Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji satuan lingual pengisi gatra depan (Vorfeld) dalam kalimat deklaratif bahasa Jerman pada buku Netzwerk Neu B1. Permasalahan penelitian berfokus pada distribusi konstituen di posisi Vorfeld serta status gramatikalnya berdasarkan teori valensi verba bahasa Jerman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan bentuk kelas kata (Wortklassen) yang menduduki posisi Vorfeld serta menentukan statusnya sebagai argumen (Ergänzung) atau adjung (Angabe). Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa teks bacaan formal dalam buku Netzwerk Neu B1. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak catat dan dianalisis menggunakan teori Verbvalenz dan Wortklassen dari Engel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi Vorfeld memiliki fleksibilitas sintaktis yang tinggi, tetapi tetap terikat pada aturan topologi dan valensi bahasa Jerman. Satuan lingual yang mengisi Vorfeld ditemukan berstatus sebagai argumen wajib maupun adjung opsional. Dari segi kelas kata, Vorfeld didominasi oleh nomina, frasa nomina, dan pronomina yang berfungsi sebagai argumen, sedangkan adverbia, adjektiva, dan frasa preposisional cenderung berfungsi sebagai adjung. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penempatan konstituen non-subjek pada Vorfeld memicu mekanisme inversi guna mempertahankan posisi verba finit pada urutan kedua (Verbzweitstellung). Dengan demikian, distribusi satuan lingual pada Vorfeld tidak bersifat acak, melainkan ditentukan oleh relasi valensi verba dan struktur topologi kalimat. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kajian sintaksis bahasa Jerman melalui integrasi teori valensi dan topologi kalimat pada teks bahasa Jerman tingkat menengah serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pembelajaran sintaksis bahasa Jerman.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low ability of students in writing formal letters, particularly in terms of letter structure, writing format, and the use of appropriate language conventions. In addition, students’ participation in writing activities was still relatively low because the learning model applied in the classroom was not sufficiently varied. This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Round Table cooperative learning model and to identify the results of its application in teaching formal letter writing to seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources consisted of the Indonesian language teacher and students’ formal letter writing assignments. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the implementation of the Round Table cooperative learning model was carried out through several systematic stages, including the formation of heterogeneous groups, collaborative writing activities, exchange of group work, feedback sessions, and evaluation of discussion results. The application of this model was able to increase students’ active participation, cooperation, and involvement during the learning process. Furthermore, the results of students’ writing in the second worksheet showed improvement compared to the first worksheet, especially in terms of the completeness of formal letter structure, appropriateness of writing format, use of formal language, and application of Indonesian spelling conventions. Therefore, the Round Table cooperative learning model can be effectively implemented to improve students’ formal letter writing skills.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the mathematics learning process tends to apply abstract concepts, directing students to memorize rather than understand, and is considered a difficult and unpleasant subject. The lack of contextualization in learning often results in students being taught without the use of concrete media or media related to real-life experiences. One alternative that can be used is to apply a deep learning approach assisted by congklak media. This study aims to examine the significant effect of applying a deep learning approach assisted by congklak media on the learning outcomes of third-grade students in multiplication at SDN Kranjingan 03. This study used a pre-experimental pattern, namely a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The subjects of this study were all third-grade students at SDN Kranjingan 03, consisting of 28 students. The data were analyzed using normality tests and pairedt samples tests. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the application of the deep learning approach assisted by the congklak media on the learning outcomes of third-grade students in multiplication at SDN Kranjingan 03. This was proven by the results of the hypothesis test using the Paired Samples Test, with the result that the t-count value was -11.811 with a t-table value at df = 27 with a significance level of 5% being 2.052. This shows that the t-count value is ≥ t-table. In addition, the significance value (sig. 2 tailed) reached 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the implementation of Biology laboratory activities at SMA Negeri 9 Makassar based on three stages: preparation, implementation, and closing activities. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach involving 137 eleventh-grade Biology students as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 30 statements and were supported by interviews and observations of Biology teachers. The data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the mean scores for each indicator of laboratory implementation. The results indicated that the overall implementation of Biology laboratory activities was categorized as good, with a mean score of 4.04. The preparation stage obtained a mean score of 4.02, the implementation stage 4.17, and the closing stage 3.96, all of which were classified as good. The implementation stage achieved the highest score, while the closing stage showed a relatively lower score although it remained in the good category. These findings were supported by interview results indicating that teachers had conducted laboratory activities systematically; however, several constraints remained, particularly limited laboratory equipment and instructional time. Therefore, improvements are needed in evaluation and laboratory report preparation as well as in providing adequate laboratory facilities to optimize the implementation of Biology laboratory activities.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the science experiment method on elementary students’ Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning outcomes within the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The study was motivated by the low level of student engagement and conceptual understanding in IPAS learning, which was still dominated by conventional teacher-centered instruction. Previous studies have primarily focused on science subjects separately, while empirical studies investigating experiment-based learning in integrated IPAS subjects remain limited. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 23 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 044825 Gundaling I selected through total sampling. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normalized gain (N-Gain), paired sample t-test, and Cohen’s effect size analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, indicated by the increase in the mean score from 63.04 in the pretest to 92.76 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the science experiment method significantly affected students’ IPAS learning outcomes. Furthermore, the N-Gain score of 0.80 was categorized as high, while Cohen’s d effect size of 1.87 indicated a strong effect. The findings imply that experiment-based learning supports active, meaningful, and student-centered learning experiences that align with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the mudharabah contract in the hajj savings product at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Panorama Bengkulu and to identify the supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and customers’ perceptions regarding transparency and fairness in the mudharabah contract. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants consisted of the Branch Operations & Service Manager (BOSM), Customer Service (CS), and five hajj savings customers. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of the mudharabah contract in the hajj savings product at BSI KCP Panorama Bengkulu has been carried out in accordance with Islamic economic principles. The contract applied is mudharabah muthlaqah, where customers act as shahibul maal and the bank acts as mudharib. The profit-sharing system is implemented based on a predetermined ratio agreed upon at the beginning of the contract. Supporting factors include the high public interest in performing the hajj pilgrimage, a flexible savings system, and effective bank services and promotions. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include low public literacy regarding Islamic banking, the relatively small profit-sharing ratio, and customers’ economic conditions. Customers generally perceive the transparency and fairness of the mudharabah contract positively, although their understanding of the profit-sharing mechanism remains limited. This study recommends enhancing Islamic financial literacy and education to optimize the implementation of the mudharabah contract.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the short course program at Nanchang Normal University on the development of Mandarin language skills of students in the Mandarin Language Education Study Program at UNM. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a pre-test and post-test experimental design. The data were collected by measuring students’ Mandarin language proficiency before and after participating in the program. The results show that prior to joining the short course, students’ Mandarin proficiency was at a moderate level and not yet optimal, particularly in speaking and writing skills, which were still weak in terms of vocabulary mastery and sentence structure. After completing the program, students’ proficiency improved to a good level, with the average score increasing from 108.18 to 158.91. This improvement is reflected across all four language skills, especially in listening and speaking. The results of the paired sample t-test indicate a significance value of 0.001 (< 0.05), meaning that the short course program has a significant effect on students’ Mandarin language proficiency. Therefore, the short course program is proven to be effective in improving Mandarin language skills and can be recommended for curriculum development and academic policy at UNM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of creative economy learning methods on students’ learning interest at Mts Mohamad Hekal. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling techniques, focusing on classes considered ready to receive creative economy–based learning. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The questionnaire instrument was used to measure students’ learning interest before and after the implementation of the creative economy learning method. This learning method was applied through brainstorming activities, project-based creative production, and simple economic simulations that actively involved students in the learning process. The results showed that the implementation of creative economy learning methods had a positive effect on students’ learning interest. Improvements were found in students’ enthusiasm, attention, enjoyment, and participation during classroom activities. In addition, students became more active in discussions, teamwork, and expressing their opinions. Creativity-based learning also helped students understand the material more concretely and meaningfully through direct experience. Therefore, the creative economy learning method can be used as an effective alternative learning strategy to improve students’ learning interest in Islamic-based schools.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low and uneven distribution of elementary students’ mathematical conceptual understanding, particularly in multiplication, which is often learned procedurally without deep conceptual meaning. This study aims to analyze the level of students’ mathematical conceptual understanding in multiplication among fourth-grade elementary school students. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach involving 20 students of SDN 3 Sukahaji. Data were collected through a mathematical conceptual understanding test developed based on key conceptual understanding indicators, while data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, including mean, median, mode, as well as the highest and lowest scores. The results revealed that the average student score was 77, which falls into the medium category, with the highest score of 92 and the lowest score of 60, indicating variability in students’ abilities. Based on the categorization results, most students were classified into the medium category, followed by high and low categories, suggesting that students’ conceptual understanding is not yet evenly distributed. These findings imply the need for improvements in the learning process through the implementation of student-centered learning strategies and the use of contextual and varied instructional media to enhance students’ conceptual understanding more effectively

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the School Field Introduction Program II (PLP II) on the readiness of Language Education and Sports Coaching Education students to become professional teachers. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of the study consisted of students participating in PLP II from three study programs. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that PLP II had a significant effect on improving students’ readiness to become teachers, especially in pedagogical competence, classroom management, communication skills, leadership, self-confidence, and learning evaluation. Language education students experienced improvement in communication skills, literacy-based learning, and interactive teaching methods. Meanwhile, sports coaching education students showed increased competence in managing field practice, discipline, leadership, and physical learning strategies. However, several obstacles were still found, such as limited practice time, differences in mentor guidance quality, and unequal student readiness. Overall, PLP II was considered effective in preparing prospective teachers through direct teaching experience in schools and helping students adapt to real educational environments.
