Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition experienced by adolescents and is often perceived merely as a physical problem, even though it can also lead to significant psychological and social impacts. Changes in appearance caused by acne may affect self-image, self-esteem, and social interactions during this vulnerable developmental stage. This study aims to comprehensively examine the psychological impact of acne vulgaris on adolescents within their social environment. The method employed was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach on 20 scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025 and retrieved from the Scopus, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases. The selected articles were analyzed using a mixed methods synthesis approach to integrate findings from quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method studies. The results indicate that acne vulgaris has a significant psychological impact on adolescents, particularly in the form of body image disturbances, reduced self-esteem, social anxiety, psychological stress, and an increased risk of depression. In addition, social stigma and environmental pressure play a role in exacerbating adolescents’ psychological conditions and encouraging withdrawal from social interactions. These findings emphasize that acne vulgaris is a biopsychosocial condition that affects adolescents’ mental well-being and quality of life, highlighting the need for holistic management that addresses dermatological, psychological, and social aspects.

This study aimed to develop and examine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of a website-based electronic module on narcotics to improve the learning motivation of Grade XI senior high school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were Grade XI students of SMAN 11 Sarolangun, divided into an experimental class and a control class. Research instruments included expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student practicality questionnaires, and a learning motivation questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis and inferential statistics through an independent samples t-test. The results showed that the developed website-based electronic module was categorized as highly feasible based on evaluations by material, media, and language experts, and highly practical according to teachers’ and students’ responses. The effectiveness test indicated that students in the experimental class demonstrated higher learning motivation than those in the control class. Statistical analysis revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in learning motivation between the two groups. Therefore, the website-based electronic module is effective as a learning medium to enhance students’ learning motivation.

The low level of participation of ninth-grade students in religious value development activities at State Junior High School 30 Sarolangun Regency indicates problems in fostering students’ spiritual intelligence. This condition is influenced by various factors, both internal, such as students’ motivation and religious awareness, and external factors, including family, school, and community environments. Therefore, the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education teachers is crucial in designing and implementing learning and guidance strategies that can effectively enhance students’ spiritual intelligence. This study aims to describe and analyze the strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving students’ spiritual intelligence at State Junior High School 30 Sarolangun Regency, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education teachers apply various strategies, such as habituation of worship practices, role modeling, integration of spiritual values into classroom learning, and religious extracurricular activities. These strategies contribute to improving students’ religious awareness and spiritual intelligence, although several obstacles remain, including limited environmental support and inadequate facilities. This study is expected to serve as a reference for schools, teachers, and stakeholders in enhancing the quality of students’ spiritual development

Study employs a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The purpose of this research is to develop a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) design assisted by Wordwall media and to determine its effectiveness in improving the mathematical problem-solving skills of fifth-grade elementary school students, specifically on the topic of simple fractions. The research instruments include validation sheets from material and media experts, mathematical problem-solving skill tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, testing, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques included qualitative descriptive analysis for validation and observation data, as well as quantitative descriptive analysis for test and questionnaire data, including the calculation of the N-Gain score to measure the improvement in students' problem-solving skills. The results showed an increase in the students' average score from 72.14 in the pretest to 90.71 in the posttest, with an N-Gain value of 0.69, categorized as "medium." The development stage results indicated that the designed learning model is highly feasible, with material validation reaching 89% and media validation reaching 92%. The implementation of Wordwall-assisted Problem-Based Learning successfully enhanced students' activeness, focus, and engagement in the mathematics learning process. Thus, the developed learning design is declared effective and feasible for use in elementary schools.

This study aimed to improve the early writing skills of second-grade students through the use of problematic word card manipulatives. The research employed a classroom action research design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles involving 18 second-grade students at MI Tegallame. The problematic word cards were designed as a medium for language error analysis, enabling students to identify, evaluate, and revise writing errors independently. Data were collected through writing tests and classroom observations. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ writing skills, with average scores increasing from 47.78 in the pre-cycle stage to 67.22 in Cycle I and 82.50 in Cycle II. Learning mastery also increased, reaching 82.50% in Cycle II. These findings indicate that problematic word card manipulatives effectively enhance early writing skills through an analytical learning approach that emphasizes students’ active cognitive engagement in the writing process.

This study aimed to develop and examine the effectiveness of an interactive e-module integrated with local wisdom and Problem Based Learning (PBL) to enhance elementary school students’ critical thinking skills in learning IPAS, particularly on the topic of changes in the states of matter. The research employed a research and development (R&D) approach, encompassing needs analysis, product design, development, expert validation, revision, and field testing. The product was validated by experts in content, media, and language to ensure its feasibility before implementation. The effectiveness of the e-module was tested using a quasi-experimental design involving an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through critical thinking pretests and posttests and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent and paired t-tests, and N-Gain analysis. The results indicated that the data met the assumptions for parametric testing. Findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills in the experimental class compared to the control class. The experimental group achieved a higher N-Gain score, indicating that the interactive e-module integrated with local wisdom and PBL was more effective than conventional learning. These results suggest that integrating local cultural contexts with problem-based learning and interactive multimedia can create meaningful learning experiences and effectively foster critical thinking skills in elementary science education

This study aims to describe the project-based learning model on the learning interests of fourth-grade students at SDN Made 1 Surabaya in the subject of plane geometry. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were 25 teachers and students. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model was able to foster student learning interests, as demonstrated by several indicators: increased student attention during learning, active involvement, interest in the material, and a feeling of enjoyment in participating in the learning process. Furthermore, the teacher's role as a facilitator in guiding and directing students during the learning process also supported the successful implementation of the Project-Based Learning model. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Project-Based Learning model is effective in increasing student learning interests in the subject of plane geometry composition in elementary schools.

This study examines the implementation of Google Sites as an interactive and collaborative learning medium in the digital era. The research explores how the platform is utilized to present learning materials, facilitate interaction, and support student collaboration. The objective is to describe the effectiveness of Google Sites in enhancing learning engagement and to assess its function as an accessible instructional management tool. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, content analysis of learning pages, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that Google Sites is able to provide an organized material structure, responsive collaborative features, and multimedia integration that enhances conceptual understanding. Students reported a more independent and directed learning experience, while teachers found it easier to organize, update, and monitor learning activities. This study contributes by mapping the detailed use of Google Sites in the context of digital learning and providing technical recommendations for optimizing this platform at other educational levels and for further research.

This research is motivated by the problem arising from the lack of innovation in Pancasila Education Learning, where the use of teaching materials is still limited to printed forms and the minimal use of digital technology has the potential to hinder the achievement of learning objectives, especially in realizing the Pancasila Student Profile. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a valid, practical, and effective e-module assisted by Book Creator in Pancasila Education Learning in Grade V of Elementary Schools so as to improve student understanding and involvement in the learning process. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The Trial Subject was conducted at SDN 36 Cengkeh, then continued with research at SDN 30 Cengkeh and implemented at SDN 18 Kampung Baru for fifth grade elementary school students. The results of the research on the development of E-Modules Assisted by Book Creator in Pancasila Education Learning in Fifth Grade Elementary School are valid with an overall validation percentage of 92.95% in the Very Valid category. For the overall results of teacher practicality, the percentage obtained was 90.52% in the Very Practical category and the overall results of student practicality obtained a percentage of 91.70% in the Very Practical category. In addition, this E-Module assisted by Book Creator has also proven effective in improving student learning outcomes on the material "Various Norms in My Life". Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the E-Module Assisted by Book Creator in Pancasila Education Learning in Fifth Grade Elementary School is declared valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process. This study aims to collect information regarding the evaluation of integrated archives management reaching regional and village apparatuses in the Archives and Library Service of West Pasaman Regency. The descriptive method that will be used aims to explain the variables and objects studied with data obtained in the field using theories that have been studied so that conclusions can be drawn from the data obtained. The results of the study indicate that integrated archives management reaching regional and village apparatuses in the Archives and Library Service of West Pasaman has a very high level of effectiveness contextually, effectiveness in the input aspect is considered quite adequate, and support in the form of Regent Regulations and commitment of the leadership of the Archives Service is a major strength. The implementation of innovation through the “jemput bola” method or direct mentoring has proven effective in transferring archival knowledge to the Nagari apparatus. As well as product evaluation is very effective, tangible results are seen from the creation of a systematic archive search list and an increase in the speed of archive retrieval.
