Abstract

The implementation of Pancasila values ​​as the basis for character education in elementary schools is a strategic step in shaping a young generation with integrity, morals, and responsibility as democratic citizens who are active in social life. This study examines various obstacles and opportunities in the process of internalizing Pancasila values, emphasizing the role of schools, families, and the social environment as supporting factors for success. Through a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, the research findings confirm that effective character formation is highly dependent on the creation of a conducive environment and synergistic collaboration between all relevant parties. This condition enables students not only to understand Pancasila values ​​conceptually but also to implement them in their daily behavior. The study results show that Pancasila-based character education, when integrated into the curriculum and school practices, can shape students who are intelligent, well-mannered, and possess strong character, so that they are ready to face the challenges of the modern era while making a positive contribution to the nation's progress.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the moral values ​​contained in the folklore "Saridin the Sakti" from the East Coast of Pati, as well as understanding its meaning, function and implications for character education at the elementary school level. The research approach was descriptive qualitative with content analysis methods, research data was obtained from the written text of the story "Saridin the Sakti". The research results show that the story of Saridin Yang Sakti has moral values ​​including: sincerity, patience, honesty, obedience, responsibility, and lessons about humility. These values ​​function as a socio-cultural ethical guide in Pati society, teaching about the consequences of actions and the importance of spiritual guidance. The results of the research show that the magical Saridin story has very strong moral values. Regarding the implications of this research, it is very relevant as teaching material for character education for elementary school students. Therefore, practically the results of this research can be a reference in the world of education for developing learning modules based on local wisdom values.

Abstract

Art is synonymous with freedom. Contrary to this statement, one of the functions of art is a medium for instilling character values based on a person's critical thinking through learning. The above explanation is the attraction of this study to analyze that dance can instill the value of strengthening character education based on high order thinking skills in the realm of basic education in Blitar Regency. The location of the research is in Doko District, precisely in the basic education unit with Islamic religious characteristics, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum, the second in general basic education, namely the 01 Genengan State Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative approach with data triangulation with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that as long as students participate in this activity, with the 'freedom' of dance activities, students show the value of Strengthening Character Education with the criticality that arises from students' behavior during the dance process. The strengthening of character education consisting of nationalism, religious, mutual cooperation, integrity, and independence can be seen in the high order thinking skills activities that exist in the dance process, namely remembering, analyzing, evaluating and creating.

Abstract

This study attempts to create GeoDa (Geometry Dakon) media based on local culture that can help fifth-grade students of Ngentak State Elementary School better understand geometric concepts. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) by utilizing the ADDIE paradigm including the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. In the validation of GeoDa media, it was carried out by material and media experts. The Wilcoxon test and student response surveys were used for testing. The results of the media validation obtained a value of 98% and for the material validation obtained 90.6%, so the GeoDa media is very suitable for use. This media is suitable for use, as evidenced by the average student response of 73% for small group trials and 80% for large group trials. The Wilcoxon test shows the results of Asymp. Sig. Value (p) <0.001, indicating that the use of GeoDa (Geometry Dakon) media significantly improves students' understanding of geometric materials. Thus, GeoDa media can be used to teach mathematics, especially geometry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how the interest of male and female students in learning Physical Education in Sports on Rhythmic Gymnastics material in Public Elementary Schools in Ngabang District. There are 3 schools that are the place of research, namely Public Elementary School 10, Public Elementary School 1 and Public Elementary School 2. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research type. The sample in this study is at SDN 10 Ngabang totaling 29 students, SDN 2 Ngabang totaling 27 students and SDN 1 Ngabang totaling 29 students so the total number of samples is 85 students. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be seen that the interest of male and female students in learning Physical Education in rhythmic gymnastics at SDN 10 Ngabang got a score of 18.68 with a high category, the interest of male and female students in learning Physical Education in rhythmic gymnastics at SDN 2 Ngabang got a score of 15.89 with a medium category and the interest of male and female students in learning Physical Education in rhythmic gymnastics at SDN 1 Ngabang got a score of 18.09 with a high category.

Abstract

Digital technology has led to the emergence of various innovations in learning, one of which is digital storytelling, which is believed to optimize writing skills as well as the learning motivation of elementary school students. This study aims to systematically examine the role of digital storytelling in the context of primary education, focusing on the development of writing skills, the enhancement of motivation, and its contribution to classroom collaboration. The method used is a systematic literature review by selecting and analyzing relevant scientific articles from both international and national journals. The synthesis results show that digital storytelling consistently has a positive impact on the quality of students’ writing, including narrative structure, creativity, and text cohesion. In addition, this technology has been proven to optimize learning motivation through more interactive, contextual, and meaningful experiences, as well as to support collaborative skills by encouraging interaction and cooperation among students. The findings also reveal variations in effectiveness depending on the platforms used, where Nearpod and similar media provide easier integration in the classroom and higher student engagement. This article contributes by presenting a conceptual and empirical synthesis of the implementation of digital storytelling, while offering a foundation for teachers, curriculum developers, and researchers to adopt this approach as an innovative strategy to improve the quality of writing education in primary schools. In conclusion, the integration of digital storytelling with Nearpod demonstrates high validity, practicality, and effectiveness in enhancing writing skills and learning motivation among elementary school students, providing a valuable model for digital pedagogy and practical strategies for educators.

Abstract

This study sought to investigate the implementation and effectiveness of the Environmental Surrounding Approach (PLAS) in the IPAS learning subject for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Gunung Picung 04. The research employed a quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control group design. A total of 60 students participated, divided equally into two groups: an experimental class (n=30) that received instruction using the PLAS method, and a control class (n=30) that did not. Data collection relied on non-test instruments, specifically pre- and post-intervention questionnaires (pre- and post-respond) and classroom observations. The analysis utilized both descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings indicated that the PLAS method significantly improved students' affective domain scores in the experimental group. Their average affective score increased from 58.06 (pre-intervention) to 70.5 (post-intervention), which was corroborated by observation data yielding an average score of 41.86. In contrast, students in the control group showed a smaller gain in their affective domain, with the average score rising from 60.13 (pre-intervention) to 65.26 (post-intervention), supported by an observation average of 47.6.

Abstract

This study has two objectives, the first of which is to describe the effect of the game-based learning model on students' learning interest in Pancasila Education learning for grade V at SD Negeri Gugus V Tempel Sleman. The second study aims to comparatively test the differences in students' learning interests between classes that use the game-based learning model and the problem-based learning model. This type of research is a quantitative experiment. This study used two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class was treated with the game-based learning model, while the control class was treated using the project-based learning model. The population in this study was all grade V students of SD Negeri Banyurejo 2, totaling 18 students, and all grade V students of SD Negeri Banyurejo 4, totaling 16 students; the total population of this study was 34 students. The sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling which can be interpreted as meaning that all populations are sampled. The data collection technique uses questionnaires, documentation, and instruments to obtain data on students' interest in learning Pancasila Education. Pre-tests and post-tests are given to determine the condition of students' interest in learning before and after being given treatment. The results of this study are descriptive (1). Interest in learning Pancasila Education in class V of SD Negeri Banyurejo 2 which uses the game-based learning model, is in the very high category with an average score of 85.94. (2) The interest in learning Pancasila Education of class V of SD Negeri Banyurejo 4, which uses the project-based learning model, is in the high category with an average score of 78.44. Comparatively, there is a significant difference between classes using the game-based learning model and project-based learning with a t-test of 6.579 and a p-value of 0.000. The average interest in learning using the game-based learning model is higher, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the influence of the application of the game-based learning model on the interest in learning Pancasila Education of class V of SD Negeri Gugus V Tempel Sleman.

Abstract

Of course, schools are facilitated by buildings or places to gain knowledge, namely school buildings. Not only buildings but supported by various other aspects, such as goals, vision, mission, facilities, infrastructure, and human resources. Without these aspects it is the same as a goal that has been made by the School, it will not be achieved and it should not run perfectly. The purpose of this article is to find out the importance of facilities and infrastructure for the psychomotor aspects of students or the talents possessed by students. This research method uses observation, interviews, and documentation, using observation sheets. This data collection will be carried out at SDN Ngebel which is in Kasihan, Bantul for 2 days, namely Monday and Saturday, 15 and 20 May 2023. The subjects in this study were the Principal, Teachers, and Students of SDN Ngebel. SD Ngebel has 2 class classes, namely A and B, for student respondents they can take either class A or B classes from class V. The results of this study are that school facilities and infrastructure are very important for supporting the success and learning process at school, especially in increasing talent owned by each student. One of them is with the school being able to take part in various competitions and win at various levels.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how teacher activities and student activities as well as analyze theincrease in motivation and student learning outcomes in class V SDN Sidorejo 1 Barito Kuala Regency by usinga model, namely PIRING ANTIK which is a combination of Problem Based Learning (PBL) models, Mathematics Learning Realistic (PMR) and Snowball Throwing. The type of research used was ClassroomAction Research (CAR), which was carried out in three meetings. The research subjects were fifth grade studentsat SDN Sidorejo 1, totaling 20 students, consisting of 12 male students and 8 female students. The data in thisstudy were obtained from observations and written tests. Then the conclusion from the final results of this study is that teacher activity in this study has increased by obtaining results on very good criteria. Student activity has increased with the final result obtaining very active criteria. Student motivation has increased with the final resultobtaining very high criteria. And student learning outcomes individually obtain or exceed the KKM that has been set, namely ≥75 and classical learning outcomes, namely ≥80% of students in the class obtain a final scorethat meets the specified completeness criteria, namely ≥75.
