Abstract

This study aims to examine teachers’ efforts, challenges, and solutions in fostering the eight dimensions of the Graduate Profile, as well as the impact of its implementation on students at UPTD SD Inpres Sikumana 3. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through Likert-scale questionnaires administered to teachers and fifth-grade students. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including the number of respondents (N), minimum score, maximum score, mean, and standard deviation. The findings indicate that teachers’ efforts in fostering the eight dimensions of the Graduate Profile are categorized as high, while the challenges faced by teachers are at a moderate level. Meanwhile, the solutions implemented by teachers are categorized as very high, reflecting strong professional commitment in overcoming existing challenges. In addition, the implementation of the Graduate Profile shows a positive impact on students, which is categorized as high, particularly in terms of character development, learning attitudes, and basic competencies. Overall, this study demonstrates that consistent teachers’ efforts supported by effective solutions play a crucial role in optimizing the implementation of the Graduate Profile in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study explored the improvement of English speaking skills among higher education EFL students through the use of Omegle, a real-time interactive platform. Twenty Indonesian higher education EFL students participated in a one-month intervention that integrated Omegle into structured classroom activities. Data were collected through observations, pre- and post-tests, and semi-structured interviews. Quantitative results showed a notable improvement in speaking performance, with mean scores increasing from 48.2 in the pre-test to 72.5 in the post-test (t = 13.9, df = 19). Qualitative findings indicated that students became more confident, expanded their vocabulary, and spoke more fluently during spontaneous online conversations. These findings highlighted how combining digital platforms with classroom instruction fostered measurable progress in language proficiency. The study suggested that interactive, technology-assisted practice provided authentic, low-pressure opportunities for developing speaking skills, while future research could examine longer- term interventions and larger, more diverse student populations.

Abstract

Keterampilan motorik halus merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini, terutama bagi anak-anak berusia 5-6 tahun, karena keterampilan ini erat kaitannya dengan koordinasi tangan-mata dan kesiapan sekolah. Berdasarkan pengamatan awal yang dilakukan di TK Islam Az-Zahra Palembang, beberapa anak di Kelompok B mengalami kesulitan dalam aktivitas motorik halus seperti memotong, menempel, melipat, dan menulis. Kesulitan ini disebabkan oleh variasi yang terbatas dalam aktivitas belajar dan kurangnya stimulasi yang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak-anak melalui aktivitas montase. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berdasarkan model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang terdiri dari dua siklus yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 14 anak berusia 5-6 tahun di Kelompok B di TK Islam Az-Zahra Palembang. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan motorik halus anak-anak dari tahap pra-siklus ke Siklus I dan peningkatan lebih lanjut pada Siklus II. Aktivitas montase secara efektif meningkatkan koordinasi tangan-mata anak-anak melalui kegiatan memotong, menempel, dan mengatur gambar, sekaligus meningkatkan fokus dan antusiasme mereka dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas montase efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak-anak Kelompok B di TK Islam Az-Zahra Palembang.

Abstract

This research explores the implementation of marketing management in the new student admission process (PPDB) at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Ihsan Peninjauan, Maro Sebo Ulu District, Batang Hari Regency. This qualitative study with a case study approach aims to analyze marketing strategies, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate strategic solutions to improve PPDB effectiveness. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the madrasah principal, vice principal for student affairs, PPDB committee, teachers, students, and parents, complemented by participatory observation and documentation. Data analysis employed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that PPDB marketing management is not yet optimal, with the implementation of the 7P marketing mix still being conventional. Supporting factors include HR commitment, strong Islamic values, community leader support, and affordable costs. Inhibiting factors include location limitations, promotional budget constraints, lack of marketing competence among HR, intense competition, limited facilities, and suboptimal utilization of digital technology. Recommended strategic solutions include social media optimization, official website development, HR training, development of superior programs, and establishment of an integrated marketing management system to enhance madrasah competitiveness in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the values ​​of Kercengan culture as a means of character education to increase the emotional resilience of female students at the Ibnu Katsir Islamic Boarding School in Jember. Kercengan culture, as a local cultural heritage of Bawean, contains noble values ​​such as togetherness, solidarity, mutual respect, social support, and spirituality. This study uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The research subjects involved female students and their mentors at the Ibnu Katsir Islamic Boarding School in Jember. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires which were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively descriptively. The results of the study indicate that the integration of Kercengan Culture values ​​in learning activities and emotional development can increase students' awareness of personal, social, and spiritual emotional resilience. Students become better at carrying out daily tasks or activities at the boarding school, and show initiative in Islamic boarding school life. Expert validity tests and user responses indicate that the development product based on Kercengan cultural values ​​is feasible and effective to be applied as an emotional education medium. This study emphasizes the importance of revitalizing cultural values ​​as a contextual strategy in emotional education in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Perilaku kerja inovatif guru menjadi salah satu kunci keberhasilan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di era transformasi digital. Namun, pada kenyataannya, masih terdapat guru yang belum optimal dalam menunjukkan perilaku inovatif, baik dalam pemanfaatan teknologi maupun pengembangan metode pembelajaran. Kondisi ini diduga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat motivasi kerja, penggunaan teknologi informasi, serta budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja dan penggunaan teknologi informasi terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif guru dengan budaya sekolah sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Subjek penelitian adalah guru SMA di Kecamatan Pati yang dipilih melalui teknik sampling yang sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan penggunaan teknologi informasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif guru. Selain itu, budaya sekolah juga terbukti berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang dapat memengaruhi motivasi kerja dan penggunaan teknologi informasi terhadap perilaku inovatif guru. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa perilaku kerja inovatif tidak hanya dibentuk oleh faktor individu dan teknologi, tetapi juga sangat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan budaya sekolah yang kondusif. Oleh karena itu, penguatan motivasi kerja, optimalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, serta pengembangan budaya sekolah yang positif menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan perilaku kerja inovatif guru secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study examines the important role of sociological theory in education, focusing on its contribution to strengthening the function of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Education is not only understood as a means of transferring knowledge, but also as a medium for the formation of morals and character, and a driver of social change. The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical understanding of the relevance of sociological theories, particularly structural functionalism, symbolic interactionism, conflict theory, and exchange theory, in supporting Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning practices. The research method used is a literature study by reviewing various relevant books and scientific articles. The analysis was conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach by connecting theoretical concepts with real phenomena in the practice of Islamic Religious Education in schools. The results show that functional theory emphasizes the role of PAI in creating social order and moral values, symbolic theory explains the meaning of religious interactions between teachers and students, conflict theory highlights the issue of unequal access to Islamic Religious Education, while exchange theory explains the reciprocal relationship that builds learning motivation. Thus, the integration of sociological theories contributes to the development of PAI that is more contextual, inclusive, and relevant to the challenges of the times.

Abstract

This study aims to produce digital flipbook teaching materials using Canva on the Harmony in Ecosystems topic for fifth-grade elementary school students that are valid and practical to use in science and science learning. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of validators, material experts, language experts, and media experts, as well as fifth-grade students in small group trials. Data collection techniques used validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the developed digital flipbook teaching materials obtained a very valid category based on expert assessments and were in the very practical category based on student responses. Thus, digital flipbook teaching materials using Canva are suitable for use as an alternative science and science learning media on the Harmony in Ecosystems topic for fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims at finding out the students' perceptions of the relationship between reason and revelation within the Islamic scientific paradigm, and how this understanding influences their thinking about science and spiritual values ​​in the modern era. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. This study was conducted at Muhammadiyah 1 High School in Makassar with a sample of 30 students. The results show that the majority of students understand reason and revelation as two complementary sources of knowledge. However, there is a tendency for some students to still separate rationality and religiousness in understanding science. This study emphasizes the need to integrate Islamic values ​​and rationality in the learning process to form a complete Islamic scientific paradigm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of practice-based learning models on students' learning interest in science subjects at SMP Negeri 2 South Galesong. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with a Likert scale questionnaire given to 30 students of class IX D through a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the practice-based learning model was able to increase students' learning interest, marked by increased enthusiasm, activeness, and understanding of students during experimental activities. Students were more motivated and involved when learning science concepts through direct experience. These findings confirm that practice-based learning is effective in strengthening students' learning interest.
