Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring techniques of group counseling services to reduce online learning burnout in BK UNIPA Surabaya students. The design used is a one-group pre-test post-test with a target of 6 students who have a high level of online learning saturation obtained from the pre-test questionnaire scores. This research is classified as quantitative research using non-parametric analysis with the Wilcoxon test. The result of this research is Asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.012. Value is smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The final results of the post-test scores given to the six students showed a decrease in learning saturation scores from the six students in the high category to the low category. So the results of this research read that cognitive restructuring techniques have a significant effect in group counseling services to reduce online learning boredom in BK UNIPA Surabaya college.

Abstract

Much research has been done on guidance and counseling technology but only focuses on proving the effectiveness of technology applications in counseling. Unfortunately, research has yet to be found focusing on the proper framework for utilizing technology in guidance and counseling. This paper aims to formulate a framework for using technology in counseling services. A systematic literature review analyzes and combines information from various sources to obtain a comprehensive concept. Reference search results from 2011-2022 using published or perish (PoP) identified 69 references that met the literature criteria. The results of the study show that the use of technology in counseling must be oriented towards improving service quality by paying attention to the aspects: 1) Cultural and communication processes that will occur through technological devices, 2) Provisions and procedures for using technology-based services are to be agreed upon, 3) Readiness of technical knowledge from counselors as a service manager, 4) User experience in the technology application used.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui; kebutuhan media booklet karir model orientasi RIASEC; Model prototype media booklet karir orientasi RIASEC sebagai layanan informasi karir bagi mahasiswa; Untuk menghasilkan media booklet karir model orientasi RIASEC yang valid dan praktis sebagai layanan informasi karir bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang telah dimodifikasi oleh peneliti menjadi 7 tahapan yakni penelitian awal dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan pengembangan, pengembangan preform produk, validasi ahli, revisi produk tahap 1, uji coba lapangan (kelompok kecil) dan revisi produk 2 (produk akhir). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; Siswa mengalami kebingungan dalam memilih studi lanjut karena kurangnya pemahaman tentang karir sehingga diperlukan media seperti buklet karir model orientasi RIASEC untuk mendukung penyampaian layanan informasi karir di sekolah. Prototype pengembangan media booklet karir terdiri dari cover buku, halaman awal (front page), petunjuk penggunaan, isi materi orientasi model karir RIASEC, latihan dan LKS.Tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan media buklet karir model orientasi RIASEC setelah melalui uji validitas dinyatakan valid, berdasarkan hasil uji validasi ahli materi dengan hasil 87,5% yang berarti sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. ahli media sebesar 93,1% yang berarti dari segi grafis, teks dan bentuk sudah sangat baik dan untuk kepraktisan media setelah melalui uji kepraktisan dinyatakan praktis dengan hasil sebesar 87%, serta pada uji coba kelompok kecil oleh 10 siswa diperoleh hasil dengan kriteria sangat valid sehingga media booklet karir model orientasi RIASEC layak untuk diuji secara luas

Abstract

Communication is important in social interaction, even for promotion and sales. The purpose of this research is to reveal the Eta Agency Pro Comm sales promotion girl's interpersonal competence, openness, empathy, support, positivity, and Equality. Data was collected through Interpersonal Communication Scale (ICS) with a high-reliability value of 0,95. The sample was taken based on Purposive Random Sampling, with 58 respondents of sales promotion girls. This research found that every aspect of Interpersonal Communication of Sales Promotion Girls at the Competence level. Only Support communication there are 25 (43,10%) in Very Competence. İn another aspect below of that. This research suggests that communication is a combination in every aspect and always reciprocal in every social interaction.

Abstract

Makna hidup merupakan bagian yang penting untuk dimiliki manusia sebagai sebuah dorongan untuk mencapai tujuan personal. Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah inventori makna hidup untuk mahasiswa yang terstandar dan dapat mengukur makna hidup mahasuswa. Inventori mahasiswa diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh pendidik untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam mengenali dan memahami diri. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengadaptasi langkah pengembangan Gregory yang terdiri dari mendefinisikan tes, memilih skala, mengonstruksi butir, menguji butir, revisi, dan pengembangan norma. Penilaian ahli dilakukan oleh tiga ahli, serta mahasiswa Prodi BK UAD sebagai penilai keterbacaan instrumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis yang dilakukan terhadap informasi yang diperoleh tentang pengembangan instrument makna hidup menyangkut penilaian ahli, uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan penilaian ahli instrumen dan bimbingan konseling menunjukkan sangat sesuai yang berarti inventori makna hidup ini telah memenuhi kriteria baik dan dapat dilanjutkan untuk proses uji keterbacaan. Hasil penilaian keterbacaan menunjukkan bahwa inventori makna hidup mudah dipahami oleh mahasiswa. Hasil Uji validitas konstruk menggunakan product moment merujuk pada R hitung .0,198 dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0.860 yang berarti reliabel. Inventori makna hidup ini berupa 32 butir pernyataan dari 5 indikator.

Abstract

Many young K-Pop fans are very active in using social media so that it is indicated that it will trigger academic procrastination behavior. This study aims to find out the general description of academic procrastination in young Indonesian K-Pop fans. This study uses a quantitative research design. The subjects of this study were 400 young K-Pop fans (388 girls and 12 boys). The technique of determining the sample using nonprobability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. In this study, data measurement used the academic procrastination questionnaire which measures academic procrastination in the area of academic procrastination and the reasons for doing academic procrastination. The results showed that the picture of academic procrastination in young Indonesian K-Pop fans was in the moderate category. The results of this study are expected to provide insight and become a reference in designing guidance and counseling services to reduce academic procrastination.

Abstract

The increasing use of social media has several impacts, including the emergence of narcissistic behavior in adolescents. Narcissistic behavior in adolescents on social media is freely spreading identity and what happened to them, spreading other people's secrets or disgrace on social media, leaving negative comments on other people's social media, and wanting other people on social media to know what they have. This study aims to determine the tendency of adolescent narcissistic behavior on social media. This research uses a literature study method. Ease of access to using social media is one of the factors in the phenomenon of narcissism that occurs, especially among adolescents. Guidance and counseling services that can be developed related to narcissism are use guidance groups.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling with stress inoculation training techniques to reduce student school as research subjects who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that group counseling with the stress inoculation training technique was effective in reducing student anxiety in facing exams in the era of the covid-19 anxiety in facing exams in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. The design of this study used an experimental method with a pre-test – post test. Students' exam anxiety was measured by the Achievement Emotions Questionnaire (AEQ) Scale. The subject of this research involved 50 students of class XII junior high pandemic. The findings of this study prove the effectiveness of group counseling services with stress inoculation techniques to reduce students' academic anxiety in facing exams in the covid-19 pandemic era.

Abstract

EFFECTIVENESS OF GROUP GUIDANCE USING DISCUSSION TECHNIQUES TO INCREASE THE CONFIDENCE STUDENTS AT SMP. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance with discussion techniques to increase the confidence of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari for the academic year 2021/2022. This type of research is quantitative, using a pre-experimental design with the type of one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire with a population of all eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari. The sample in this study took 10 students from the population using purposive sampling technique, and the data analysis technique in this study used T-test analysis. The results showed that the provision of discussion technique group guidance services was effective in increasing students' self-confidence. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the value of t = -20,954 with p value = 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant effect of providing discussion technique group guidance services to increase the self-confidence of Class VIII students in SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari Academic Year 2021/2022. It is hoped that schools and guidance and counseling teachers can apply discussion technique group guidance services effectively so that they can increase students' self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to develop guidelines for empathetic communication methods for teachers and students in preventing gender bias microaggressions based on flip book media. This research method uses Hannafin and Peck's model development research. This development research applies steps starting from the stages of needs analysis, design, product development, material and media expert testing, revision, and user testing. The subjects of this study were 20 elementary school teachers in Makassar City. The research data collection technique uses a needs analysis questionnaire, expert validation, and user trials in the form of a Google form using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and reflective data analysis. The results showed that the teacher's level of need for digital guidance was 90% and was categorized as feasible through validation by media and material experts at 90% and through the user test process with a high level of media feasibility. This shows that the teach-smart digital guide is appropriate in reducing and preventing microaggressions caused by the teacher's gender bias behavior in the learning process.
