Abstract

The teaching of shorof (Arabic morphology), particularly tasrif istilahi, is often conducted through conventional memorization-based methods that limit students’ engagement and understanding. This study aims to develop Project Based Learning–based teaching materials for the Amstilatut Tasrifiyah book and to examine their effectiveness in improving students’ understanding. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were first-grade students of Madrasah Mu’alimin Mu’alimat Sabilul Hasanah Banyuasin. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to determine the feasibility of the product and the improvement of students’ learning outcomes. The results indicate that the developed teaching materials are feasible based on expert validation and effective in improving students’ understanding, as shown by higher post-test scores compared to pre-test scores. Pembelajaran shorof pada materi tasrif istilahi masih banyak menggunakan metode konvensional yang menekankan hafalan sehingga siswa kurang aktif dan mengalami kesulitan memahami kaidah shorof. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar Amstilatut Tasrifiyah berbasis Project Based Learning serta menguji efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas I Madrasah Mu’alimin Mu’alimat Sabilul Hasanah Banyuasin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, serta tes pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menilai kelayakan produk dan peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak berdasarkan validasi ahli. Selain itu, hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan nilai pre-test dan post-test. Abstract

This study explores the lived experiences of learning anxiety and reluctance among junior high school students in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research involved 12 seventh-grade students at MTs Al Kautsar. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that students experience various forms of anxiety, primarily communication apprehension and fear of negative evaluation, which manifest as classroom participation reluctance. Key contributing factors include a lack of prior English learning experience, limited vocabulary mastery, and negative perceptions of English as a difficult subject. These emotional challenges significantly impact students' motivation, self-confidence, and classroom participation, with higher anxiety levels correlating with lower engagement. Despite these challenges, students employ coping strategies such as independent vocabulary study and seeking help from peers. The study underscores the critical need for supportive learning environments and pedagogical strategies that address the affective dimensions of language learning to foster greater student engagement and reduce anxiety.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of teachers in increasing student learning motivation. Learning motivation is the main driving factor for students to achieve their academic goals. In this article, the author defines what learning motivation is, explains the various forms of motivation, and examines how teachers act as motivators. Apart from that, this article presents various strategies that can be implemented by teachers to increase student motivation, such as implementing interesting learning methods, creating healthy competition, and providing awards or praise. In conclusion, the role of the teacher as a motivate or is very important in creating a positive learning environment and encouraging students to study harder in order to achieve maximum achievement

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the implementation of Linktree-based digital web learning media and its effect on students’ learning outcomes in Informatics for grade X students at SMK Negeri 2 Bone. The study employed a quantitative approach using a nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Bone from September to October 2024. The sample consisted of an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using a normality test and paired sample t-test. The findings indicated that the implementation of Linktree-based learning media was carried out through preliminary, core, and closing stages, and encouraged students’ enthusiasm during the learning process. The experimental group’s mean pretest score was 47.73 and increased to 76.82 in the posttest, while the control group only increased from 40.45 to 44.55. Hypothesis testing showed that t-count = 8.223 > t-table = 2.074 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the use of Linktree-based digital web learning media had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes in Informatics for grade X students at SMK Negeri 2 Bone.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Basmalah method (Learning the Qur’an While Playing for More Enjoyable and Easier Learning) in improving students’ motivation and learning outcomes in the Qur’an Hadith subject for class IX.C at MTsN 4 Bone. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 26 students. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. The results showed that the implementation of the Basmalah method improved students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in learning motivation from 60.2% in the pre-cycle to 74.2% in cycle I and further increased to 85.5% in cycle II. In addition, students’ learning outcomes also improved, with the average score increasing from 59.8 in the pre-cycle to 77.1 in cycle I and 81.7 in cycle II. These improvements indicate that the Basmalah method is effective in creating an active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that the BASMALAH method is effective in improving students’ motivation and learning outcomes in the Qur’an Hadith subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the needs for interactive multimedia-based learning media to support Biology learning at SMA Negeri 18 Medan. Biology learning often faces challenges due to abstract and complex concepts such as genetics and physiological systems, which are difficult for students to visualize using conventional media. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with Biology teachers, utilizing an instrument that covers three main aspects: the implementation of learning models, the use of learning media, and learning constraints. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Biology learning at SMA Negeri 18 Medan still relies heavily on printed books and static media, while the use of complex digital media remains suboptimal due to technical issues and time constraints. Students face significant difficulties in understanding microscopic and dynamic concepts, leading to uneven engagement. The findings highlight an urgent need for interactive multimedia that integrates 3D visualization, virtual laboratories, and gamification to bridge the gap between abstract concepts and concrete understanding, accommodate diverse learning styles, and increase student motivation and participation.

Abstract

Sports are very important for human body health, one of the most popular sports among the Indonesian people is football. Football in Indonesia has developed significantly throughout the country, many football enthusiasts train in this game from an early age, as seen in several regions. One of the developments in football can be seen from the existence of Football Schools in Indonesia, one of which is the Condromowo Ketanggi Football School. One of the movements or exercises that are often performed is kicking towards the goal, which aligns with the objective of this game, which is to score as many goals as possible against the opponent's goal. Therefore, training in kicking the ball towards the goal is conducted. In this study, two types of kicking exercises are carried out, namely moving ball kicks and stationary ball kicks. The aim is to train each player's ability to score. From the results of the experiments and research conducted, the training implemented on the SSB Condromowo Ketanggi students has shown a very significant improvement, making this training very good for enhancing the kicking skills of soccer players. This significant improvement is indicated by the T-Test results with a significance value of < 0.5

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in solving word problems on fraction material and the limited ability of students to understand the steps of problem solving systematically. In addition, the teacher-centered learning process caused students to be less actively involved in learning activities, resulting in suboptimal understanding of mathematical concepts. In fact, learning that emphasizes thinking processes and problem solving can help students understand mathematical concepts more deeply. This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes through the application of the Polya method in solving fraction word problems. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 27 third-grade students at SDN Merjosari III Kota Malang. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches by calculating the mean scores and the percentage of classical learning mastery. The results showed that the application of the Polya method was able to improve students’ learning outcomes. The percentage of learning mastery increased from 51.85% in Cycle I to 85.19% in Cycle II, accompanied by an increase in the class average score. Therefore, the Polya method is effective in improving students’ ability to solve fraction word problems and helping students think systematically in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Environmental awareness among elementary school students is still relatively low, as indicated by their lack of concern for cleanliness and sustainability of the school environment. This condition indicates the need for learning innovations that can foster students' ecological awareness more effectively. This study aims to determine the differences in environmental awareness between students who participate in learning using the Ecoliteracy and Adaptation (ELA) model and students who participate in conventional learning. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The research subjects consisted of two fifth grade classes at Gedongkuning Public Elementary School, each with 28 students as the experimental class and the control class. Data collection techniques used environmental awareness questionnaires, tests, and observations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent sample t-tests on the pretest and posttest results. The results showed that there was an increase in environmental awareness in the experimental class after the implementation of the Ecoliteracy and Adaptation learning model. The average posttest score of students in the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, and the t-test results indicated a significant effect of the use of the ELA model on students' environmental awareness. Thus, the Ecoliteracy and Adaptation learning model is effective in increasing environmental awareness in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning saturation on student learning achievement in class XI IPS in Economics Subject at SMA Negeri 1 Campalagian. The variables in the study are learning saturation as the independent variable (X) and learning achievement as the dependent variable (Y). The population in this study were 110 students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Campalagian. The number of samples was 52 students who were carried out using random sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis, instrument testing, and hypothesis testing using SPSS Version 25. Based on the results of the analysis obtained, it is known that the simple linear regression equation model Y = 95.412-0.277 X which means that for every additional value of learning saturation, learning achievement decreases by 0.277. From the value of the coefficient of determination analysis (r2) obtained the value of r2 = 0.227 which shows that learning saturation has a contribution of 22.7% to the learning achievement of class XI IPS students in the subject of economics at SMA Negeri 1 Campalagian. and the remaining 77.3% is influenced by other factors. Meanwhile, from the results of the t-test analysis obtained a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 which means that the learning saturation variable has a negative and significant effect on the learning achievement of class XI IPS students in the subject of economics at SMA Negeri 1 Campalagian, thus the hypothesis "is accepted".
