Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by flashcard media to improve students' conceptual understanding in the IPAS subject for fourth-grade students at SDN 095/I Olak, as well as to describe the improvement in students' conceptual understanding after the implementation. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results show an increase in students’ understanding of IPAS concepts, observed through several indicators: interpreting, giving examples, classifying, summarizing, concluding, comparing, and explaining. The improvement occurred gradually from Cycle I to Cycle II through the application of the PBL model with flashcard support. In Cycle I, the first meeting showed a percentage of 40% of students achieving conceptual understanding, which increased to 54.54% in the second meeting. In Cycle II, the percentage rose to 58.33% in the first meeting and reached 83.33% in the second meeting. This indicates a total improvement of 43.33% from the beginning to the end of the study. These findings demonstrate that the use of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by flashcards is effective in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding of IPAS. Therefore, this model can be considered a viable alternative for teaching IPAS in elementary schools.

This study aims to determine the effect of the mind mapping method on the learning process of creative thinking in IPAS (Science and Social Science) in the topic "Let's Get to Know Our Earth," and to identify the stages of the creative thinking learning process. The research was conducted at SDN 197/IV Kota Jambi in Grade V. This study uses a quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental design. Data collection techniques were carried out by administering essay tests. The data were then processed to compare the final measurements of the experimental class and the control class. The results of the study showed that the learning process of creative thinking in IPAS using the Mind Mapping method in Grade V was more effective than using the direct instruction method. The average final score obtained through the Mind Mapping method was 81.47, while the direct instruction method yielded an average score of 67.50. Based on the t-test, the calculated t-value (tₕ = 6.599) was greater than the t-table value (tₜ = 1.679). According to the test criteria, this indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, confirming a significant difference between the mind mapping method and the direct instruction method. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that learning using the mind mapping method can enhance the creative thinking learning process in IPAS for Grade V students. Therefore, it can be used as an alternative teaching method for IPAS.

Researchers developed augmented reality-based learning media for social studies subjects on cultural diversity in Indonesia. This diversity includes food, clothing, traditional houses, factors that influence cultural diversity in Indonesia, and attitudes towards cultural diversity. Because the material is so extensive, students find it difficult to understand the lesson. In addition, because the teacher only uses the textbook and the lecture or one-way method, the learners' learning outcomes become worse. Analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation are included in the type of development research (R&D) in this study with the ADDIE model. With media that has been validated by material experts with a value of 93.33% and media experts 95.65%, then from the results of students' responses of 90.60% and the results of the evaluation of class IV teachers of 96%, therefore showing that the learning media developed is very feasible to be applied in the learning process. In addition, the results of the T test and N-gain with sig. (2-tailed) of 0.0008 in the T-test and 73.46% in the N-gain test indicate that the learning tools made are effective and can help students improve their learning outcomes about cultural diversity.

Vocational Schools as vocational schools aim to prepare graduates to be ready for work. This can be achieved through learning activities. Learning in vocational schools does not yet integrate work culture in every subject. One of the obstacles experienced was that the available teaching materials had not yet led to the cultivation of work culture, so lecture teaching materials were developed with the theme of 5R work culture. The formulation of the problem in this research is (1) what is the need for lecture teaching materials on the theme of 5R work culture using the recitation learning method for vocational schools in Pekalongan Regency? (2) What is the prototype of lecture teaching materials with the theme of 5R work culture using the recitation learning method for vocational schools in Pekalongan Regency? The aims of this research are (1) to determine the need for lecture teaching materials on the theme of 5R work culture using the recitation learning method for vocational schools in Pekalongan Regency, (2) to produce a prototype of lecture teaching materials on the theme of 5R work culture using the recitation learning method for vocational schools in Pekalongan Regency. This research is development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the modified Borg and Gall model. Usage trial research was carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo and SMK Negeri 1 Kedungwuni. The development stage consists of the teaching material development stage, validation of material experts and media experts, revision I, limited scale trial, revision II, trial use, and final revision. media experts got a percentage of 86%, which means that lecture teaching materials on the theme of 5S work culture are very suitable for use. The percentage of limited trial results by teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo was 86%. The percentage of test scores used by teachers was 97% and 100%. The average scores of students in carrying out evaluations in this teaching material were 87.60 and 89.81. Another result of this research is the finding that students gained a lot of new knowledge about the 5R work culture as seen from the response questionnaire and the highest task score, namely the task of finding the equivalent of 5R words in Japanese. The weakness in this teaching material lies in the design of the teaching material which is less attractive. Students who get lower grades are due to factors such as level of intelligence, interest and motivation.

This research was carried out to determine students’ high-level thinking abilities in ntural Science lessons in elementary schools. In this ever-growing 21st century, students need abilities in learning, namely high-level thinking, students must applys cience learning based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), which is a student thinking process with a higher cognitive level developed from various learning taxonomy concepts such as Bloom’s taxonomy, learning taxonomy, teaching and assessment. The aim of students implementing HOTS is to improve students’ ability to think critically at a higher level. This type of research is qualitative research using the literature study method. The result is that implementing HOTS-based learning in high school elementary schools trains students abilities to think critically, creatively, and solve their own problems with the knowledge they have. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa pada pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di sekolah dasar. Dalam abad 1 yang terus berkembang ini, siswa membutuhkan kemampuan dalam pembelajaran yaitu cara berpikir tingkat tinggi, maka siswa harus menerapkan pembelajaran IPA berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), yang merupakan proses berfikir siswa dengan level kognitif yang lebih tinggi yang dikembangkan dari berbagai konsep taksonomi pembelajaran seperti taksonomi Bloom, taksonomi pembelajaran, pengajaran dan penilaian. Tujuan dari siswa menerapkan HOTS, yaitu agar meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berfikir kritis pada level yang lebih tinggi. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Hasilnya dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS di SD kelas tinggi melatih kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kritis, kreatif, memecahkan masalah sendiri dengan pengetahuan yang dimiliki.

Students' low understanding can result in learning outcomes that are not maximized in learning, therefore the purpose of this study is to implement 3-Dimensional Magic Stair media on student learning outcomes. This research includes Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of 4 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and also the reflection stage. Researchers conducted research with II cycle steps and each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. Researchers used several data collection techniques, including: observation, interviews, tests and documentation. This research was conducted in class 3 UPT SDN 02 Tanjungsari Blitar City. The result of this study is a significant increase in student learning outcomes in math unit length. In addition to the increase in learning evaluation results, there was a percentage of students who touched the KKM score from 58.3% in pre-action to 70.8% in cycle I and ended in cycle II with a percentage of 87.5%.

This research is development research which aims to produce Innovative Folded Book (Bupatif) learning media in Indonesian language subjects to increase the learning motivation and storytelling ability of class III students at SDN 182 Dannuang. The development model used refers to the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation activities. The research results show: (1) the media produced is the Innovative Folding Book (Bupatif) learning media; (2) the Innovative Folding Book (Bupatif) learning media was declared feasible by media, language and material experts with an average percentage of 96% in the very feasible category (3) the Innovative Folding Book (Bupatif) learning media was declared practical based on the practicality observation sheet with category “very practical”; (4) Innovative Folding Book learning media (Bupatif) was declared effective in increasing students' learning motivation and storytelling ability at the media trial, observation sheet and questionnaire stage with the result of increasing learning motivation getting the "very high" category and increasing learning ability getting the category "Very good". There is a significant difference in learning motivation and the results of students' storytelling abilities before and after using the Innovative Folding Book (Bupatif) learning media. Thus, these findings confirm that the Innovative Folding Book learning media can be an effective alternative in increasing students' learning motivation and storytelling ability.

This research uses observations in class II SDN 01 Mojorejo Kota Madiun. The results of observations made show that there is a lack of students' understanding of Mathematics learning. The problem that occurs in Mathematics learning is lack of student motivation in fraction material. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). There are four main activities in this research, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research involved 28 class II students. data collection techniques using observation techniques and test questions in Cycle I and Cycle II. The results of this research show that interactive multimedia as a learning medium in Mathematics, fraction material, can increase students' learning motivation. It can be seen that the results of the test questions in Cycle I with an average score of 57.51% and Cycle II with an average score of 80.46%. From the results of the comparison of increasing changes between Cycle I and Cycle II, it can be concluded that the learning media "Fraction Puzzle "This can increase learning motivation.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pembelajaran siswa dalam keterampilan kolaborasi menggunakan media wayang pada materi hubungan makhluk hidup di kelas III Sekolah Dasar, mendeskripsikan keterampilan kolaborasi menggunakan media wayang dan menjelaskan manfaat penggunaan media wayang dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi hubungan antar makhluk hidup. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini, bahwa proses pembelajaran materi hubungan makhluk hidup dengan media wayang dapat menjadikan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik

The issue of educational policy in Indonesia has become a major concern in efforts to improve human resource quality and global competitiveness. This article aims to analyze the issues of educational policy in Indonesia through a literature review approach. The study identifies key problems such as disparities in educational access, teaching quality, and curriculum relevance to labor market needs. By reviewing various literatures from journals, reports, and academic sources, this article offers a new perspective to formulate more inclusive and adaptive policies. The findings show that educational policies integrated with technology and tailored to local needs have significant potential to enhance the effectiveness of the educational system.
