Abstract

This research began with the low writing ability of students, especially in creating descriptive texts, which is influenced by limited vocabulary mastery. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of vocabulary mastery on the descriptive text writing ability of seventh grade students of UPT SMPN 2 Tanjung Baru. This study applied a quantitative method with a correlational design. Data were collected through objective tests to measure vocabulary mastery and performance tests to assess descriptive text writing ability, with a total sample of 61 students. The research findings showed that students' vocabulary mastery was in the more than adequate category, and their descriptive text writing ability was also in the more than adequate category. In addition, statistical analysis showed a significant positive relationship between vocabulary mastery and descriptive text writing ability, with a calculated t value (30.65) exceeding t table (1.67) at a 95% significance level. The coefficient of determination showed that vocabulary mastery contributed to students' writing ability. In other words, the better students' vocabulary mastery, the better their ability to write descriptive text.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high rate of early marriage in Muara Delang Village, which ranks second among eight villages in Tabir Selatan District. Based on data from the Marriage Management System (Simkah) website, 57 teenagers have married early in the past three years. This study aims to determine adolescents' self-awareness of social norms as a form of prevention against early marriage due to premarital pregnancy, as well as efforts to foster self-awareness. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that adolescents' self-awareness of social norms in Muara Delang Village has been understood, but has not been consistently applied in daily life. Meanwhile, efforts to foster adolescent self-awareness are carried out through various efforts, including strengthening the role of the family, instilling moral and religious values, reproductive health education, providing positive activities, cross-sectoral collaboration, and education on wise media use.

Abstract

Skripsi oleh Ernawati Therik NIM (2201140073) dengan judul “Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa Kelas V SD GMIT Kuanino 3”. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berbicara siswa, di mana 69% siswa belum mampu berbicara dengan baik, kurang percaya diri, serta mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun kalimat dan mengemukakan pendapat. Permasalahan ini disebabkan oleh proses pembelajaran yang masih monoton, kurang variatif, dan belum melibatkan keaktifan siswa secara optimal sehingga pembelajaran menjadi kurang interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw pada materi cerita rakyat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi, dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 13 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 61% (8 siswa) dan belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal 80%. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa belum terbiasa dengan model Jigsaw , kurang memperhatikan penjelasan guru, serta masih merasa malu dan kurang percaya diri dalam berbicara. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan menjadi 85% (11 siswa), yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya keaktifan, kerja sama, serta keberanian siswa dalam menyampaikan pendapat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa serta menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang aktif, komunikatif, dan bermakna. Abstract

Dunia pendidikan masa kini sedang menghadapi perubahan yang sangat cepat dan kompleks. Globalisasi, kemajuan teknologi, serta dinamika sosial-ekonomi menuntut peserta didik memiliki kemampuan bertahan di tengah tantangan akademik yang semakin berat atau disebut resilien akademik. karakteristik Individu yang resilien adalah memiliki spiritualitas, resilien dapat muncul karena beberapa hal salah satunya karena kecerdasan spiritual, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan spiritual dan resiliensi akademik siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah systematic literature review, data penelitian di ambil dari database google scholar, peneliti menganalisis dokumen-dokumen terkait kecerdasan spiritual dan resiliensi akademik dengan menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish (PoP) dari rentang tahun 2020 sampai 2025 dan kemudian di olah menggunan metode PRISMA. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil kecerdasan spiritual memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan konsisten terhadap peningkatan resiliensi akademik siswa. Siswa dengan kecerdasan spiritual tinggi lebih mampu mengelola stres, mempertahankan motivasi, dan beradaptasi dengan tuntutan akademik, termasuk dalam situasi krisis. Faktor seperti dukungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan motivasi intrinsik turut memperkuat hubungan tersebut.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism is a key factor in improving the quality of education; therefore, systematic guidance through academic supervision by school supervisors is essential. This study aims to describe the implementation of supervision by school supervisors in enhancing the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Astambul District. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through a field study. Informants were selected using purposive sampling and included school supervisors, principals, and teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation as well as member checking. The findings indicate that supervision was implemented systematically through the stages of planning, execution, and continuous coaching and follow-up. The process involved a collaborative approach between supervisors and principals, leading to improvements in lesson planning, the use of varied teaching methods and media, more effective classroom management, and enhanced teacher reflective practices. Although several challenges were identified, such as limited time, varying levels of teacher readiness, and inadequate facilities, collaborative strategies helped to address these issues. In conclusion, supervision by school supervisors plays a strategic role in enhancing teachers’ professional competence and improving the overall quality of learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi dan integrasi literasi digital serta literasi informasi dalam konteks pendidikan, khususnya pada Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di era disrupsi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, jurnal, dan dokumen terkait yang diklasifikasikan menjadi sumber primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital dan informasi bukan sekadar kemampuan teknis penggunaan perangkat, melainkan kompetensi kognitif, etis, dan spiritual yang mencakup kemampuan berpikir kritis serta verifikasi informasi (tabayyun). Dalam perspektif Islam, literasi berakar pada perintah membaca (Iqra) dan kewajiban melakukan klarifikasi terhadap informasi untuk menghindari hoaks. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa integrasi kedua literasi ini dalam pembelajaran sangat strategis untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik yang cerdas dan bertanggung jawab, meskipun implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya kemampuan literasi siswa dan keterbatasan fasilitas.

Abstract

Literacy skills are one of the most important aspects for every student in the learning process, however, the scientific writing skills of students of SMA N 1 Kamang Magek are still below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), learning is still teacher-centered, and students do not understand the structure of scientific work in depth. This study aims to determine students' writing skills before and after the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model, and to examine whether there is a significant influence of the implementation of the PjBL model based on local wisdom. The method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the average score in the experimental group was higher than the control group for all indicators, namely content development with a comparison result of 89.6 > 84.4, scientific work structure with a comparison result of 93.1 > 90.5, linguistic rules with a comparison result of 91.3 > 80.1, and EYD with a comparison result of 70.6 > 69.0. The results of the mean difference test (t-test) produced a t_count>t_table (2.82>2.048) with significance at the 95% level, which means there is a significant influence of the application of the Project Based Learning model based on West Sumatra local wisdom on students' scientific writing skills. It can be concluded that the scientific writing skills of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kamang Magek using the project based learning model based on West Sumatra local wisdom are better than using the learning model without using the project based learning model based on West Sumatra local wisdom.

Abstract

Quality education requires professional and competent teachers. However, the unequal distribution of teachers and the low competence of elementary school teachers remain significant challenges in Indonesia, particularly in disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions. This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to the unequal distribution of teachers and its impact on the competence of elementary school teachers. The method employed is a literature review by examining 15 relevant scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025, obtained from Google Scholar. Data were analyzed using a thematic analysis approach, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the unequal distribution of teachers is caused by mismatches in academic qualifications, inadequate workforce planning, and limited incentives in remote areas. These conditions lead to low mastery of pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. Therefore, policies based on competency-based teacher placement, continuous professional development, and strengthened monitoring and evaluation systems are necessary to improve the quality of basic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the condition of adolescents' awareness in performing Friday prayers and to examine the role of Islamic education in shaping such awareness in Mokobeau Village, South Buton Regency. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, in which data were collected through in-depth interviews with 20 purposively selected male Muslim adolescent informants, non-participatory observation during Friday prayer services, and field documentation. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive analysis model encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with method triangulation applied as the data validity technique. The findings reveal that adolescents' awareness in performing Friday prayers falls into three typologies, namely high, moderate, and low awareness. Adolescents with high awareness are driven by intrinsic motivation cultivated through habituation from an early age, while those with moderate and low awareness rely more heavily on external factors or lack sufficient motivation altogether. Islamic education is proven to play a significant role in shaping this awareness through three primary channels, namely the family environment as the first and most dominant institution of religious guidance, the mosque community as a center of informal education, and village social interaction as a mechanism of collective reinforcement. Adolescents who receive comprehensive Islamic education through all three channels simultaneously demonstrate the highest levels of awareness and consistency in worship. These findings contribute to the strengthening of youth character formation in alignment with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of quality education and the development of peaceful and sustainable communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reading literacy needs of third-grade elementary school students, including their reading ability levels, the difficulties they face, and the efforts needed to overcome those difficulties. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method. Data were collected from various sources such as books, scientific journals, and relevant research articles, and were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results indicate that third-grade students are in the transitional stage from early reading to reading comprehension. However, several difficulties are still found, including lack of reading fluency, limited vocabulary, and low comprehension skills. These difficulties are influenced by internal factors such as low reading interest, as well as external factors such as limited variation in teaching methods and lack of supportive literacy environments.Efforts to overcome these difficulties include implementing interactive teaching methods, utilizing engaging learning media, providing continuous reading practice, and creating a conducive literacy environment. In addition, teachers need to provide special guidance for students who experience reading difficulties. Therefore, analyzing reading literacy needs is essential as a foundation for designing effective learning strategies. This study is expected to contribute to improving students’ reading literacy skills at the elementary school level.
