Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of mosque-based Islamic education in empowering industrial communities with a case study at the YATAMAM Mosque in Manyar, Gresik. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of mosque administrators and the surrounding community. The results show that the YATAMAM Mosque has undergone a transformation in function from a center for ritual worship to a center for integrative Islamic education that includes religious education, formal education, economic empowerment, and community-based social services. This transformation is relevant to Jack Mezirow's Transformative Learning theory, which emphasizes changes in community awareness and perspectives through religious reflection and social praxis. In addition, the research findings are also in line with Azyumardi Azra's ideas on Islamic education reform, which emphasize the integration of Islamic traditions with modernity and social needs. From a community development perspective, mosques play a role as agents of community empowerment through partnerships with industry and the strengthening of the congregation's economy. The novelty of this research lies in the findings of a mosque-based Islamic education transformation model that integrates religious education, industrial waste management, and modern institutional governance into a single mosque ecosystem in an industrial area. The implications of this transformation contribute to strengthening the religiosity, economic independence, and social participation of industrial communities, thereby supporting the realization of a civil society. This research confirms that mosques have strategic potential as centers for Islamic education transformation in the context of industrialization. Abstract

The prevalence of sexual violence in Indonesia remains a serious issue. According to data from the Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children initiated by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in 2022, there were 11,686 reported cases of sexual violence. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impacts that arise in victims of sexual harassment in Kamang Baru sub-district. This research is a qualitative study with a total of 3 teenage informants and 3 parents of 3 teenage victims of sexual harassment. This research was conducted in Kamang Baru sub-district, Sijunjung district, in 2024-2025.The results of the study state that the sexual harassment experienced by the victims greatly affects several important aspects of the victims' lives, namely their psychological, social, and cognitive well-being. The parents also confirmed that the impacts mentioned by the researcher after the incident of sexual harassment experienced by their children, such as psychological disorders, introversion, and decreased desire to learn, are indeed present in their children.The role of parents here is only to always support their children and remind them to be more cautious about the outside world. From the research results, the researcher can conclude that the impact of sexual harassment on the victims is very disturbing and even causes prolonged trauma in the victims, as well as greatly affecting their cognitive abilities and fear of socializing with the outside world.The suggestion from this research is that it can open the reader's insight into the impacts that will arise in victims of sexual harassment.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students in IPAS learning, particularly in science material, became the background of this study. The study aimed to analyze the effect of implementing Problem Based Learning model based on interactive video on student learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research method and the design used was nonequivalent control group. The sample was taken using purposive sampling of 50 students. Data collection was conducted through tests and non-tests. Hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and F_count > F_table (44.005 > 4.28). The research results showed that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model based on interactive video had a significant effect on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kota Gajah.

Abstract

Learning the stories of Prophets and Messengers for early childhood requires engaging learning media so that Islamic values can be well understood. One of the media that can be utilized is Islamic animated video. This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic animated video media in learning the stories of Prophets and Messengers for early childhood at RA Perwanida 2 Palembang. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the use of Islamic animated video media was implemented through several stages, namely lesson planning by preparing the Daily Lesson Plan (RPPH), learning implementation through the presentation of Islamic animated videos according to the learning theme, and learning evaluation through question-and-answer activities and observation of children’s responses. The use of this media was able to increase children’s learning interest, attention, and understanding of the stories of Prophets and Messengers. Therefore, Islamic animated video media is effective to be applied

Abstract

Mastery of basic concepts of the Indonesian language plays a crucial role in supporting the academic and professional success of education students, particularly in the digital era characterized by the rapid development of information and communication technology. The digital era has brought significant changes to students’ language practices, which are indicated by the increasing use of informal language and the neglect of linguistic norms in academic contexts. This study aims to examine the urgency of mastering basic concepts of the Indonesian language for education students in the digital era and its implications for strengthening academic literacy and the professional readiness of prospective teachers. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method through the analysis of reference books, scholarly journal articles, and relevant educational policy documents. The findings indicate that mastery of basic Indonesian language concepts serves as a foundation for academic literacy that influences critical thinking skills, argumentative ability, and linguistic accuracy among education students. Furthermore, digital literacy that is not supported by strong conceptual language understanding has the potential to reduce the quality of academic language. Therefore, strengthening the mastery of basic Indonesian language concepts in higher education is a strategic necessity to prepare education students who are adaptive, critical, and professionally competent in the digital era.

Abstract

Anti-corruption education plays an important role in shaping students’ character and behavior, particularly in instilling the value of honesty. This study emphasizes three main aspects: the role of the curriculum and learning strategies, the role of teachers and the school environment, and the impact of anti-corruption education on students’ character. The integration of honesty values into the formal curriculum, through experiential-based approaches and reflective evaluation, has proven effective in enhancing understanding and internalization of moral values. Teachers and the school environment function as role models and moral laboratories, enabling students to connect theory with real-life practice. Anti-corruption education also has a long-term impact on character formation, preparing students to become individuals with integrity who are capable of facing ethical dilemmas. The findings of this study indicate that anti-corruption education is not merely a transfer of knowledge, but a sustainable moral investment for students and society.

Abstract

This research was carried out to analyze the influence of corporate governance dimensions on company value in companies included in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2024 period. Corporate governance in this research is measured through several indicators, namely the proportion of independent commissioners, audit committee size, number of commissioners' meetings, managerial ownership and public ownership. The research uses a quantitative approach with a population of 45 companies. Sample selection was carried out using a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria relevant to the research objectives. Data analysis uses panel data regression with the help of Stata 15 software so that the results obtained are more accurate and reliable. The research results show that the proportion of independent board of commissioners, size of the audit committee, number of board of commissioners meetings, and managerial ownership do not have a significant effect on company value. On the other hand, public ownership is proven to have a significant influence on company value. The simultaneous test also revealed that all the corporate governance variables analyzed did not have a significant influence on company value. This finding emphasizes that external factors outside the formal governance structure play a more important role in determining company value. The implication is that companies need to pay attention to other aspects outside corporate governance, while for investors, independent analysis of financial performance and business strategy is very important before making investment decisions.

Abstract

Infrastructure and facility management is a crucial factor in supporting the success of the learning process in schools. Effective and efficient management can create a conducive learning environment and improve the quality of learning. A common problem in schools is the suboptimal management of facilities and infrastructure, both in terms of planning, utilization, and maintenance, which impacts student learning processes and outcomes. This study aims to determine the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 3 Subang and its role in improving the quality of learning. This study used a qualitative approach with a mini-research method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews with the principal and teachers, and documentation studies related to school facilities and infrastructure. The results indicate that the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 3 Subang has been implemented effectively through the planning, procurement, utilization, and maintenance stages and has made a positive contribution to improving the quality of learning. However, several obstacles remain, such as budget limitations and the lack of adequate maintenance of certain facilities. Therefore, it can be concluded that effective and sustainable management of facilities and infrastructure can improve the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 3 Subang.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a government initiative that aims to improve the quality of education through student-centered learning and character development. However, its implementation in Islamic Religious Education still faces various challenges at the school level. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze its impact on students at SMP Negeri 16 Kota Jambi. This study uses a qualitative approach with a field research method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students. The findings show that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is carried out through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Supporting factors include teacher creativity and innovation as well as a conducive school environment, while the main inhibiting factor is a lack of family support. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has a positive impact on increasing student involvement and participation and strengthening religious character.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education at the Elementary School level plays a strategic role in shaping the character and skills of the 21st century, especially in terms of critical and creative thinking. This article aims to analyze how entrepreneurship education can be applied as a learning tool that encourages students to be able to identify problems, formulate solutions, and generate new ideas independently and innovatively. Through a literature study approach and concept analysis, it was found that the integration of entrepreneurship education in the learning process can foster a solution-oriented, adaptive mindset, and encourage independence and responsibility from an early age. Project-based learning, business simulations, and thematic approaches are effective strategies in instilling a creative and critical entrepreneurial spirit. Therefore, entrepreneurship education needs to be continuously strengthened in elementary schools as an effort to prepare the younger generation who have intellectual, emotional, and social readiness to face future challenges. Entrepreneurship education is not only oriented towards the formation of an entrepreneurial spirit, but also becomes a means to develop students' critical and creative thinking skills from an early age. This article discusses "Analysis of Entrepreneurship Education in Cultivating Critical and Creative Thinking Skills in Elementary School Students". With a literature analysis approach from various theoretical sources and practices in the field, it was found that the application of entrepreneurship-based learning such as mini projects, simple business simulations, and exploratory activities was able to stimulate students' reasoning and creativity. Entrepreneurship education at the elementary level is an important part of creating a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also resilient, independent, and able to compete creatively in the future.
