Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of Islamic automotive financing at Toyota Astra Finance (TAF) Jambi Branch, identify the challenges encountered, and examine the company's efforts to improve marketing effectiveness. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving the branch manager, Chief Marketing Officer, and employees, and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the marketing strategy is implemented through murabahah-based financing products, direct marketing by marketing personnel, and customer education regarding Islamic financing principles. The strategy emphasizes honesty, trustworthiness, transparency, and fairness in its implementation. The main challenges include low public literacy on Islamic financing, the dominance of conventional financing, and limited promotional media. To address these challenges, the company has strengthened educational and promotional activities, improved employee competencies, and expanded public access to information on Islamic financing products. The study concludes that marketing strategies emphasizing education and Islamic values have the potential to enhance the competitiveness of Islamic financing and increase public interest in Sharia-compliant automotive financing.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in overcoming time constraints in fiqh learning based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. CTL is implemented because it has been proven effective in helping students understand learning materials through real-life experiences. However, in practice, teachers face challenges, particularly limited instructional time, especially during group discussions that require considerable time to reach agreements and find solutions. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of CTL encourages students to construct their understanding independently through real-life examples. However, field facts indicate that discussion activities often take longer than planned due to varying levels of student participation and understanding. To address these challenges, teachers need to implement appropriate learning strategies to ensure that the process is more directed, effective, and aligned with the allocated time. One effective strategy is appointing proactive students to initiate discussions. These findings indicate that teachers’ ability to manage time is a crucial factor in the successful implementation of CTL-based learning.

Abstract

Self-confidence is one of the essential aspects of early childhood socio-emotional development because it influences children's ability to interact, communicate, and participate in learning activities. Preliminary observations conducted at PAUD Melati Pujer Bondowoso revealed that most children aged 3–4 years lacked the confidence to perform in front of the class, answer teachers' questions, present their work, and interact with teachers and peers. This study aims to improve the self-confidence of children aged 3–4 years through the implementation of the role-playing method. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages conducted in two cycles. The participants were ten children in Group A at PAUD Melati Pujer Bondowoso. Data were collected through observation using a self-confidence observation sheet and analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques supported by qualitative descriptions. The study is expected to demonstrate that the implementation of the role-playing method can improve children's self-confidence across all observed indicators. The findings are expected to provide an effective learning strategy for enhancing socio-emotional development, particularly self-confidence, in early childhood education.

Abstract

This research was inspired by the minimal responsibility shown by third-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Rahmatullah Thehok in Jambi City, which was evident in their lack of engagement with assignments, adherence to classroom protocols, and ownership of their educational activities. The aim of this study was to analyze the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach to enhance students’ responsibility. The research adopted a Classroom Action Research (CAR) format that was conducted over two cycles. Each cycle included four phases: planning, execution, observation, and evaluation. The study participants were third graders from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Rahmatullah Thehok in Jambi City. Data were gathered through methods such as observation, surveys, documentation, and assessments of learning performance. The analysis was performed using both descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques, by contrasting the outcomes from every cycle. The results indicated that the use of the Project Based Learning model effectively boosted students’ sense of responsibility. This enhancement was shown through increased engagement in project work, improved teamwork skills, better discipline in fulfilling assignments, and a heightened sense of accountability for their tasks. Moreover, the application of this educational approach positively influenced students’ academic performance, as demonstrated by the rising percentage of learning mastery across each cycle. The educational process became more dynamic, cooperative, and centered on the students, leading to more meaningful learning encounters. Based on the results, it can be inferred that the Project Based Learning model effectively promotes the responsibility of third-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Rahmatullah Thehok in Jambi City. Consequently, Project Based Learning can be regarded as a viable teaching model that not only nurtures students’ accountability but also enhances the overall quality of the educational process and outcomes in elementary school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Cooperative Learning method with the Think Pair Share (TPS) technique in increasing student learning activity at Assyafi'iyah Tamberu Agung Batu Marmar Pamekasan Islamic Junior High School and to identify factors that support the effectiveness of its implementation. The research is motivated by the low participation of students during the learning process which is indicated by the lack of courage to ask questions, express opinions, and participate in class discussions as described in the research proposal. The study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students as the main data sources. Data analysis was carried out using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana which includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while the validity of the data was tested through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Think Pair Share technique is able to create more participatory learning through the stages of independent thinking (think), discussing in pairs (pair), and sharing the results of the discussion in front of the class (share). These stages provide equal opportunities for each student to develop the courage to express opinions, improve communication skills, and build cooperation between students. Increased activeness is evident from the increasing intensity of asking questions, answering questions, presenting arguments, and student involvement during the learning process. However, the effectiveness of implementing this method is influenced by the teacher's readiness in managing the class, student characteristics, and learning time management. This study concludes that the Cooperative Learning method, using the Think Pair Share technique, is a relevant learning strategy for increasing student learning activeness in Islamic Religious Education subjects because it is able to transform learning from teacher-centered to student-centered learning.
