Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Literacy and numeracy are two basic skills that are very important for every individual in facing future challenges. This study is motivated by the low literacy and numeracy skills of students in IPAS subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of STEM approach based on literacy and numeracy on human respiratory system material in phase C students of SD N Sampangan 01. This study used pre-test and post-test methods, and quasi-experiment using a nonequivalent control group design pattern. The average results of students' posttest scores after being given treatment using the STEM approach. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between the results of the pre-test and post-test used to measure numeracy literacy skills with the STEM approach. This is evidenced by the results of data analysis using the t test, which shows a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, the decision taken is to reject H0 and accept Ha, which means that there is a significant difference between students' literacy and numeracy skills before and after the application of the STEM approach with the PjBL learning model.

This study aims to determine the influence of the Discovery Learning model on the learning outcomes of students in the IPAS subject at Year 5 of SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo 1, Surabaya. To this day, the learning activities remain predominantly teacher-centred and do not provide opportunities for students to develop independently through discovery and critical thinking activities. The research employs a qualitative approach. The population consists of classes V-A and V-B, each comprising 29 students, which serve as the sample for this study. The data collection technique used is a learning outcome test. Data analysis methods include prerequisite tests, namely normality and homogeneity tests. Subsequently, hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-test. The research instrument utilised comprises pre-test and post-test assessments. The findings indicate a significant difference between the average scores of the experimental and control classes. Data analysis shows that students’ learning outcomes in IPAS, using the Discovery Learning model, achieve an average score of 73.38 in the experimental class, while the control class obtains an average score of 64.59. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model positively influences IPAS learning outcomes, and students taught through this model are more active and demonstrate better understanding compared to those taught using conventional methods.

This research is based on the importance of developing quality LKPD, and prioritizing student-centered learning in order to foster a character of curiosity that is in line with curriculum development. The purpose of this study is to develop LKPD using the project-based learning model on the meaning of Pancasila material for grade IV elementary school. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) type ADDIE. The data collection techniques used are interviews and questionnaires. This study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. This study used 4 certified grade IV elementary school teacher validators who acted as expert judgment. In addition, 25 students participated in the product trial. The results of this study indicate that 1) The development of LKPD using the project-based learning model for the meaning of Pancasila material for grade IV elementary school was carried out using ADDIE steps including: Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate. 2) The quality of LKPD using the project-based learning model for the meaning of Pancasila material for grade IV elementary school obtained an average validation score of 3.79 with the category "very good". The results of limited trials show that LKPD is effective in developing students' curiosity character with a percentage increase of 70% with an N-Gain Score of 0.84 in the high category and LKPD improves learning outcomes with a level of effectiveness in the high category (N-Gain Score 0.82). The ability to write in Arabic (Maharah Kitabah) often poses a challenge for junior high school students due to the lack of engaging teaching materials and teacher-centered learning approaches. This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Ana Muhtarif Al-Khat using the Student Directed Learning (SDL) approach to enhance Arabic writing skills. The research method employs Research and Development (R&D) with a simplified Borg and Gall model consisting of six stages. The results show a significant increase in students' average scores from 62 (pre-test) to 87 (post-test), with material and media validation scores reaching 100 and 84, respectively. The implication of this study is that technology-based LKPD can serve as an innovative solution to improve students' independence and writing skills, while also opening opportunities for the development of similar teaching materials for other Arabic language skills.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the influence of scrapbook learning media on increasing student creativity in Pancasila education subjects in grade 4 at SDN Batokalangan 2, Proppo District. This study uses a type of quantitative research using an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The variables in this study consist of independent variables, namely scrapbook media and variables bound by creativity ability. The sampling technique uses the total sampling technique by taking the entire population of 18 students. The results of this study show that there is an influence of scrapbook media on the increase in creativity of grade 4 students at SDN Batokalangan 2 which can be seen from the pretest and posttest scores.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the ability to solve math story problems on financial literacy skills in grade IV students at SDN Sedati Gede II. Financial literacy is an important skill needed to understand, manage and make wise financial decisions. The ability to solve math story problems is considered relevant in improving financial literacy because it involves logical thinking, analytical processes, and the application of mathematical concepts in the context of everyday life. This study used a quantitative method with a correlational design. Data were collected through a test of the ability to solve math story problems and a financial literacy test. The research sample was fourth grade students who were selected using cluster sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression techniques to determine the relationship and influence between the two variables. The results showed that the results of the simple linear regression equation the value of component a (constant) was 39.878 and the value of component b (regression coefficient) was 0.616. In calculating the regression value, the regression equation is obtained: Y = 39.878 + 0.616X (Y = a + bX) there is a significant positive influence between the ability to solve math story problems on financial literacy skills. This indicates that the higher the students' ability to solve math story problems, the better their financial literacy. This study suggests that educators can integrate the concept of financial literacy into mathematics learning, especially through story problems that are relevant to everyday life.

The purpose of this research is to analyse the impact of using interactive videos on students' scores in the IPAS subject for Year III at SDN Menanggal 601 Surabaya. The low level of students' understanding of IPAS material, particularly regarding energy in our surroundings, serves as the background of this study. During the learning process, many students tend to be more interested in talking or playing on their own, which negatively affects their academic performance, as evidenced by persistently low scores. This study adopts a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. The model employed is the nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SDN Menanggal 601 Surabaya with a sample size of 60 students, selected through random sampling. Data collection was carried out using achievement tests, and data analysis involved prerequisite tests, including normality and homogeneity tests. To test the hypothesis, a t-test was conducted to explore the impact of interactive videos on students' learning outcomes in Year III IPAS lessons. The study results revealed that the average post-test score in the experimental group reached 78.67, while the control group only achieved a significantly lower average of 57.00. According to hypothesis testing using an independent sample t-test, the significance level (2-tailed) was found to be 0.001.

This study aims to evaluate the transformation of geometric thinking of 5th grade elementary school students in solving spatial problems using virtual reality media. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with an exploratory approach method. The data collection technique uses interviews, written tests, observations and documentation. The results of this study indicate a significant increase in the learning outcomes of 5th grade students of SDN Dr. Sutomo V/327 Surabaya in the subject of mathematics on spatial geometry.

This research was motivated by the lack of learning media which resulted in low understanding of concepts. This research aims to increase understanding of science concepts for class VI SDN Bojongmangu 01. The research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The results show that the domino card media was declared "Very Valid" for testing as proven by the validator results, namely obtaining a percentage of 94% media experts, 97.5% language experts, and 92% material experts. The response of teachers and students in small group and large group trials on domino card media was 91% teacher response, 95.5% for small groups and 96.5% for large groups declared "Very Practical" as a science learning media. The domino card media product in the N-Gain score test was to increase understanding of science concepts from the pretest and posttest results which obtained a significance of 0.65 with "medium" criteria. It can be concluded that domino card media can improve understanding of class VI science concepts.

This study has the purpose of raising skill writing class students IVB SDN Kandangan 1 Surabaya through the application of learning model talking stick in coupled with origami media questions. The research is PTK (Class Action Research) conducted in two cycle with a quantitative approach.The subject of this research is 28 students IVB class. Data collection is done through observation early diagnostic tests, writing skills tests, and judgment in attitude on liveliness students. Research shows that there has been a significant increase in students writing skills after enactment of the kind of classroom talking stick by the origami. In the cycle I, the percentage exclusion of learning reached 35%, while in cycle II is 87,5 % increased to. The enhancement of the study results, participation and motivation of students also show positive developments. For that reason, the kind of classroom talking stick by the origami proven effective in improved the skills writing students indonesian language in class 1 IVB SDN Kandangan 1/121 Surabaya.
