Abstract

This study aims to analyze educational marketing strategies in increasing parents’ interest in choosing SDIT Raudhatussalam Mahato as an integrated Islamic elementary school. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The research informants consist of the Foundation Supervisor, the principal, teachers, administrative staff, and parents selected purposively. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, supported by source and method triangulation to ensure data validity.The findings indicate that SDIT Raudhatussalam Mahato implements a comprehensive educational marketing strategy by utilizing the educational services marketing mix (7P). Parents’ decisions are influenced by the quality of educational services, religious values, teacher competence, cost transparency, digital promotion, and interpersonal communication through word of mouth. The quality of educational services is proven to be the main pillar supporting the effectiveness of the school’s marketing strategy. Despite facing budgetary and resource constraints, the school is able to address these challenges through creative and collaborative strategies.

Abstract

This study analyzes the difficulties of Grade VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Perumnas Makassar in learning nouns and pronouns and the factors influencing them. Using a descriptive quantitative design, 18 students from class VIII A participated. Data were collected through a grammar test and a questionnaire. Results show that students struggle to distinguish nouns and pronouns, identify their types, and use them correctly in sentences, except for reflexive pronouns. Contributing factors include neutral motivation, grammatical complexity, limited practice, and lack of learning support. Project-based, interactive, and technology-assisted strategies are recommended to enhance understanding and engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal’s leadership in managing teacher human resources at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gempol. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving the principal, teachers, and educational staff as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the principal plays not only an administrative role but also functions as a leader, mentor, and motivator in managing teacher performance. Leadership strategies are implemented through continuous teacher development programs, academic supervision, and effective communication. The principal’s leadership has a positive impact on improving teachers’ motivation, discipline, and instructional quality, although several challenges are still encountered in its implementation. This study contributes to the development of Islamic Educational Management studies, particularly in the field of school leadership and teacher human resource management within the context of Muhammadiyah elementary schools. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in science learning, which is caused by the continued use of lecture-based learning models. This makes learning less effective and causes students to experience boredom during learning activities. This research aims to determine the increase in creativity and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in Science subject matter, specifically the topic “How is the Shape of My Indonesia” at SD Negeri Ladang Tengah 1, Tapanuli Tengah Regency, North Sumatra. The data analysis technique used is interaction with a classroom action research (PTK) approach, which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques used include tests, non-tests, and observation. The subjects in this study were 118 fifth-grade students, consisting of 58 males and 66 females. The learning outcomes in cycle I increased from an initial score of 76.88 to 77.72 in the first meeting of cycle I, reaching 82.30 in the second meeting of cycle I, and 90. In cycle II, with a completeness level of 91.5, categorized as very practical. In addition, the Project-Based Learning model has also proven effective in improving student learning outcomes in the material “How is the Shape of My Indonesia.” Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Project-Based Learning model in Science learning in fifth grade of Elementary School is declared valid, practical, and effective for use in the learning process. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of individual counseling services using the WDEP technique within the reality counseling approach in reducing nomophobia among students of class XI SMA Kristen Surakarta in the 2025/2026 academic year. Nomophobia is a condition of excessive anxiety experienced when individuals are unable to access their mobile devices, which negatively affects learning concentration, time management, and social interaction. This research employed the Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) method conducted in three cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The WDEP technique was applied to help students understand their desires, evaluate their mobile phone usage behavior, and develop more adaptive action plans. The results of the study indicate a gradual and significant decrease in students' nomophobia levels. In the pre-cycle stage, the percentage of nomophobia was 83.33%, which then decreased to 65.73% in Cycle 1, 45.37% in Cycle II, and reached 28.69% in Cycle III. The reduction to below 30% indicates that the research success indicators were achieved. Therefore, it can be concluded that individual counseling using the WDEP technique is effective in helping students reduce nomophobic behavior and improve self-regulation in healthier and more responsible mobile phone use.

Abstract

Career maturity is a stage of individual career development characterized by preparation for the future. The preparations made include seeking career information, understanding oneself in the form of exploring and discovering talents and interests, choosing a future career by using the resources possessed to achieve the appropriate career. The objectives of this study are 1) To determine the level of career maturity of SMA Negeri 10 Malang students before the application of group guidance role playing techniques, 2) To determine the level of career maturity of SMA Negeri 10 Malang students after the application of group guidance role playing techniques, 3) to determine the effectiveness of group guidance role playing techniques effective in increasing the career maturity of SMA Negeri 10 Malang students. The method used in this study uses a type of quantitative research with a research design that is a pre-experiment design with a one group pretest-posttest design model, the sample technique used is simple random sampling. The sample to be examined was 10 students with data analysis techniques using Wilcoxon statistical analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: 1) The level of career maturity of class XI students of SMA Negeri 10 Malang before being given group guidance on role playing techniques is in the “low” category, 2) Increasing the career maturity of SMA Negeri 10 Malang students after the application of group guidance role playing techniques are in the category of “high and very high”, 3) The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis of the calculation can be concluded that Zhitung is -2.805b and sig. (2-tailed) is 0.005 then HO is rejected so it can be concluded that group guidance role playing techniques are effective for increasing the career maturity of SMA Negeri 10 Malang students. Based on the results of the research conclusions presented above, suggestions can be made for future researchers; this research is expected to be a reference or reference for future researchers who conduct similar research on group guidance with role playing techniques aimed at increasing student career maturity. it is hoped that further research can be improved in the application of group guidance services using role playing techniques to improve student career maturity and a wider subject.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy are fundamental skills that must be developed from the elementary school level because they form the basis for students’ thinking abilities and academic success. However, learning activities in the community are still often limited to conventional methods that are less engaging for children. This study aims to describe the implementation of literacy and numeracy assistance for elementary school students through digital children’s stories based on flipbooks within the Sustainable Creative Learning Program. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and student questionnaires during the implementation of the program. The assistance activities were carried out during a one-month community service program (KKN) in Harapan Jaya, Bekasi, through several thematic activities that integrated reading and numeracy exercises using digital flipbooks. The results show that the use of digital flipbook-based children’s stories made students more interested, active, and motivated in learning. Students were able to better understand reading content and apply simple numeracy concepts through contextual and enjoyable activities. Overall, digital flipbook media played an important role in supporting literacy and numeracy assistance by creating a more meaningful, interactive, and student-centered learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the use of the Reciprocal Teaching strategy integrated with TikTok media in learning Maharah Kalam (speaking skills) of students at MA Arrahman Palembang. Speaking skills are a crucial aspect of language for everyday communication, but in practice it is often considered difficult and taught using monotonous conventional methods, resulting in low student learning outcomes. The Reciprocal Teaching strategy offers a constructivist approach that emphasizes four cognitive components (summarizing, asking, clarifying, and predicting) that students carry out in turns. The use of TikTok media, which is popular among teenagers, was chosen to increase creativity, interaction, and learning motivation through a short, audio-visual and engaging video format. This study uses a mixed method approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design to compare students' Maharah Kalam abilities before and after treatment. The final results of the study are expected to show a significant increase in students' Maharah Kalam abilities, proving that this combination of strategies and media is effective as a learning innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital gamification media in improving joyful learning in social studies learning at SMP Negeri 3 Tarogong Kidul. The background of this research is the low level of student engagement and learning motivation in social studies classes. This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the use of digital gamification media significantly improved students’ joyful learning and learning outcomes compared to conventional learning. Therefore, digital gamification media can be used as an alternative learning strategy to create a fun and meaningful learning environment. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation steps of Mindfulness Learning and analyze its effectiveness in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving skills on the topic of fraction multiplication and division at MTs Negeri Parepare. The low level of problem-solving ability was identified as being caused by a lack of focus, attention, and mental engagement during learning activities. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (one-group pretest–posttest). Data were collected through observation, mathematical problem-solving tests, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with a paired sample t-test. The results are expected to show a significant improvement in students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities after the implementation of Mindfulness Learning, as well as positive behavioral changes toward more focused, calm, and reflective learning habits.
