Abstract

This article discusses the philosophical foundations of Personalized Learning or Differentiated Instruction in the context of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. Differentiated learning is an essential approach aligned with the ideals of national education that centers on the learner, particularly as inherited from Ki Hajar Dewantara, who emphasized the natural potential of children and the freedom to learn. This study employs a literature review method to analyze the interrelation between the philosophies of Humanism, Constructivism, and Progressivism with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum and the practice of differentiated learning. The results indicate that Differentiated Instruction is not merely a pedagogical strategy but a manifestation of a philosophical belief that every learner is a unique individual with diverse readiness levels, interests, and learning profiles. The Merdeka Curriculum, through its focus on developing the Profil Pelajar Pancasila (Pancasila Student Profile) and promoting teacher autonomy, provides adequate space for the implementation of differentiation in content, process, and product. Philosophically, this approach aims to realize learning freedom (student autonomy) and educational equity (equal opportunities for all students to achieve their maximum potential), which are the core pillars of the Merdeka Belajar policy. Despite challenges in implementation—such as teacher readiness and resource availability—a strong understanding of these philosophical foundations is crucial to ensure that differentiation practices are applied holistically rather than merely administratively. Artikel ini membahas landasan filosofis dari Pembelajaran Personalisasi atau Pembelajaran Diferensiasi (Differentiated Instruction) dalam konteks implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pendekatan esensial yang sejalan dengan cita-cita pendidikan nasional yang berpusat pada peserta didik, khususnya yang diwariskan oleh Ki Hajar Dewantara, yang menekankan pada kodrat anak dan kemerdekaan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur untuk menganalisis keterkaitan filosofi pendidikan Humanisme, konstruktivisme dan progresivisme dengan prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka dan praktik pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran Diferensiasi tidak hanya sekadar strategi pedagogis, tetapi merupakan manifestasi dari keyakinan filosofis bahwa setiap peserta didik adalah individu unik dengan kesiapan, minat, dan profil belajar yang beragam. Kurikulum Merdeka, melalui penekanan pada pengembangan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan otonomi guru, memberikan ruang yang memadai bagi implementasi diferensiasi konten, proses, dan produk. Secara filosofis, penerapan pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan kemerdekaan belajar (otonomi siswa) dan keadilan pendidikan (kesempatan yang setara bagi semua siswa untuk mencapai potensi maksimal mereka), yang merupakan pilar utama dari kebijakan Merdeka Belajar. Meskipun terdapat tantangan implementasi yang meliputi kesiapan guru dan sumber daya, pemahaman yang kuat terhadap fondasi filosofis ini krusial untuk memastikan praktik diferensiasi dilakukan secara holistik, bukan sekedar administratif.

Abstract

This study stemmed from the low science and literacy skills of early childhood students at TK Muslimat NU 45 Malang, attributed to the prevalence of conventional learning methods and the lack of concrete visual media. This research aims to develop "SALIRA Interactive Video" learning media based on the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) approach and to assess its feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness. The method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of this research were all 39 students at TK Muslimat NU 45 Malang. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, practicality response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Validation results indicated that the product falls into the "Very Feasible" category with an average score of 90.75%. The practicality test yielded a score of 94.0%, categorized as "Very Practical." The effectiveness test results demonstrated a significant increase in the average science ability score from 54.5 to 86.0, and literacy ability from 56.0 to 88.5. It is concluded that the STEAM-based SALIRA Interactive Video is feasible and effective for enhancing early childhood science and literacy skills.

Abstract

Learning assessment does not solely focus on the cognitive domain but also includes the affective domain, which relates to students’ attitudes, values, and character development. This article aims to explore the concept of affective learning outcomes, the various affective domains according to Krathwohl’s Taxonomy, relevant operational verbs, and several assessment instruments such as Likert, Thurstone, Guttman, semantic differential, and rating scales. This study employs a descriptive approach using library research by analyzing various academic references. The results indicate that affective assessment plays a crucial role in shaping students’ personality and character. The appropriate use of assessment instruments enables educators to evaluate students’ attitudes and behaviors more objectively, systematically, and comprehensively. Therefore, affective assessment functions not only as an evaluation tool but also as a means of character formation based on moral and spiritual values.

Abstract

Haerul. Strategi Peningkatan Peranan BUMDes Bance’e Bagi Petani Di Desa Lappa Upang Kec. Mare Kab. Bone Pembimbing : Hasriliandi Halim dan Adam Rahman Suradi BUMDes Bance’e sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Desa Lappa Upang memiliki peran strategis dalam menggerakkan roda perekonomian desa, salah satunya melalui sektor pertanian yang merupakan potensi utama di wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mnegetahui Strategi Peranan BUMDes Di Desa Lappa Upang Kec. Mare Kab. Bone. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian Deskriptif Kuantitatif. Tempat penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Lappa Upang Kecamatan Mare Kabupaten Bone. Populasi dan teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengurus BUMDes Desa Lappa Upang Kecamatan Mare Kabupaten Bone yang berjumlah 5 orang. Instrument pendukung yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner. Analis yang digunakan yaitu analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal pada posisi Strengths memiliki bobot nilai sebesar, yaitu ( 2,01 ) dan Weaknesses sebesar ( 0,60 ), sedangkan faktor eksternalnya mencakup Opportunities dan threats dengan bobot nilai Opportunities sebesar (2,62 ) dan pada posisi Threats memiliki bobot nilai sebesar ( 1,65 ), sehingga posisi usaha BUMDes Bance’e Desa Lappa Upang bisa dikatakan cukup baik, karena posisi Strengths dan Opportunities memiliki bobot nilai yang lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan berdasarkan bobot nilai Threats dan Weaknesses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition) berbasis deep learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi Bahasa Indonesia siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental tipe pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian adalah 60 siswa kelas V dari tiga Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Majalengka. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes literasi Bahasa Indonesia, angket respon siswa dan guru, serta observasi aktivitas belajar. Hasil analisis paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 67,45 menjadi 84,12 (p < 0,05), dibandingkan kelompok kontrol yang meningkat dari 66,88 menjadi 75,34. Respon siswa dan guru juga menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan tinggi terhadap efektivitas dan interaktivitas pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, model AIR berbasis deep learning terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi Bahasa Indonesia serta relevan dengan tuntutan kompetensi abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pedagogi berbasis pengulangan bermakna untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang inklusif, interaktif, dan berkelanjutan di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of tahfidz instructors in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an memorization of students at the Al-Kaukabul Munir As'adiyah Islamic Boarding School, while identifying supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as the instructor's contribution to the tahfidz process. Through a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation methods, this study shows that tahfidz instructors have a strategic role in preparing memorization schedules, tahsin and tahfidz guidance, implementing routine evaluations, and creating a conducive learning environment. Supporting factors for students' success include intrinsic motivation, memory skills, and family support, while obstacles that arise include lack of motivation, concentration disorders, psychological stress, and limited learning environment conditions. The research findings confirm that the instructor's contribution has a significant effect on increasing the quantity and quality of memorization, motivation, independence, and the formation of students' spiritual character, so that improving instructor competence is an important aspect for the success of the tahfidz program as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to design an integrative learning model combining Indonesian Language and Arts for third-grade students at SDN Kupu 02 Wanasari, Brebes through the project “Energy-Saving Posters and Environmental Stories” within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. The learning problem identified is the separation between language and arts learning, low literacy and expressive skills, limited differentiation practices, and the lack of authentic assessment. The purpose of this study is to enhance students’ literacy, visual creativity, collaboration, and environmental awareness through contextual, project-based, and differentiated instruction. The methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing data from classroom observations, student products, teacher interviews, and relevant literature. The learning design applies Project Based Learning (PjBL), collaborative learning, contextual teaching, and differentiation of content, process, and product. The expected outcomes include improved reading comprehension and writing of persuasive messages, increased creativity in producing visual posters, strengthened communication and collaboration skills, and the development of environmental responsibility aligned with the Profile of Pancasila Students. The results show that integrative and project-based learning enables students to express ideas through multimodal texts, work effectively in groups, and demonstrate higher engagement in language and arts activities. Furthermore, authentic assessment provides a more comprehensive understanding of students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. This study concludes that collaborative and differentiated learning designs significantly enrich meaningful learning experiences and support the development of literacy, creativity, and ecological awareness in primary school students.

Abstract

The problem of post-harvest fruit waste and the rising cost of inorganic fertilizers pose challenges for farmers in Itterung Village. Extension activities and demonstrations of making liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from rotten fruit were carried out to improve farmers' knowledge and skills in utilizing local organic waste as a valuable cultivation input. The methods used included interactive lectures, group discussions, direct demonstrations (demonstration plots/DEMPLOT), and follow-up assistance. The main ingredients of POC are rotten fruit, sugar/molasses, fermented for 7–15 days. Indicators of success were measured through pre-post tests, practical observations, and technology adoption. The results of the activity showed an increase in participant knowledge (10% to 40%), the formation of a village POC working group, and initial production of approximately 2 liters of POC. A simple analysis showed the potential for fertilizer cost savings of up to 15% per planting season. This activity effectively reduced organic waste, reduced farming costs, and increased farmer capacity.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi media Shop Smart berbasis pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata sederhana pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri 2 Pulau Geronggang. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengenal kosakata benda sehari-hari akibat pembelajaran konvensional yang masih berpusat pada guru. Media Shop Smart yang memadukan kartu gambar, kartu kata, audio, serta simulasi kegiatan jual-beli diterapkan untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret, interaktif, dan bermakna. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Shop Smart mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, motivasi, serta pemahaman kosakata siswa. Siswa terlibat aktif melalui permainan peran sebagai penjual dan pembeli sehingga mampu menggunakan kosakata dalam konteks nyata. Data evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan penguasaan kosakata dari 3–5 kata sebelum tindakan menjadi 8–12 kata setelah beberapa kali pertemuan. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa media Shop Smart yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam efektif dalam memperkuat penguasaan kosakata sederhana serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi siswa kelas rendah. Dengan demikian, media ini dapat dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam pengembangan kosakata dasar. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of the Shop Smart media based on a deep learning approach in improving the mastery of basic vocabulary among first-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Pulau Geronggang. The research was motivated by the low ability of students to recognize everyday object vocabulary due to conventional, teacher-centered learning. The Shop Smart media, which integrates picture cards, word cards, audio, and a simulated buying–selling activity, was applied to provide a concrete, interactive, and meaningful learning experience. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the use of Shoop Smart media successfully enhanced students’ activeness, motivation, and vocabulary comprehension. Students participated actively through role-play activities as sellers and buyers, enabling them to use vocabulary in real-life contexts. Evaluation data show an increase in vocabulary mastery from 3–5 words before the intervention to 8–12 words after several sessions. These findings demonstrate that Shoop Smart media combined with a deep learning approach is effective in strengthening basic vocabulary acquisition and creating an enjoyable, meaningful learning atmosphere for lower-grade students. Therefore, this media can serve as an alternative instructional tool for Indonesian language learning in elementary schools, particularly in developing fundamental vocabulary skills.

Abstract

Effective leadership is very significant in developing the quality of education in schools, especially through the implementation of competitive academic programs. The Indonesian Madrasah Olympiad (OMI) program acts as a major initiative to facilitate student academic excellence in this context. The purpose of this study is to explore the importance of the principal's role in managing the OMI program in the madrasah environment, focusing on managerial, instructional, and transformational aspects of leadership. The method used in this study is a case study using a qualitative approach, as well as information gathering through interviews, direct observation, and documentation at a designated madrasah. The results of the study show that the principal actively motivates students and teachers, provides the necessary resources and financial support, and introduces innovative practices to improve academic quality. The OMI program has a positive impact on student motivation, teacher competence, and parent and community participation. A structured evaluation and follow-up system is implemented to ensure the continuity and improvement of the program's results. These findings confirm that efficient leadership from the principal is crucial in optimizing the implementation of academic competencies, which greatly contributes to improving the quality of education in madrasahs.
