Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Empathykit media in differentiated learning as an effort to prevent bullying in elementary schools. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method involving a classroom teacher and sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Pleret Lor. The results showed that differentiated learning integrated with Empathykit media effectively addressed students' diverse learning needs, enhanced empathy awareness, and reduced the risk of bullying. The learning process included diagnostic assessments, grouping based on learning styles, and project-based tasks aligned with students’ interests and abilities. The success of the implementation was supported by teacher collaboration, adequate school facilities, and reference materials from the Merdeka Mengajar Platform. Empathykit has proven to be an innovative solution in fostering a safe, comfortable, and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Mathematics education at the elementary school level has a big challenge in improving students' conceptual understanding and skills. With the rapid development of technology, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) has attracted attention as a solution to overcome problems in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of artificial intelligence (AI) supports elementary school students' mathematical understanding, and to determine the impact of the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting elementary school students' understanding of mathematics. By using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to understand the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting elementary school students' understanding of mathematics. The results of this study indicate that the use of artificial intelligence (AI) when learning mathematics at SDN 28 Koto Merapak has been shown to have a significant impact on students' conceptual understanding, especially in Grade VI. In addition, AI technology can increase students' motivation and commitment to learning.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the implementation of thematic learning in the Merdeka Curriculum at elementary schools. This research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques, including interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The study involved five teachers as respondents. The findings reveal that most teachers possess adequate understanding and experience in designing thematic learning topics, preparing Thematic Lesson Plans (RPP), and integrating local wisdom values into the learning process. However, the main challenges faced by teachers include difficulties in integrating Basic Competencies (KD) across certain subjects and technical constraints, such as limited time and supporting resources. Thematic learning is considered effective, especially for lower-grade students, as it provides concrete and interactive learning experiences. In conclusion, thematic learning within the Merdeka Curriculum enhances the quality of education, though increased resource support and continuous teacher training are necessary. Abstract

Kesejahteraan guru merupakan aspek fundamental dalam dunia pendidikan yang menentukan kualitas pengajaran dan motivasi guru dalam bekerja. Namun, kesejahteraan guru di Indonesia masih menjadi isu yang kompleks, terutama terkait gaji, tunjangan, beban kerja, serta apresiasi dari berbagai pihak. Sejarah menunjukkan bahwa kesejahteraan guru mengalami perkembangan, tetapi masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk kebijakan yang belum sepenuhnya berpihak pada peningkatan kesejahteraan mereka. Kurikulum Merdeka membawa perubahan besar terhadap peran guru, tetapi juga menambah beban kerja yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan mereka. Selain aspek finansial, kesejahteraan guru juga mencakup dimensi non-material seperti keseimbangan emosional, penghargaan sosial, serta dukungan dari lingkungan kerja dan masyarakat. Pemerintah telah mengupayakan berbagai kebijakan peningkatan kesejahteraan, termasuk kenaikan gaji dan tunjangan profesi, tetapi realitanya masih belum mencukupi bagi sebagian besar tenaga pendidik, terutama guru honorer. Oleh karena itu, perlu ada pendekatan lebih komprehensif yang tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek finansial, tetapi juga kesejahteraan psikologis dan sosial guru. Dengan demikian, kesejahteraan guru bukan hanya sekadar utopia, tetapi dapat diwujudkan sebagai realitas yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low computational thinking ability of the science subject of biodiversity material in grade V students of SD N Pengkol 01. This study aims to determine the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving the computational thinking ability of science in grade V students of SD N Pengkol 01. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (PTK) design with the Kemmis & Taggart model consisting of 4 stages, namely: (1) Planning stage, (2) Implementation stage, (3) Observation stage, and (4) Reflection stage carried out in two cycles. The subjects used in this study were 25 grade V students of SD N Pengkol 01. The types of data used are quantitative and qualitative data. The results of the study showed an increase in computational thinking ability. The average class value in cycle I reached a percentage completion of 72% and increased in cycle II by 88%. So, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model can improve the computational thinking skills of class V students of SD N Pengkol 01.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is the main problem of educational units which originates from the philosophy of education in responding to developments over time. This research aims to review the literature on the philosophical foundations of education that support the implementation of independent campuses to create superior human resources 5.0. In the midst of globalization and industrial revolution 4.0, education must adapt to the demands of relevant skills and competencies. The method used is Systematic Literature Review from journal sources 2018-2023 with help of the application publish or perish, then identify the appropriateness test data obtained from 15 journals that match literature objectives. This research explores philosophies such as constructivism, pragmatism, and humanism that emphasize active and collaborative learning. Independent campus research results open opportunities for developing interpersonal skills in human resources. The research conclusion explains the importance of education based on a strong and innovative philosophy that will increase the competitiveness of the quality of Indonesian human resources at the global level. It is hoped that these findings can serve as a guide for developing education policies that are more responsive to the needs of society and industry, and support the achievement of the vision of superior human resources 5.0.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of digital learning media on the teaching skills of grade IV teachers at Pariaman City State Elementary School. Digital learning media is expected to improve the effectiveness and quality of teaching, especially in improving teachers' teaching skills. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach. The sample of this study consists of 1 grade IV teacher in several elementary schools in Pariaman City who use digital learning media in teaching and learning activities. Data was collected through observation, and questionnaires filled out by teachers and students. The results of the analysis showed that the use of digital learning media significantly increased teachers' teaching skills, both in terms of delivering materials, using varied methods, and in increasing interaction with students. The results of this research are expected to be a reference in the development of the use of digital learning media to improve the quality of teaching at the elementary school level, especially in Pariaman City. Thus, the integration of technology in learning is an important step in creating a more effective and efficient education.

Abstract

This article to describe the forms of errors in writing scientific articles and their corrections as an effort to develop strategies in writing scientific papers. Through a qualitative approach, the results of this research will be explained in an interactive descriptive manner. The data used is in the form of errors in writing scientific articles through several scientific disciplines obtained through literature including, writing letters, writing words, using punctuation marks, and grammar in articles. The data source uses a literature review of scientific articles written by students from various higher education institutions. Data collection through literature study. Data analysis through content analysis in scientific articles using listening, reading and note-taking techniques. Data validity uses theoretical triangulation and observer persistence. The research results show that there are common errors in writing scientific articles in the form of errors in the form of writing capital letters, small letters and italics; word writing errors; punctuation errors; grammatical errors, and citation errors as reference sources. These error form criteria will be used as material for developing the quality of learning to write scientific articles among students at universities. This is a form of developing implementation and strategies in writing scientific papers.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the effectiveness of teaching descriptive and inferential statistics to third-semester students of the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Program at Universitas Cenderawasih through the development of an interactive digital learning module based on constructivist theory. The module is equipped with instructional videos, interactive simulations, online quizzes, and discussion forums to facilitate both independent and collaborative learning. The research results show a significant increase (p<0.05) in learning motivation by 25% and conceptual understanding of statistics by 15% in the experimental group using the digital module compared to the control group. Qualitative analysis revealed that students felt more motivated, actively engaged, and able to connect statistical concepts with real-world situations. This digital module demonstrates great potential as a more engaging and effective alternative learning resource, particularly in the context of online or blended learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Example Non Example. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV SDN 04 Talaok Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, serta rendahnya keaktifan dan partisipasi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas IV SDN 04 Talaok, Pesisir Selatan pada semester II tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Dengan jumlah peserta didik yaitu 12 orang, yang terdiri dari 9 orang peserta didik perempuan dan 3 orang peserta didik laki-laki. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan evaluasi hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar peserta didik dari 59,91 (pra tindakan) menjadi 74,46 (B) pada siklus I, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 87,50 (SB) pada siklus II. Selain itu, aktivitas guru dan peserta didik juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dengan predikat sangat baik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Example Non Example efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV SDN 04 Talaok Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.
