Abstract

Creative and innovative learning is key to enhancing students’ understanding of lesson materials. One effective method is mind mapping, which allows students to organize ideas visually and better comprehend complex concepts. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of mind mapping in enhancing students’ creativity in the learning process. Additionally, it identifies the challenges and benefits students experience when applying this method in their learning activities. This research employs a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. Observations were conducted to directly assess students’ activities in using mind mapping during lessons. Interviews were carried out with teachers and students to gain insights into the effectiveness of this method. Documentation was used as supplementary data collection, including students’ completed mind maps. The findings indicate that mind mapping enhances students' creativity in understanding lesson materials. Students become more active in developing new ideas and connecting previously learned concepts. Moreover, this method helps improve students’ memory retention as information is presented in an engaging visual format. However, some challenges were identified, such as time constraints in creating mind maps and certain students’ difficulties in organizing concept maps effectively. Therefore, further guidance from teachers is necessary to ensure students can fully utilize this method. In conclusion, mind mapping is an effective technique for fostering students’ creativity, though it requires adequate support and training for optimal implementation. As a recommendation, teachers should integrate mind mapping regularly into lessons and provide additional guidance to help students become more accustomed to and proficient in using this method.

Abstract

This studi aim to evaluate the effectiveness of the Ramadhan Pesantren Kilat program in improving the Religious Literacy of student at SDN 21 Kayu Aro, as well as to examine the sustainability of student’s practices after the program ends. Additionaly, this research also aims to assess the role of parents in supporting the continuity of religions learning at home. The method used in a qualitative approach with a desctiptive evaluative method, involving direct observation of students and teachers during the activities, as well as the involvement of parent in supporting students’ religious practices after the program conludes. The findings of thisstudy indicate that while the program successfully improved students’ understanding and practice of religious rituals, the sustainability of these habits after the program heavily depends on the support from parents. Therefore, active involvement of parents in this program is crucial to ensure that the relegious practices instilleed during Pesantren Kilat can be maintained in the long term and become part of students’ daiyi routines. The use of technologi-based learning media, differentiated approaches, and collaboration between schools and parents is necessary to improve the sustainability on the program.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the methods that can be used to implement a child-friendly school program to fulfill children's rights at SDN 1 Panggang Jepara and determine the factors that support and oppose the implementation of SRA. The results of previous observations recorded 1,229 cases of violence against children in 2021, while in Jepara Regency there were 31 cases of violence in the same year. The government is trying to address this problem by procuring a child-friendly school program. Descriptive qualitative methods were used in this study. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. After that, it was analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study showed that SRA implemented at SDN 1 Panggang has been running well by meeting 6 indicators, namely: School policies, Curriculum implementation, Educators and education personnel who are trained in children's rights, Facilities and infrastructure, Children's participation, Parent/guardian participation, Community institutions, the business world, stakeholders, and alumni. Based on the research, the SRA program is good with the formation of anti-violence policies, enjoyable education, adequate resources and equipment, active child participation, trained human resources for children's rights, good participation of parents/guardians. Supporting factors in the implementation of SRA in this school are professional educator human resources, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and honing children's talents well. However, the inhibiting components of the SRA program in this school are operational costs for activities and the small number of toilets and the noisy school environment because it is close to the highway making children uncomfortable and there is no support from community institutions, businesses, and alumni. The conclusion is that the implementation has been going well and in accordance with national standards but there are still some shortcomings in fulfilling children's rights. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menerapkan program sekolah yang ramah anak untuk memenuhi hak anak di SDN 1 Panggang Jepara serta menentukan faktor yang mendukung dan menentang pelaksanaan SRA. Hasil observasi sebelumnya tercatat 1.229 kekerasan terhadap anak di tahun 2021, sedangkan di Kabupaten Jepara terdapat 31 kasus kekerasan pada tahun yang sama. Pemerintah berupaya menangani masalah ini dengan pengadaan progam sekolah ramah anak. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Setelahnya, dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SRA diterapkan di SDN 1 Panggang sudah berlajan baik dengan memenuhi 6 indikator yaitu sebagai berikut: Kebijakan sekolah, Pelaksanaan kurikulum, Pendidik dan Tenaga kependidikan yang terlatih hak anak, Sarana dan Prasarana, Partisipasi anak, Partisipasi orangtua/wali, Lembaga Masyarakat, dunia usaha, pemangku kepentingan, dan alumni. Berdasarkan penelitian progam SRA sudah baik dengan adanya pembentukan kebijakan yang anti kekerasan, pendidikan yang menyenangkan, sumber daya dan perlengkapan yang memadai, partisipasi anak aktif, SDM terlatih hak anak, partisipasi orangtua/wali yang baik. Faktor pendukung dalam implementasi SRA di sekolah ini yaitu SDM pendidik profesional, sarana dan prasarana memadai, serta mengasah bakat anak dengan baik. Namun, komponen penghambat dari progam SRA disekolah ini yaitu biaya operasional untuk kegiatan dan jumlah toilet sedikit serta lingkungan sekolah yang bising karena dekat jalan raya membuat anak kurang nyaman serta tidak ada dukungan dari lembaga masyarakat, bisnis, dan alumni. Kesimpulannya yaitu Implementasi sudah berjalan baik dan sesuai standar nasional namun masih ada beberapa kekurangan dalam pemenuhan hak anak. Kata Kunci: Implementasi progam, pemenuhan hak anak, sekolah ramah anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh peningkatan penguasaan materi peserta didik pada materi Getaran dan Gelombang kelas VIII-2 SMPN7 Maluku Tengah yang diajarkan dengan merapkan model pembelajaran Problem Solving. Tipe penelitian ini adalah adalah one group pretest-posstest, dengan 29 peserta didik sebagai sampel penelitian yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data penelitian ini diambil melalui instrument tes dan non tes, dimana sebelum instrument tes berupa tes awal dan akhir, sedangkan instrument non tes berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Hasil penelitian menunjukan kemampuan tes awal 100% peserta didik berada pada kualifikasi gagal dengan rerata nilai 35,33 Sedangkan rerata nilai skor pencapaian kemampuan tes akhir peserta didik berada dalam kualifikasi baik dengan rerata nilai yaitu 78,31 Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji N-gain yang menunjukan rerata nilai <g> peserta didik sebesar 0,50 pada kualifikasi sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem solving pada materi getaran dan gelombang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penguasaan materi peserta didik kelas VIII-2 SMP N7 Maluku Tengah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of religious obedience on students of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The researcher used all students of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya as the population, then several samples were taken using the Stratified Sampling technique. Data were obtained through scales and questionnaires of religious obedience and mental health which were then analyzed using parametric inferential statistical techniques and tested using the t-test and simple regression analysis. The results confirmed that there was an influence of religious obedience on the health of students of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The high and low levels of their obedience in worship also influenced the high and low levels of their health. The mental health of students had an average of 78.2000 with a standard deviation of 6.14175 while religious obedience was at an average of 94.3636 with a standard deviation of 6.58985, F of 47.096 and p value (significance) of 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of gadget use on social interactions of children at elementary school age. Around us, we often see that children at this age have difficulty in social interactions, both with peers and with their surroundings. This phenomenon shows that many children are more focused on gadgets and tend to do activities alone, thus losing the opportunity to interact with others. The method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which aims to study, disseminate, identify, and interpret various studies related to this phenomenon. With the SLR approach, this study succeeded in analyzing and identifying journals systematically. Data were obtained by searching for articles from various online journals through Google Scholar. The results of the study show that excessive use of gadgets, especially without parental supervision, can hinder the process of children's social interactions. Their attention is often diverted from the surrounding environment to gadgets, which in turn results in decreased social interactions with people around them.

Abstract

At SDN 06 Kp Lapai, third-grade students face a variety of challenges in learning mathematics that need to be recognized and addressed. The purpose of this study is to identify these difficulties and recommend appropriate solutions. A qualitative approach was used, with teacher interviews as the main source of data. The results highlighted several key issues. First, students often struggle to understand word problems and to apply the correct formulas. Second, the complexity and unclear nature of some word problems confuse students, which results in a lack of motivation to complete the tasks. Furthermore, students tend to lose interest quickly when faced with long and difficult problems, making them uncertain about how to solve the mathematical questions. To overcome these challenges, it is recommended that teaching methods and materials be adapted to better suit students' needs. This could include using more engaging and interactive teaching techniques and diversifying teaching resources. Continuous evaluation and revision of the curriculum are also necessary to ensure its effectiveness. Additionally, collaboration between teachers and parents is crucial to improving the overall quality of mathematics education at SDN 06 Kp Lapai.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Empathykit media in differentiated learning as an effort to prevent bullying in elementary schools. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method involving a classroom teacher and sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Pleret Lor. The results showed that differentiated learning integrated with Empathykit media effectively addressed students' diverse learning needs, enhanced empathy awareness, and reduced the risk of bullying. The learning process included diagnostic assessments, grouping based on learning styles, and project-based tasks aligned with students’ interests and abilities. The success of the implementation was supported by teacher collaboration, adequate school facilities, and reference materials from the Merdeka Mengajar Platform. Empathykit has proven to be an innovative solution in fostering a safe, comfortable, and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Mathematics education at the elementary school level has a big challenge in improving students' conceptual understanding and skills. With the rapid development of technology, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) has attracted attention as a solution to overcome problems in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of artificial intelligence (AI) supports elementary school students' mathematical understanding, and to determine the impact of the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting elementary school students' understanding of mathematics. By using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to understand the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting elementary school students' understanding of mathematics. The results of this study indicate that the use of artificial intelligence (AI) when learning mathematics at SDN 28 Koto Merapak has been shown to have a significant impact on students' conceptual understanding, especially in Grade VI. In addition, AI technology can increase students' motivation and commitment to learning.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the implementation of thematic learning in the Merdeka Curriculum at elementary schools. This research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques, including interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The study involved five teachers as respondents. The findings reveal that most teachers possess adequate understanding and experience in designing thematic learning topics, preparing Thematic Lesson Plans (RPP), and integrating local wisdom values into the learning process. However, the main challenges faced by teachers include difficulties in integrating Basic Competencies (KD) across certain subjects and technical constraints, such as limited time and supporting resources. Thematic learning is considered effective, especially for lower-grade students, as it provides concrete and interactive learning experiences. In conclusion, thematic learning within the Merdeka Curriculum enhances the quality of education, though increased resource support and continuous teacher training are necessary.
