Abstract

The right to education is a constitutional right guaranteed by Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. However, its implementation still faces various obstacles, such as poverty and high school dropout rates, including in Jambi City. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the "Sekolah Rakyat" (People's School) Program in fulfilling the right to education in Jambi City. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the Sekolah Rakyat Program plays a vital role in providing educational access for underprivileged children through a free, dormitory-based education system. Nevertheless, its execution still encounters challenges, such as limited resources and program reach. Consequently, the Sekolah Rakyat Program serves as a strategic alternative in supporting educational equality, though it still requires optimization in its implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the use of cash and Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) payment methods on sales at the Corak Coffee MSME during the period 2022–2025. This study uses a comparative quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data in the form of monthly sales reports. Data collection was conducted through documentation, while data analysis was performed using SPSS application through descriptive analysis, normality tests, ANOVA tests, and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results show that, on average, sales through QRIS (mean = Rp5,494,943.75) are higher than cash payments (mean = Rp4,609,139.58). The ANOVA test yielded a significance value of 0.027, indicating a statistically significant difference in the average value between the two payment methods at the α = 0.05 level. However, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yielded a significance value of 0.145, indicating that the difference is not statistically significant using the non-parametric approach. This means that although QRIS tends to generate higher sales values, its use has not shown a significant difference compared to cash payments when assessed non-parametrically. Thus, QRIS has become a potential payment alternative for MSMEs, although cash payments still play an important role in daily transaction activities.

Abstract

Learning media are important because they can increase students’ interest and motivation in learning, facilitate understanding of subject matter, and make the teaching and learning process more effective, efficient, and enjoyable. This study aims to determine the effect of using digital animation media on students’ understanding of addition and subtraction operations in grade II at SD Inpres Bontoala II, Gowa Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design. The subjects of this study were all second-grade students at SD Inpres Bontoala II, Gowa Regency. The results showed that there was a significant effect on students’ understanding of addition and subtraction operations. This can be seen from the average pretest score of 71.05, which was still below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM), and then increased in the posttest to an average score of 87.63, reaching the category of classical completeness. In addition, the results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, so H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly reshaped educational systems, particularly in the practices and instruments of managerial supervision. Despite this shift, supervisory practices in schools largely remain administrative and have not been fully aligned with data-driven approaches required in the digital era. In this regard, transformational leadership is considered a key driver in facilitating effective, adaptive, and innovative educational management. This study aims to examine managerial supervision practices and instruments through the lens of transformational leadership in the digital context. This research adopts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining 25 relevant scholarly articles published within the last five years, obtained from Google Scholar and ERIC databases. The analysis followed systematic procedures, including article selection, data extraction, and synthesis, to identify emerging patterns and research gaps.The results indicate that transformational leadership significantly contributes to the shift in managerial supervision from administrative routines to strategic, technology-oriented practices. Furthermore, supervisory instruments have evolved from conventional formats to digital systems that enable more accurate and data-informed decision-making. The study emphasizes that integrating transformational leadership with managerial supervision practices and instruments is essential for improving educational quality in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of internalization of local cultural character values ​​on students' learning behavior in mathematics learning based on the integration of behaviorism learning theory and local culture in ethnomathematics learning. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative research with a population of 19 fifth-grade students at SDN Sukarasa 01, Tanjungsari District, Bogor Regency. To obtain research data, the results of observations of pedagogical practices in fifth-grade students and interview sheets of fifth-grade students after carrying out learning activities are observed. The findings of this study indicate changes in behavior in mathematics learning after being given a stimulus (S) by combining local cultural elements (traditional food and regional traditions) into mathematical problems (story problems related to fractions) and given reinforcement such as star stamps and points on student worksheets. To improve students' understanding in performing mathematical arithmetic operations, students are given repeated practice (drill) as a form of reinforcement. The conclusion of the research findings is that students show active participation behavior during mathematics learning.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has revolutionized education, particularly Islamic Religious Education (PAI), through the metaverse as an immersive virtual space integrating virtual reality, augmented reality, and social interaction. This study synthesizes recent literature to map the opportunities and challenges of the metaverse as a PAI learning medium, addressing the gap in systematic analysis that remains partial in prior studies. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with thematic literature synthesis methods, content and thematic analysis were applied to categorize findings from pedagogical, technological, spiritual, technical, and ethical-spiritual perspectives. The synthesis reveals transformative opportunities: pedagogically, through authentic virtual Hajj simulations that enhance student engagement; technologically, via VR/AR and AI for inclusive accessibility in remote areas; and spiritually, by strengthening the internalization of Islamic values through profound emotional experiences. However, challenges include infrastructure disparities (internet access, device costs), low teacher literacy (52% adaptation difficulties), digital distractions, and ethical risks such as the loss of worship authenticity and deviations from Sharia principles. The discussion emphasizes gradual integration based on an Islamic ethical framework, blended ADDIE training, and national regulations to ensure the metaverse enriches humanistic learning aligned with noble character. This research offers conceptual contributions for PAI teachers and policymakers, recommending hybrid development that prioritizes student equity and faith in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model assisted by audio-visual media on elementary school students' reading comprehension ability. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental desian with a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, each consisting of 15 students Data were collected through tests in the form of pretest and posttest to measure students' reading comprehension ability. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. This is indicated by the axerage posttest score of the experimental class, which was 76.00, higher than that of the control class, which was 64.67. In addition, the result of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, indicating that the application of the CIRC model assisted by audio-visual media has a significant effect on students' reading comprehension ability. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of microlearning delivered via a short-form video platform in improving AutoCAD learning outcomes among vocational students. Although digital learning has been widely adopted, research on the role of social media-based microlearning in the context of technical and procedural learning remains limited. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group involving 63 students from a vocational high school. Data were collected through cognitive tests, practical performance assessments, and affective observations. Statistical analyses included the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, the Mann–Whitney U Test, and calculations of effectiveness using N-Gain. The results indicate that students who participated in microlearning demonstrated significantly better performance compared to the control group, with higher post-test scores and N-Gain values in the moderate category. This intervention effectively reduced cognitive load and improved visual-procedural understanding. This study contributes to digital pedagogy by demonstrating that short-form video platforms can be effectively integrated into vocational education to enhance technical competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services using the WDEP technique in improving students' self-understanding. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. The study sample consisted of 30 students, consisting of 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group, selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using a self-understanding questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using independent sample t-tests using SPSS. The results showed that the average self-understanding score in the experimental group increased from 62.20 in the pretest to 84.27 in the posttest, while in the control group it increased from 63.13 to 69.13. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Thus, group guidance services using the WDEP technique were effective in improving students' self-understanding.

Abstract

Written communication is a fundamental competency in geography education for articulating spatial analysis and scientific arguments. However, the assessment of this aspect is often hinSdered by the lack of standardized instruments. This study aims to analyze the quality of assessment instruments for students’ written communication skills and to measure students’ achievement in terms of validity, reliability, gender, and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dimensions. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample of 25 students who were tested using 10 case-study-based essay questions on disasters. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment validity tests, Cronbach’s Alpha reliability, and comparative descriptive statistics. The results indicate that all items were deemed valid with calculated r values ranging from 0.764 to 1.000 (exceeding the critical r value of 0.3961), and the instrument demonstrated very high reliability with an Alpha value of 0.973. Overall, 92% of students fell into the “Very Good” proficiency category with an average score of 92.24. Gender analysis revealed that female students demonstrated higher performance consistency (100% in the “Very Good” category) compared to male students, who exhibited greater score variability. Additionally, the instrument, which integrates 46% of items at the C4 (Analysis) cognitive level, proved capable of accurately measuring students’ HOTS abilities. It is concluded that this assessment instrument is suitable for use in geography assessment, and strong written communication skills serve as a crucial foundation for students’ success in solving HOTS-based questions.
