Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of grade II students in the subject of Pancasila Education. Students tend to be passive, lack critical thinking, and have difficulty understanding the material because the learning method does not actively involve them. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of learning quality through the optimization of teaching modules, learning implementation, and student learning outcomes. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative and quantitative approach, carried out in two cycles which include the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study are teachers and 15 students of grade II for the January-June 2024/2025 semester. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in all aspects. In Cycle I, the achievement of the teaching module was 85.93% at the first meeting and increased to 90.25% at the second meeting. The activity of teachers and students increased from 82.14% to 89.28%. The average learning outcomes of students in the first cycle reached 77.80% (category B). In Cycle II, the achievement of teaching modules increased to 96.42%, teacher and student activities reached 92.85%, and learning outcomes increased to 90.28% (category A). Thus, the actions taken have proven to be effective in improving the quality of the learning process and outcomes of Pancasila Education in grade II of SDN 04 Talaok.

Abstract

Ayun Luci is a traditional ceremony from the Kerinci community in Jambi Province, Indonesia, which holds deep spiritual and cultural values. This tradition is performed as an expression of gratitude and a prayer to God, seeking protection for rice crops during the grain-filling phase from pests and hoping for an abundant harvest. The ritual involves various cultural elements such as traditional chants (mantras), local culinary offerings, sacred symbols, and the performance of Asyeik dance accompanied by traditional music. However, in the face of modernization and globalization, the existence of this tradition is increasingly marginalized and at risk of extinction. The younger generation, as cultural successors, tend to be unfamiliar with the values and meanings embedded in such local wisdom. This study aims to explore strategies for preserving the Ayun Luci tradition through educational approaches, particularly by integrating traditional dance and music elements into learning activities at the elementary school level. Using a qualitative descriptive method through literature study, the research examines relevant sources related to culture-based education and traditional arts preservation. The findings reveal that developing Ayun Luci into a contextual performing art and incorporating it into local culture-based thematic learning can enhance students’ awareness and appreciation of cultural heritage. Furthermore, such integration promotes students’ artistic appreciation, strengthens cultural identity, and fosters a sense of pride in ancestral traditions. In conclusion, the preservation of Ayun Luci should not rely solely on customary communities but must also be supported by educational institutions. Through culturally responsive curriculum development, this tradition can be continually introduced, studied, and passed on to future generations in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship or not between the level of students' belief that science is related to the religion and their love for the Science. This type of research is correlational. Respondents in this study were the PGSD FIP UNM Campus VI Bone students who took the Basic Science Concepts course in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, in amount of 28 people. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis used was inferential analysis. Results: the data is distributed normatively and homogeneously, the Pearson correlation coefficient value = 0.392, and the sig. value in the correlation test p = 0.039 <0.05 so that H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected. Conclusion: there is a correlation between the level of students' belief that science is related to the religion and their love for the Science and the level of correlation is positive and in Moderate category.

Abstract

This research on the ability to write popular scientific articles aims to explain the influence of learning techniques scaffolding on the ability to write popular scientific articles of Class This research used a Quasi Experimental method involving two groups (two group), namely the experimental class and the control class. The data collection technique uses a test technique in the form of an assignment to write Popular Scientific Articles. Non-test data collection techniques include interviews, observation and obtaining documentation. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the t-test via the IBM SPSS version 25 application. The results of the research showed that learning to write popular scientific article texts using the technique scaffolding that the lowest score in the experimental class was 73 and the highest score was 95 with an average score of 86. The results found that in the experimental class, students were able to write scientific articles well based on the three assessment indicators. The most prominent thing is that students have high scores in the structure adjustment section of popular scientific articles. It is known that the Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.00 < 0.05. Apart from that, based on the assumptions of the t test, it is obtained that the t count is more basic than the t table with α = 0.05 degrees of freedom (dk/df) = n1 + n2 – 2 = 23 + 22 – 2 = 43. By comparing the t count and t table, 10.231 > 1.681 (t count > t table). On that basis, the hypothesis is accepted is Ha with the hypothesis sounding "There is a significant influence of technique Scaffolding compared to lecture techniques in writing popular scientific articles for Class XII SMA Negeri 1 Rundeng Kota Subulussalam in the year 2024-2025 academic year.

Abstract

The quasi-experimental research with the nonequivalent control group design model is based on the low of critical thinking ability and learning outcomes of students of State Elementary School 3 Lemba Soppeng District. The study aims to to find out whether there is a significant influence of the use of Project Based Learning on the critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in the science and social learning of students in grade V State Elementary School 3 Lemba, Soppeng District. The sample consisted of 47 students, divided into 24 students in grade VA (without project based learning model) and 23 students in grade VB (with project based learning model). Techniques of data collection used are observation, tests, and documentation. The result showed that there was a significant influence of the use of the Project Based Learning model on the critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in social and science learning process of students in grade V State Elementary School 3 Lemba Soppeng District. The conclusion of this study is that the use of Project Based Learning has the impacts on improving critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in social and science learning process of students of grade V state elementary school 3 Lemba, Soppeng District.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Know the Potential of Agritourism in Solok Regency. (2) Know how the distribution of agro-tourism in Solok Regency. Descriptive qualitative research type. Selection of research informants by purposive sampling consisting of 6 informants, namely 2 managers, 3 visitors and 1 trader. Data collection techniques by means of field observations, interviews or interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques from field notes, data reduction, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that agritourism in Solok Regency has the potential, namely 1) The attractions of the three attractions are beautiful and green natural scenery, parks, playgrounds, strawberry monuments and fruit picking tours and cultivation of ornamental plants. 2) Amenity, namely guard posts, toilets, parking lots, prayer rooms, stalls, entrance tickets, direction boards, rest areas, trash cans, photo spots. 3) Accessibility, namely the ease of reach to the tourist attraction, at the Sirukam Dairy Fram tourist attraction the road conditions are good and the quality of the road has been paved and access to the tourist attraction is far from the center of the highway, the Dzjikho Strawberry Garden tourist attraction is very strategic and the road conditions are still not good because the road is still gravel and not paved and access to the Alahan Panjang Tea Garden tourist attraction is relatively easy to access because the road to the tourist attraction is in the center of the highway and the road conditions have been paved. 4) Anciliary of the three attractions, namely guide services, Camping Ground (camping area), security posts, Wi-Fi, lodging or homestay. The distribution of agro-tourism in Solok district is very diverse and spread across several sub-districts with varying areas and has diversity ranging from livestock, agriculture, and plantations that make tourists make Solok district one of the tourist destinations and a unique and interesting experience for tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the use of google earth media to improve students' spatial thinking skills and to determine the effect of using google earth media to improve students' spatial thinking skills at SMAN 2 Padang Panjang. The research method used in this study is the Quasi Experiment Method with the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling was done by Random Sampling technique. The samples in this study were X.1 class students as the experimental class given the Google Earth application learning media treatment and X.2 class as the control class given the Microsoft Power Point learning media treatment. Data collection uses multiple-choice pretest and posttest instruments that have been tested for validity, reliability, and observation. The results of this study are that there is an effect of Google Earth Learning Media on the spatial thinking ability of students in class X.1 SMA N 2 Padang Panjang, the average posttest of the experimental class is 84.59 and the control class is 70.73. Data analysis using the paired Sample T-Test test from the calculated data obtained a significance level (Sig.) of 0.001 because the significance is smaller than 0.005 (0.001 <0.005), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of google earth learning media on the spatial thinking ability of SMAN 5 Bukittinggi students. The research method used in this research is experimental method. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The samples in this study were XI F7 students as the experimental class given the treatment of google earth application learning media and XI F6 class as the control class given the treatment of learning media in the form of maps. Data collection using pretest and posttest instruments in the form of multiple choice that has been tested for validity and reliability, as well as observation. The results of this study are the influence of google earth learning media on the spatial thinking ability of students in class XI F7 SMAN 5 Bukittinggi. The average posttest of the experimental class was 85.64 and the control class was 74.08. Data analysis using the Paired Sample T-test test from the calculated data obtained a significance level (Sig.) of 0.001 because the significance is smaller than 0.005 (0.001 &lt;0.005), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The samples in this study were students of class XI.F 1 as the experimental class given the treatment of Google Earth application learning media and class XI. F3 as a control that was treated with Map learning media. Data collection using pretest and posttest instruments in the form of multiple choice that has been tested for validity and reliability, and observation. The result of this study is that there is an effect of Google Earth Learning Media on the spatial thinking ability of students in class XI. F1 SMAN 2 Pariaman. The average posttest of the experimental class was 91 and the control class was 81.39. Data analysis using the Paired Sample T-Test test from the calculated data obtained a significance level (Sig.) of 0.001 because the significance is smaller than 0.005 (0.001 <0.005), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low mathematics learning outcomes of SDN 6 Tambun students, especially in the fraction aspect. To address this issue, the author conducted a study by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model using Powtoon animated videos in the learning process. The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model based on Powtoon animated video media in teaching mathematics to second-grade students at SDN 6 Tambun, (2) to assess the mathematics learning outcomes of first-grade students at SDN 6 Tambun, and (3) to analyze whether there is an effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model using Powtoon animated videos on the mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 6 Tambun. This research employs a quantitative pre-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest design). The study uses observation sheets and learning outcome tests as instruments, with a research sample of 19 students. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using the Paired Sample t-test. The results of this study indicate a probability value of 0.00, which is <0.025, leading to the conclusion that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The positive implication of applying this model with integrated media is that teachers can consider incorporating technology and multimedia into their teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
