Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by the principal of Tarbiyatul Islam Elementary School to strengthen students' moral values based on ecological awareness. The background of this study is based on the urgency of internalizing moral values from an early age, particularly environmental awareness as an integral element of character education. The approach adopted was qualitative with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, involving the principal, teaching staff, and students as the main subjects. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, verification, and conclusion stages. The research findings indicate that the strategies implemented by the principal include several main stages, namely the integration of environmental values into the learning process, the formation of environmental awareness habits such as community service and reforestation programs, role models from the principal and teachers, and the strengthening of a school culture oriented towards environmental conservation. These strategies successfully fostered students' caring attitudes, sense of responsibility, and awareness of the environment. Therefore, the role of the madrasah principal is a crucial element in the formation of students' moral values through a consistent, consistent, and sustainable approach.

Abstract

This research is entitled "An Analysis of Netizen Politeness in the Epilogue of Mens Rea: A Case Study of Pandjie Pragiwaksono's YouTube Comments." This research is motivated by the phenomenon of low levels of digital politeness among Indonesian netizens, particularly in responding to political discourse that triggers polarization. The main problem in this study is how politeness strategies are used and negotiated in the YouTube comment section, which is characterized by the online disinhibition effect. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of politeness strategies based on Brown & Levinson's theory. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative design. Data in the form of netizen comments on Pandji Pragiwaksono's YouTube video "Epilogue of Mens Rea" were collected through documentation, listening, and note-taking techniques using a purposive sampling procedure. Data analysis was carried out through stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions from a pragmatic perspective. The research findings show that netizens employ four politeness strategies: bald on-record politeness for the efficiency of urgent messages, positive politeness for building solidarity, negative politeness through the use of hedges to respect the autonomy of the interlocutor, and off-record politeness through metaphors and sarcasm to avoid direct responsibility for harsh criticism. It was found that politeness in the digital space is fluid; initially cooperative interactions can transform into aggressive ones as threats to "face" increase due to ideological differences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Ilqo’ Mufrodat strategy as an effort to build habit formation in Arabic language skills. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at MAN 4 Jombang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results show that the Ilqo’ Mufrodat strategy is implemented systematically through stages of vocabulary delivery (ilqo’), repetition (tikrar), application (tatbiq), and evaluation (taqwim). Continuous repetition and reinforcement effectively form students' language habits, covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Supporting factors include a conducive language environment (bi’ah lughawiyah) and program consistency, while inhibiting factors include limited time and varying student abilities. Thus, the Ilqo’ Mufrodat strategy proves effective in forming sustainable Arabic language habits among students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the behavior contract technique as an effort to reduce toxic language in Ar-Rifayah Vocational High School students. This study uses a quantitative experimental approach with the T-test (paired sample T-test) method. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique of this study uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis of the T-test (paired sample T-test) to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that there were 12 Ar-Rifayah Vocational High School students who became the research sample. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher, the significance value of the T-test (paired sample T-test) the researcher obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.5, so in this study the researcher concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, because the behavior contract technique was proven effective in reducing students' toxic language and there was a significant difference in the level of toxic language of students before and after being given treatment in the form of group counseling services using the behavior contract technique at Ar-Rifayah Vocational High School.

Abstract

Rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila menjadi permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran sehingga pembelajaran cenderung monoton dan kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui penerapan media pembelajaran puzzle edukasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 16 siswa kelas II SD. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket minat belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan minat belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 25% dengan kategori rendah, kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 87,5% dengan kategori sangat baik. Peningkatan ini ditunjukkan melalui keaktifan, perhatian, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media puzzle edukasi efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' literary appreciation in poetry learning through the use of learning media. The method used is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in several cycles, including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were students of class IX F SMPN 02 Pontianak. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the research show that the use of learning media can increase student activity, understanding of the content of poetry, and the ability to express interpretations. Apart from that, student learning outcomes also increase in each cycle. Thus, the use of learning media is effective in increasing students' literary appreciation in poetry learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students in science learning in grade IV of SDN 56/1 Aro Village. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the improvement of students' critical thinking skills after the application of the model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 22 students. Data were collected through observation and documentation. The results of the study showed an increase in students' critical thinking skills, indicated by the percentage of achievement of critical thinking indicators which increased from 40.91% in cycle I meeting I to 50% in meeting II, then increased to 81.82% in cycle II meeting I and 95.45% in meeting II. Thus, the Problem Based Learning model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of a guided exploratory learning model using the “Flipbook” medium on student learning outcomes in the subject of chemical bonding. This study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method and an unbalanced control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: the experimental group comprised 20 students and the control group comprised 21 students. The results of the study indicate that the average final exam score for the experimental group reached 79, which is higher than the control group’s average of 69. The hypothesis testing results showed a significance level of less than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between the two classes. Furthermore, the N-Gain score for the experimental group reached 66%, which falls into the “moderate effectiveness” category, while the control group’s score of 42%falls into the “low effectiveness” category. From this, it can be concluded that the implementation of the guided exploratory learning model using animated picture books has a significant and effective impact on improving students’ learning outcomes in the subject of chemical bonding.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is that the learning management for students with special needs at SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur has not been optimal due to the absence of a Special Education Teacher, resulting in all learning processes being handled directly by classroom teachers. This study aims to describe the learning management for students with special needs in an inclusive elementary school, covering planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation of learning. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach, using interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur, with the principal and teachers who handle students with special needs as the research subjects. The results indicate that learning planning is carried out through initial identification of the abilities and characteristics of students with special needs; learning organization is implemented by assigning classroom teachers as companions for these students; learning implementation is conducted flexibly through simplified instructional materials; and learning evaluation is carried out in a simple manner through daily observations, adapted assignments, and follow-up actions such as repetition of materials or additional tasks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the role and effectiveness of pastoral leadership in the process of instilling Christian values in the congregation at the City Life Center Assemblies of God Church (GSJA CLC).Christian values are an essential foundation for the congregation's spiritual and moral growth, and the pastor's leadership plays a key role as a role model, teacher, and motivator. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with the pastor and congregation representatives, participant observation, and analysis of internal church documents related to the development and teaching programs.
