Abstract

Patient health is a holistic condition that encompasses physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. The Islamic counseling approach in hospitals is an important strategy for enhancing patients’ psychospiritual well-being, particularly among Muslim patients. This study aims to analyze the role of counselors in Islamic counseling services in hospitals through a literature review of 12 scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025. The results indicate that Islamic counseling is effective in reducing anxiety, enhancing inner peace, and strengthening patients’ spiritual coping mechanisms through approaches such as prayer, dhikr, and tawakal. Counselors serve as spiritual facilitators, motivators, emotional guides, and professionals in Islam-based healthcare services. The integration of Islamic counseling into the healthcare system has been proven to improve patients’ quality of life holistically.

Abstract

Twenty-first century learning demanded a transformation in the role of teachers in line with technological advancements, the Industrial Revolution 4.0, and Society 5.0. Teachers were no longer positioned as the primary source of knowledge; instead, they functioned as facilitators who fostered critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills (4C). However, in practice, teacher professionalism faced numerous challenges, including limited digital literacy, frequent curriculum changes, insufficient professional training, and disparities in educational facilities, particularly in remote, outermost, and underdeveloped regions (3T areas). This study aimed to examine the challenges of teacher professionalism in twenty-first century learning and to explore efforts undertaken to address them. The method employed was a literature review, conducted by analyzing various scientific sources such as peer-reviewed journals, books, and relevant research reports.

Abstract

This study examines the readiness of prospective elementary school teachers in implementing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the learning process. The research was conducted based on the importance of HOTS-oriented learning in improving students’ critical, creative, and problem-solving abilities in the 21st century. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of readiness of prospective elementary school teachers in understanding, planning, and applying HOTS-based learning. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The participants of this study were prospective elementary school teachers involved in teaching practice activities. The results showed that most prospective teachers had a good understanding of the HOTS concept; however, several obstacles were still found in its implementation, particularly in designing learning activities and assessment instruments based on HOTS. In addition, limited teaching experience and lack of training were factors influencing their readiness. Therefore, support through training and continuous guidance is needed to improve the competence of prospective teachers in implementing HOTS effectively in elementary school learning. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and provide evidence of the effect of profitability, leverage, and company growth on firm value (Empirical Study of Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2021-2024). The research population consists of all property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2021-2024 using purposive sampling techniques. Data from 72 companies were obtained as samples, resulting in 288 observation data that were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that profitability, leverage, and company growth have a simultaneous significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, the results indicate that, partially, profitability does not affect firm value, leverage has a negative and significant effect, while company growth has a positive and significant effect. This research is expected to provide practical benefits for property and real estate companies, serving as a basis for consideration by companies and investors to increase firm value. Theoretically, this study supports signaling theory by indicating that aspects such as profitability and company growth can serve as signals for investors in assessing or deciding on a company's performance and prospects. Furthermore, this study also supportstrade-off theory by indicating that leverage can be a decision-making factor in achieving a balance between benefits and risks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the family business at Shenda Florist from the Millennial Generation to Generation Z and to explain the role of the successor generation in technology adaptation and business innovation to support business sustainability. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving business owners, successor generation, employees, and customers. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data verification. The results showed that business development occurred gradually following the increasing involvement of Generation Z in business management. The changes were reflected through the use of social media, live streaming, websites, and digital recording systems, as well as product and service innovations such as modern bouquets, flower boxes, flower baskets, flower classes, and workshops. In addition, the involvement of Generation Z contributed to increased revenue, market expansion, and stronger business branding. Collaboration between the Millennial Generation and Generation Z created a business management pattern that was more adaptive to technological developments and market needs. This study indicates that Generation Z plays an important role in digital transformation and family business innovation to support business sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze child data protection policies on social media in Indonesia and to examine their implementation as well as the challenges encountered in practice. The object of this research is child data protection regulations and their implementation in children’s use of social media in Indonesia. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a normative legal method based on literature review, through the analysis of laws and regulations, academic journals, and policy documents related to the protection of children’s digital data. The findings show that Indonesia has established several regulations, such as the Child Protection Law, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law), the Personal Data Protection Law, and PP TUNAS 2025, which serve as the legal foundation for protecting children’s data in digital spaces. However, the implementation of these regulations still faces various obstacles, including regulatory fragmentation, weak oversight of digital platforms, low public digital literacy, and suboptimal age verification systems and child data protection mechanisms on social media. In conclusion, the protection of children’s data on social media requires a multidimensional approach through strengthened regulations, improved oversight of digital platforms, and enhanced digital literacy among children, parents, and schools. This study recommends the need for regulatory harmonization and collaboration among stakeholders to create a safe digital environment for children.

Abstract

Audit quality reflects the extent to which auditors are able to provide assurance that financial statements have been presented fairly in accordance with applicable accounting standards. This study aims to analyze the effect of Audit Tenure, Audit Committee, and Audit Fee on Audit Quality in Energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022–2024. Audit Tenure is proxied by the number of consecutive years a company has been audited by the same public accounting firm, Audit Committee is proxied by calculating the number of members of the company's audit committee, Audit Fee is proxied by the natural logarithm (Ln) of the total audit fees paid by the company, and Audit Quality is proxied using a dummy variable based on the audit opinion given by the auditor, WTP Opinion (score 1) and Non-WTP Opinion (score 0). This research is quantitative research with a causality design. The data used is secondary data accessed through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the official websites of each company. The population of this study is all companies in the Energy sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2022-2024, with sampling techniques using purposive sampling, resulting in 68 companies as samples, producing 204 observations. The data analysis method used is logistic regression`n analysis using statistical tool. The results of the study indicate that Audit Tenure, Audit Committee, and Audit Fee simultaneously have a significant effect on Audit Quality. Furthermore, the results of the study partially indicate that Audit Fee has a positive effect on Audit Quality, while Audit Tenure and Audit Committee do not affect Audit Quality. In practical terms, this research can be used as a consideration for company management to improve audit quality by providing adequate audit fees so that auditors can carry out audit procedures optimally, thereby ensuring that the financial statements issued have a high level of fairness and reliability. Theoretically, this study supports agency theory, which shows that the existence of external auditors as independent parties plays a role in ensuring that the information conveyed by management to investors is trustworthy and not misleading in decision making.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated video media on students’ learning outcomes in the topic of rights and obligations in grade IV of SD Negeri Oebobo 2. The study employed a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The participants consisted of 22 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The instruments used were multiple-choice questions administered in pretest and posttest activities. The findings revealed that the average student score increased from 67.05 in the pretest to 88.18 in the posttest. Student learning activities also showed very good criteria with an average score of 93.61. Therefore, the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model supported by animated videos positively influenced students’ learning outcomes in Civic Education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of the folklore Legenda Danau Toba in Indonesian language learning as an effort to strengthen students’ cultural identity. The research employed a meta-analysis approach using a systematic literature review method. The data sources were obtained from accredited national journal articles accessed through Google Scholar and published between 2025 and 2026. Data collection techniques included scientific article documentation, article identification, and data classification. The data were analyzed using content analysis through the stages of categorization, synthesis, and interpretation. The findings revealed that the Legenda Danau Toba contains various local wisdom values, such as integrity, environmental awareness, social responsibility, and cultural tolerance. The integration of folklore in Indonesian language learning was found to improve cultural literacy, awareness of local identity, and students’ critical thinking skills. In addition, the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Transformative Teaching (CRTT) approach and creative transformation strategies created more contextual, reflective, and innovative learning experiences. Therefore, local folklore has significant potential as a medium for Indonesian language learning that supports character building and the strengthening of cultural identity among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using Problem Based Learning (PBL)-based e-LKPD assisted by the Liveworksheet application on students’ cognitive learning outcomes and responsibility attitudes in the topic Norms in My Life for fifth-grade students at SDN 44 Bengkulu City, as well as to examine the relationship between cognitive learning outcomes and students’ responsibility attitudes. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of an experimental class that used PBL-based e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet and a control class that used conventional learning. Data collection techniques included cognitive learning outcome tests and responsibility attitude questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-test, N-Gain test, and Pearson correlation test. The results showed that the use of PBL-based e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet had a significant effect on students’ cognitive learning outcomes with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 7.179. In addition, the use of PBL-based e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet also had a significant effect on students’ responsibility attitudes with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 3.632. The correlation test results indicated a very strong and significant positive relationship between cognitive learning outcomes and students’ responsibility attitudes, with a Pearson Correlation value of 0.931. Therefore, the use of PBL-based e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet was effective in improving elementary school students’ cognitive learning outcomes and responsibility attitudes.
