Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the lack of learning outcomes in mathematics education caused by the application of mathematical media without the assistance of other media. This study aims to determine the effect of the learning media UNTAMATIK (Uno Stacko Matematika Menarik) on the learning outcomes of students at SD Negeri 24 Tanjung Batu. The research method used is an experimental method with a Posttest Only Control Group Design. The subjects of this study are students of class IV A and IV B at SD Negeri 24 Tanjung Batu, totaling 53 students. Data collection methods use tests and documentation. The test instrument consists of multiple-choice questions totaling 10 questions to measure student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique uses Independent Sample T-test. The research results indicate that there is an influence of UNTAMATIK media on the learning outcomes of elementary school students in mathematics, as can be seen from the hypothesis testing results (Independent Sample T-Test) showing a significance value of this study of 0.000 > 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) program focusing on the Critical Thinking dimension, implemented for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Bengkayang. Using a qualitative approach, the research employs observation, interviews, and documentation as primary data collection methods. The findings reveal that the P5 program significantly improved students' critical thinking skills, including problem identification, information analysis, and creative solution formulation. Project-based activities provided opportunities for collaboration, critical thinking, and confidence in presenting ideas. Additionally, students exhibited progress in logical argumentation and reflection on their learning processes. However, challenges such as limited time and diverse student capabilities emerged. Teachers play a vital role as facilitators in fostering an active and inclusive learning environment. Adaptive teaching strategies, such as ability-based group divisions, have proven effective in addressing these obstacles. The study concludes that P5 has substantial potential to enhance students’ critical thinking skills sustainably, preparing them for 21st-century educational demands. It recommends further integration of project-based approaches into the curriculum to optimize learning outcomes and foster holistic development

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how student learning activity is influenced by the use of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in the Indonesian language subject in grade IV at SD Swasta PAB 5 Klumpang, and to identify the challenges faced by teachers in implementing the TGT model in the Indonesian language learning process in grade IV at the same school. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The participants in this study are the sources of information or data required for the research, namely the teacher and the grade IV students of SD Swasta PAB 5 Klumpang. The results of the research conducted in grade IV at SD Swasta PAB 5 Klumpang indicate that student learning activity improves during the learning process when using the Teams Games Tournament model. This is evidenced by the students’ enjoyment, attention to the learning process, interest, and active participation in the learning process. The enthusiasm and motivation of students can be observed throughout the lesson. The challenges faced by the teacher are not too significant, such as students feeling that the group division made by the teacher is unfair. However, the teacher successfully addresses these challenges

Abstract

This study aims to test the validity of the SmartBox interactive learning media developed to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of the human sensory system. SmartBox is an innovative media designed to present information through visual displays, audio, and direct interaction, thereby increasing student engagement and understanding of abstract material. Validation was conducted by three experts: a subject matter expert, a media expert, and a language expert, using a Likert scale-based assessment instrument. This study is a developmental research with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection techniques included observation sheets, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The validation results by the language expert showed a score of 100% (very valid category), The validation results by the language expert showed a score of 100% (very valid category), the subject matter expert obtained a score of 72% (valid category), and the media expert obtained a score of 88% (very valid category). The overall average validation score for the SmartBox media was 85%, indicating that this media falls into the ‘valid’ category and is suitable for use in the learning process. Thus, the SmartBox media has been proven to meet the aspects of content, presentation, and technical feasibility, and has great potential to support student learning outcomes in the material on the five senses. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for further development and implementation of interactive media in thematic science learning in primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the practicality of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based evaluation instruments developed through the Educaplay platform in IPAS learning for fifth-grade elementary school students. In the digital era and with the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, teachers are required to provide evaluations that not only measure basic knowledge but also stimulate students' critical and analytical thinking skills. Educaplay was chosen because it offers interactive exercise features that can support the creation of engaging and easily accessible HOTS questions. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through a practicality questionnaire administered to teachers and students. The practicality test results showed that the instrument was rated as very practical by teachers at 94% and by students at 91%, with an overall average of 92%. These findings indicate that the HOTS-based evaluation instrument using the Educaplay platform is easy to use, efficient in implementation, and engaging and adaptive for users in the elementary school environment. In conclusion, the Educaplay media has a very good level of practicality and can be an alternative digital evaluation media that meets the demands of 21st-century learning. This media has the potential to support student engagement in evaluation and facilitate teachers in managing competency-based assessment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the practicality of iSpring-based interactive learning media in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning in primary schools. Interactive media is considered an innovative learning solution that can provide a more engaging and meaningful learning experience. This study was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach. The instrument used was a practicality questionnaire distributed to teachers and students. The results of the data analysis indicate that iSpring media received very high ratings in terms of ease of use, time efficiency, visual appeal, and support for achieving learning objectives. The average practicality percentage reached 99%, categorised as ‘very practical.’ This media was also found to assist teachers in presenting material more clearly and facilitate students' understanding of IPAS learning concepts.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 27 Cakranegara masih belum maksimal. Permasalahan tersebut di sebabkan karena model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran IPA masih menggunakan model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru (Teacher Centered Learning) dan bukan berpusat pada peserta didik (Student Centered Learning). Selain itu, media pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang bervariasi dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media wordwall terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA kelas IV di SDN 27 Cakranegara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan tipe Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. Hasil uji hipotesis di peroleh melalui uji independent sample t test mendapatkan sig. 0,024 < 0,05 dan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,324 > 2,011, yang artinya Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dilihat dari kelima sintaks model pembelajaran problem based learning terdapat 3 sintaks yang paling memberikan pengaruh terbesar terhadap indikator pemahaman konsep konsep IPA; (1) mengoorganisasikan peserta didik untuk belajar, (2) membimbing penyelidikan kelompok, dan (3) mengembangkan dan menyajikan hasil. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media wordwall terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA kelas IV di SDN 27 Cakranegara.

Abstract

The methods and media that are often used by teachers are generally lecture methods, which results in students quickly becoming bored with the learning process. This study was conducted to identify the effectiveness of kahoot in improving students PPKN learning outcomes. All 18 students from class 3 at MIS Yasim Roka were selected as subjects for the study. Data collection techniques using tests in the form of pre-test and post-test. The instrument in this study was to use a learning outcome test with 10 multiple choice questions and documentation as supporting data. The pre-test result showed that out of 18 students, only 1 student (5.56%) achieved the minimum completenedd score (score 65). In contrast, in the post-test, all 18 students (100%) managed to score above the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM).

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning medium in the form of a puppet stage as a storytelling tool for early childhood in kindergarten. Storytelling is an effective learning method for stimulating children's language development, imagination, and social and emotional values. However, the lack of engaging and interactive media often becomes an obstacle in applying this method in early childhood education settings. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the development model, adapted up to the limited product trial phase. The results of the study indicate that the developed puppet stage is capable of increasing children's interest and participation in storytelling activities. Evaluations from teachers and children show that this medium is engaging, easy to use, and effective in supporting the achievement of learning objectives. Thus, the puppet stage medium can be considered an innovative alternative for storytelling activities in kindergarten.

Abstract

This study investigates the gotong royong values among fourth-grade A students at SD Negeri 057/I KM V Muara Tembesi, focusing on the Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project (P5) through a quantitative descriptive method using structured observations. The research instrument was designed around seven indicators categorized into three main aspects: the collaboration aspect, which includes cooperation (X1), communication (X2), positive interdependence (X3), and social coordination (X4); the caring aspect, comprising social environmental responsiveness (X5) and social perception (X6); and the sharing aspect, represented by the sharing indicator (X7). Results indicate that a majority of students fall into the Good and Very Good categories for collaboration and caring aspects, with the highest scores in positive interdependence (X3) at 92% and social environmental responsiveness (X5) at 77%. Additionally, 77% of students also achieved Good and Very Good ratings in the sharing aspect (X7). These results suggest that the P5 implementation has effectively fostered the internalization of gotong royong values among students within the framework of project-based learning at the elementary level.
