Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether the mu'adalah curriculum still exists in the modern world and what obstacles lie in the way of its implementation following the release of Minister of Religious Affairs Regulation (PMA) number 18 of 2014. The foundation for changes in the educational system, namely the curriculum, is the evolution of art and culture, scientific and technical advancements, and global changes. This is done in order to enable educational establishments, particularly Pesantrens, to adjust and remain competitive in the face of current advancements. In order to gather information and data pertinent to the study topic from a variety of literature sources, including textbooks, scientific journals, theses, and other research reports, this research method employs a qualitative approach with the kind of library research. According to the study's findings, there hasn't been any regression in the existence of Pesantrens to this point. This is due to the government's recognition of Pesantrens through the mu'adalah policy, which was reinforced with the enactment of the Minister of Religious Affairs Regulation (PMA) Number 18 of 2014, enabling Pesantrens to compete on an equal footing with other educational institutions. Of course, there will inevitably be difficulties because of it. Among these, some doubt the caliber of graduates from Mu'adalah Pesantren who choose not to sit for the national exam. Additionally, graduates of the mu'adalah Pesantren occasionally face difficulties showing their diplomas, which can hinder their prospects of getting into college.

Abstract

Indonesia is a diverse archipelagic country where it holds uniqueness in every corner. Uniting diversity is not an easy thing even though the majority of the community is Muslim but religious conflicts still often occur due to a lack of tolerance towards other people. So the purpose of this study is to describe the Importance of Building Religious Tolerance in Indonesia Through Multicultural Education in an Islamic Perspective. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, then the data are collected both primary and secondary by careful observation techniques, then analyzed, and finally concluded descriptively. The results of the study show that the Importance of Building Religious Tolerance in Indonesia Through Multicultural Education from an Islamic Perspective is to be able to build an inclusive religious and diversity paradigm, followed by respecting the diversity of cultures, languages, ethnicities, races, and religions. And the last is to build a gender-sensitive attitude. These three things in Islam are under the principles of maqosidu sharia, one of which is closely related to ad-din/religion.

Abstract

In the current conditions, where the carrying capacity of the earth is increasingly threatened by human activities, Sufism life practice is emerging as an attractive alternative response. With a focus on sufficiency and simplification of desires, the principles of Sufism offer a relevant view in addressing the increasingly critical decline in the earth's carrying capacity. The concept of the earth's carrying capacity refers to the earth's ability to provide natural resources and absorb waste in a sustainable manner. The increasing criticality of these indicators suggests that the earth may no longer be able to sustain human life and ecosystems sustainably if no action is taken to change human patterns of behavior and policies. Awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability is increasing as humans are increasingly aware of the negative impact of their activities on the environment. This encourages efforts to reduce the human ecological footprint through environmentally friendly practices and more sustainable policies. This article aims to explore the concept of Sufism life practice as a form of response to environmental challenges faced today. With due regard to the urgency of environmental protection, faced at this time. Taking into account the urgency of environmental protection, this article discusses how fulfilling needs and simplifying desires can be an effective first step in maintaining the sustainability of our earth. It is hoped that through this research, new views will be opened on the importance of integrating Sufism values in an effort to preserve the earth as a common home for mankind. This research uses a literature study approach with data sources and information obtained referring to literacy materials for journal articles, research results, and scientific theories relevant to the topic. Data collection techniques use information review and document analysis.

Abstract

This research analyzes encouraging inclusivity: strategies for supporting students with special needs in general classes. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The research subjects comprised the Head of the Madrasah, the Deputy Head of Student Affairs, the Deputy Head of Curriculum, the Deputy Head of Infrastructure, and Guidance and Counseling for Teachers, Students, and Parents. Data collection techniques use interview observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that implementing an inclusive approach in general classes requires an integrated combination of methods and techniques. First, intensive teacher training is vital, focusing on improving skills in identifying and responding to individual student needs. Furthermore, developing flexible and adaptive teaching materials allows students with special needs to access the curriculum in a way that suits their abilities. Educational technology, such as software that supports differentiated learning and communication tools, also plays an important role. Emotional and social support, through counselling programs and the formation of peer support groups, contributes to creating an inclusive and supportive environment. The results of this research underscore the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents, and communities in creating a supportive educational ecosystem for all students, especially those with special needs.
