Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the 4P marketing mix (Product, Price, Promotion, Place) on fruit purchasing decisions at Hokky Panglima Sudirman Minimarket. This research is motivated by the high productivity of horticultural fruits, the lack of public interest in fruit consumption, and the intense competition faced by Hokky Buah Panglima Sudirman Minimarket. The research sample of 100 respondents was analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The results showed that: Product, Price, and Promotion have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions at the 5% Alpha level; Place has a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions at the 10% Alpha level. This research contributes to knowledge about the influence of the 4P marketing mix on fruit purchasing decisions at minimarkets. The results of this study can help Minimarket Hokky Panglima Sudirman in improving its marketing strategy to increase sales of fruit products.

Abstract

The issue of gender equality remains a serious concern in several developing countries, including Indonesia. On the other hand, women, particularly farmer wives, are recognized to have the potential to enhance the welfare of farming families. Therefore, effective solutions need to be formulated to address the issue of the involvement of farmer wives in agriculture, considering the comprehensive factors causing their engagement from various aspects. The main objectives of this research are: 1) To analyze the involvement of farmer wives in pineapple farming. 2) To analyze the determining factors of the involvement of farmer wives in pineapple farming. Purposive sampling was chosen to select the Baamang Hulu Village, Tanah Mas Village, and Tinduk Village in the Baamang Sub-district of East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan, as the research locations, with 200 respondents determined using the Snowball sampling method. Sociodemographic characteristics and the level of involvement of farmer wives were analyzed using descriptive analysis, while the determining factors of farmer wives' involvement were analyzed using ordinal logistic regression. The research results indicate that most farmer wives are categorized as having a high level of involvement, with the determining factors influencing their engagement being experience, education, and participation in agricultural associations. This research recommends that to enhance the involvement of farmer wives in agricultural activities, it is necessary to ensure that they have fair and equal access to the resources required to participate in agriculture actively. This includes access to land, water, agricultural technology, financing, and markets. It is also essential to encourage the development of more agricultural associations that accommodate the participation of farmer wives.

Abstract

BUMDes is one of the business entities that can be an alternative for village communities in developing and utilizing existing potential by optimizing human resources in managing them. low competence and motivation are the background to problems related to lack of human resources and less than optimal performance. This research aims to analyze the influence of management competency and motivation on the performance of Niut Raya Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) management. The research was conducted in Pisak Village, Seventeen District, Bengkayang Regency with 10 respondents consisting of BUMDes administrators. This research uses population research which uses the entire population as a sample. The method used is quantitative descriptive. Data analysis techniques use validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, model feasibility testing and hypothesis testing using the SPSS 23.0 tool. The feature that will be used in this version is bootstrapping. The research results show that management competency does not influence the performance of BUMDes management. However, there are several suggestions that researchers put forward, namely creating clear guidelines on managing BUMDes finances and assets, implementing a financial information system that makes it easier to record, reporting and analyzing BUMDes finances, carrying out local potential analysis to identify all the resources available in the village and develop strategic plan to exploit local potential. Management motivation influences the performance of BUMDes management. The suggestions put forward are providing training, providing appropriate salaries, giving prizes to administrators who have good performance, creating a comfortable working atmosphere and good cooperation between administrators.

Abstract

The business world, such as the retail business, has an important role in breaking the chain of spread of the COVID-19 virus because of the large population, mobility, and interaction between people, so this must be anticipated so that the spread of the virus does not spread. Therefore, this new normal life is important to live in order to break the chain of spread of the COVID-19 virus and the wheels of the economy can continue to run by taking maximum possible precautions and following health protocols to prevent the spread and transmission of the COVID-19 virus from getting wider. Based on the results of the research above, several things can be interpreted, namely the survey states that respondents still prefer to carry out shopping activities offline to traditional retail and modern retail, while the use of online or e-commerce platforms in fulfilling household basic needs is still considered very little. This is supported by the survey results, namely the proportion of "Never" shopped at modern retail as much as 8.3%, traditional retail 34.525%, and e-commerce 88.1%, it can be concluded that there are still many respondents who buy groceries offline.

Abstract

Pepper is a spice commodity that has the largest average export volume in Indonesia compared to other spice commodities. Indonesia's low domestic pepper consumption caused most of its production to be exported to the world market. The period used in this study is 2003-2022. This study aims to analyze the condition of Indonesia's pepper trade competitiveness using the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Net Comparative Advantage (NCA) methods. The results of this study showed that Indonesian pepper has strong trade competitiveness and export competitiveness in destination countries.

Abstract

Karangreja District is a potato producing area Potato production in this area is fluctuating caused by labor factors that experience gender gaps. Women workers have minimal access to agricultural resources. This study aims to 1) examine the allocation of work in farmer households potato farming in Karangreja Sub-District, Purbalingga Regency, 2) analyzing the outpouring of farmer household work on potato farming in Karangreja Sub-District, Purbalingga Regency. This research uses a descriptive method which was conducted in Kutabawa Village and Serang Village, Karangreja Sub-District. The sampling was taken by using purposive sampling with a sample of 70 farmers. The research data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, document study, and observation. The data analysis technique using Mosher analysis and work outpouring analysis. The results showed that 1) Allocation of household work for potato farmers in Karangreja Sub-District is divided into three, namely productive (farming), reproductive (household) and social. The dominant productive work allocation was carried out by husbands such as activities land preparation, planting, weeding, stake installation, spraying, harvesting and postharvest. The dominant reproductive work allocation was carried out by the wife such as activities cooking, shopping, cleaning the house, washing clothes, taking care of the children. Social allocation dominantly carried out by the wife in recitation activities and helping with celebrations, meanwhile dominant husband in farmer group meeting activities and community service. 2) The total work outpouring of husband amounted to 2,225.93 HOK per planting season per 20,92 Ha, and total work outpouring of wife amounted to .201,29 HOK per 20,92 Ha.

Abstract

Urban farming is increasingly developing and gaining attention, especially because of its multifunctionality and positive effects on aspects of livelihoods, household food security, health, providing social space, green infrastructure, biodiversity, creating short food supply chains, and building social cohesion. However, urban farming can only be implemented successfully if people view it positively and accept it in their communities. The success of urban farming is rooted in the positive perceptions of those who live nearby, and these perceptions greatly influence individual acceptance. Thus, studying community perceptions will help in designing strategies to achieve successful adoption of urban farming. This research aims to describe and analyze the perceptions of the community implementing the program regarding the benefits of the urban farming program. The research design used is quantitative research using Rasch Modeling. The sample collection technique was a census, which came from members of the urban farming group in RW 04 Pajajaran District, Cicendo, Bandung City. The research results show that the community has benefited sufficiently from the existence of the urban farming program in their location. The community perception of the benefits of urban farming is that urban farming can keep the environment green, beautiful and productive. However, people think that urban farming cannot minimize household food consumption costs. This means, in implementing urban farming, environmental aspects are considered more dominant as benefits compared to aspects of respondent household resilience.

Abstract

Rice is one of the main commodities in Indonesian society. To increase production and income, various methods and technologies can be used. One method that can be applied is the rice salibu method. This research aims to: Identify factors that influence farmers in implementing salibu method in Pariangan District. This research uses logistic regression analysis techniques. The results of the research show that the factors that influence farmers in implementing salibu method are frequency of presence of farmers in farmer group activities and farmer income.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the production factors that influence rainfed rice production in Kotabaru Village, Martapura District, OKU Timur Regency. The implementation of this research was carried out in December 2022-February 2023. The research method was carried out using a survey method. The method of determining the sample used is a simple random sampling (simple random sampling). The population in this study were 141 farmers with a sample of 35 farmers. The analytical method used is cobb douglas multiple linear regression. The results showed that the factors that significantly affected rainfed rice production in Kotabaru Village, Martapura District, OKU Timur Regency were land area, labor, and seeds. Meanwhile, fertilizers and pesticides had no significant effect on rainfed rice production in Kotabaru Village, Martapura District, OKU Timur Regency.

Abstract

The rapid development of the business world requires business actors to keep up with progress in order to survive and compete in the marketplace. In order to survive and compete with other businesses, customer loyalty is essential. One of the ways to retain existing customers is to implement a marketing approach called relationship marketing. Relationship marketing serves as a strategy for companies to build long-term relationships not only with customers but also with other stakeholders, with the aim of increasing customer loyalty. This study aims to determine the patterns of relationship marketing and value network among stakeholders involved in Giri Senang Cooperative This research was conducted in Giri Senang Cooperative, located in Giri Mekar Village, Cilengkrang District, Bandung Regency. The data was collected through interviews with key informants involved in the business of the cooperative. This research design was descriptive qualitative and case study technique. This study shows that Giri Senang Cooperative has established good relationship with stakeholders even without contract system. The cooperative has implemented relationship marketing based on six market models including customer market, supplier and alliance market, influence market, referral market, recruitment market and internal market.
