Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Pohon Bupin (Smart Fruit Tree) media on the learning interest of third-grade students at SD Negeri Gedanganak 03. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The research population was all third-grade students, with a sample of class III B as the experimental group receiving the TGT model treatment assisted by Pohon Bupin, and class III A as the control group using the TGT model without media. Data collection instruments included questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis employed normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, and simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed: (1) there was a significant difference in learning interest between the experimental and control classes (sig. 0.000 < 0.05); (2) the TGT learning model assisted by Pohon Bupin had a positive effect on students' learning interest (sig. 0.044 < 0.05) with a contribution of 8.2%. Observations also indicated an increase in learning interest in the experimental class with an average of 60% (good) compared to the control class at 57% (good). The conclusion of this study is that the TGT model assisted by Pohon Bupin media is effective in enhancing students' learning interest. It is recommended that teachers implement this model to create more interactive and enjoyable learning experiences.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Role of Sociolinguistics in Language Education in Indonesia. The method used The observational approach was used in this research to gather the data that would later be used to expound on the findings and draw conclusions. Sociolinguistics and the teaching of languages are intertwined in a variety of ways. Both the teaching of a language and the learning of a language are influenced by a variety of social circumstances. The link between sociolinguistics and language instruction is the topic of investigation in this particular piece of writing. There are a number of social aspects, including the circumstance, the context, and the social environment, which all play roles in language instruction. It demonstrates how effectively current education can take into consideration the primary aspects that impact language choices and discusses the main factors that influence linguistic choices. In addition to this, it studies the clear linguistic differences that exist between persons who belong to different sectors of society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in fostering religious moderation attitudes among junior high school students. Employing a qualitative approach with a multisite study design, the research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Turi and SMP Diniyah Al-Falahiyah Turi, which represent different educational contexts, namely a public school and a religion-based school. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, involving PAI teachers, school principals, and students.The findings indicate that PAI learning strategies in both schools are not merely oriented toward cognitive mastery of religious knowledge, but are also directed at shaping students’ moderate religious attitudes. At SMP Negeri 1 Turi, contextual and dialogical approaches are emphasized to address students’ diverse religious backgrounds. Meanwhile, SMP Diniyah Al-Falahiyah Turi integrates textual understanding of Islamic teachings with religious habituation, emphasizing a balance between religious commitment and openness to diversity. The process of internalizing religious moderation is supported by teacher exemplification, interactive learning practices, and school culture, although it is constrained by limited instructional time and the influence of simplistic religious content from digital media.This study concludes that effective PAI learning strategies play a significant role in fostering religious moderation when they are dialogical, contextual, and reflective. The findings contribute theoretically to the discourse on religious moderation as a pedagogical process and practically to the development of PAI learning strategies that are responsive to diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the early reading skills of first-grade students at UPT SDN 11 Makale through the application of cooperative learning models combined with the reading circle game approach. Early reading skills are fundamental to academic success, yet many students face challenges in mastering these skills, which impacts their overall learning motivation. This research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, involving two cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observations, tests, and interviews with both students and teachers. The results show a significant improvement in students' reading skills from the first cycle to the second cycle. The average score of students increased from 73.95% in the first cycle to 83.3% in the second cycle, with the completion rate rising from 74.10% to 90.27%. The implementation of the cooperative learning model with the reading circle approach not only improved reading fluency but also enhanced student engagement and motivation. This research demonstrates the effectiveness of interactive and collaborative learning methods in improving early reading abilities in young learners

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Wordwall media on the learning outcomes of Grade V elementary school students in Gugus IV Candi Kalasan, Bendosari District, Sukoharjo Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year, specifically in the subject of Earth Science, with the topic of understanding the Earth's surface. Data collection methods included tests and documentation. The population in this study was Cluster IV Candi Kalasan Elementary Schools, which consisted of six schools. This study was quantitative in nature and used an experimental method. Before the treatment was administered, the instruments were tested on the experimental group to determine the group's condition before the treatment. After the treatment, the experimental group and the control group were given a post-test to determine the condition of the groups. The sampling technique in this study used Cluster Random Sampling, with Mertan 03 Public Elementary School as the experimental class and Mertan 01 Public Elementary School as the control class. The data analysis technique used the t-test, after first conducting normality and homogeneity tests. The results based on the independent sample t-test obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the wordwall media on the learning outcomes of students in IPAS material on understanding the earth's surface at elementary schools in cluster IV Candi Kalasan, Bendosari District, Sukoharjo Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year.

Abstract

The main problems are the low cognitive learning outcomes which are mostly belowthe Level of Achievement Completion Criteria standard for fifth grade students atSD Negeri 1 Kaliawi. This study aims to examine the impact of implementing theCTL model integrated with 3D media from the assemblr edu application on thecognitive learning outcomes of fifth grade students in Pancasila Education. Thisstudy uses a quasi experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design.The study population consists of students from classes VA and VB, totalling 44students, and the sample was determined using purposive sampling technique. Thestudy approach is quantitative with data collection through multiple choice tests. Theresults of data analysis using simple linear regression and supported by anindependent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and 0,049 <0,05 indicating that there is an impact of CTL model integrated with 3D media fromthe assemblr edu application on the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth gradestudents in Pancasila Education at SD Negeri 1 Kaliawi.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires the education sector to innovate learning processes that can enhance students’ learning motivation. Information technology based learning management has become one of the relevant strategies to address these challenges, particularly at the secondary school level. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, evaluation, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of information technology based learning management to improve students’ learning motivation at tate Senior High School 7 Sarolangun. This study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, three teachers, and two students, classroom observations, and documentation of learning tools. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The results indicate that learning planning has systematically integrated information technology into lesson plans and the selection of instructional media. The implementation of information technology–based learning is interactive and varied, which increases student engagement and learning motivation. Evaluation conducted through online quizzes, digital assignments, and technology-based projects was effective in improving students’ motivation to learn. The main supporting factors include school support, teacher readiness, and student enthusiasm, while the inhibiting factors include limited internet access and learning devices. Therefore, information technology based learning management can effectively enhance students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are educational institutions that play an important role in providing both religious and general education in Indonesia. In the era of globalization, pesantren face increasing challenges in attracting prospective students, making effective marketing management strategies essential. This study aims to: (1) identify the marketing management strategies implemented at Chairul Umam Islamic Boarding School in Suban Village, (2) analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the admission of new students, and (3) evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing strategies applied. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that: (1) marketing strategies were carried out through program planning meetings, student service activities, and promotion using social media and printed media; (2) supporting factors included adequate human resources and institutional cooperation, while inhibiting factors included limited recruitment networks and relatively high operational costs; and (3) evaluation of marketing activities was conducted through foundation meetings and regular monthly meetings to monitor program effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with a deep learning approach in improving students’ learning outcomes in the IPAS subject at SDI Nunbaun Sabu, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara. The research employed a quantitative method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research sample consisted of 31 fifth-grade students at SDI Nunbaun Sabu, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara. Data were collected using a test instrument consisting of 20 items and were analyzed descriptively and inferentially through the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene’s homogeneity test, and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results indicated a statistically significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. Furthermore, the Wilcoxon test results were significant (p < 0.001) with an effect size of r = 0.87, indicating a large effect. The findings focus on students’ learning outcomes in two domains, namely the cognitive and affective domains. Therefore, the integration of PBL and deep learning is proven to be effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in IPAS, particularly on the topic of the water cycle at the elementary school level. Accordingly, this strategy is recommended for use in IPAS learning in elementary schools to optimally support students’ learning achievement.

Abstract

This study explores the Grebeg Maulud tradition in Yogyakarta as a manifestation of local wisdom within the framework of Islam Nusantara. Grebeg Maulud is a ceremonial procession conducted annually in the Sultanate of Yogyakarta to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad. The significance of the tradition lies not only in its religious dimension but also in its social, cultural, and environmental aspects that contribute to community cohesion and moral values. Employing a qualitative approach with ethnographic and historical methods, the research examines how Grebeg Maulud embodies local wisdom (kearifan lokal) that encourages harmonious living, mutual cooperation, and respect for nature. The study situates Grebeg Maulud within the worldview of Islam Nusantara, a contextual and inclusive interpretation of Islam grounded in Indonesian cultural realities. Findings suggest that Grebeg Maulud functions as a living tradition that nurtures spiritual piety, social solidarity, and ecological responsibility, thus contributing to the broader agenda of “caring for the world” (merawat dunia) through culturally rooted religious practice.
