Muliana M. Yunus, 2024. Pengaruh Pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas V UPT SPF SDI Hartaco Indah Kecamatan Tamalate. Tesis. (Dibimbing oleh: Rohana dan Latang).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran Untuk Mengetahui Gambaran Implementasi Pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level Siswa di Kelas V UPT SPF SDI Hartaco Indah Kecamatan Tamalate. Untuk Mengetahui Gambaran Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa di Kelas V UPT SPF SDI Hartaco Indah Kecamatan Tamalate. Untuk Mengetahui Apakah Terdapat Pengaruh Penerapan Pendekatan TaRL Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa di Kelas V UPT SPF SDI Hartaco. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPAS di UPT SPF SDI Hartaco Indah Kecamatan Tamalate. Berdasarkan analisis data, kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan pendekatan TaRL memperoleh rata-rata nilai hasil belajar sebesar 84,96, lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang hanya mencapai rata-rata 70,96. Perbedaan ini juga didukung oleh hasil uji statistik, di mana nilai signifikansi pada Independent Sample T-Test adalah 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. thitung 4,313 dan nilai ttabel 2,059, Hal ini berarti bahwa t hitung>t tabel (4,313 >2,059) berarti Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Terdapat Pengaruh Penerapan Pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa di Kelas V UPT SPF SDI Hartaco.

Abstract

This study started with the issue of the first-grade kids at Sugihwaras Elementary School having low beginning reading abilities. To determine the level of influence produced, a global-assisted approach with flashcard media is used in Indonesian language subjects. The experimental quantitative methodology and Nonequivalent Control Group Design were employed as the research method. Class IA 30 experimental students and class IB 30 control students were chosen using the Purposive Sampling Technique. The instrument consists of an oral test sheet in the form of a pretest-posttest for beginning reading and a student activity sheet. The posttest average score of 73.6 exceeds the pretest score of 54.6, showing that the experimental group has improved. The pretest score for the control group was 52.1, while the posttest score was 56.8. The Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 is demonstrated by the t-test findings. An average of 84% of the students in the experimental class were engaged in positive activities. The findings show that the global method, aided by flashcard media, influences the beginning reading skills of grade I pupils at Sugihwaras Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of 4G LTE network services at Samarinda Central Plaza (SCP) using the Walk Test method and Quality of Service (QoS) measurements for three major providers: Telkomsel, XL Axiata, and Indosat. Measured parameters include Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio (SINR), Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ) using the G-NetTrack Pro application, and throughput, delay, and packet loss using the Wireshark application. The results indicate that Telkomsel exhibited the most stable RSRP performance within the "Good" category. XL Axiata excelled in throughput and SINR, while Indosat demonstrated significant performance variations, particularly in SINR and throughput. Environmental factors such as visitor density, building materials, and the location of Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) affected network quality at SCP. All providers recorded low delay values and minimal packet loss, reflecting reliable networks overall. Based on the findings, it is recommended that Telkomsel enhance network capacity in high-traffic areas, XL Axiata expand its excellent signal coverage, and Indosat improve connection stability. Additionally, collaboration between service providers and SCP management is suggested for installing signal-boosting devices in indoor areas to ensure optimal network quality, especially in high-activity zones. This study provides significant contributions to improving mobile network service quality in crowded environments like SCP.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the values ​​of character education in the rewang tradition and integrate them as teaching materials in science (natural and social sciences) subjects at the elementary school (SD) level. The rewang tradition, which is an activity of community cooperation in helping organize certain events such as weddings, reflects various positive values. The research methodology used is qualitative ethnography which refers to direct observation and awareness of the culture and social systems of certain groups or communities to provide descriptive explanations and interpretations. The study was conducted in June-August 2024 in Muara Bahan Village. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The data collection instruments used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and verification, after data collection and recording. The results of the study show that there are three character values ​​in the rewang tradition, the first is the value of faith and devotion to God Almighty and noble character, the second is the value of mutual cooperation and the third is the value of global diversity. These three values ​​can be used as teaching materials for science in Chapter 6 "My Indonesia is Rich in Culture, in Topic A Uniqueness of the Habits of the People Around Me".

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the character values contained in the tepung tawar tradition at Malay weddings in Rokan Hulu, which can be used as teaching materials for students at SDN 003 Kepunahan. The type of research conducted is qualitative research with an ethnographic method. The variables studied include the tepung tawar tradition process and the character values present in Rokan Hulu Malay weddings. The results show that the tepung tawar tradition process in Rokan Hulu Malay weddings is led by traditional leaders and involves a series of activities, such as sprinkling tepung tawar water on the bride and groom, touching tepung tawar leaves from the head to the feet of the couple, scattering yellow rice on their heads, and concluding with a prayer. Additionally, the values contained in the tepung tawar tradition at Rokan Hulu Malay weddings include religious values, unity, mutual cooperation, fostering relationships, and social values.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain information and an overview regarding the implementation of principal supervision in improving teacher performance at SDN Rancaekek 03 and SDN Rancaekek 06. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive data on the grounds that qualitative methods allow researchers to understand in depth the nuances and context of supervision management principals in a particular school. The research informants consisted of teachers, students and school principals who were selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation studies of participants. Data were analyzed using qualitative methods. The results of the research showed that the implementation of supervision was based on the needs and goals of the school and was carried out in three stages, namely planning, implementing supervision and follow-up. This research concludes that the role and influence provided by the principal's supervision is very important on teacher performance. Apart from being the job of the principal, academic supervision also has an influence on the quality of teacher performance, which can be obtained from improving and fostering learning aspects needed by teachers as well as providing encouragement in the form of morals so that teachers always remember their main task, namely improving the quality of teaching. It is hoped that these findings can make a contribution. for development in the field of education, especially those related to the supervision of school principals in an effort to improve teacher performance through supervision.

Abstract

The dynamic and rapid development of technology is an alternative for daily life activities as an effective and efficient tool. One of the technological innovations that has received a lot of attention is blockchain technology. This research uses a literature review approach. The data used in this research comes from various scientific publications, including journal articles, conference proceedings, research reports, and books. The literature search was conducted through reputable academic databases such as IEEE Xplore, Google Scholar, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. These sources were chosen for their credibility and extensive global coverage, particularly in the field of information and communication technology. The main focus is on publications that discuss the application of blockchain in e-voting systems, both in terms of advantages, challenges, and potential implementation in various countries. The results reveal that the application of blockchain technology in e-voting systems in Indonesia faces various challenges, especially related to information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, regulations, and public acceptance. In terms of infrastructure, the government should accelerate the development of network infrastructure, including expanding 4G/5G networks and utilizing complementary technologies such as edge computing and communication satellites. Second, Indonesia needs to adapt a regulatory framework that supports the use of blockchain in elections, with reference to cryptographic principles to protect data and ensure election integrity. Third, public acceptance of blockchain technology in e-voting requires an approach that takes into account psychological and social aspects.

Abstract

This study examines the leadership style of KH. Cecep Abdullah Syahid at Pondok Pesantren Al-Qur’an Al-falah 2 Nagreg, which integrates Islamic principles with a paternalistic and transformative approach. The research aims to analyze the role of Kyai's leadership in fostering pesantren culture, enhancing student discipline, and maintaining pesantren relevance in the modern era. This qualitative study employs in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation.The findings reveal that the Kyai's exemplary behavior serves as a foundation for effective leadership, building strong emotional connections with students. Decision-making based on syura fosters collective responsibility, while the pesantren's culture reflects Islamic values such as discipline, cooperation, and dedication. Additionally, the Kyai successfully addresses modernization challenges by integrating technology into the learning process without compromising traditional values.This study concludes that KH. Cecep Abdullah Syahid's leadership style not only creates an ideal Islamic educational environment but is also relevant for other Islamic educational institutions in navigating the challenges of the modern era.

Abstract

Effective presentation communication skills are essential for English education students, as they play a significant role in academic success and professional development. This study explores key components that contribute to effective presentation skills, including confidence in speaking, clear and effective use of English, good pronunciation and intonation, logical responses to questions, audience interaction, and the use of technology. Using a qualitative research approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 English education students at the University of Nias. The findings highlight the challenges students face, such as nervousness, language difficulties, and limited audience engagement strategies. The results suggest that practicing regularly, receiving feedback, watching professional presentation videos, joining public speaking clubs, using voice/video recordings, and improving vocabulary through daily conversations are effective strategies for enhancing presentation skills. These findings provide valuable insights for curriculum development and future training programs aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills to deliver impactful presentations. Future research can explore the impact of specific teaching methodologies on students’ presentation effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the snowball throwing learning model assisted by audio-visual media on improving the reading comprehension skills of fourth grade elementary school students. This research is classified as quasi-experimental research with samples taken using a purposive sampling technique. The research sample was students of class IVA and IVB at UPT SD Negri 035 Indrapuri. The instrument of this research is a test question. Statistical analysis was carried out using the Normality test, Homogeneity test, Independent Sample t-test. Based on the research results, data obtained with a value of tcount = 13.205 and ttable = 2.093 so that H1 can be accepted because the value of tcount > ttable. This shows that the reading comprehension skills for class IV elementary school with the snowball throwing model assisted by audio-visual media are higher than with the conventional learning model and it can be concluded that there is an influence of the snowball throwing model assisted with audio-visual media on improving reading comprehension skills for class IV elementary school.
