Abstract

This study examines the actual operational performance of a 2.4 kWp on-grid photovoltaic (PV) system installed at the Electrical Engineering Laboratory of Politeknik Negeri Manado. The system was developed within a Teaching Factory-based Solar Laboratory framework, integrated with a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) monitoring platform. Field measurements were conducted over three months — January through March 2026 — using a Haiwell PLC, an HMI unit, and a three-phase power meter. Four performance indicators were calculated: Final Yield (Yf), Reference Yield (Yr), Performance Ratio (PR), and system efficiency. Average monthly irradiance reached 496.5 W/m², producing a Reference Yield of 4.97 kWh/m²/day. The system delivered a Final Yield of 3.64 kWh/kWp/day, a Performance Ratio of 73.2%, and a system efficiency of 16.3%. Deviation from the initial Detail Engineering Design projections remained below 4% across all parameters, confirming technical alignment between design and actual implementation, and validating the system for vocational education use.

Abstract

The globalization of education encourages policy convergence through the influence of international institutions. This study aims to analyze the Case Study of Global Education Policy: Studies by the OECD, UNESCO, and the World Bank on Education Policy in Indonesia. The method used is a literature study with a comparative qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that Indonesian education policy is influenced by global standards such as PISA, SDGs, and efficiency-based approaches. Comparison of education between countries in the context of a case study of global education policy is a very important study to understand how the process of globalization influences the direction, structure, and practices of education systems in various countries. Globalization encourages countries to adopt international education standards, such as strengthening global literacy, improving the quality of human resources, and implementing universal education quality indicators. In addition, globalization also opens up space for the exchange of best practices between countries as an effort to increase educational competitiveness at the global level. Through a comparative education approach, this study seeks to identify similarities, differences, and forms of adaptation of education policies implemented by various countries in response to global demands as well as diverse local needs. This approach allows researchers to understand how global education policies are interpreted and implemented according to the social, cultural, economic, and political contexts of each country. With a comparative approach, this research is expected to provide strategic and practical recommendations for policy makers in developing an adaptive, inclusive, and internationally competitive education system without ignoring local values ​​and national development

Abstract

This study is based on the low level of reading comprehension skills and the less-than-optimal development of students' character in elementary schools due to learning methods that are still monotonous and teacher-centered. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the reading aloud learning model supported by character-building storybooks, both in improving engagement, reading comprehension, and students' character values. The method used is descriptive qualitative with research subjects consisting of fourth-grade students and a teacher at SD Negeri 2 Kayuagung. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with validity testing through source triangulation. The results of the study show that the implementation of reading aloud can increase students' active engagement, help comprehension of reading content, and foster character values such as honesty, responsibility, and social awareness. In addition, the use of interesting storybooks containing moral values strengthens the process of character internalization in students. Thus, the reading aloud learning model supported by storybooks has proven to be effective as an alternative in literacy learning and character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

The teaching of Indonesian at primary school level encompasses four key skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. However, in practice, pupils in the lower years often struggle to understand the information conveyed by their teachers, which affects their motivation to learn. The aim of this study is to describe the use of digital flashcards with audio in the teaching of Indonesian. The method applied in this study is descriptive qualitative. This method was chosen because it facilitates direct observation of the learning process in the classroom and allows for the assessment of changes in students’ motivation and listening skills. The results of the study indicate that the majority of students appeared enthusiastic and more focused when participating in learning activities supported by digital audio-based flashcards.

Abstract

The novel Hujan by Tere Liye not only presents an engaging story about love, loss, and environmental change, but also contains various profound moral values. This study employs a structural literary approach to analyze the relationship between the intrinsic elements of the novel and the moral values contained within it. The purpose of this research is to describe the intrinsic elements of the novel Hujan and to identify the moral values conveyed by the author through the story. The method used is descriptive-analytical with data collection techniques in the form of literature study, intensive reading, note-taking, and data classification. The results show that intrinsic elements such as theme, characters and characterization, plot, setting, point of view, and language style work synergistically to construct the moral messages in the novel. The moral values found include perseverance, empathy, sacrifice, faith, responsibility, and environmental awareness. This study confirms that the novel Hujan functions not only as entertainment, but also as a medium for moral learning for readers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the success of curriculum implementation from an educational management perspective through a qualitative literature review focusing on leadership, learning media, instructional strategies, teacher performance, and curriculum monitoring. Ongoing curriculum reforms that demand managerial and pedagogical adaptation constitute the central issue of this research. The study employed a qualitative library research approach by analyzing relevant national and international scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2026 and indexed in academic databases. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using thematic analysis, including data reduction, categorization, and conceptual synthesis. The findings identified five major themes: (1) instructional leadership as the driving force of implementation, (2) optimization of digital and contextual learning media, (3) adaptive student-centered instructional strategies, (4) strengthening teacher performance through professional learning communities, and (5) reflective, data-based curriculum monitoring and evaluation. The results indicate that successful curriculum implementation is not merely determined by policy or document changes, but by the systemic integration of managerial functions and pedagogical practices within a collaborative school culture. Theoretically, this study enriches the literature by proposing a holistic and integrative framework of curriculum management. Practically and at the policy level, the findings highlight the importance of strengthening instructional leadership, enhancing teacher capacity, and establishing sustainable monitoring systems. Future research is recommended to empirically test the proposed conceptual model across diverse educational contexts to broaden the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the demands of the digital era, which require teachers to be innovative and utilize technology to achieve the goals of the continuously evolving Kurikulum Merdeka. However, there are limitations faced by teachers in the learning process within the digital era. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection was obtained through observations, interviews, and validation questionnaires provided to three experts (content, language, and media), as well as practicality response questionnaires given to teachers and students at four schools: UPTD SD Negeri 03 Tujuah Koto Talago, UPTD SD Negeri 05 Tujuah Koto Talago, UPTD SD Negeri 06 Tujuah Koto Talago, and UPTD SD Negeri 09 Tujuah Koto Talago. The results indicate that the developed interactive e-book media has met the feasible and applicable criteria. Based on the validity tests, the results obtained from the content expert reached 93.3% (very valid), language validation 91.34% (very valid), and media validation 80% (valid). The practicality test results from teachers at various schools showed an average percentage above 80% (very practical), and the student practicality questionnaires showed an average above 89% (very practical). Based on this data analysis, it can be concluded that the interactive e-book media based on Book Creator using the PBL model for IPAS learning in Grade IV has been declared very valid theoretically and very practical operationally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between TikTok social media usage and the social behavior of elementary school students using an exploratory quantitative approach based on the K-Means Clustering algorithm. The research subjects consisted of 50 fifth- and sixth-grade students from several elementary schools selected purposively based on the criterion of actively using TikTok. The instrument used was a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire covering two variables: social behavior and TikTok usage. Data were analyzed through several stages, including descriptive statistics, normality testing, Spearman’s correlation, and K-Means clustering to identify patterns between the two variables. The descriptive analysis showed that the mean score of students’ social behavior was 34.12 (SD = 4.274), while the mean score of TikTok usage was 28.30 (SD = 4.087). The correlation analysis revealed a positive relationship, with a Spearman’s coefficient of 0.411 and a significance value of p = 0.003. The clustering analysis produced three clusters: (1) low TikTok usage–low social behavior, (2) moderate TikTok usage–moderate social behavior, and (3) moderate usage–high social behavior. This pattern indicates a positive and consistent relationship between the two variables. Therefore, it can be concluded that TikTok usage, in certain contexts, may contribute to the development of students’ social behavior, although it is also influenced by other external factors.

Abstract

Learning in elementary education requires contextual approaches that connect scientific concepts with students’ real-life experiences. However, Integrated Science (IPAS) learning in many schools remains abstract and less effective in fostering conceptual understanding and character development, particularly nationalism values. This study aims to describe the implementation of ethnoscience integration in IPAS learning and its impact on fostering nationalism among elementary students. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design was conducted in a fourth-grade classroom at SD Negeri Joho 01 Sukoharjo, Indonesia. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that ethnoscience integration through contextual activities, such as industrial visits to traditional herbal medicine production and hands-on local product practices, significantly enhances students’ conceptual understanding of energy transformation and matter changes. Furthermore, it improves student engagement, learning motivation, and nationalism values, as reflected in their appreciation of local products, cooperation, and cultural pride. These findings suggest that ethnoscience-based learning serves as an effective and meaningful strategy to support contextual learning and strengthen character education within the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Religious Program at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Program Keagamaan (MAN-PK) MAN 2 Samarinda using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with an evaluative research design. Research participants included the MAN-PK program coordinator, religious education teachers, and MAN-PK students, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic coding techniques through stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, resembling qualitative analysis with NVivo software. Data credibility was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the context aspect reflects clearly formulated program objectives aligned with the policies of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and well understood by all stakeholders. The input aspect shows that teacher competence and student selection systems are adequate, although supporting facilities still require improvement. The process aspect reveals that the implementation of religious learning activities such as kitab studies, Qur’anic memorization, Arabic language development, and habituation of worship practices is structured and intensive, yet faces challenges related to students’ workload management. The product aspect demonstrates positive outcomes in enhancing students’ religious competence, discipline, and religious character development. Overall, the implementation of the MAN-PK Religious Program at MAN 2 Samarinda is categorized as good. Strengthening supporting facilities and optimizing program management are recommended to ensure program sustainability and continuous quality improvement.
