Abstract

This study aims to improve children's sequencing (seriation) abilities through the use of a spinning wheel media in Group B at TK Negeri Pembina Sungai Pinang. This research is a Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages (planning, implementation, observation, and reflection). The subjects of this study were children in Group B1, totaling 16 children, consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. The object studied was children's sequencing (seriation) abilities through the spinning wheel media. Data collection was conducted through observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that the use of spinning wheel media could improve children's sequencing (seriation) abilities. This improvement can be seen from the initial condition in which the sequencing (seriation) abilities of Group B1 children were in the very well-developed category (BSB) before the action was carried out reaching 6.25%, increasing to 18.75% in cycle I, and further rising to 81.25% in cycle II. Abstract

Transformasi digital telah menjadi prioritas utama dalam sektor pendidikan tinggi untuk mengembangkan metode dan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih maju, efektif, dan relevan dengan misi institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena transformasi digital pada konteks universitas baru melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam (in-depth interviews) semi-terstruktur dengan 12 informan yang terdiri dari pimpinan dan dosen di Universitas Sragen. Analsisi data menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa universitas baru menghadapi tantangan kompleks yang bersifat teknis maupun fundamental dalam mempersiapkan transisi digital. Ditemukan tujuh tantangan utama, yaitu: perubahan pola pikir, usia, waktu yang lama untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi, kesalahpahaman akan transformasi digital, kurangnya sosialisasi program, kurangnya infrastuktur IT dan biaya yang besar. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini merumuskan lima strategi strategis yang meliputi: manajemen kepemimpinan, indivualisasi, melakukan pembuatan sistem kinerja yang baru, melakukan upgrade infrastruktur, dan menggunakan teknologi pihak ketiga.

Abstract

Geography learning in senior high schools is still dominated by conventional teacher-centered approaches, which result in low student participation and poor learning outcomes, especially in disaster mitigation topics. This study aims to examine the effect of the role play cooperative learning model on students’ Geography learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 6 Padang. This research employed an experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of 73 students, with class E2 as the experimental group (37 students) and class E3 as the control group (36 students). Data were collected through validated and reliable learning outcome tests, and analyzed using SPSS version 23. The study was conducted during the second semester of the 2026 academic year. The results indicated that students in the experimental class achieved higher learning outcomes than those in the control class, with an average score of 78.5. These findings suggest that the role play model effectively enhances students’ active participation and deepens their understanding of disaster mitigation concepts. In conclusion, the role play learning model has a positive and significant effect on students’ Geography learning outcomes. The implication of this study is that the role play model can be used as an effective alternative teaching strategy to improve the quality of Geography learning, particularly in disaster mitigation materials.

Abstract

Geography learning in senior high schools still faces challenges, particularly low student interest and understanding of basic geography concepts due to limited and teacher-centered learning media. This study aims to develop and implement infographic poster learning media based on the Canva application and to determine its feasibility and students’ responses. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study was conducted with tenth-grade students of Phase E9 at SMA Negeri 6 Padang from June to July 2025. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using a Likert scale. The results indicate that the Canva-based infographic poster media was validated by subject-matter experts and considered suitable for geography learning. Students’ responses were categorized as very good, showing increased learning interest, engagement, and understanding of basic geography concepts. In conclusion, the implementation of Canva-based infographic poster media is effective in supporting geography learning. The findings imply that technology-based visual learning media can serve as an innovative alternative to enhance learning quality and support interactive, student-centered learning environments.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning strategies through adhan practice in developing self-confidence and children’s affection toward islamic symbols at Tadika Ummi Bestari, Kota Damansara, Malaysia. This study emplys a descriptive qualitative approachwith a case study design, in wich the researcher is diretly involved and act as a trainer troughout the research process. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed inductively. The findings show that structure adhan practice using modeling, imitation, habituation, gradual practice, and positive reinforcement encourages children’s courage, self-confidence, and positive emotional responses toward islamic symbols. Children actively participated and showed progressive improvement from group practice to individual performance. This study concludes that adhan practice can serve as an effective learning strategy to support affective and social development in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of self-potential, career planning, learning achievement, and parental support on students' interest in continuing their education to higher education at SMAN 2 Gunung Talang. This research uses a quantitative approach with associative descriptive methods. The population consists of 155 students of grade XI, and the sample of 111 students was obtained using the Slovin formula with random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with Eviews12 software. The results showed that self-potential, career planning, learning achievement, and parental support partially had a significant effect on students’ interest, except learning achievement which had a weaker influence. Simultaneously, all variables significantly affected students’ interest in continuing to higher education. This research highlights the importance of strengthening students’ self-potential, career planning, and parental involvement to increase their interest in pursuing higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of developing flashcard media for descriptive text learning and also to determine the results of developing flashcard media for teaching descriptive text in class VIII at MTs Syekh Subakir 2 Sumberasri, in accordance with the source of the problem that has been found, namely the ability to memorize English vocabulary which is still relatively low. This studyis a qualitative research, the technique used for data collection in this research is a simple saturation technique with a sample of 18 students, this research uses the ADDIE model development, this model was chosen because it is in accordance with the media development carried out by the researcher,The instruments used in this study were questionnaires from media experts, material experts and student response questionnaires. Based on the responses, the flashcard media development was quite effective, with expert validation showing a score of 90.0% from media experts and 83.5% from content experts. Meanwhile, the student response score was 66.8%. This indicates that flashcard learning media is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

This research identifies teacher challenges in implementing environmental care attitudes at Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) At-Tanzil, Cheras, Malaysia. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews and observations. Findings reveal dual challenges: infrastructure limitations and student heterogeneity. The use of a residential living room as a classroom creates a functional duality that restricts ecological practices to elementary activities like sweeping and using shared domestic waste bins. Furthermore, student grouping based on literacy/numeracy skills rather than age results in diverse cognitive maturity. Older students with higher cognitive abilities show better initiative, while younger students require constant supervision and direct instructions. Following Piaget’s theory, environmental awareness in SB At-Tanzil is closely linked to cognitive development. Success in this informal setting depends on the teacher's pedagogical strategies in bridging developmental gaps and managing limited domestic facilities.

Abstract

Cyberbullying among elementary school children is a phenomenon that is increasing along with the development of digital technology and the intensity of social media use by children. Cyberbullying not only takes the form of insults or ridicule, but can also include social exclusion, dissemination of personal content, and collective pressure through comments and sharing features that amplify the impact on victims. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of cyberbullying among elementary school children in the digital age through a combined approach of Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and social media analysis. Research data was obtained from literature synthesis through the selection of relevant scientific articles and content analysis on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook platforms. The results show that cyberbullying is formed through the interrelationship between individual factors (children's emotional and empathy development), social factors (peer influence and peer pressure culture), and digital system factors (platform algorithms, anonymity, and content virality). The findings from SLR confirm that cyberbullying affects children's psychological, social, and academic aspects, while social media analysis shows that bullying is normalized and reinforced by audience responses in the form of likes, comments, and shares. This study concludes that cyberbullying among elementary school children is a multidimensional problem that requires comprehensive prevention through strengthening digital literacy, character education, school and parent involvement, and the formation of a healthy communication culture in the digital space.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a two-tier multiple-choice formative assessment based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) through Quizizz media on flat shape materials for Grade IV elementary school students. The background of this study is the limitation of teachers in designing formative assessment instruments capable of measuring students' higher-order thinking skills, as well as the suboptimal use of technology in mathematics learning evaluation activities. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research subjects are Grade IV students of SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. Data collection instruments include interviews, validation questionnaires from material experts, language experts, and media experts, as well as documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out both quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results show that the HOTS-based two-tier multiple choice formative assessment through the Quizizz media developed has a very good level of validity and reliability, making it feasible to use as a learning evaluation instrument for mathematics on flat shape material. This assessment is expected to help teachers identify students' understanding and thinking processes, as well as train students' critical and analytical thinking skills more optimally.
