Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to develop a place value learning tool based on "Spedomatik" toimprove the understanding of mathematical concepts in grade II elementary schoolstudents. The research uses the ADDIE development model which includesAnalysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Datacollection techniques included interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests.The subjects were 28 second-grade students at SD Islam Insan Taqwa. Theresults showed that the developed Spedomatik media met valid, practical, andeffective criteria. This was based on expert validation results with an averagepercentage of 81.6% (very valid), teacher and student responses with an averageof 85% (very practical), and student learning outcomes that increased significantlyafter the use of the media. Thus, Spedomatik-based place value media is suitableto be used as a learning aid to enhance students’ conceptual understanding inmathematics.

Sirojul 'Ulum Tahfidhil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School is an institution thatspecifically educates students to become tahfidz Qur'an while still paying attentionto the effective management aspects of education. The application of studentmanagement and class management in learning the Qur'an is very important sothat the Qur'an learning process runs optimally. The Tahfidhil Qur'an program issystematically designed to ensure that students are able to memorize the Qur'anproperly and correctly. Students are encouraged to memorize the Quran in depthwith effective and structured methods. Muroja'ah activities and memorizationdeposits are carried out routinely to maintain the quality of students memorization.Student management is carried out through a tiered coaching system, dailysupervision, and the involvement of students in structured daily activities of theIslamic boarding school. Management of the tahfidz class is carried out by dividingmemorization groups, murojaah schedules, and teaching methods that emphasizediscipline, motivation, and individual approaches. The supporting factors forsuccess are the discipline of students, the commitment of teachers, and aconducive pesantren environment. The inhibiting factors include differences instudent abilities, boredom in memorizing, and limited teaching staff. Overall, theimplementation of student management and classroom management at the Sirojul'Ulum Tahfidhil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School went well and was able to create alearning atmosphere that supported the success of the tahfidz program.

This research aims to determine the effect of using picture card media on the cognitiveabilities of 3rd-grade students at SDN Mandala I on the topic of life cycles of living things. This research used a quantitative experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of all 3rd-grade students at SDN Mandala I, totaling 10 students. The research instrument was an objective test with 10 questions.Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, validity test, Cronbach'sAlpha reliability test, and paired sample t-test with the help of IBM SPSS 29. Thenormality test results showed that the data were normally distributed (p > 0.05). Thevalidity test showed that the instrument was valid (r-calculated > r-table and p < 0.05).The reliability test showed that the instrument was reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.716).The paired sample t-test results showed a significant difference between pretest andposttest scores after using picture card media. It was concluded that the use of picturecard media had a positive effect on improving students' cognitive abilities regarding lifecycle material of living things.

This study explores the role of technology in early childhood education (ECE),focusing on its benefits, challenges, and applications in the learning process. Asystematic literature review (SLR) of ten primary studies published between 2019and 2025 was conducted. The findings reveal that technology improves children’smotivation, creativity, and understanding of abstract concepts. Tools such asAugmented Reality (AR), interactive multimedia, and digital educationalapplications enhance learning experiences, making them more engaging andpersonalized. However, challenges such as teachers’ low digital literacy, limitedinfrastructure access, and concerns about excessive screen time remainsignificant obstacles. Effective technology integration in ECE requires a balancedand well-planned approach involving collaboration among educators, parents, andpolicymakers. Training for teachers and supportive policies are essential tomaximize technology’s potential in fostering holistic child development.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of local wisdom-based pop-up bookmedia on students learning interests in elementary schools. This study is a Pre-Experiment study using a quantitative approach. This study took place at the UPTSPF SD Inpres Manggala. The sample in this study were all students of class IVB,with a total of 38 students, 17 boys and 21 girls. The sampling technique usedpurposive sampling technique. The data collection method was analyzed usingSPSS Statistics 25, where the teachers activity observation sheet obtained anaverage value of 3.3 which means it was carried out well, then on student activitiesan average value of 3.4 was obtained with a good category. Then the results ofthe inferential analysis showed that the normality test value obtained P-Valuepretest = 0.549 which means it is normally distributed, then the results of thehomogeneity test obtained a P-Value value = 0.371 which means homogeneity ismet. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a value of 0.000 which is smallerthan the significance level of 0.05, which means that there is a difference instudents' learning interest, so H 1 is rejected and H 0 is accepted. So based on theresults of the study, it can be concluded that pop-up book media based on localwisdom is effective for use on students learning interest in elementary school.

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of cartoon video as alearning media to improve maharah al-kalam (Arabic speaking skill) of femalestudents at Pesantren Darul Abrar. This study uses a quantitative approachwith a quasi-experimental design. The sample consists of two groups: theexperimental group that used cartoon videos and the control group that usedtraditional learning methods. Data was collected using speaking tests beforeand after the treatment (pre-test and post-test).The validity test shows thatmost items have an r-count higher than the r-table (0.444) with significance <0.05, so the instrument is valid. One item is below the r-table value but stillhas acceptable significance. The reliability test shows a Cronbach’s Alphavalue of 0.800, which means the instrument is highly reliable.The data isnormally distributed (sig. = 0.200) and homogeneous (sig. = 0.200), so itmeets the basic assumptions for regression analysis. The t-test result showsthat religiosity has a significant effect on positive aggressiveness, which inthis context means speaking confidence, with a coefficient value of 0.371 andsignificance of 0.002. This means cartoon videos are effective as learningmedia to improve maharah al-kalam, especially when connected to Islamicvalues that are already present in the pesantren environment.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, word of mouth, dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian pada konsumen Generasi Z di Warung Kuroji, Kabupaten Sumbawa. Persaingan yang ketat di industri kuliner menuntut pelaku UMKM untuk memahami faktor-faktor kunci yang membentuk perilaku konsumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling terhadap 100 responden yang merupakan konsumen Generasi Z. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kualitas pelayanan, word of mouth, dan harga, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Ditemukan bahwa harga merupakan faktor yang paling dominan dalam memengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi manajerial bagi Warung Kuroji untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, mengelola komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut secara efektif, dan menerapkan strategi harga yang kompetitif guna mempertahankan dan menarik pelanggan.

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Project-Based Learning(PjBL) method in Arabic language learning at the secondary school level. Thisqualitative research uses a case study approach involving several teachers andstudents who apply PjBL in Arabic language classes. Data were collected throughin-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and analysis ofstudents project documents. The findings of the study indicate that theimplementation of PjBL has a positive impact on improving students speaking,writing, and cultural understanding skills in Arabic. In addition, students becomemore active, creative, and engaged in the learning process. However, thechallenges faced include time and resource limitations, as well as the need forteacher training to effectively implement this method. This study suggests thatPjBL should be more widely applied in Arabic language learning, with moreintensive training support for teachers.

The background of this study is the low level of read the beginning of class IIstudents. The type of research employed is the Research and Development (R&D)method. The purpose of this study was to implement the developed Loose Partsmedia to enhance the read the beginning abilities of second grade students atPandean Lamper 02 elementary school in Semarang and Sidoharjo 01 elementaryschool in Tegal. The development process followed the ADDIE model and OneGroup Pre-test and Post-test Design. Data analysis techniques included normalitytesting, homogeneity testing, paired sample testing, and N-gain testing. A total of47 students participated in the study, receiving both pre-test and post-test toevaluate the effectiveness of the learning intervention. The result of the N-Gainanalysis is 0,587 classified in the medium category. This showed that the appliedinstructional had a significant impact on improvement the result of studentslearning. Therefore, the Loose Parts learning media is considered a feasiblealternative to support the development of ability to read the beginning.

The use of YouTube itself as an efficient learning method between students andteachers This study aims to determine Students Perceptions Of The Use OfYoutube Media In Improving The Negotiation Text Writing Skills Of Students InClass X Of Sma Negeri 1 Tigalingga. The issues addressed in this study arestudents perceptions of YouTube and the use of YouTube in improvingnegotiation text writing skills. The results indicate that students have a positiveperception of YouTube as a learning method in addition to teachers and textbooks.This is evident in the level of success students achieved in writing negotiation textsafter watching and understanding lessons through YouTube. This study employeda descriptive qualitative method, with data collection conducted through fouraspects: appeal, relevance, effectiveness, and motivation. Data was obtainedthrough observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show animprovement in students skills in writing negotiation texts after watching lessonsthrough YouTube. Additionally, there were positive responses regarding theaspects of appeal, relevance, effectiveness, and motivation toward in conductingthe teaching-learning process.
