Abstract

This study aims to discuss about "Islamic education does not only focus on the aspect of knowledge, but also on the formation of morals and ethics based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith. In the digital era, challenges related to ethical and moral behavior are increasingly complex, given the development of information and communication technology that influences the way of learning and interacting. This study aims to examine the application of Islamiceducational ethics through the perspective of Hadith in overcoming educational challenges in the digital world. Using a literature review method, this study explores how Hadith can be a guideline in dealing with problems such as the spread of hoax information, cyberbullying, and the decline in the quality of social interaction. This study also develops practical guidelines for educators and students in implementing Hadith-based educational ethics in cyberspace. The results of the study indicate that education based on Hadith values can help create a more ethicaland moral educational environment in the digital era, as well as guide the younger generation to develop good character through the wise use of technology. Abstract

The majority of scholars agree that a hadith conflicting with the Qur'an is considered weak (dha'if). However, the application of this method has implications for the weakening of several authentic hadiths (sahih) narrated in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, as well as other hadiths with authentic chains of transmission. Using a content analysis approach, this study aims to specifically examine Al-Idlibi's theory regarding the contradiction of hadith with the Qur'an and to identify the weaknesses of this matn (content) criticism method. The findings reveal that this theory does not belong to Al-Idlibi himself; rather, he merely cited a theory practiced by many hadith scholars. Furthermore, this theory has three main weaknesses: the absence of any consensus (ijma') on rejecting an authentic hadith due to its conflict with the Qur'an, the precedent among scholars prioritizing hadith when it contradicts the Qur'an, such as in the cases of inheritance and stoning (rajam), and the inherent subjectivity in applying this method.

Abstract

The Islamic philosophical thought, especially from Ibn Miskawaih and Al-Kindi, has a great influence on the development of education, including Arabic language education. Both combine ethical and intellectual aspects in education, thus providing a foundation for a holistic education system. This study aims to analyze the contribution of the thoughts of these two figures to the philosophy of Arabic language education and its application in modern education and to explore how the values taught by these twophilosophers can be applied in today's Arabic language curriculum. The method used in this study is the literature study method from the works of these two figures and from journals that discuss the thoughts of these two figures. The results of the studyshow that the integration of ethical values from Ibn Miskawaih and philosophical rationality from Al-Kindi enriches the approach to Arabic language education through a holistic curriculum, which combines moral and intellectual aspects in a balanced way.This integration is expected to form students who are not only proficient in Arabic, but also have ethical character and critical thinking skills that are relevant to the challenges of the modern era. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the manifestations of gender injustice experienced by female workers at PT Djarum Kudus using Amina Wadud's hermeneutic perspective of gender justice. As a pillar of the tobacco products industry, female workers in the hand-rolled clove cigarette (SKT) segment often face vulnerable working conditions despite their vital role. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, analyzing secondary data from relevant journals, theses, and reports. Data analysis was conducted through critical content analysis and hermeneutic methods, where empirical data on workers' conditions were interpreted through Amina Wadud's theoretical framework. The results identified four forms of systemic gender injustice: (1)Stereotypes that label women as “diligent, conscientious, obedient, and cheap” workers; (2) Subordination that places them in unskilled jobs; (3) Economic marginalization through a piece-rate system that creates income uncertainty and wage gaps; and (4) Double burden between factory work and domestic responsibilities. Analysis from Wadud's perspective shows that these practices are a violation of fundamental theological principles. Subordination denies women's status as equal khalifahs (moral agents of God), economic marginalization contradicts the Qur'anic principle of justice ('adl), and the double burden is a product of patriarchal socialconstruction, not divine nature. In conclusion, Amina Wadud's hermeneutics reframes the struggle of women workers not only as a secular demand for rights, but as a theological struggle to realize justice and human dignity inherent in Islamic teachings. Abstract

This study highlights the application of Outcome Based Education (OBE) in the development of an Islamic Education curriculum based on the values of Surah Luqman verses 12–19. The study was conducted using a qualitative literature review method. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction from relevant studies. The findings of the study show that Outcome-Based Education focuses on clear, measurable learning outcomes that are relevant to the needs of society and the world of work. This concept was then combined with the values contained in Surah Luqman verses 12–19, namely the outcomes that Luqman expected from his descendants, namely to be monotheistic, uphold the Sharia, and have good character. Thus, Surah Luqman verses 12–19 became an important foundation in formulating the objectives of Islamic Education in line with the principles of modern Islamic-based education. Therefore, OBE design should not only focus on cognitive aspects but also integrate spiritual, moral, and social dimensions. With the support of Qur'anic values, an OBE-based curriculum is expected to produce graduates who are highly competent, possess Islamic character, and are ready to face the challenges of the global future. Abstract

Multicultural education has evolved in response to the challenges of cultural diversity in the era of globalization. This article compares various perspectives and schools of thought within multicultural education, including traditional, critical, anti-racist, and postmodern approaches. Through a literature analysis, the study identifies differences in focus, strategies, and practical implications. The results indicate that the traditional approach emphasizes tolerance, while the critical school focuses more on issues of power and inequality. Abstract

This research  is based on the need to improve students' understanding and skills in performing worship in accordance with Islamic jurisprudence  (fiqh) guidance in a practical and applicable way. This study aims  to  examine  a  model  for  reinforcing  Islamic  jurisprudence  material  based  on  the concept  of the requirements  for practical  worship  skills  (SKIA)  and  to assess  its  effectiveness  in  improving  students' overall  ability  to practice  worship.  The research  method  used  was  a  descriptive  qualitative  approach. Data  collection  techniques  were  conducted  through  observation,  interviews,  and  documentation.  The results indicate that the application  of the SKIA model can improve students' conceptual understanding and  practical  skills  in  worship,  such  as  ablution,  prayer,  an d  fasting.  This  model  emphasizes  the integration  of  understanding  of Islamic  jurisprudence  theory  and  the practice  of worship,  taking  into account  the  requirements  of  students'  age, mental  ability,  and  knowledge.  Thus,  the SKIA  model  has proven  effective in strengthening Islamic jurisprudence  learning in a more contextual  way and oriented towards developing students' religious competence.. Abstract

The tradition of the Prophet's Birthday is a religious as well as a cultural expression that is full of social and spiritual values. However, modernization has given rise to a shift in the form of practice, such as food treats that used to be eaten together after Mahallul Qiyam and then closed with prayer, now replacing catering box rice that is taken home, and bherkat containing processed community products turned into matta'an store food. This phenomenon is interesting to study because it shows a shift in the value of togetherness and cultural identity. The research question is how the change in the tradition of the Prophet's Birthday is understood in the framework of local wisdom and its implications for the social, spiritual and cultural values of the community. The novelty of this research lies in the analysis of the Maulid tradition through intellectual reflection based on local wisdom. Previously, studies highlighted more aspects of ritual and history, while the aspect of shape change in the context of modernization was less considered. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive analytical approach through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the change in the Prophet’s Birthday has an impact on three main dimensions. First, social values have been reduced because togetherness and mutual cooperation are decreasing. Second, spiritual values are maintained through prayer, prayer and Mahallul Qiyam, but tend to be individualized so that it has the potential to reduce the collective religious experience. Third, cultural values face homogenization that erodes local identity, as distinctive symbols such as Bherkat are replaced by uniform products from modern stores. This finding leads to a theoretical finding in the form of the concept of Homogenization of Religious Culture, which is when local traditions that were once full of wisdom are now standardized by modern consumption patterns (catering and manufactured products). Local uniqueness is blended into a consumptive culture that emphasizes efficiency rather than meaning. Keywords : Cultural Shift, Prophet's Birthday Tradition, Bondowoso.

Abstract

The era of rapid advances in technology and information has had a major impact, one of which is mental health disorders. Recently, mental health issues have been increasingly voiced due to changes in lifestyle, social environment, and technology that require humans to adjust to the various demands of modern life. These problems include many people who experience psychological disorders due to criticism, responses, and bad judgment from others. However, all forms of anxiety can be overcome with self-healing. The purpose of this study is to explore the self-healing method as a self-healing from the disease in the chest and analyze the relevance of the content of Surah Ad-Duha to self-healing. The research method used is a qualitative study method in the form of library research, using an analytical method approach (tahlili) in interpreting the content of self-healing verses in Surah Ad-Duha. The results show that Surah Ad-Duha offers a Qur'anic self-healing model centered on three main mechanisms, namely (1) restoration of divine affection through strengthening the sense of being cared for and not abandoned; (2) reconstruction of the meaning of life through remembrance of blessings, strengthening self-identity, and affirmation that difficulties are always accompanied by ease; and (3) activation of the ethic of devotion through encouragement to give, do good, and live life with spiritual optimism. Thus, Surah Ad-Duha not only provides theological reinforcement, but also offers an integrative self-healing framework that is relevant to contemporary mental health problems. Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of (1) istihsān in the management of waqf assets at the KUA of Somba Opu District, (2) as well as to identify the obstacles and challenges that arise in the management of waqf assets beyond the stipulations of the wakif, (3) the reality of waqf assets managed using istihsān at the KUA of Somba Opu District. The approach used in this study is an empirical juridical approach through documentation studies and interviews with the staff of the KUA of Somba Opu District. This study employs a field research (qualitative field research) approach, with data obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and a review of relevant documents. This research discusses the implementation of istihsān in the management of waqf assets beyond the provisions set by the wakif at the KUA of Somba Opu District. The results of the study indicate that (1) istihsān provides a reasoning framework that allows waqf management to be carried out more adaptively, particularly in responding to the evolving needs of the community. (2) This study finds that the application of istihsān is inseparable from several constraints. Concerns arise regarding the potential shift from the original intention of the wakif if the flexibility of legal determination is not accompanied by strict supervision standards. Meanwhile, practical obstacles appear in the limited capacity of nazir to understand and interpret considerations of public benefit objectively, as well as the low level of public literacy regarding waqf. (3) Empirical findings at the KUA of Somba Opu District regarding the reality of waqf assets show that the application of istihsān in waqf management has been carried out in accordance with the governance principles recommended by BWI. This practice aligns with the values of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. This study is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions in understanding istihsan as a method used in the management of waqf assets so that it continues to bring sustainable benefits, and can serve as a reference for students, researchers, and other academics.
