Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. This research aims to explore the creation of a holistic, comprehensive, religious and rahmatan lil'alamin educational atmosphere in schools. The issue raised was the lack of integration of spiritual and moral values in an education system that often focuses on academic aspects alone. The methodology used was a literature study, which involved analyzing various literatures related to holistic and religious education. The results showed that the religious environment in schools plays an important role in shaping students' character, increasing tolerance and strengthening moral values. In addition, the history of comprehensive holistic education in Indonesia shows that this approach has been recognized as a solution to create a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has integrity and social care. This research also found that the foundation of comprehensive holistic education is rooted in rich cultural and religious values, which can be integrated in the curriculum.

This study aims assess the effectiveness of thematic teaching materials based on local wisdom “Khombouw” in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students. These teaching materials are designed based on local cultural values to provide contextual and relevant learning experiences. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were 42 fourth grade students from two elementary schools, namely SD YPK Asei and SD Inpres Yoboi. The results of data analysis showed that the experimental group using “Khombouw”-based teaching materials had a significant increase in learning outcomes compared to the control group using conventional teaching materials (p < 0.05). This finding confirms that the integration of local wisdom in learning not only supports academic understanding but also strengthens students' cultural identity. In addition, the Discovery Learning model used helps students in exploring cultural values in an active and participatory manner. This research recommends the development of local wisdom-based teaching materials as a strategic approach to improving the quality of education in Indonesia, especially in areas with strong local cultural wealth.

Hasil PISA 2022 menunjukkan bahwa 41,1% pelajar Indonesia hanya mampu menggunakan ilmu pengetahuan dasar untuk mengidentifikasi fenomena ilmiah yang sederhana, serta tidak mampu menggunakan konsep ilmiah abstrak untuk menjelaskan fenomena yang lebih komplek, membuat hipotesis, prediksi, ataupun mempertanyakan dan mengidentifikasi keterbatasan data ilmiah. Hal ini disebabkan dalam pembelajaran IPA lebih menekankan pada IPA sebagai produk saja, peserta didik dibebankan pada pencapaian pengetahuan yang harus dikuasai sementara IPA sebagai proses tidak diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Padahal keterampilan proses adalah fondasi bagi tumbuhnya kreativitas, kapasitas berpikir, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang sangat dibutuhkan di masa depan. Penelitian ini menganalisis secara mendalam penguasaan keterampilan proses sains pada mahasiswa calon guru MI/SD, untuk memastikan bahwa mereka memiliki kompetensi yang diperlukan dalam mengajar IPA di tingkat dasar. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes yang mengacu pada indikator KPS dasar dan terpadu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecakapan mahasiswa PGMI pada KPS dasar berbeda dengan KPS terpadu. Keterampilan mengobservasi, mengukur, memprediksi, dan menghubungkan ruang dan waktu yang termasuk dalam KPS dasar tergolong dalam kategori baik. Meskipun keterampilan mengklasifikasi dan menyimpulkan merupakan KPS dasar namun tergolong dalam kategori kurang dan sangat kurang. Keterampilan yang termasuk dalam KPS terpadu mahasiswa PGMI masuk dalam kategori kurang dan sangat kurang. Keterampilan membuat hipotesis berkategori kurang, sementara keterampilan dengan kategori sangat kurang adalah keterampilan merancang percobaan, mengontrol variabel, dan menafsirkan data. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya kegiatan praktikum sederhana dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah IPA dan variasi model pembelajaran seperti PBL.

This study aims to identify how the use of digital wallets among PPKn FKIP UNRAM students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of the study were PPKn FKIP UNRAM students. The results of the study show that the level of digital wallet use among students is quite high and the types of digital wallet applications that are predominantly used are the DANA and ShoppePay applications because of the ease and speed of making payments, many promotions, cashback, and other attractive offers, this creates a sense of urgency to immediately take advantage of the opportunity, thus worsening the tendency for impulse shopping. The use of digital wallets by students has a significant impact on their shopping habits, which indirectly also affects the traditional retail industry. and also the risk of identity theft on digital wallets is minimal because the digital wallet application itself is equipped with security features that have been guaranteed by OJK, available security features, such as PIN, fingerprint, and facial authentication. These features make digital wallets more difficult to access by unauthorized parties.

Primary school-aged children, who are at the concrete operational stage of cognitive development, need a good family environment to help their personality, intelligence and psychological growth. Children often experience violence, both verbal and physical, which can interfere with their mental, emotional and social development. The purpose of this research is to discover and study the different types of violence perpetrated by parents against primary school-aged children and its effects from an Islamic perspective. This study uses phenomenological methodology as a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews and observations in Prasung village, Sidoarjo district. According to the results, around 20 children in the village experienced domestic violence. This violence has significant consequences, causing mental and emotional disturbances in children, such as anxiety and low self-confidence. Parents are also often unaware of the negative effects of their children's actions and still consider corporal punishment as a good way of discipline. In addition, this study emphasises the importance of applying Islamic values in parenting to stop violence and support compassionate education. This research provides an in-depth insight into child abuse. In addition, it is important for parents to be more aware of how their behaviour impacts their children's development. It is hoped that the findings will encourage more positive parenting that is based on humanitarian and religious values.

This study aims to reveal the leadership strategies implemented by KH Salahuddin Wahid in transforming the Tebuireng Islamic boarding school. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research analyzes various data sources such as documents, interviews, and observations. The findings indicate that KH Salahuddin Wahid applied innovative transformational leadership strategies in modernizing the Tebuireng boarding school without abandoning its traditional values. Several key strategies implemented include: (1) Human resource empowerment through improving the quality of education and training for students and educators. (2) Curriculum innovation by integrating modern science into religious learning. (3) Strengthening organizational governance with greater transparency and accountability. (4) Building networks of cooperation with various educational institutions and communities. These strategies have successfully brought about significant changes in the Tebuireng boarding school, including improved education quality, development of the boarding school's economy, and strengthening the role of the boarding school in society. This research makes a significant contribution to understanding the dynamics of transformational leadership in the context of Islamic boarding schools. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other boarding school leaders in their efforts to modernize boarding schools without neglecting religious values.

This research aimed to determine the Management of the Missionary Cadre Education Program in the Rabbani Quran Memorizer Dormitory and the objectives of the activities in this missionary cadre program for the students. The Rabbani Quran Memorizer Dormitory is one of the dormitories that runs a preacher cadre program designed to develop the character of its students under the direct guidance of the Dormitory Director and the ustadz. This Mubaligh Cadre Program takes place every Sunday, specifically after the congregational Isha prayer, with students taking turns leading the activity. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, focusing on observing ongoing events and processes. Data collection techniques used in this research include interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The description of the results of this research is the preacher cadre program to shape the characteristics of students in the Rabbani Quran Memorizer Dormitory. The steps in forming the characteristics of the students in this missionary cadre program, start from planning the missionary cadre education program, implementing the missionary cadre education program, as well as supervising the missionary cadre education program.

This study seeks to evaluate the efficacy of PowerPoint-based interactive multimedia in enhancing the cognitive skills of fifth-grade primary pupils. A quantitative experimental methodology employing a one-group pretest-posttest design is utilised. Tests are a data collection method applied in research. Data analysis through descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The subject of this research is class V of SDN 26 Talang Ubi. The research results showed that the average score for the pretest of students' cognitive abilities = was 69.25, and the posttest for students' cognitive abilities = was 81.75. These results show that there has been an increase in students' cognitive abilities after using interactive multimedia in learning in class V of SD Negeri 26 Talang Ubi. The N-Gain test obtained an average score of 0.3913, which is in the medium category. In conclusion, the use of interactive multimedia has a significant influence on students' cognitive abilities, but its effectiveness is still relatively moderate.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi pelajaran IPAS untuk siswa kelas IV di SD Sonosewu, Bantul. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini mencangkup dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Sampel penelitian mencakup Kelas IV A yang terdiri dari 27 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan Kelas IV B yang terdiri dari jumlah siswa yang sama yaitu 27 siswa dengan kelompok kontrol.Teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan menggunakan tes berupa pretest dan posttest, dokumentasi, serta analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkan pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Pada kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata posttest mencapai 81,89, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata posttest hanya 67,67. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test, diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pada model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi pelajaran IPAS bagi siswa kelas IV di SD Sonosewu Bantul.

The role of the school head as an internal educational institution leader is the impetus for this thesis, as is the importance of effective leadership within the school's environment for fostering a positive school climate, boosting teacher morale and productivity, and building a strong foundation for student achievement. Quality human beings are in high demand due to the increasing level of competition in today's world, and education is the key to achieving this goal. An improved standard of living is directly proportional to a high quality educational system. For the purpose of research.
