This study highlights the urgency and the efforts to implement this system. To attain these purposes, a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach was employed. The result show that: first, ISO 37001: 2016 has yet to be significantly implemented because there is no empirical evidence concerning the improvements in the quality of the bribery prevention. Since the Government Regulation Number 24 of 2018 on Electronically Integrated Business Licensing Services was enacted, a gap was evidently found from two stages which potentially lead to corruption practices. Those two stages are the process of commitment fulfillment by a number of businesses and the process of the investment supervision. This study explains how the potential of corruption occur and what kind of strategies can be apllied to eliminate it. For these purposes, qualitative descriptive method was employed. Meanwhile, the data collection technique was carried out by using interview, literature study, and documentation. The result shows that the main factor causing the corruption to arise in the licensing service is the intensity of face-to-face meetings between business actors and government officials. Some fulfillment commitment activities and virtual supervision can be carried out as a strategy to eliminate this potential. Every proof and documentation that must be fulfilled by business actors such as videos, photos and etc can be submitted online.

Hajj pilgrimage cost (Biaya Penyelenggaraan Ibadah Haji/BPIH) requires around IDR 14 trillion every year. BPIH consists of direct and indirect costs, in which the largest cost component is the airfare reaching 86% of pilgrim deposits in 2019. This study shows that there is BPIH inefficiency that is caused by the disorganized appointment of the embarkation points and the division of flight groups that does not optimize aircraft capacity and airport capabilities. Through the operation research approach, this study models optimization BPIH by determining regional allocations of the pilgrims to embarkation points. The study aims to provide an alternative decision making for the Ministry of Religion in implementing an embarkation zoning policy so that BPIH becomes more efficient, transparent, and free from corruption.

DOKA is the biggest source of corruption that has driven distric heads in Aceh to prison. This fact raises the question, how has the DOKA monitoring system been carried out and what is the impact on corruption eradication? This study aims to explain the DOKA monitoring system and its impact on corruption eradication. The theory used is the theory of Check and Balances and the theory of Willingness & Oppurtunity. This research is classified into qualitative research with descriptive analysis techniques. The main findings of the study indicate that DOKA is not being taken seriously. This can be seen in the absence of a special supervision system and the normal supervision system for DOKA is not optimal. In addition, there is no special institution that oversees the implementation of DOKA. Such a supervisory system has no impact on corruption eradication. It needs serious improvement and a comprehensive evaluation of the use and distribution of DOKA for the realization of social welfare in Aceh.

This article attempts to examine the relationship between election malpractice and corruption by focusing on analyzing frauds in the vote counting and recapitulation process in the 2019 Indonesian Election, specifically in the legislative election. This study tries to fill in the gaps in literature that examines electoral malpractice in Indonesia which is seen more at the campaign stage rather than the vote counting and recapitulation stages in which the role of election management body is very central. To analyze this, this study analyses more specifically the involvement of the General Election Commission (KPU) as election organizer in electoral malpractice. Using document analysis and case study method, this study found that the vote recapitulation stage, especially at the district level, is the most prone phase to electoral malpractice where the involvement of the ad-hoc election administrator and candidates’ witness play an important role there.

Buru District has been developed since 1970 as a transmigration area. The nuance of agriculture is characteristic of Buru Regency so that it is designated as a national rice granary area. However, since gold was discovered in Mount Botak and Gogrea in 2011, Buru Regency has turned into an illegal gold mining area. As a result, there is massive environmental damage and pollution caused by the use of cyanide and mercury by illegal miners. To overcome this problem, the Maluku Provincial Government is working with a third party (private) to normalize and restore the environment in ex-illegal mining, but the cooperation is prone to corruption. The purpose of this research is to prevent corruption in this sector. The research method uses Social Network Analysis, the data is qualitative. The research findings show that cooperation between the Maluku Provincial government and third parties (private) who are prone to corruption can be prevented by mapping the vulnerability of corruption to determine the pattern of relations between cooperative actors who tend to be easily bribed so that a cooperation model that does not have corruption implications can be obtained. Key words: Corruption; Mining; Cooperation; Local government; Private;

The local election as an electoral competition cannot be separated from the threat of money politics. This study tries to identify the amount of money politics received by voters in the Pemilukada. This is important considering that there are no clear parameters in calculating the real costs incurred by candidates in the Pemilukada. The results of the study indicate that sociocultural factors play an important role in the local elections in Riau. This study also found that there are three types of clientelistic relationships that are built, namely ethnicity-based relationships, broker-based relationships, and constituent service-based relationships.

The large number of corruption cases whose funds flow to political parties becomes a problem when regulations cannot trap them. This brings awareness to create an ideal law enforcement design against criminal acts of corruption by political parties. As for the law enforcement design that initiated, reducing state financial assistance to the party; prohibition of participating in elections; and dissolution of political parties followed by restrictions on the rights of former officials to carry out political-based activities. This is accompanied by a broad and progressive interpretation by law enforcers to define political parties as corporations.
