Abstract

Low students’ learning outcomes in IPAS learning on ecosystem material are indicated by students’ achievement that has not yet met the Criteria for Learning Achievement (KKTP). This condition is influenced by the learning process that is still dominated by the teacher and the use of less varied learning models, resulting in students’ limited active involvement in discovering learning concepts. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Discovery Learning model and students’ learning outcomes in IPAS learning on ecosystem material for grade III students at SD Negeri 4 Bandar Dua. This study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects were grade III students of SD Negeri 4 Bandar Dua, while the research objects were the implementation of the Discovery Learning model and students’ learning outcomes. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and observation. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to describe students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model led to improvements in students’ learning outcomes in IPAS learning on ecosystem material. Students demonstrated more active involvement in the learning process, particularly during the stages of observing, identifying problems, and independently discovering concepts. Overall, the implementation of the Discovery Learning model in IPAS learning on ecosystem material for grade III students at SD Negeri 4 Bandar Dua can be considered an alternative learning model that encourages students’ activeness and conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Reciprocal Learning model based on Hypnoteaching in improving students’ self-confidence in mathematics learning. The background of this research is the low level of students’ self-confidence in mathematics classes, which affects their active participation, mathematical communication skills, and learning outcomes. The Reciprocal Learning model emphasizes activities such as summarizing, questioning, clarifying, and predicting, while the Hypnoteaching approach optimizes positive suggestion, persuasive language, and the creation of a comfortable and conducive learning environment. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research subjects were secondary school students divided into experimental and control groups. The research instruments included a self-confidence questionnaire, observation sheets of student activities, and mathematics achievement tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests to determine differences in self-confidence improvement between the two groups. The results indicate that the implementation of the Hypnoteaching-based Reciprocal Learning model significantly improves students’ self-confidence compared to conventional learning methods. The improvement is evident in students’ courage to express opinions, ability to ask questions, participation in discussions, and confidence in solving mathematical problems. Therefore, this model is effective as an innovative instructional strategy to enhance both affective and cognitive aspects of students in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Nearpod-based digital storytelling learning media using the paired storytelling method in Indonesian language learning for fourth-grade elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the low narrative writing skills of students caused by the use of conventional and less interactive learning media. This study employed a Research and Development method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were teachers and fourth-grade students at SDN 68/VI Empang Benao. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. The results showed that the Nearpod-based digital storytelling learning media using the paired storytelling method was categorized as highly valid by experts, practical based on teachers’ and students’ responses, and effective in increasing students’ engagement and understanding of narrative text material. The implementation results indicate that students became more active, motivated, and able to write narrative texts with more coherent structures, therefore the developed media is suitable to be used as an innovative alternative learning media in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of suboptimal student learning achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Garut, characterized by fluctuations in academic grades and less than maximal mastery of student competencies according to expected standards. This condition indicates that the implementation of curriculum policies has not been fully effectively integrated with classroom learning management. The study aims to analyze the influence of curriculum policy implementation on learning management, the influence of learning management on learning achievement, and the direct influence of curriculum policy on student learning achievement. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method. The population consists of all teachers at MAN 1 Garut using a saturated sample technique (total sampling) of 76 respondents. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using Path Analysis techniques with SPSS software. The results show that curriculum policy implementation has a positive and significant effect on learning management with a contribution of 37.5%. Learning management is proven to have a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement. Simultaneously, curriculum policy implementation and learning management contribute 53.9% to student learning achievement. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the synergy between adaptive curriculum policies and professional learning governance is crucial for improving student learning outcomes holistically.

Abstract

Early childhood independence is a crucial developmental aspect that does not develop naturally but requires optimal stimulation from teachers. This study aims to examine the teacher's role in building children's independence in the modern era at Pendidikan Kasih Ibu, Muara Tembesi District, identify the obstacles faced, and describe the efforts made to overcome them. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with the principal and teachers as subjects. Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through triangulation. The results indicate that teachers play key roles as role models, facilitators, technology users, and collaborators with parents. Independence is fostered through habituation, modeling, and providing opportunities for independent activities. Obstacles include children's dependency, inconsistent parenting patterns, and teachers' limited digital skills. Efforts to overcome these challenges include habituating simple daily tasks, granting children the freedom to choose, and strengthening cooperation with parents to ensure consistency between school and home environments.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of healthy school canteens in improving environmental cleanliness and student comfort at MAN 1 Merangin. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a naturalistic inquiry approach. Data were collected through in-depth observations, documentation, and interviews with the Vice Head of Madrasah, the Chairperson of the Canteen Committee, teachers, and students. The results indicate that the management process is carried out through an integrated system, starting from selective planning and standardizing nutritional and halal quality to a formal organizational structure. Implementation is realized through disciplined daily sanitation routines, a centralized waste management system, and collaborative supervision with the local Health Center (Puskesmas). Despite facing challenges such as a reduction in management personnel and economic shifts, the madrasah has implemented strategic efforts through humanist fee reduction policies and consistent character building for students. The study concludes that effective canteen management serves as a primary pillar in creating a healthy, clean, and psychologically comfortable educational ecosystem, which supports the overall quality of student life and learning at MAN 1 Merangin

Abstract

The digital transformation of education requires teachers to integrate technology as part of interactive and student-centered instructional strategies. The use of the graphic design application Canva has become an alternative form of digital learning media in elementary schools; however, its effectiveness is strongly influenced by teachers’ psychological readiness. This study aims to analyze the psychological readiness of elementary school teachers in implementing Canva-based interactive learning media at SD Negeri 18 Banda Aceh and to identify the challenges encountered in its use. The research employed a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of all 20 teachers, with 3 teachers selected as interview informants. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were examined through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teachers’ psychological readiness falls into the very ready category, with an average score of 3.42 (85.4%). The cognitive aspect scored 3.50 (87.5%), the affective aspect 3.42 (85.4%), the psychomotor aspect 3.50 (87.5%), and the infrastructure aspect 3.25 (81.2%). Teachers understand the benefits of Canva, demonstrate positive attitudes, and are able to operate its basic features in developing learning media. The identified challenges include limited internet connectivity, restrictions of free-account features, and limited time to prepare instructional materials. This study concludes that teachers are psychologically ready to implement Canva as an interactive learning medium; however, optimizing its utilization requires adequate facilities and continuous training support.

Abstract

Marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman as husband and wife aimed at establishing a harmonious (sakinah) family. Achieving this goal requires not only physical and psychological readiness but also social, economic, emotional, and responsible maturity. The limitation of marriage age constitutes an important principle as regulated in Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, which emphasizes that prospective husbands and wives must attain sufficient physical and psychological maturity before entering marriage. However, in Kaliwulu Village, Plered District, Cirebon Regency, the phenomenon of underage marriage remains prevalent and affects household welfare. This study aims to analyze the factors causing underage marriage and its impact on household welfare at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Plered District. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by relevant literature review. The findings reveal that the primary factor contributing to underage marriage is personal willingness influenced by premarital relationships, with parental approval granted to avoid social stigma and accompanied by parental supervision. Underage marriage significantly affects household welfare due to the instability of emotional maturity and personal integrity in resolving conflicts, resulting in increased parental burdens and limited independence of the couple.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on education, including the emergence of ethical challenges and moral degradation among the younger generation. The high intensity of internet use requires a strong ethical foundation so that students are able to interact wisely in the digital space. This study aims to examine the concept of ta'dib according to Syed Naquib Al-Attas and analyze the implementation of the concept of ta'dib as a reinforcement of digital ethics in contemporary Islamic education. The research method used is library research by examining Al-Attas's main work “The Concept of Education in Islam” and various supporting literature related to ta'dib and digital ethics. Data analysis was conducted through a content analysis approach. The results show that the concept of ta'dib, which emphasizes the cultivation of manners as the core of education, has strong relevance in shaping ethical behavior in the digital space. Ta'dib values such as honesty, responsibility, moral discipline, the proper use of knowledge, and respect for fellow digital users are in line with the principles of digital ethics that are needed today. Thus, ta'dib can be a philosophical and pedagogical foundation for strengthening digital ethics, so that Islamic education can produce a generation that is intelligent, civilized, and wise in the use of technology.

Abstract

This study was inspired by the low level of independence and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Jongkang State Elementary School in the 2025/2026 academic year, as obtained from interviews, observations, and questionnaires. This study aims to improve the independence and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Jongkang State Elementary School in multiplication and division using the PBL model. This research was a classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this research are fourth-grade students at Jongkang State Elementary School in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative descriptive. The results of this study shows that 1) The application of the PBL model, which was implemented through problem-solving steps, was able to improve the independence and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Jongkang State Elementary School in multiplication and division. 2) The use of the PBL model can improve students' independent attitudes with an average of 41.21 at the initial stage, to 57.79 in cycle I, and increasing to 78.97 in cycle II. 3) The use of the PBL model can improve students' independent attitudes with an average score of 59.39 with a mastery level of 39.28% at the initial stage, increasing to 65.95 with a mastery level of 60.71% in cycle I, and further increasing to 76.78 with a mastery level of 82.18% in cycle II. 4) The use of the PBL model was effective in improving students' independent attitudes and learning outcomes, as seen from the N-Gain Score for independent attitudes of 0.6 in the ‘moderate’ category and a percentage of 63% in the ‘quite effective’ category. The N-Gain Score for student learning outcomes was 0.5 in the “moderate” category with a percentage of 58% in the ‘quite effective’ categories.
