Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Multiple Intelligences learning model on Civic Knowledge and student learning outcomes in the Civics (PPKn) subject at SMP Negeri 3 Tarogong Kidul. The research utilized a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design, involving homogeneous samples divided into experimental and control groups. The results indicate that, statistically, there is no significant difference between the experimental class which implemented the Multiple Intelligences model and the control class which utilized conventional methods regarding both Civic Knowledge and cumulative learning outcomes. However, deeper analysis reveals that students' initial academic ability acts as a dominant moderating variable; this model proved to have a positive and accelerative influence on students with high academic ability, yet it was less effective for students with low academic ability without intensive guidance. Therefore, the implementation of the Multiple Intelligences model in Civics education requires proportional process differentiation to accommodate the diversity of student capacities, ensuring optimal learning outcomes for all students.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study investigates the implementation of the Collaborative Inquiry method to enhance civic consciousness among Phase E high school students in learning about citizens' rights and obligations. The research is grounded in the problem of conventional, teacher-centered instruction that positions students as passive recipients of information, resulting in an understanding of Pancasila values limited to textual memorization rather than meaningful internalization in everyday life. The study subjects comprised tenth-grade students and the Pancasila Education teacher, with data gathered through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The findings reveal that implementing Collaborative Inquiry through five systematic stages Questioning, Data Collection, Analysis and Discussion, Reflection, and Communication was carried out very effectively. This approach successfully transformed the teacher's role from an information provider into an active facilitator, while generating positive student responses and significantly increasing active participation, as the learning material became more realistic and relevant to real-life contexts. The application of this method proved capable of simultaneously developing three dimensions of students' civic consciousness: broadening contextual civic knowledge, strengthening attitudes of tolerance and social concern as part of civic disposition, and improving critical thinking and democratic participation skills as civic skills. Although challenges emerged including limited instructional time and unequal levels of participation among group members these obstacles were successfully addressed through flexible lesson planning and structured role distribution within groups. Based on these findings, this study recommends Collaborative Inquiry as a primary strategy for Pancasila Education, as it is capable of fostering deep understanding and producing transformative, meaningful learning outcomes for students.

Abstract

Indonesian serves as both the national language and the official medium of instruction in education. However, the dominant use of local languages in students’ daily lives may influence the use of Indonesian during learning activities. This study aims to describe the existence of Indonesian as the medium of instruction in the learning process of third-grade students at SDN 4 Cibatu, identify factors affecting its use, and examine teachers' efforts to maintain the use of Indonesian in school. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the third-grade homeroom teacher and 42 students, including 20 male students and 22 female students. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Indonesian remains the primary language of instruction in classroom learning. Approximately 70% of students were able to understand and use Indonesian effectively, while 30% still tended to use Sundanese in daily communication. Factors influencing the use of Indonesian include family environment, community environment, teachers, and students' language abilities. Teachers maintain the existence of Indonesian through language habituation, role modeling, literacy activities, and motivation. Abstract

The low numeracy skills of elementary school students in Indonesia, reflected in the stagnation of PISA scores over the past decade, demand a radical reconstruction in mathematics pedagogy. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the implementation of numeracy literacy in fifth-grade mathematics learning through a literature review approach. The focus of this study is directed at three fundamental aspects: the conceptual redefinition of numeracy literacy within the Merdeka Curriculum framework, the identification of empirical problems at SD Negeri Maospati 1, and the formulation of a strategy for integrating local contexts as a stimulant for critical reasoning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative based on literature studies with content analysis techniques applied to various policy documents, leading scientific journals, and global assessment reports. The results show that numeracy literacy in fifthgrade students is often hampered by a mechanistic approach that separates numbers from students' social realities. This study proposes that the transformation of numeracy skills can be achieved through the "Contextual-Kinesthetic Numeracy" learning model that utilizes the local ecosystem of Magetan, such as market economic activities and agricultural data, as concrete manipulative media. The findings indicate that the integration of authentic problems significantly improves students' data-based prediction and decision-making abilities. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the urgency of a paradigm shift from algorithmic mastery to functional reasoning mastery to create graduates with adaptive life skills in the era of disruption..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model in shaping students' moral awareness toward Pancasila values in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) subjects at SMA Asshiddiqiyah. Along with the challenges of moral degradation in the modern era, instilling Pancasila values requires a contextual approach that goes beyond mere memorization. The method used in this study is a literature review by collecting, reducing, and analyzing data from various scientific journals, books, and curriculum documents relevant to the effectiveness of the VCT model. The results of the literature review indicate that the VCT model is highly effective in stimulating students' reflective abilities. Through the stages of choosing freely, prizing, and acting, VCT helps SMA Asshiddiqiyah students internalize the noble values of Pancasila independently. This model transforms the indoctrination process into a meaningful value dialogue, allowing students to identify, assess, and solve real-life moral dilemmas. The moral awareness formed is not due to coercion, but based on a deep personal understanding of the importance of Pancasila ethics. In conclusion, integrating the VCT model in PPKn learning significantly contributes to strengthening character and shaping students' moral awareness aligned with the Pancasila student profile. Wide implementation is recommended.

Abstract

The construction industry significantly contributes to global carbon emissions, driving the urgency for sustainable and eco-friendly wall material innovations. This study aims to map the trends and evolution of literature regarding sustainable wall material innovations using a bibliometric analysis approach from 2016 to 2026. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method by extracting article metadata from the Google Scholar database using Publish or Perish software. The filtered final data was then analyzed using VOSviewer to generate Network Visualization, Overlay Visualization, and Density Visualization. The network analysis results indicate that global literature is still dominated by the utilization of recycled materials and waste bricks as macro-aggregate substitutes, while regional studies using local terminology remain in peripheral areas. Based on the evolutionary analysis, research trends exhibit a measurable shift from macro-mechanical strength testing toward micro-level material engineering, encompassing the use of alternative precursors and hydration kinetics behavior. Furthermore, the density mapping identified highly potential research gaps in the topics of hydration kinetics, modified thermal property evaluation, and pore maker optimization. These findings conclude that the future direction of sustainable construction material development should not solely focus on structural strength but must integrate micro-chemical interaction analysis and thermal insulation performance to comprehensively support building energy efficiency.

Abstract

Paving block is a surface pavement material widely used in Indonesia for residential, commercial, and public facility areas. The quality of paving block is largely determined by the composition of its constituent materials, particularly the cement-to-sand ratio as the main components. This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in cement and sand mixture on the compressive strength of paving block based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) from various published scientific sources. From the compiled literature, it was found that mixtures with a cement:sand ratio of 1:3 to 1:4 produced the highest compressive strengths of 35-45 MPa, meeting Grade A standards based on SNI 03-0691-1996. Conversely, mixtures with a ratio of 1:7 and above produced compressive strengths below 15 MPa, suitable only for limited use. The water-cement ratio (w/c) also plays a significant role: the higher the w/c ratio, the lower the resulting compressive strength. These findings confirm the importance of optimizing mixture proportions in producing paving blocks that meet national quality standards.
