Abstract

This study aims to describe the development process and integration process of Islamic boarding school values, as well as the rationale for developing a blended learning model based on Islamic boarding school values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at MTs Nurul Hasan Sumberagung, within the Nurul Hasan Islamic Boarding School. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed an interactive model encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that the development of blended learning was carried out through a combination of computer laboratory-based learning and face-to-face learning based on halaqah (religious group discussions). Students were not permitted to bring mobile phones, so digital learning access was conducted in a scheduled and controlled manner in the computer lab. The integration of Islamic boarding school values such as etiquette, discipline, responsibility, and deliberation was carried out at every stage of learning, from planning, implementation, and evaluation. This model was developed in response to the needs of 21st-century digital literacy without ignoring the characteristics and culture of Islamic boarding schools. This study concludes that the development of blended learning based on Islamic boarding school values can be an adaptive learning model that harmoniously integrates technology and Islamic boarding school traditions. This model contributes to improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning while strengthening the character of students in Islamic boarding school-based madrasah environments.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in managing student conflicts through an interpersonal conflict management approach and to identify the challenges and obstacles teachers face in its implementation at SD Negeri 3 Lakatan. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects were fifth-grade teachers, while the object of the study was the strategies used by teachers to manage interpersonal conflicts among students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teachers applied various interpersonal conflict management strategies, including collaborative, accommodating, compromising, competing, and avoiding approaches. The collaborative strategy was the most dominant and effective, as it fostered empathy, mutual respect, and fairness among students. These strategies not only helped resolve conflicts but also instilled important character values such as honesty, responsibility, and discipline. The main challenge faced by teachers was encouraging students to be honest and open, while external obstacles included unsupportive social environments, limited parental involvement, and time constraints. Therefore, the success of teachers’ strategies in managing student conflicts can be optimized through synergy between schools, families, and the community. This study is expected to serve as a reference for teachers and future researchers in developing effective conflict management strategies in elementary school settings.

Abstract

In the midst of the nation’s moral bankruptcy, rampant acts of violence, politicians’ incoherence regarding political rhetoric and daily educational behavior. With character education implemented systematically and continuously, students will become intellectually, spiritually and emotionally intelligent (Kasrani, 2018). Intelligences are important provisions for students in preparing for the future, because someone will more easily and successfully face all kinds of life challenges, including, the challenge of realizing a Golden Indonesia 2045 (Inevianti, 2018). Based on the statement above, efforts that can be made to create a golden Indonesia generation in 2045 are by implementing ISEQ-based character education. ISEQ-based character education is a combined education system of several intelligence characters, namely intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ), and spiritual intelligence (SQ) (Triyono, 2016). This research aims to find out what kind of implementation is being carried out at SDIT Al Mashduqi in a effort to create a golden Indonesia generation in 2045. This research uses qualitative research methods. Qualitative research is research that is descriptive and tends to use analysis. The data collection technique used in this research was triangulation (combined), namely by observation and interviews. The results of this research explain that the implementation carried out by schools in improving the there ISEQ-based intelligences in the effort to realize a Golden Indonesia in 2045 has been very good. This can be seen from the school’s thoroughness in teaching each lesson to its students using several methdos, programs implemented by the school and the school’s concerm for its students by holding parent meetings of students involving psychologists.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research on first language (L1) transfer in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts, covering publications indexed in Scopus from 2015 to 2025. Using a systematic search strategy combining terms such as L1 transfer, language transfer, first language transfer, and mother tongue interference within EFL and English writing contexts, a final dataset of 95 articles was retrieved and analyzed. The study employed VOSviewer software to construct co-authorship networks at both author and country levels, as well as keyword co-occurrence maps. Descriptive analysis was conducted using Scopus's built-in Analyze Results feature. Findings reveal a general upward trend in publication output, with a notable surge from 2022 to 2025. China emerged as the most productive country, while the Netherlands served as the primary hub of international collaboration. Six thematic clusters were identified, encompassing EFL transfer in writing contexts, error analysis and contrastive linguistics, crosslinguistic influence and L2 development, EFL writing skills and pedagogy, corpus-based L1 transfer studies, and L1 transfer among Chinese EFL learners. Keywords such as language transfer, L1 transfer, and EFL consistently dominated the field, while English writing and EFL writing contexts have emerged as increasingly prominent themes in recent years. These findings provide a comprehensive overview of the intellectual landscape of L1 transfer research in EFL contexts and offer directions for future inquiry.

Abstract

Dance arts coaching at Rutan Kelas II B Nganjuk has operated incidentally without adequate curricular foundations no competency standards, no structured material sequencing, and no standardized evaluation instruments. This condition undermines the rehabilitative function that should be central to the correctional system, particularly for female inmates who face multilayered psychological pressures. This study aims to design an adaptive, structured dance arts education curriculum that is responsive to the unique conditions of female inmates in correctional settings. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with female inmates, correctional officers, and the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections of East Java, alongside policy documentation review. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles. Three key findings emerged. First, the designed curriculum successfully shifts dependency away from the physical presence of instructors toward a self-directed, method-based instructional system, consistent with Clark's theory. Second, the modular design employing material segmentation techniques effectively accommodates variations in inmates' detention periods each individual can achieve complete competency regardless of sentence duration. Third, integrating a humanistic approach into the curriculum structure enables the simultaneous pursuit of Rineksapanala dance mastery and character rehabilitation alongside social reintegration goals. This curriculum is not merely an administrative document; it serves as a coaching instrument with direct implications for enhancing the quality of rehabilitation and social reintegration for female inmates.Dance arts coaching at Rutan Kelas II B Nganjuk has operated incidentally without adequate curricular foundations no competency standards, no structured material sequencing, and no standardized evaluation instruments.
