Abstract

Antibiotic use in livestock production contributes significantly to antimicrobial resistance, creating urgency for more sustainable alternatives. Lactobacillus-based probiotics have been widely explored, but their effectiveness varies depending on livestock species, strain, dosage, and rearing conditions, highlighting the need for comprehensive evaluation. This systematic review aimed to assess the role of Lactobacillus in suppressing pathogenic bacteria, improving animal performance, and its potential as an alternative to antibiotics or antibiotic growth promoters (AGPs). The study applied a Systematic Literature Review approach using the PICO framework and PRISMA guidelines. Literature searches were conducted in Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and ScienceDirect, focusing on empirical studies published in the last 10 years. Study quality was assessed using MMAT, and data were synthesized through thematic analysis with NVivo 14. Out of 106 identified records, 61 studies met the inclusion criteria. The findings indicate that Lactobacillus suppresses pathogens through competitive exclusion, acidification of the gut environment, and production of antimicrobial metabolites. Evidence of improved performance was strongest in broilers and pigs, particularly in weight gain and feed efficiency, while layers showed improvements in egg production. However, variability across studies suggests context-dependent outcomes. Overall, Lactobacillus shows strong potential to reduce antibiotic reliance, though further research is needed to standardize applications and validate its effectiveness across production systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of kinesthetic learning style on the writing process and outcomes of children aged 4–5 years at TK Ma’arif NU Hasanudin Surabaya. This research employs a qualitative approach with a single instrumental case study. The subject is a 4-year-8-month-old boy (RF). Data were collected through observation, teacher interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with triangulation. The results show that RF’s writing process involves physical activities such as arranging beads into letters, walking along letter patterns on the floor, and using hand gestures to form letters. These activities effectively improve motivation, understanding, and letter retention. RF’s writing ability has developed, particularly in forming straight and curved lines as well as simple letters, although neatness still needs improvement. RF also frequently plays with objects while writing as a strategy to maintain focus. This study concludes that movement-based and experiential learning strategies are highly effective for kinesthetic learners. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to integrate physical activities and concrete media into writing instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, price, and promotion through Instagram social media on purchase intention of Lafy products in Samarinda. The background of this research is based on the increasing competition in the beauty industry and the importance of marketing strategies in attracting consumer interest. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique using questionnaires. The sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that partially, product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention with a significance value of 0.009, price has a positive and significant effect with a significance value of 0.007, and promotion through Instagram social media has the most dominant influence with a significance value of 0.000. Simultaneously, these variables significantly affect purchase intention with a significance value of 0.000 and a coefficient of determination of 92.2%. it can be concluded that product quality, price, and Instagram promotion together can increase consumer purchase intention toward Lafy products in Samarinda.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in enhancing students’ ecoliteracy through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA 2020 framework. The review included peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2026, obtained from several international databases such as ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, MDPI, Taylor and Francis, Sage Journals and Google Scholar. A total of 10 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that PjBL consistently has a positive impact on students’ ecoliteracy across various educational levels. The improvement is reflected in multiple dimensions, including environmental knowledge (cognitive), environmental attitudes and awareness (affective), pro-environmental behavior (conative), and creativity and practical skills. Among these, the cognitive dimension is the most frequently developed, followed by affective and behavioral aspects. Variations in PjBL implementation, such as PjBL-STEM, STEAM, ecopreneurship-based PjBL, and differentiated PjBL, show different strengths in enhancing specific ecoliteracy dimensions. Overall, PjBL is proven to be an effective and holistic learning approach that integrates knowledge, skills, and real-world experiences. However, gaps remain in terms of limited global research distribution and the lack of long-term studies. Therefore, future research is recommended to conduct longitudinal and cross-cultural studies to strengthen the generalizability of findings.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition where the lecture method still dominates as the main approach most commonly applied, as well as the limitations of audio-visual-based learning media that are contextually based on local content in elementary school IPAS learning. The material "How We Live and Grow" has abstract and dynamic characteristics, requiring media that can visualize concepts concretely and meaningfully for fifth-grade students. This research aims to determine the validity level of animated learning video media infused with Tri Hita Karana values on this material based on expert assessment. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Product validation was conducted by four experts, including two content experts and two media experts, using an instrument adapted from the Learning Object Review Instrument (LORI). The validation results showed an average content validity percentage of 93% with a "suitable" criterion, and an average media validity percentage of 85% with a "sufficiently suitable" criterion. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of the three dimensions of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy, namely Parahyangan, Pawongan, and Palemahan, as core content in the animated video learning media for IPAS in elementary schools, which has not been thoroughly studied in previous research. The implications of the research indicate that this media has the potential to enhance contextual learning, visualize abstract concepts interactively, and strengthen students' character and local cultural identity in line with the spirit of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study explores students’ reflective abilities in solving contextual problems through deep learning-based Akidah Akhlak instruction at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. The research was motivated by the limited ability of students to relate Islamic values to real-life situations and the dominance of teacher-centered learning in the classroom. The purpose of this study was to analyze students’ reflective abilities, the implementation of deep learning-based instruction, and the role of the Merdeka Curriculum in supporting reflective learning. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving students of class VIII F and the Akidah Akhlak teacher. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students’ reflective abilities gradually developed through contextual and interactive learning activities such as discussion, problem-solving, and reflection sessions at the end of learning. Students were able to understand the meaning of the learning material, connect it with daily life experiences, and evaluate their attitudes based on Akidah Akhlak values. Furthermore, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum contributed to creating active, flexible, and student-centered learning environments that supported the development of reflective thinking. This study implies that teachers need to continuously develop deep learning-based instruction to strengthen students’ reflective abilities and encourage meaningful Islamic learning experiences

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in improving elementary school students’ learning outcomes and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation during the learning process. This study employed a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The data were obtained from various relevant sources such as books, scientific journals, research articles, and academic documents related to the Teams Games Tournament learning model and elementary school students’ learning outcomes. Data collection techniques were conducted through documentation studies and content analysis, while data analysis was carried out by collecting, reviewing, comparing, and classifying information based on the research themes. The results showed that the use of the Teams Games Tournament model was able to create an active, interactive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere, thereby improving students’ motivation and learning outcomes in elementary schools. This model also improved students’ cooperation, responsibility, communication, and participation during the learning process. In addition, the implementation of the TGT model helped students understand the material more easily because the learning process was packaged through group discussions, educational games, and academic tournaments. Supporting factors in implementing the TGT model included teacher creativity, the use of attractive learning media, and active student participation. Meanwhile, the obstacles found included differences in students’ abilities, limited learning time, and teachers’ readiness in implementing innovative learning models. Therefore, the Teams Games Tournament model can be used as an effective alternative learning model to improve elementary school students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study conducts a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences in the use of rhetorical devices in the lyrics of the albums by The Fighting Boys and Coboy Junior. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method combined with a comparative analysis approach. The research objects are four songs from the album Youth Training Manual by The Fighting Boys and four songs from the album Kamu by Coboy Junior. The rhetorical devices used in these lyrics are systematically identified, classified, and compared. The results show that Chinese lyrics tend to employ rhetorical devices such as metaphor, personification, hyperbole, metonymy, parallelism, antithesis, and repetition, emphasizing themes of youth development, dreams, and faith. Meanwhile, Indonesian lyrics commonly use hyperbole, pleonasm, alliteration, assonance, and inversion, highlighting themes of love, friendship, courage, and team spirit. From the perspective of rhetorical devices, Chinese lyrics demonstrate a relatively greater variety of rhetorical forms, resulting in richer expressions. This is related to the more comprehensive and diverse theoretical system of Chinese rhetoric, which is often used to enhance imagery and deepen the ideological meaning of the lyrics. In contrast, Indonesian lyrics use fewer rhetorical devices and tend to express emotions more directly, making the lyrics more rhythmic and engaging. Although the lyrics from both countries focus on themes of youth, dreams, and emotions, differences can be observed in their modes of expression and cultural values. Chinese lyrics tend to emphasize symbolic meaning and spiritual aspirations, whereas Indonesian lyrics highlight direct emotional expression and youthful vitality.

Abstract

Among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar. The research questions formulated for this study are: 1) What is the level of knowledge regarding sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar?, 2) What is the level of knowledge regarding sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar after the use of instructional videos?, and 3) Is there an improvement in the knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar through the use of instructional videos? The objectives of this research are to determine: 1) The knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities prior to the use of instructional videos, 2) The knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities after the use of instructional videos, and 3) The improvement in the knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities. The subject of this study was a seventh-grade female student with an intellectual disability. Data collection techniques utilized an initial test (pretest) and a final test (posttest). Based on the research data gathered from the subject at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar, the conclusions of this study are: 1) The knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar prior to the use of instructional videos fell into the highly inadequate category; 2) The knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar after the use of instructional videos fell into the adequate category; 3) There is an improvement in the knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar following the use of instructional videos.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison between the philosophies of constructivism and pragmatism in understanding Islamic Cultural History materials. The philosophy of constructivism emphasizes that knowledge is actively constructed by students through experience and interaction in the learning process, while pragmatism focuses on the usefulness of knowledge and its application in everyday life. This study used a qualitative method with a library research approach. The data were obtained from various sources such as books, scientific journals, articles, and other references relevant to the research topic. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively and analytically through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that constructivism focuses more on developing critical thinking skills, understanding historical concepts, and students’ active participation in constructing knowledge about Islamic Cultural History. Meanwhile, pragmatism emphasizes contextual learning, direct experience, and the application of Islamic historical values in real life. The similarity between the two philosophies lies in their orientation toward student-centered learning, while the differences can be seen in their objectives and approaches to acquiring knowledge. Therefore, the application of these two educational philosophies can provide a positive contribution to improving students’ understanding of Islamic Cultural History materials in a critical, applicable, and meaningful way.
