Abstract

The use of digital platforms in elementary schools has become a necessity in supporting innovative learning; however, their implementation has not yet been fully optimized. This study aims to describe the utilization of digital platforms in supporting innovative learning in elementary schools. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design involving a classroom teacher and sixth-grade students of SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that Canva and YouTube were utilized in the learning process. Canva was used as the main learning medium accessed through QR codes to present learning materials and practice tasks completed through group discussions, while YouTube was used as a supporting medium to strengthen students’ understanding through instructional videos. However, digital platforms have not been utilized as learning assessment tools, as Quizizz was not implemented. These findings indicate that digital platform-based learning has supported innovative learning, although its implementation has not yet been comprehensive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan media flipbook dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD. Latar belakang dimulai dari siswa kesulitan membaca dan menulis permulaan. Penelitian menunjukkan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek terdiri dari kelas kontrol 20 siswa dan kelas eksperimen 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data didasarkan melalui tes dan angket. Hasil menunjukkan uji normalitas Sig < 0,05 data tidak terdistribusi normal, diperoleh hasil pretest kelas 1B (eksperimen) Sig. 0,074, postest (eksperimen) Sig. 0,231, pretest kelas 1A (kontrol) Sig 0,005, postest (kontrol) Sig. 0,001, sehingga pengujian hipotesis memakai uji nonparametrik yaitu Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test Sig. < 0,05 H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima maka hasil signifikan, Jika nilai Sig. > 0,05 H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak maka hasil tidak signifikan. diperoleh Pretest Postest Eksperimen 0,007 < 0,05 maka H1 diterima sedangkan Pretest Postest Kontrol 0,438 > 0,05 maka H1 ditolak jadi, antara pretest postest kelompok 1B (eksperimen) dan kelompok 1A (kontrol) ada perbedaan. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media flipbook memberi dampak terhadap keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar. Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought fundamental changes to various aspects of society, particularly in social, economic, and ethical dimensions. The emergence of the internet, artificial intelligence, social media, and other digital platforms has accelerated the flow of information, improved work efficiency, and created new opportunities in education and the economy. However, these advancements have also generated serious challenges, including the digital divide, violations of privacy, data security threats, the spread of misinformation, and excessive dependence on technology. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital technology on social, economic, and ethical aspects of society through a library research approach by reviewing relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that digital technology provides significant benefits for societal development, yet it requires careful management to minimize its negative consequences. Therefore, collaboration among governments, academics, and society is essential to ensure the responsible and sustainable use of digital technology. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of bullying on the psychological development of children at the primary education level, with the perspective of Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse 11. Bullying can harm children's psychological development in emotional, social, and character-building aspects. The verse teaches the importance of mutual respect and avoiding behavior that degrades others, which is relevant in addressing bullying in the school environment. The research method used is qualitative, with a literature review approach and text analysis. Data was gathered through a review of literature related to bullying and the interpretation of Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse 11. This study also involves observations regarding bullying behavior in primary school settings. The results indicate that bullying can lead to psychological disturbances in children, such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and difficulties in building social relationships. The perspective of Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse 11 offers social ethical values that emphasize the importance of maintaining harmony among individuals and avoiding behaviors that can harm social relationships. The conclusion of this study is that character education based on Quranic values, particularly those contained in Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse 11, can serve as a strong foundation for preventing and addressing bullying in primary schools. Efforts to prevent bullying through the development of character that emphasizes respect and mutual appreciation should be implemented in primary education to protect the psychological development of children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meneliti modul pembelajaran mandiri Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dengan topik "Hak dan Kewajiban Siswa" untuk siswa kelas III SD. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah menilai seberapa baik isi modul sesuai dengan pencapaian pembelajaran dalam kurikulum dan seberapa efektif modul ini dalam mendorong penerapan keseimbangan antara hak dan kewajiban di sekolah. Metodologi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan ini mencakup pengumpulan, pengelompokan, dan analisis data melalui evaluasi dokumen yang fokus pada elemen-elemen modul, termasuk struktur pembelajaran mandiri, faktor pedagogis, kejelasan, dan tingkat keterlibatan siswa. Sumber data primer berasal dari modul berjudul “Aku Patuh Aturan: Hak dan Kewajibanku di Sekolah” yang kemudian dijelaskan dengan cara sistematis berdasarkan standar yang ditetapkan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modul tersebut berhasil menggabungkan unsur-unsur Kurikulum Merdeka dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, khususnya dalam aspek berpikir kritis dan berkolaborasi. Implementasi model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dan penerapan media visual terbukti sangat membantu dalam mendukung siswa kelas III dalam memahami konsep-konsep abstrak mengenai hak dan kewajiban dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, modul ini juga terbukti efektif dalam membentuk sikap siswa yang seimbang antara menegaskan hak dan memenuhi kewajiban, contohnya menjaga kebersihan di lingkungan sekolah. Namun keberhasilan penerapan modul ini sangat bergantung pada disiplinan guru dalam mengorganisir waktu yang terbatas, yaitu 2 x 35 menit.

Abstract

The low level of public legal awareness and compliance remains a serious problem in social and national life. This condition has resulted in increased legal violations and a decline in public trust in the law itself. One effort that can be made to overcome this problem is through continuous and systematic legal education. This study aims to analyze the role of legal education in building public legal awareness and assess the effectiveness of legal education in increasing public compliance with the law. The research method used is a normative juridical method with a conceptual and legislative approach, supported by a library study of various literature, scientific journals, and relevant legal regulations. The results of the study indicate that legal education plays a strategic role in instilling legal values, increasing public understanding of their rights and obligations, and shaping law-abiding attitudes and behavior. Legal education conducted through formal, non-formal, and informal channels has been proven to be able to increase public legal awareness when accompanied by effective socialization and role models from law enforcement officers and community leaders. Furthermore, the effectiveness of legal education in increasing legal compliance is greatly influenced by the consistency of law enforcement and the relevance of legal education materials to social realities. Thus, legal education is a crucial instrument in creating a legally aware, orderly, and just society.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Pancasila education at the elementary school level plays a crucial role in shaping students’ character and identity within Indonesia’s diverse social and cultural context. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes character development through the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly the dimension of global diversity. This study aims to analyze the integration of diversity values and the formation of students’ identity in the Grade IV Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) learning module, specifically in Chapter Building Identity in Diversity. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through documentation study of the learning module. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to examine the alignment between learning objectives, materials, and activities with diversity values and the Pancasila Student Profile. The findings indicate that the Chapter 3 module systematically and contextually integrates diversity val ues through learning materials and activities closely related to students’ daily experiences. The module contributes to the development of students’ identity as tolerant, inclusive individuals with social awareness in a diverse society. Furthermore, the module aligns with the global diversity dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile and reflects the principles of multicultural education in elementary schools. Therefore, the Grade IV PPKn module serves as an effective instructional tool for strengthening character education and fostering students’ identity based on Pancasila values. ABSTRAK Pendidikan Pancasila pada jenjang sekolah dasar memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan jati diri peserta didik di tengah realitas keberagaman sosial dan budaya masyarakat Indonesia. Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan penguatan karakter melalui Profil Pelajar Pancasila, salah satunya melalui dimensi berkebhinekaan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis muatan nilai kebhinekaan serta pembentukan jati diri peserta didik dalam modul Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) kelas IV sekolah dasar pada Bab Membangun Jati Diri dalam Kebhinekaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi dokumentasi terhadap modul pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi untuk mengkaji kesesuaian materi, aktivitas pembelajaran, dan tujuan pembelajaran dengan nilai kebhinekaan dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul PPKn Bab 3 telah mengintegrasikan nilai kebhinekaan secara sistematis dan kontekstual melalui materi dan aktivitas pembelajaran yang dekat dengan kehidupan peserta didik. Modul ini juga berperan dalam membangun jati diri peserta didik sebagai individu yang toleran, inklusif, dan memiliki kesadaran hidup bermasyarakat dalam keberagaman. Selain itu, modul menunjukkan kesesuaian dengan dimensi berkebhinekaan global dalam Profil Pelajar Pancasila serta relevan dengan prinsip pendidikan multikultural di sekolah dasar. Dengan demikian, modul PPKn kelas IV dapat menjadi perangkat ajar yang efektif dalam mendukung penguatan karakter dan pembentukan jati diri peserta didik berbasis nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi program 7 Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat serta memaknai proses penguatan karakter siswa berbasis nilai-nilai Islam di SDN 04 Sanggau. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program 7 Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat diimplementasikan secara terintegrasi dalam budaya sekolah melalui pembiasaan religius, sosial, dan kebiasaan hidup sehat. Penguatan karakter dimaknai sebagai proses internalisasi nilai yang berlangsung secara bertahap melalui keteladanan, rutinitas harian, dan pengalaman sosial siswa. Kepala sekolah memaknai program sebagai upaya membangun ekosistem nilai, guru memaknainya sebagai proses pendampingan karakter yang menuntut konsistensi dan fleksibilitas pedagogis, sementara siswa memaknainya sebagai kebiasaan hidup yang melekat dalam keseharian sekolah. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya dinamika dan tantangan penguatan karakter yang dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang keluarga dan keterbatasan kesinambungan pembiasaan di luar sekolah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan karakter siswa memerlukan pendekatan kontekstual, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has led to an increase in gadget use among elementary school students, which raises concerns regarding its impact on children’s behavior and academic achievement. Excessive gadget use, particularly for non-educational purposes, is suspected to negatively affect students’ concentration, social interaction, emotional stability, and learning outcomes. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the effects of excessive gadget use on the behavior and academic performance of elementary school students. The research employs a literature review method by examining various relevant scientific articles, books, and previous studies published in recent years. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify patterns and findings related to gadget use intensity, behavioral changes, and learning achievement. The results indicate that excessive gadget use is closely associated with decreased learning concentration, reduced motivation, declining social interaction, emotional instability, and a tendency toward individualistic behavior. In addition, prolonged and uncontrolled gadget use contributes to sleep disturbances, which further impacts students’ readiness and academic performance at school. However, several studies show that the negative impacts may be mitigated through parental supervision, appropriate time management, and the use of gadgets for educational purposes. In conclusion, excessive gadget use has significant negative effects on both behavior and academic performance of elementary school students, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts between parents, teachers, and schools to regulate and guide children’s gadget use more wisely.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts in class II elementary school students through the application of the Picture and Picture learning model. The background to this research is students' low understanding of mathematical concepts which is often caused by conventional learning methods that are less interesting and innovative. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 8 class II students at SD Negeri 018 Laggini. Data was collected through learning results tests, teacher and student activity observation sheets, and interviews. The research results showed that there was a significant increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts after implementing the Picture and Picture learning model. In the first cycle of Meeting I, the percentage of student learning completion reached 50%, and increased to 62.5% in the first cycle of Meeting II. Continues to increase in Cycle II, meeting I by 75%. In cycle II, Meeting II reached 100%. Apart from that, student learning activities become more enthusiastic and participatory. This improvement is supported by the use of relevant and systematic image media in learning, thereby helping students construct their understanding visually. Thus, it can be concluded that the Picture and Picture learning model is effective in improving the ability to understand mathematical concepts in class II elementary school students.
