptive qualitative research in which the researcher uses observation and documentation and methods to collect data. The data of this research is written utterances on Facebook chats. The results of this study show that from 90 data the researcher finds five types of speech act. There are 20 data or 22% from representatives, 18 data or 20% from directives, 15 data or 17% from commissives, 26 data or 29% from expressive, and 11 data or 12% from declarations. Each type of speech act on Facebook chat has its function. Representatives act have functions describing, asserting, and informing; directives act has functions commanding, requesting, inviting, forbidding, suggesting; commissives act have functions promising, threatening, offering; expressives act have functions thanking, apologizing, welcoming, and congratulating; and declarations act have function declaring.

Abstract

The problem with evaluating learning outcomes using paper-based tests is that the scoring calculation process takes a long time. So, the test results cannot be known directly. The implementation of learning outcomes evaluation in learning evaluation courses so far still uses paper-based tests, so students have to wait to find out the test results. This research and development apply the ADDIE model which is carried out in five stages. The instruments used in this research were tests and student response questionnaires regarding the use of the "Kahoot!" application. Analysis of the data obtained is divided into two types, namely quantitative data and qualitative data. The qualitative data results are based on criticism and suggestions presented by the validator to improve the question instrument. The results of the validation of the question instrument were in the "suitable for use with many revisions" category, the test results obtained 46 "valid" questions. Furthermore, the practicality test results are in the "quite practical" category with a score of 3.80 and for the effectiveness test results Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.068 means "there is no effect between tests using the "Kahoot!" by testing using Google Form”. However, judging from the test results obtained by students with different treatments, there are differences in scores, so this proves that this application is effective to use with very supportive signal provider requirements.

Abstract

Memorizers of the Qur'an who ignore their etiquette will find it difficult to practice the contents of the Qur'an so that they become a bad example for others, there is a tendency for arrogance, arrogance and other less praiseworthy behavior, thus the trust and honor that a person will gain memorizing the Qur'an can be lost if they do not maintain their etiquette. This research includes using qualitative methods with library research. Abstract

In Islamic educational institutions, the role of leaders has a very strategic position in realizing the institutional vision. Leadership is a key element that drives the dynamics of an institution or organization. A leader is required to have the ability to anticipate change, manage resources effectively, and direct organizational strategies in realizing the institutional vision, especially in terms of developing institutional quality, improving the quality of human resources, and strengthening competitiveness in various sectors. The quality of leadership significantly affects the direction and achievement of institutional goals. This study aims to explain the characteristics of leadership in the management of private Islamic educational institutions through a case study at SD Islam Al Muttaqin. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and case study method. This study explains the characteristics of effective leadership in Islamic educational institutions emphasizing Islamic values ​​such as monotheism, Amanah and responsibility and deliberation. Supporting factors in leadership are communication, work motivation, exemplary behavior and reward-punishment systems. The results of the study indicate that the success of the institution is greatly influenced by the quality of visionary, fair, and inspiring leadership in managing resources and involving all elements of the school.
