Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, as shown by ChatGPT, has led to innovative modes of social interaction that may influence users' psychological well-being. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the frequency of ChatGPT usage and feelings of loneliness among Indonesian university students. With a quantitative correlational design and purposive sampling, 208 active ChatGPT users completed the ChatGPT Usage Intensity Scale and the UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3. The Kolmogorov–Smirnov normality test, Spearman's Rho correlation test, and non-parametric difference tests (the Mann–Whitney U and Kruskal–Wallis tests) were used to analyze the data. The findings indicated that the data were not normally distributed, necessitating the use of non-parametric analyses. There was a strong and significant positive correlation between loneliness and how frequently ChatGPT was used (r = 0.807; p < 0.001), which means that people who were lonelier used ChatGPT more. Difference tests also showed that there were differences between genders and academic semesters (p < 0.05). Women and students in later semesters reported higher levels of usage and loneliness. These results suggest that too much dependence on ChatGPT may exacerbate feelings of loneliness among students, despite its capacity as an useful tool for digital communication and emotional engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 010/IX Muaro Jambi, pada kelas V. Bentuk pada penelitian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas atau PTK. Data pada penelitian ini didapat dengan cara melaksanakan observasi serta wawancara. Sesudah itu data dianalisis secara kualitatif serta kuantitatif. Penelitian ini diberlangsungkan dalam dua siklus, dengan empat tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi. Berdasrkan hasil penelitian sesudahpenerapan media Khan Academy dapat meningkatkan kemandirian siswa kelas V SD Negeri 10/1 X Muaro Jambi. Hasil dari siklus I pertemuan pertama memperoleh presentase sebesar 53,97% dengan kategori “rendah”, sedangkan dalam siklus I pertemuan kedua didapatkan presentase yakni 60,51% dengan kategori “sedang” dengan peningkatan sebesar 6,53%. Dalam siklus II pertemuan pertama didapat persentase sebesar 69,60% dengan kategori “sedang” dimana terdapat kenaikan sebesar 9,09%, serta untuk siklus II pertemuan kedua mendapatkan persentase yakni 79,54% berada dalam kategori “Tinggi” dengan kenaikan sebesar 9,94%. Hasil dalam pertemuan kedua siklus II sudah menggapai persentase perolehan indikator keberhasilan, yakni 70%. Melalui hasil penelitian ini bisa ditarik sebuah kesimpulan bahwasanya Penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis Khan Academy mampu meningkatkan kemandirian siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika di SD. Hal tersebut mampu dibuktikan dengan terjadinya peningkatan tiap indikator kemandirian siswa pada setiap siklus pertemuannya

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Academic Achievement, Self-Efficacy, and Peer Environment on the interest in continuing education to higher education among 12th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak. This type of research is quantitative. The study has a population of 152 students. The technique used in this study is Proportional Random Sampling, due to the population size of 152 students. The data collection technique used is through filling out questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with hypothesis testing, namely Partial Test (t-Test), Simultaneous Test (F-Test), and the coefficient of Determination. Based on the data analysis, the resukts indicate that Academic Achievement, Self-Efficay, dan Peer Environment have a positive and significant influence on students’ interest in pursing higher education among Grade XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of female Qur’an memorizers in the process of developing spiritual discipline at Ma’had Ibnu Zubair. The research focuses on how tahfizh activities and the daily structure of ma’had life contribute to shaping students’ patterns of discipline, perseverance, and self-regulation. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed to uncover the subjective meanings participants attach to tahfizh practices as a form of spiritual training. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation of the ma’had’s development programs, involving eight female Qur’an memorizers and one musyrifah. Thematic analysis was used to identify meaningful patterns related to motivation, challenges, habituation strategies, and transformations in spiritual behavior. The findings indicate that tahfizh activities not only enhance memorization quality but also cultivate disciplined living patterns, strengthen spiritual awareness, and improve self-control. The study concludes that the tahfizh-based training at Ma’had Ibnu Zubair significantly contributes to the reinforcement of students’ spiritual discipline and may serve as a model for developing spiritually oriented educational practices in independent tahfizh institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to improve volleyball learning outcomes through the modification of the hanging ball game for Grade XI students of SMA Frater Palopo. The hanging ball modification was implemented to address low student learning outcomes, increase motivation, and create an active and enjoyable learning environment. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method consisting of two cycles, each including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 20 Grade XI students, consisting of 12 male and 8 female students. The results showed an improvement in learning mastery in the aspects of knowledge, skills, and attitudes after the implementation of the hanging ball modification. In Cycle I, mastery levels for knowledge, skills, and attitudes reached 48%, 60%, and 72%, respectively. In Cycle II, the mastery levels increased to 84% for knowledge, 96% for skills, and 100% for attitudes. The application of the hanging ball modification proved effective in improving student learning outcomes in volleyball learning, with significant improvements observed in each cycle, indicating enhanced learning results and active student participation.

Abstract

Muhamad Ramadan. 037121050. This research is a Research and Development (R&D), which is a series of systematic activities carried out to create new products, services, or processes or develop and improve existing products, services, or processes based on research findings. The ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research aims to develop E-LKPD with the help of a Wizer.me application about Energy Transformation Around Us. This research was conducted at Dewi Sartika 3 State Elementary School, Bogor City in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. In this study, validation tests were carried out on E-LKPD products by media, language, and material experts. The validation results by media experts obtained 85% with very feasible criteria, language experts obtained 98% with very feasible criteria, and by material experts 92% with very feasible criteria. The results of the student response questionnaire were 97% with a very good category. This demonstrates that the developed e-LKPD can be used by students in the learning process at school. The results indicate that the e-LKPD, supported by the Wizer.me application, is an effective and practical application for learning about energy transformation around us. This application can increase interaction, increase student enthusiasm and interest in learning, and facilitate teachers in creating online assignments, thus increasing student enthusiasm and active participation in learning. It can also facilitate teachers in conducting evaluations during learning.

Abstract

Provinsi Riau is a province in Indonesia located on the east coast of the central part of Sumatra Island. Its coastal area borders the Selat Malaka (Malacca Strait). Until 2004, this province also included the Kepulauan Riau (Riau Islands), a large group of small islands (the main islands include Pulau Batam and Pulau Bintan) situated to the east of Sumatra and south of Singapore. These islands were separated to become their own province in July 2004. The capital and largest city of Provinsi Riau is Pekanbaru, and the next largest city after Pekanbaru is Dumai. Currently, Riau is one of the richest provinces in Indonesia, with its resources dominated by natural sources, especially petroleum, natural gas, rubber, palm oil, and fiber plantations. Along with the abundance of its natural resources, Riau is also well known for being rich in traditions and culture, both physical and non-physical, which are inherent in the Masyarakat Riau (Riau community) itself. One of the physical cultures in Riau is the traditional Malay clothing of Riau and its traditional games. The community in Riau is dominated by the Malay ethnic group, which is also influenced by the Malay cultures in Sumatra, Malaysia, and Singapore due to the proximity of the regions. This is marked by similarities in clothing styles that have their own distinct characteristics. The Riau community usually wears their traditional clothing during major events, such as traditional ceremonies, public holidays, official events, as well as traditional games that are commonly seen among the community.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a holy book revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW. In addition to being a guide, the Qur'an can also be memorized in detail by humans, both in terms of letters, words, and punctuation. The Qur'an is a book whose language is preserved and guaranteed by Allah SWT. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the muroja'ah method in improving the quality of Qur'an memorization among students at Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of muroja'ah activities. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the muroja'ah method is carried out through several systematic stages, namely daily muroja'ah, monthly muroja'ah, and monthly muroja'ah with memorization targets adjusted to the abilities of the students. The findings indicate that the muroja'ah method has a significant impact on improving the quality of students' memorization, as seen in terms of the strength of memorization, accuracy of recitation (tajwid), and fluency in repeating memorization. Factors supporting the success of this method include student discipline, instructor competence, a structured schedule, and a conducive boarding school environment. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors found include time constraints and varying levels of concentration among students. This study concludes that the muroja'ah method is an effective strategy in maintaining and improving the quality of Al-Qur'an memorization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas latihan circuit training dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani atlet sepak bola. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen one group pretest–posttest dengan melibatkan 20 atlet yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Program circuit training dilaksanakan selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali latihan per minggu, mencakup rangkaian latihan kekuatan, daya tahan, kecepatan, dan kelincahan. Pengukuran kebugaran jasmani meliputi tes VO₂max, sprint 30 meter, sit-up, push-up, dan agility test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada seluruh komponen kebugaran jasmani setelah mengikuti program latihan, terutama pada daya tahan kardiovaskular yang tercermin dari peningkatan nilai VO₂max. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa circuit training merupakan metode latihan yang efektif dan komprehensif dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani atlet sepak bola, sehingga direkomendasikan sebagai bagian dari program latihan rutin

Abstract

Language learning is a crucial phase in human cognitive development, as described in the revelations of the Qur'an. Verse QS. Al-Baqarah/ 2:31 illustrates how Allah SWT gave Prophet Adam As knowledge of the names (of objects) as a form of scientific initiation, which provides deep inspiration regarding a holistic and direct approach to language learning. This study aims to compare the inspirational approach of this verse with the Direct Method (DM) in modern language teaching, which prioritizes the direct use of the target language without translation, through verbal, visual, and real-life context interactions. The research methodology is qualitative with a hermeneutic approach, which involves the interpretation of the Qur'an (based on sources such as Tafsir Ibn Kathir and Tafsir al-Mishbah) and pedagogical literature analysis. The comparison focuses on key learning elements, such as the rejection of rigid and traditional grammatical methods, and an emphasis on direct experience and natural repetition to build language competence. The results of the study reveal similarities and differences between the two approaches: both emphasize direct experience and authentic interaction, but inspiration from the Qur'an enriches the Direct Method (DM) with a spiritual dimension, in which the learning process is seen as a divine mandate that triggers intrinsic motivation. The practical implications include the integration of Qur’an values.
